The Alpha looked around the corrupted room with contempt while standing between Lydie and Garmadon and the corrupted Realm Crystal with the Omega standing by, "So, this is the Realm of the First Spinjitzu Master," The Alpha said with glee. "Soon, the power will be gone, forever."

"Power?" Lydie asked in shock. "Father, what is he talking about?"

"What do you think? The power of your grandfather." Garmadon said to her. "The power of creation."

"Soon, there will be nothing, but destruction." The Alpha stated with its claw raised as the Omega turned to Garmadon.

"You, you are Oni. Why have you not taken this realm?" The Omega questioned.

"Well, I, it's complicated." Garmadon said a bit sheepishly while looking at Lydie, who gave him a look. "Enough talk! Let's get this over with!" He said as Lydie then did Spinjitzu at the two Onis with a yell, but she was whacked back by the Omega's staff.

Garmadon gave a yell as he charged at the Alpha, who swung his axe around as Garmadon avoided it before he was hit and was flung back as Garmadon gave a smirk. "Is that the worst you can do? I'm growing bored." He said as he stood up and charged up his powers as he sent a blast at the two Oni, but the Alpha deflected them as Garmadon ducks as they burst a hole on the wall to another vault while the Omega jumped up with a flip and knocked Lydie back again as she groaned. "Don't just sit there! Get up and fight!" He said to her.

Lydie got up as she gave a yell and charge at the two Onis, but she was knocked back and into another vault as she hit something as she fell down and heard a clanging sound as she looked and saw the Sword of Sanctuary beside her.

"The Sword of Sanctuary. The future is reflected in its blade." Lydie remembered as she saw herself clashing with the Alpha and Omega as she stood up with a serious look. "Let's try that again." She said as she flipped back in and charged at the two Onis, but the Alpha summoned a dark tentacle and caught her as she was flung back into the wall as the Omega then did the same with Garmadon.

"Guess they don't care much about the future." Lydie muttered as she groaned and straightened herself. "I'm getting tired of this."

"So am I!" Garmadon said as he used his powers to block the testicles. "How did you and your brother ever defeat me in the first place?"

Lydie gave a glare before she eyed the Realm Crystal, having an idea as she rushed towards it as the Alpha shot a tentacle at her, which she avoided and swipe it with the Sword and then gave a yell as she gave a slash to the Realm Crystal, shattering it to pieces as she stood beside her father in a pose.

"Took you long enough." Garmadon said to her.

"Ah, come on! That was awesome!" Lydie argued with a look.

"It was attiquick." Garmadon retorted.

"Fools!" The Alpha said as he and The Omega stood side by side. "The Realm Crystal was merely the key in which we opened the gateway!"

"Destroying it will accomplish nothing!" The Omega told them.

"What?!" Lydie exclaimed in shock before turning to her father. "You said it would stop them!"

"Well I, uhh." Garmadon stammered.

"Well what?!" Lydie questioned.

"I thought it would work!" Garmadon shouted.

"Well you thought wrong!" Lydie exclaimed as the Omega and Alpha then slammed their weapons down as dark cracks formed, which they stepped back as more Oni then started coming out from them in a puff of darkness as Lydie looked in shock.

"Ahh crud." Lydie muttered.

"Maybe we could consider another tactic." Garmadon said as he rushed through the hole with Lydie following as Garmadon blasted holes into the walls into each vault with the Oni behind them, after a few vaults, Garmadon sent another blast, but some rocks fell.

"What are you waiting for?! Blast a hole into the next vault!" Lydie exclaimed.

"There aren't any more vaults." Garmadon said while gesturing to the boulders. "Bedrock. No way through."

"Then try that wall!" Lydie said as Garmadon shot another blast on the side wall, but it was bedrock as well as the two turned and saw the Oni advancing towards them.

Lydie then charged at the Oni with the Sword of Sanctuary, but with how many there were she was completely outnumbered and tossed away and landed by her father.

"I want you to know that I blame you for all of this." Garmadon said to her.

"Me?! This was your plan!" Lydie told him as they saw that the Oni had them cornered as the father and daughter backed away.

