Ochaco floated Olivia up to the grate.

Olivia smiled to her as she released her Quirk. "Thank you! I'll find you when I open the door, okay?"

Ochaco gave her a thumbs-up.

Olivia slipped through the grate and crawled her way through the air duct. She popped out the other end, shook off the dust, and looked around. The hall was empty and a bit too silent. Olivia went on ahead. She had no idea where she ended up, but she had a feeling she would recognize the door if she saw it.

She poked her head into a room, seeing a yellow Guy sitting in there alone, with some sort of gray lump of fur by his feet. Olivia entered, thinking he seemed nice enough, to ask for directions. He was petting the lump with multiple tentacles.

"Hello."

He whipped around, clearly startled by Olivia's presence. "Aah!"

"Wait, I just need directions. I have no idea where I am. How do I leave?" Olivia tapped a finger to her chin.

"Oh...How you'd get into here if you don't know where you are or how to leave?"

Olivia thought of Olly's clever way with words, while still being straightforward. "I got captured and I need to get out before they do something. The thing is, I have no idea what they're going to do to the people they captured."

"Oh...You're in the wrong wing. You'll need to leave this room, take the first left, and keep going straight until you see a large room. Then take a right and go straight until you see a large, rectangular door. That's the exit."

"Thanks! Left, straight, right, straight."

"You're welcome. I'm Thunder Guy, by the way."

"My name's Olivia. I hope to see you soon!"

She left the room and headed left, hoping he didn't give her false directions. She heard somebody coming, so she hid against the wall. The woman was tall and wearing a golden mask, and Super DimentOlive was walking next to her.

"I have an idea, but I'm not sure if it can work."

DimentOlive rubbed their arm. "But will it hurt?"

"Probably. If I forcefully unfuse someone, it's likely to hurt both hosts. And if you want to be...real...it will probably hurt or negatively affect you in some way."

They seemed lost in thought for a moment before responding again. "We want to try. We don't want to be a fusion any more than Dimentio or Olive does."

"I understand. If we could have a bit of privacy, that would be preferred. I work best in silence."

"Okie dokie! So, we're meeting in your room? Thanks, Grape!"

"Yes. I'll see you soon." She smiled. "And you're welcome."

They happily skipped off.

Her smile faded into a sigh. "They have such foolish hopes. What will it take them to realize that optimism isn't always the right way to think? They seem so nice, I don't want them getting hurt by their own ignorance." She continued after them anyways, seemingly ignoring her own concern.

Olivia got off the wall and continued. She found the exit without further interruptions, but came quickly to the realization she had no idea how to open it. She tried both pushing and pulling it, but not only did it lack a handle, but that plan also failed as well. She looked to a few buttons on the wall near the door and tested pushing the biggest one. That worked, and she was awfully relieved she didn't activate any defense mechanisms. She decided to help further by pressing another, which lowered the door as far as it could go. Just as planned, they were dropped off inside. Olly, however, missed his landing and fell onto his side. He slid on the floor, dropping Izuku and Momo, and lay there for a bit before getting up.

"Is everybody ready for-" Ochaco started, before being cut off by a blaring alarm.

The door slammed shut and Thunder Guy ran to them, his blob dog in tow. He looked at the group, then to Olivia.

"You uh-!" He pointed a tentacle at Izuku. "Rubert! Tear those humans apart!"

The gray blob barked and charged Izuku. Instead of attacking, however, he just kissed up and down Izuku's face.

Izuku laughed, kicking his feet. "No! Stop! It tickles!"

Thunder Guy stared at Rubert in silence.

Olivia waved her hands. "Wait! It's not what it looks like! These people are nice! They want to accept you! But Create-O-Guy is attacking them for no good reason! Even Super DimentOlive doesn't want to work for him! We want to help you, but with Create-O-Guy hurting people, we can't! Please, just let us through. I want to talk to him."

He called Rubert off his "attack" and sighed. "I guess I can make an exception. You do seem really nice...But watch out for Grape. The fusion's worthless in a fight since they're a coward, but Grape's pretty bad to deal with. She's a witch, and she told me that not even she knows the limits of her powers yet."

Izuku rubbed the smooches off his face. "Thankfully, we got some extra help. Apparently River and Wendy know how to deal with Dimentio's Quirk. If they can deal with him, they can deal with her."

"We couldn't bring them up here, though," Ochaco said. "So they'll be joining us later."

Thunder Guy motioned towards the large room he told Olivia to avoid. "Create-O-Guy is in there. Take care."

They split up, planning to surround him. Izuku and Bakugo when to the left, Ochaco, Olivia, Olly, and Tsu went to the right, and the rest stayed by the main door Thunder Guy motioned towards. It came down to waiting for the perfect moment.

Ochaco poked her head around a corner. She motioned that they could continue, and so they did. Olivia made them stop.

