Last Time - "KAME...HAME...HAAAA!" Gohan fired a large blue beam at Babidi's ship, which created a massive explosion and destroyed everything when it. When the explosion hit there was a giant deep crater in the ground. Now that it was over Gohan flew back to the city, proving once again that he is a worthy successor for his father; by saving the Earth and the Universe without knowing it. As the Demi Saiyan flew towards the West City, only one thing was on his mind. "That was the first time in years that I've felt like my efforts to protect the Earth haven't been for nothing...I've missed this feeling."
Days later on the sacred Planet of the Supreme Kais...
The Supreme Kai was busy fishing in a pond when his assistant, Kibito, came to give important news. "Sir! Babidi's ship was just seen going to Earth a few days ago!"
"WHAT?!" the Supreme Kai asked in surprise.

Chapter 2 - A Debt to Repay
"Are you sure that Babidi's ship is on Earth, Kibito?!" the Supreme Kai asked.
"Yes sir, it was seen going to Earth a few days ago and hasn't left the planet yet," Kibito said.
"Then we must hurry to Earth if we want to find Babidi and stop Buu's revival!" the Supreme Kai replied.
Kibito placed his hand on the Supreme Kai's shoulder and transported them to Earth; The higher deities appeared in a rocky landscape. They looked around, trying to sense any strong energy signals but they were unable to sense more than thousands of life forces.
"Something's not right!" Shin stated. "Isn't Earth a healthy luscious green planet that's full of life?"
"It is, my lord! It's one of the most inhabited in the Galaxy!" Kibito answered. "There's supposed to be billions of life forms on this planet! And yet there's only thousands here!"
"Does this mean that Babidi has succeeded in reviving the Djinn? Is the destruction on this planet the result of Buu's return?!" the Supreme Kai inquired.
"I…don't know sir!" Kibito answered.
The two Core People then ascended to the air and began their search for Babidi's ship. As they flew through the air, they saw so many dead people. Every city that they passed by was filled with rubble, smashed buildings, damaged vehicles and dead humans. The more they flew past destroyed cities, the more guilt entered into the Supreme Kai's mind. "I've never seen or known this kind of planetary destruction to be caused by anyone other than aliens, or Majins! Has Buu really been revived after all this time? I'm the last Supreme Kai; I'm supposed to ensure that balance is maintained throughout the Universe! And yet one of the most precious planets in the cosmos is suffering greatly because I couldn't handle the duties of my fallen comrades."
Kibito looked towards his master and saw the look of despair on his face. "Sir," Kibito called, grabbing the Supreme's attention. "I know how you feel, but you shouldn't let this planet's devastation make you believe you've failed your duty as Supreme Kai."
"But I have failed!" Shin argued. "And now this planet could meet its end because I've allowed Majin Buu to be released!"
"You can't blame yourself for this planet's chaos! As the Supreme Kai your duty is to maintain peace throughout the universe, not just one planet! At times sacrifices need to be made even by you in order to achieve success!" Kibito reminded him.
"How can you say that?!" asked the Supreme Kai. "I've already allowed my fellow Kai to be sacrificed so that I could continue to carry out my duties as the Supreme Kai, not to mention the countless lives, planets, and galaxies that were wiped out before Majin Buu could be imprisoned! If I can't protect a single planet from an enemy that I've allowed to run amok, then how can I expect to maintain peace in the universe or call myself a Supreme Kai?!"
Kibito did not answer his boss' question. The Superior beings continued to fly until they saw a large trench hole in the ground. Beside the hole was a figure lying flat on the dirt along with 6 dead bodies and a piece of scrap metal. The Supreme Kai and Kibito landed beside the large trench and looked around. Their search ended when they saw a large purplish-brown capsule that was split open and had scorch marks. The Supreme Kai began trembling with fear at the sight of the shell. Kibito noticed his boss' reaction and asked "My lord, what's the matter?"
"That's…Majin Buu's shell. It's been…opened!" Supreme Kai answered, quivering.
"Are you sure, my lord?!" Kibito asked, although he knew the answer already.
"Yes, I'd recognize that shell anywhere," Shin said. "And if it's been opened, then it can only mean one thing… Babidi has succeeded in releasing the Djinn and is now causing destruction on this planet."
Kibito looked down in despair and said, "If that's then we must alert the rest of the Kais and initiate a plan to seal off this planet from the rest of the cosmos so that Buu's terror will not spread throughout the galaxy."