But then, The Oni hissed and took a step back and refused to advance forward and this confused both Lydie and Garmadon. "Why aren't they attacking?" Lydie asked in confusion.

Lydie then noticed a golden glow on her shoulder as she turned around and was surprised to see what was behind her, she tapped her father's arm as Garmadon turned around and was also surprised to see what was causing the Oni to back away.

"The Armor of the Golden Master!" Lydie and Garmadon said in unison with smirks as they saw the Golden Armor that was recovered from the Overlord when he was the Golden Master and more importantly, Oni didn't seem to like it.

Lydie took the Golden Armor and faced it to the Oni, who backed away in fear. "Look at them. They fear it." Garmadon said with a smirk as he and Lydie walked forward as the Oni backed away.

"It was forged from the Four Weapons of Spinjitzu. They should." Lydie said with a smirk as she kept facing the Armor to the Oni, who backed away from it.

"Haha! Back!" Garmadon laughed as the Oni backed away. "Nice try!"

They then soon face the Omega and Alpha, who seemed unfazed by the armor. "It's not working too well on them." Lydie said as she got the armor closer, which made the two Oni leaders flinch back a bit.

"Well enough." Garmadon said with a shrug.

"You are delaying the inevitable." The Alpha said as the two Onis backed away into a wall.

"More and more of us are coming." The Omega spoke next.

"We will destroy you!" Both Oni's said with an evil glare.

"Not today you won't!" Lydie said with a look before she tripped over and lost the Golden Armor, which caused the Oni to get closer to her as she braced herself.

But then Garmadon came forward while holding the Golden Armor. "Back!" He said as the Onis moved back. "Get up!" He said to his daughter as she got up as the two backed away to the entrance with the Oni still looking at them as they saw the elevator shaft. "Okay, on three, we run. One, two, three!" He called as he and Lydie began running, with the Oni chasing them while the Omega and Alpha stood there as the tentacles moved towards them.

The two made it to the elevator shaft as they climbed up to the ground as the Oni, hundreds of them, were coming from all over the building as Lydie and Garmadon rushed to the door. "Zane! Nya! Get us out of here! Lower the ziplines! Lower the ziplines!" Lydie shouted to the comlink as they made it outside with the Oni hot on their tail.

"Lydie, I'm standing by for your extraction." Pixal said as her mech still flew over Borg Tower. "Locking onto your coordinates now." She said as she tracked their location.

"Pix?" Lydie asked in surprise.

"Where is the Bounty?" Lydie questioned as she and her father kept running.

"They are attending to a distress call." Pixal answered.

"I remain behind incase of an emergency. I have your coordinates. I am on my way." Pixal said to her as she flew her mech down.

"No! You can't enter the cloud! We have no idea what it will do to you!" Lydie said to Pixal, not sure what would happen if Pixal entered the cloud.

"I am a Ninjdroid." Pixal reminded her as she flew into the cloud. "I should be able to withstand the cloud's effect."

"We don't know that." Lydie said to Pixal.

"As you once said, we're about to find out." Pixal recited as she got a warning on her mech.

"Warning, fuel level's low. 4% remaining." The mech informed as Pixal knew she haven't much time as she flew flaster down into the Darkness.

Meanwhile, the Destiny's Bounty flew over the Darkness, trying to find the location of the distress signal. "How much farther to that distress call?" Nya asked while the others looked around the Darkness.

"We should be approaching it now." Zane informed.

"I don't see it." Cole said to them.

"There's so much darkness, I can't even see the ground." Demir said with a frown.

"Wait, I think I see something just up ahead." Harumi said as she spotted something up ahead. "That's gotta be it."

"That's the Ninjago City News Center." Seliel realizes, seeing the top of the building sticking out of the darkness.

"It's covered in those, things." Kai said to them.

"I guess they didn't evacuate in time." Morro said.

"So what's the plan?" Rose asked.

"The girls and I will keep the Bounty afloat over the rooftop while you boys get down there and start saving those people." Nya told the boys.

"You better hurry before that cloud swallows the entire building." Skylor told them.

"Guys, let's go!" Lloyd told them as they rushed off while the Bounty made its way to the building.