"Hang on, that's Grape's voice." Olivia peeked inside the room in front of them.

Grape was floating, as usual, in front of the fusion. She handed them something. They looked at it, then drank it.

They coughed. "Ooh, that tasted awful! Bleh!"

Olivia looked back to the group. "How would we deal with her? She seems pretty observant and we need a plan in case she sees us."

Tsu looked into the room. "Hm? That doesn't seem right. Isn't that Dimentio, ribbit?"

The rest of them looked. Dimentio and Olive were both in the room now with the original two, and they both looked equally as confused. Olive was back to his normal self, however with a marking of a black heart on his suit over his chest.

Olivia pointed to the fusion. "Look at DimentOlive. They look rough."

They completely lacked color, being stripped to nothing but black, white, and varying shades of gray. Their bangs were filled with an effect like TV static, and they seemed a bit unstable just standing there. Dimentio decided to give Grape a piece of his mind, jabbing a finger to her cravat.

"What do you think you are doing?! Forcing a fusion apart? Are you mad?!"

Grape was very unmoved by his behavior, clearly used to being yelled at. "I was simply trying to help. The more people we have for offense, the better, right? Well, meet Shi."

Dimentio looked to the ill fusion-less fusion. "...Shi? You named it?"

"They chose the name, Dimentio. They had a perfectly good reason for that name as well."

Olive decided to take advantage of the situation and ran out the room. Dimentio didn't notice, but Grape did. However, she remained completely silent. Her behavior reminded Ochaco an awful lot of Dimentio, and the way he behaved around Izuku. Seeing them side-by-side, their styles were also very similar.

"Grape," Dimentio said through a clenched jaw, "that fusion is going to die because you 'helped' it. If you love it so much, you would have just stayed out of their business."

"'A good leader helps everyone. A great leader helps those who need it, first.' Rex told me that. And do I seem like the kind of woman to go against what I've been taught?" She placed her arms in front of her dress. "Now, pardon me. I need to prepare further. I still have some business to do, and I hope to actually complete my plan this time."

Tsu shoved them all off to the side as Grape turned to the door to leave. Grape stopped in the doorway, taking her hand off its frame.

"Oh, and Dimentio? Be a good jester and entertain. We have some interlopers and we need to make sure we can get what we want from this man. Remember what we planned. While he's distracted, we take his Create-O-Gun and do things our way."

Dimentio grinned, tipping his body into a bow. "Oh, I know just who I want to end first. I need a proper rematch with Izuku after our previous...interaction." He stood straight, pulling a deck of cards from his poncho. "And I have a few new tricks up my sleeve." He vanished.

The girls covered their mouths and noses, having no good places to hide, to remain as silent as possible. Grape looked to their way. She stared for a bit, shrugged, then left down the other end of the hall. They all sighed as she vanished into another room.

"We should see if Shi's alright," Ochaco said.

They agreed and went into the room. Olivia closed the door and said she'd stand guard, since she could see through the keyhole pretty well. Olly stood silently next to her.

Shi looked at them, jolting a bit. "What are you doing here? They're going to kill you for coming here. You should get out while you still can." Their voice was shrouded in the sound of static. It occurred to Ochaco that they resembled a rubberhose cartoon.

"Your name was Shi, right?" Ochaco checked.

Shi nodded. "By why do you care? Create-O-Guy sure doesn't, and I don't think Grape does either. She's just doing what she thinks is best for her. And Dimentio...Don't get me started on him."

"What happened to your happy attitude?" Olivia asked, looking from the keyhole. "You're so...depressed now."

"Grape said there'd be side affects. But I didn't believe her. I was trying to be positive about things! I am a clown, I need to be happy!" It sounded like they forced themself to say happy, much less be happy. "But...I should've been honest about this. I only wanted to do this because they didn't want this. And now look at me. I'm a mess. I'm depressed, colorless, and sound like a broken television. I wanted Olive and Dimentio to be happy, and made myself sad instead. That's what the world does to us 'happy' folks. It takes us and tears us apart."

"Shi," Tsu said, "you're sad because you're sad. You didn't do anything wrong, ribbit."

Shi rubbed their wrist. "Perhaps. Maybe I just need to find my spark again? Is that what you're saying?"

"Maybe. Or you need to take some time for yourself. You never know."

Shi smiled a bit. "Yeah." They brushed their bangs and hat, making the bells jingle. "You know what? I want to help Create-O-Guy. But...I won't tell him you're in here yet, kay? Call it a favor or a bargain, I don't care. But either way, call us even. Just, take it easy on me, okay? I'm not good at fighting." They walked to the door, waiting for Olivia and Olly to move. "If this doesn't make me feel better, then I know this isn't the right way. But I want to experiment, okay?" They left.

Olivia smiled. "They seem nice, even like this."

Ochaco nodded. "I hope they realize that..."