Shin clenched his fist and shut his eyes while he cursed his own powerlessness. He then slowly opened his eyes and turned to his assistant and said, "Very well Kibito, let's go." Just as they were about to leave they sensed a low energy signal coming from the trench. They turned to see one of Baibidi's alien soldiers crawling out of the crater in a very injured state. His left arm and both his legs were incinerated, his left eye was shut; his body was singed and his back was spilling blood. The Soldier groaned as he struggled to escape the crater with one arm. Eventually he managed to crawl out just as the Supreme Kai and Kibito appeared in front of him. "What has transpired here? Has Baibidi really awakened Majin Buu?" the Supreme Kai asked.
"Cough…N-No. That imp B-Baibidi…wheeze… failed to accomplish…hack… his goal of reviving Master Buu," the Soldier answered as he struggled to breathe.
The Superior beings could hardly believe what they heard through their pointy ears. The Supreme Kai was filled with relief that the Universe's greatest threat was not brought back from imprisonment. "If Majin Buu was not released, then why is this Planet a wasteland?" Kibito questioned.
"I don't…cough…know, it was like that…huff… when we arrived. A-All I know is…hack… that a warrior from this planet…managed to defeat Baibidi's forces. H-He had gold hair, emerald eyes and…cough… incredible power, h-he even killed Lord Dabura." the Soldier replied.
"What? The Demon King? Defeated? Impossible! There's no way an earthling can have the power to best Dabura of the Demon Plane!" Kibito exclaimed in disbelief.
"H-he said…cough…he was a S-Saiyan…" the alien Soldier managed to say seconds before his breathing stopped and his eyes went blank.
The Supreme Kai and his servant just stood there as they tried to process what they were just told. The Supreme Kai looked towards the sky as Kibito just stared at the dead alien. "I don't believe it. It's not possible that a human could be strong enough to challenge my lord, let alone kill Dabura." Kibito stood firm in his beliefs. "There's just no way this mortal's story is true."
"Do not let your fears cloud your judgment Kibito." Shin instructs his subordinate. "While the alien was speaking I read his mind, I saw everything that happened between the Saiyan and Babidi's forces." The Supreme Kai looked towards his right hand man as he continued to speak. "I saw this Saiyan dispatch every one of Babidi's minions, he managed to thwart Babidi's plan and kill the evil wizard. It seems that this warrior has done us and the Universe a huge service."
"I g-guess that means we have no further business on this planet." Kibito guessed, though he was unsure if he was correct. "We should return to our world immediately."
"No. This planet is facing a huge crisis and I would like to know what that is and how this Saiyan is handling it!" the Supreme Kai said.
"What?! My lord, be reasonable! This Planet's own destruction is not our concern since it's not the work of Babidi or Majin Buu!" Kibito urged him.
"This Planet almost became the first victim to Buu's revival, and yet one earthling managed to save the Universe from its true terror," Shin argued.
"That one earthling can't even save his own world from total despair; I see no reason why superior beings like us should get involved in a minor crisis rather than figuring out how to restore balance to the cosmos," Kibito said.
"This Planet is dying, that Saiyan has defeated Babidi, and Dabura; he has stopped Buu's revival, and has in one day saved the Universe from a grave monster that I could never defeat in my whole life!" Shin exclaimed. "We cannot ignore the fact that we owe this Saiyan a great debt; if we want to repay his kind service in full and restore balance to the galaxy, the first step is to find out what is destroying this world so that we may help out in any way! This is how I plan to honor this Saiyan deed and uphold my duty as Supreme Kai!"
Suddenly there was a huge explosion coming from a city far away. The Superior beings saw smoke coming from what was supposed to be Pepper City. The Supreme Kai glared in that direction and started ascending into the air.
"Where are you going my Lord?" Kibito asked although he already knew the answer.
"I must investigate and see if our new friend is battling against this world's destroyers!" the Supreme Kai replied. "Are you coming with me or not?!"
Kibito sighed and said, "I will do as you command my Lord."
The Supreme Kai smiled as his assistant ascended next to him. The Superior beings then flew towards the battle taking part in Pepper City.
Meanwhile in Pepper City…
The Androids had started their usual rampage and were confronted by the Saiyan Hybrids. Gohan told Trunks to stay back but instead the boy attacked Eighteen while Gohan fought Seventeen, giving any remaining humans time to escape. Trunks did his best to take on the female Cyborg but his attacks weren't very effective due to the fact that he wasn't a Super Saiyan yet. Gohan had transformed and was keeping Seventeen on his toes. As Trunks was beaten and held by Android 18, he responds to her with spite "Go ahead…do it! You..Witch!" She complies and raises her hand and forms a large energy blast.