Inside the NGTV building, Gayle Gossip was sitting on her desk and typing on her computer. "As the black cloud of destruction grows ever closer, surrounding on all sides, this intrepid reporter vows to stay at her desk, and bring you the news until the bitter end." Gayle said before she stopped and had a thought. "Tragic end? Terrible end?" She asked herself before she heard Vinny and the other news crew cheering from the window. "Would you guys keep it down? I'm about to go on air." She said to them.

"It's the Ninja!" Vinny cheered as they saw the Bounty flying over. "They're here! We're being rescued!" He said as they rushed off.

"Come on! We gotta get to the roof!" A man said as Gayle gave a frown.

"Great. Now I have to rewrite this whole thing." Gayle said with a sigh as she closed her laptop and took it with her as she followed the news crew to the roof.

The crew made it up to the roof and saw the Destiny's Bounty flew over them as four ladders appeared with Demir, Cole, Jay and Morro on it. "Hey folks, need a lift?" Cole asked with a smile.

"Boy are we glad to see you guys." Vinny said with a smile. "Thanks."

"Our pleasure." Jay said.

"Now hurry, one at a time please." Morro urged as they all made their way up the ladders.

"Mind your step now." Demir said to them.

Cole then noticed the dark tentacles heading towards them. "Uhh, a little quicker folks!" He urged.

"Creepy black vines closing in!" Jay called out as Gayle went to the ladder Cole was holding.

"You should know, you just ruined a heck of a broadcast." Garyle said with a frown as she climbed up.

"What?" Cole asked in confusion with a brow.

Morro then saw the tentacles closing in on them. "Let's go! Gogogogogogo!" He said frantically as he, Lloyd and Jay got on the ladders as Cole grabbed the ladder and panicked a little when the tentacles got closer to him.

"Girls! Get us out of here!" Demir called out.

"You got it!" Nya said as she rushed over to the controls. She pressed some buttons as Cole, Morro, Lloyd, and Jay kept climbing up, when Nya pulled the lever, the boosters faced the other direction.

"Uh oh!" Cole exclaimed as the Bounty went in reverse, causing Cole to lose his grip and fall, he would've fallen into the darkness if he hadn't grabbed the edge of the ladder, which snapped a bit as the Bounty move back as Cole avoided the floor of the roof while dangling by his legs.

"Cole!" Demir called out.

Back in the Bounty, Nya stood up and rubbed her head. "I keep forgetting that." She muttered as she was about to put the Bounty in the right direction.

Seliel looked over the edge, "You boys okay?" She called out to them.

Cole was dangling over the ladder and bumped his head on a metal tank as he struggled to grab the ladder.

"Hang on, Cole!" Jay called out.

"We're almost out of this!" Morro added.

"I got it!" Cole called as he managed to grab onto the ladder. "I think I can… Ah!" He yelled when he saw the rope snapped as it broke off.

"COLE!" Demir, Morro and Jay yelled out in shock.

"COLE, NOOOOO!" Seliel screamed in horror.

Time seemed to have slowed down as they all watched Cole fall into the darkness and disappear from view, Seliel with tears in her eyes tried to rush towards the controls to stop Nya and to go back and save Cole.

But Nya pulled the lever and they blasted away as the building was completely engulfed in darkness. Seliel then shoved Nya aside and grabbed the wheel to turn the ship around.

Skylor then pulled her away from it by the shoulder but Seliel smacked her hand away and yelled in her face they had to go back.

Skylor just gave a sympathetic look and told her that there was nothing they could do and that Cole is gone, but Seliel argued saying that he's not with tears going down her eyes. Skylor said nothing while placing a hand on Seliel's shoulder as Seliel just stood silent as she teared up and placed her hand on her face as she lowered her head in grief.

The News Crew looked in dread and shock as the Ninja had lost a member of their own for saving them as Skylor looked at Nya, who had a guilty and horrified expression, feeling it was her fault as the Bounty took off just as the News Building was consumed by Darkness.

The Ninja may have rescued the news crew, but they have lost Cole to the Darkness.

Pixal speed up her mech through the darkness as she followed Lydie and Garmadon's coordinates. "Warning, fuel levels low, 3% remaining." The mech informed.

Lydie and Garmadon continued running from the Oni with the Golden Armor in their grasp as the Oni were still on their tail. "Where are you, Pix?! We need you!" Lydie said through her comlink. "Pixal?!"

"I am inbound." Pixal informed. "Brace for extraction, and Lydie."

"Yeah?" Lydie said.

"We're only going to get one shot at this. I'm almost out of fuel." Pixal informed.

"I understand, we're ready." Lydie told her.

Garmadon and Lydie then made it ot the bridge, but they were cut off when another group of Oni are in front of them as the Omega and Alpha slammed their staffs down as the Oni got closer to them as the two Garmadons tried to push them back with the Golden Armor, but they were getting overwhelmed.

Just when it looked like there was no way out, Pixal's mech flew in and grabbed Lydie and Garmadon and flew away from the Oni. "Nice one, Pixal!" Lydie said with a smile before seeing that they were heading towards Borg Tower. "Woah! Tower! Tower! Tower!" She warned.

Pixal moved her mech up and avoided collision with Borg's Tower by an inch as she flew straight up. "Zane, Nya, Lloyd, this is Pixal! I have Lydie and Garmadon! But we are low on fuel! We need a little help! Where are you guys?!" She called.

"Warning 1% remaining, 1%." The mech informed.

"Guys, come in, guys?!" Pixal called worriedly.

"Pixal! We're heading your way!" Nya's voice spoke up. "ETA, two minutes!"

"Copy that. This is going to be close." Pixal said to them.

"Warning, 1% remaining. 1%." The Mech repeated.

"Hang on, guys!" Pixal said to the two Garmadons as she kept going up as they closed their eyes before they saw the light on top of them as they made it out of the darkness, Pixal then saw that her mech was starting to slow down as she looked around for the Bounty.

But then she got a signal that something was heading their way as Pixal realized that it was the Bounty and immediately flew towards that direction.

On the Bounty, the Ninja rushed to Pixal's location, "Pixal's fuel is just an inch away from zero, we'll never make it to her in time!" Demir said in worry.

"Oh, yes we will. I'm not losing anyone else today." Nya said with a serious look, not losing another one of her friends as she put the Bounty on Maximum Speed, which made the others scream as they were pushed back while Nya held onto the wheel.

Pixal kept flying in the direction the Bounty was as fast as she could, until Pixal heard beeping coming from her mech. "Fuel reserves, 0%." The mech informed as Pixal looked at the screen in worry. "0%, engine failure." The mech said as the mech began to shut down and began to fall. "Eject. Eject. Eject. Eject." The mech repeated as Lydie and Garmadon looked as Pixal tried to get her mech working, but nothing was responding as the mech fell closer back to the darkness.

"I am sorry." Pixal said apologetically. "I tried." She said as Lydie and Garmadon looked on as they looked down at the darkness below them, but then the Bounty came into view, which surprised Garmadon, but made Lydie and Pixal smile. "Brace for impact!"

The mech then landed on the Bounty as the three of them groaned as the others rushed up to Lydie while Zane rushed up to Pixal. "Pixal! Are you okay?!" He asked his girlfriend in concern.

"I am unhurt." Pixal said to him as Zane got her out of the mech as they turned to each other with smiles.

"Are you okay, sis?" Lloyd asked his sister as some dark clouds vanished from her as she returned to her normal self as she rubbed her head.

"Yeah, yeah, I think so. Still unsettling in that form." Lydie said while rubbing her head.

"So am I." Garmadon said as he stopped up and began dusting himself off. "Nobody has to worry about me."

Lydie then noticed the sad look on the others' faces. "What? What's wrong?" She asked as no one answered. She then noticed someone missing, "Wait, where's Cole?" She asked as they all bowed their heads, Nya's lips quivered while Seliel had her eyes clenched shut while gripping her fists as this only further worried Lydie. "Somebody say something! Where's Cole?! Where is he?!" She asked worriedly.

Zane then approached her. "He's… he's gone." He said solemnly.

"G-Gone? What do you mean, gone?" Lydie asked in fear.

"He…He fell, into the Darkness," Kai told her sadly.

"And we were hundreds of miles above the ground," Rose added.

"If the darkness hadn't got to him then… the fall might have." Demir said, looking down sadly as Lydie looked horrified.

"I…I'm so sorry." Nya said in sadness and guilt.

"He's… he's really… gone?" Lydie whispered in horror.

"No one here should be blaming you Lydie," Seliel said as she turned to face Nya with a glare, "Only Ms. Slippery-Fingers over here!" She said, shoving Nya back.

"Seliel." Harumi said with a look.

"Don't bother talking me out of it! We all know Cole's blood on her hands!" Seliel shouted with a look.

"Sh-She's right, it's all my fault." Nya said in sadness and guilt. "I pulled the lever the wrong way."

"Pull it the wrong way?" Seliel questioned with a glare, marching up to Nya. "Cole is dead and your only excuse is 'you pulled it the wrong way'?!"

"Hey back off!" Jay said, moving in between Nya and Seliel, shoving back the latter. "It wasn't her fault! It was an accident!"

"Yes it is!" Seliel yelled in anger. "Cole is dead because of her! I lost my boyfriend and the love of my life because of her! She's no Ninja and never has been or will be! She's just a major fraud!"

"Hey! That's my sister!" Kai shouted as he shoved Seliel back hard and onto a wall hard. "No one talks to my sister like that! So watch what you say!"

"Why don't you watch it?!" Seliel shot back, bringing her face to his.

"Watch what?!" Kai snarled back.

"Why don't I show you what?!" Seliel challenged as the two looked ready to fight.

"ENOUGH!" Rose shouted as she brought out her bamboo staff and shot some vines at the two, while pushing them back while tying Seliel up as she struggled to break free. "We are all grieving for Cole! But fighting among ourselves and blaming one another isn't gonna help!" She shouted with a glare.

"Why not?!" Seliel questioned in anger. "It is Nya's fault for what happened to Cole! She's the reason he's gone!"

"The Bounty has faulty wiring!" Demir shouted with a glare. "Seriously, the lever was in reverse! Can you blame her for faulty wiring from somehow who rebuilt the Bounty?!"

"Well in my opinion it should've been Nya to fall into the darkness instead!" Seliel yelled out as The Ninja, minus Garmadon, Skylor, Pixal, and Harumi, looked at Seliel in shock as they have hurt looks while Nya held herself, looking traumatized as Rose glared and swung her vines, which made Seliel slam into the ground hard, which made her groan painfully.

"How dare you say that?!" Rose said in anger.

"Okay, I have had it! Seliel, you went out of line there!" Jay shouted.

Seliel was about to say something until she saw the looks on all the Ninja's faces, then she saw Nya's face as she was panting heavily as the Water Ninja was having flashbacks to when she almost died because of the Tiger Widow Venom.

Seliel then realized what she said as her anger completely vanished as she had a guilty look on her face as she turned to Nya. "Nya, I-I'm so-" She tried to say, but Nya just turned around and ran off, crying.

The Ninja kept glaring at Seliel. "Seliel, now you've done it." Kai said with a growl.

"I-I didn't mean-" Seliel tried to say.

"Listen, we're all sad that Cole is gone, but in case you haven't noticed, he was closest to us." Morro said with a glare. "You think you're the only one who cares, then open your eyes!"

"And saying that about Nya was way too far." Lloyd said with a glare. "And you don't know about this, but Nya actually almost died one time!"

"So much that all of Ninjago even fell and Nya was almost gone because of that!" Demir added with a look. "And saying that she should fall into the darkness, that brought out bad memories that we all would like to forget! Thanks for bringing that up!"

Seliel was surprised to hear that which made her feel even more guilty for saying that. "I… I-I didn't know." She said with guilt.

"Alright, alright everyone just cool off!" Lydie said, getting between them all with a firm look, "What Seliel said to Nya was definitely uncalled for, but let's also try and remember who she lost today, who we all lost. And can anyone here say they wouldn't act the same in her position?" She questioned.

Everyone looked at Lydie before looking at each other and realized that she was right as they all looked down in sadness, but then Garmadon stepped forward. "Okay let's get going." He told them.

"Do you mind?" Lloyd asked with a look.

"Yes I do." Garmadon said with a look back. "We are wasting valuable time. All that matters now is this." He said while picking up the Golden Armor.

"The Golden Armor." Kai muttered as they looked in surprise.

"What about the Realm Crystal?" Zane asked.

"Ah, it didn't work. But this will." Garmadon said while gesturing to the Golden Armor. "They fear it."

"But Cole was our friend, but he was more than that he was family, our brother." Lydie told him with a look. "Can't you understand that, Dad?"

"What's the point, sis, he's never gonna get it." Lloyd said as he glared at his father. "Because he doesn't care about anyone but himself."

Garmadon gave a slight growl, "Every moment we waste risks our survival…" He stated.

"There's more to life than surviving!" Both Garma-Twins yelled out before they walked off.

"How do you reason with that?" Garmadon questioned before turning to Zane. "You, Nindroid, if any of you are capable of logical thought it is you, tell them."

"I am happy to say, you are mistaken." Zane said with a look. "At this moment, even I am incapable of logical thought." He said as he walked off, while the others followed, leaving Garmadon in shock and confusion by this.

In the Ninja's sleeping quarters, Garmadon was looking at the pictures of all of the Ninja together and saw them smiling with one another, he tried to give a smile but groaned and walked away from the pictures.

But then Garmadon turned and saw the picture of himself with Lloyd and Lydie, he went to the photo and gave a hard look at the picture before he looked beside the picture and saw the locket of his younger self with Misako as he looked at both of the pictures deep in thought as he remembered what she said to him at the Oni Temple.

"A child isn't born to a side, a child encompasses all," Misako's voice echoed in his head as Garmadon felt his head in pain, "True strength doesn't come from destruction. It comes from the bonds you have with those you care about."

Garmadon then looked at his four hands with a single question in his mind. "Who… am I?" He muttered.

Just then Garmadon heard the door open. "Oh uhh, sorry." Garmadon turned and saw Vinny by the door. "Oh man, y-you're, Garmadon." Vinny said in shock.

"And you are?" Garmadon asked.

"Uhh, Vinny." Vinny said with a nervous look as Garmadon looked at him.

"Are you a Ninja?" Garmadon asked.

"Me? What? Heck no." Vinny said with a small smile and a chuckle. "I'm a camera guy with NGTV News. I work with Gayle Gossip." He explained with a smile. "Wow. Sorry. I'm kinda tripping that I'm in the same room as you. Y-You're Garmadon." He said with a fanboying expression.

Garmadon just raised a brow. "What do you want, Vinny of NGTV News?" He asked.

"Oh, uhh, just looking for the bathroom." Vinny answered.

"Well this is not it." Garmadon told him.

"Right. T-Thanks." Vinny said as he was about to walk off.

"Wait." Garmadon said as Vinny stopped in his tracks. "I have a query."

"Uhh, sure, fire away." Vinny said with a smile.

"What could possibly be more important than survival?" Garmadon asked.

"Oh, well uhh, lots of things." Vinny told him. "Friendship man and love and uhh, harmony and trust, and truce, and uhh courage, and you know stuff that makes it all worthwhile, without those I mean, what's the point, right?"

Garmadon gave a thoughtful look before turning back to the picture of his children and the locket as he gave a small frown. "Indeed." He said before turning back to Vinny. "You may leave now, Vinny of NGTV News." He said as Vinny ran out of the room and headed to the bathroom.

Garmadon then gave a hard look at the picture and locket, thinking about what Vinny had told him, he then looked at the image of himself in both the picture and locket, remembering his children told him that was who he used to be, h then looked at his four hands again, wondering if that side of him is somewhere hidden deep inside him.

Meanwhile at the back of the Bounty, Nya sat alone while sobbing while she looked down at the clouds below, feeling huge guilt at the loss of Cole, while also trying to get those memories of what almost happened to her out of her head, because what Seliel said really hit her hard.

"Nya?" A voice spoke up as Nya turned and saw Seliel slowly walking towards her with a guilty look on her face. "Look, I… I just… what I said was… I didn't…" Seliel stammered a bit before she looked down in guilt. "I'm sorry, I really shouldn't have said that to you, what I said was completely out of line, and I really didn't mean it." She said with guilt as Nya just looked at her. "The guys, told me that something happened that almost… killed you, I… I don't know what happened but, if I had known I would never-" She tried to say.

"You had every right to be angry at me." Nya sobbed with her voice breaking. "I just can't help thinking. If only I had pushed the handle the right way…"

"No, the others were right, it was an accident." Seliel said as she sat beside her. "It was me who completely overreacted and took my anger out on you, when you completely didn't deserve it." She said in guilt.

"But you were right about me." Nya said sadly. "I got Cole killed, I'm not a Ninja, I'm just a fraud, it definitely should've been me to fall into the darkness."

"Don't say that." Seliel told her. "You are a Ninja, I was just talking out in anger, saying things that I don't mean." She said as Nya gave an uncertain look. "Nya, you are a Ninja, you are the Master of Water, what happened was a complete accident and you didn't mean it, I just took it the wrong way and completely overreacted, so I'm sorry for what I did, for what I said, for hurting your feelings and for bringing back some major trauma." She apologized before opening her arms. "Still friends?"

Nya looked at her for a bit before giving a small smile and hugged her. "Still friends." She answered as the two shared a hug.

"Feeling okay now?" Seliel asked.

"No." Nya answered.

"Me either." Seliel said as the two watched the horizon.

"I just can't help thinking If only I push the handle the right way." Nya said in guilt.

"Hey, it was an accident." Seliel told her. "Cole loved you like a sister. As much as I love him as a boyfriend."

"I just can't believe he's gone." Nya said in despair.

"Neither can I." Seliel said with sadness before showing a determined look. "But Cole would want us to keep fighting, besides Lydie, Zane and Pixal, you're the brains here."

"Me?" Nya asked.

"Yeah, I mean you are the one who was building everything when you were Samurai X." Seliel told her. "We could ask Zane but he's not much use at the moment."

"Yeah, right, okay." Nya said as she thought about it before coming up with an idea. "Okay, let's find Lydie and tell her to set a course for the Monastery of Spinjitzu. It has a forge."

"A forge?" Seliel said in confusion.

"Why would we need a forge?" A voice asked as Seliel and Nya turned and saw Kai by the entrance. "I was coming to check on you sis but I can see that Seliel beat me to it." He said as Seliel looked away when he looked at her before Kai turned his attention back to Nya. "But what would we need a forge for?"

"To melt down the Golden Armor." Nya told them as Kai and Seliel gave confused looks. "Guys, the Golden Armor was forged from the Weapons of Spinjitzu, so…"

"So…?" Kai started in confusion.

"So if we can melt it down and forge the armor back into the Golden Weapons!" Seliel realizes with wide eyes.

"Exactly. And with the Golden Weapons back, we can use them to fight the Oni." Nya added.

"Hah! That's a great idea! I'll go tell the others!" Kai said as he was about to rush off, but stopped when he remembered something. "Wait wait wait, the Weapons of Spinjitzu were forged at the Temple of Light. You can't just go to any old blacksmith." He pointed out.

"I'm not, I'm coming to you." Nya said to her brother.

"Me?!" Kai exclaimed in shock. "Are you crazy? I'm a terrible blacksmith, remember? You used to tell me that all the time."

"You're the Elemental Master of Fire, Kai." Nya told him. "Your fire can melt down the armor."

"Nya's right, Kai, you're our only chance we have." Seliel told him.

Kai gave a sigh in thought. "So the future of all Ninjago depends on my blacksmithing abilities?" He asked them.

"Yup. Pretty much." Nya said.

"You're the only chance we have." Seliel added as the three looked out at the sunset.

"No pressure." Kai said.

Back in the darkness covered Ninjago City, the NGTV news building was completely covered in darkness.

"Hang on, Cole!"

"We're almost out of this!"

"I got it!".

"COLE!"

"COLE, NOOOOO!"

On the lower levels of the building was a skylight as inside the building, Cole laid on the ground unconscious as dark tentacles started creeping up to him.