"Oh no, Trunks!" Gohan cried when he noticed his pupil's distress, immediately turning from his fight and flying at Eighteen. Seventeen fired his own blast as Gohan kicked Eighteen; freeing Trunks from her grip. The blast hit Trunks, causing him to lose consciousness and fall.
"Die!" Eighteen shouted, throwing her blast at the Saiyans.
Gohan caught his unconscious student and used his back to shield Trunks from Eighteen's attack; deciding now was the time to retreat, Gohan flew away from the Androids to find a place to hide. The Cyborgs chased the Super Saiyan while blasting around the whole park. Gohan dodged every blast until he finally hid behind a broken wall; The Cyborgs continued to blow up the area until there was no sight of their target. "How could he have given us the slip again?" Seventeen asked.
"I don't know, and we said we were going to finish him off this time! It makes us look bad. When we say we're going to do something we need to do it!" Eighteen commented.
"You're really stuck up on that aren't you?" 17 commented as he and his partner in crime looked around while Gohan silently held Trunks and hid in fear.
"So? I just want to do what we say we're going to do; it's only common sense," Eighteen replied. They continued searching, but neglected to look behind the broken wall which was right in front of their eyes.
"I know, but he got away. Get it?" Seventeen reasons.
"Yeah," Eighteen answered.
"Let's take a few pop shots; we might get lucky," 17 suggested.
"Cool," 18 agreed. Both Androids raised their hands and Gohan closed his eyes as his adversaries fired an enormous energy blast that covered the entire area. When the smoke cleared there were a lot of destroyed rides, damaged buildings, and fresh rubble with the Androids standing in the middle of the destruction, but no sign of either of the Saiyan hybrids. "Do you think we got him?"
"I don't know. Did you hear any yells or anything like that?" 17 asked.
"No," 18 replied.
"Then we didn't get him." the brother Cyborg concluded.
"How do you know? He's tough; he probably wouldn't yell anyway." 18 pointed out.
"That would bite if we'd got him and didn't know it," Seventeen said.
The Blonde Cyborg sat on a pile of rubble and asked. "Huh? Why? What difference would it make?"
"Cause then we'd never know if we got him or not," Seventeen explained his logic.
"Yeah, I guess you're right. That would suck, man!" Eighteen agreed with her brother's logic; She turned to her brother and asked "What now?" Seventeen smiled, but didn't answer her question. "What?!" she asked again.
"Let's go home," he suggested. The metal murderers ascended into the sky and flew off to their home (wherever that is).
On the ground of the destroyed amusement park, two bodies belonging to the Demi Saiyans could be seen lying unconsciously. In the heavens, the two Glinds were hovering over the battlefield, having watched everything with complete awestruck. "Unbelievable. How can two mortals wield such destructive power?" Kibito questioned.
"Careful how you throw that word around my friend." Shin joked. "But I share your confusion. I've never known earthlings to have this much power. It is a bit unsettling," He glances at the area before spotting the Son of Goku. "Our new friend seems to be in a bit of trouble,"
Kibito looks at Gohan. "So, this is the Saiyan who stopped Babidi from reviving the Djinn. It's a good thing he did, if Babidi had used his magic to control those earthlings, this planet would be worse than it is now. However, it seems we are too late to offer any assistance my lord,"
Gohan's hand then starts to twitch, which Shin notices. "You're wrong Kibito. The Saiyan is quite resilient. But it seems he could use a hand, pardon the pun," Gohan groaned as he struggled to move in his condition. His face had a fresh scar across his right eye, his body was covered with cuts, bruises, burns and wounds, and to top it all off, his left arm was gone.
The Son of Goku looked up to see the Son of Vegeta lying on the ground, still unconscious and fatally injured like him. Using his right arm Gohan reached for his belt and pulled out a small brown bag. He used his teeth to open the bag and a Senzu bean fell out of it. He picked up the bean with his hand and looked at it. "Kinda like my arm; only one left," Gohan thought as he held the sacred bean. "Now Gohan, what would your father do?" Gohan forced himself to crawl close enough to his Saiyan brethren. "Hey little bro…you were great," Gohan said as he stretched his arm to give Trunks the senzu.
Just before he could put it in his mouth, he heard someone say "Allow us to help you," He looked up to see Shin and Kibito standing over him.
"Who…who are you?"
"There's no need to fear us my friend, we only wish to help." Shin assures. "Do it, Kibito."
"Yes, sir." the attendant obeyed. He walked towards the injured Demi Saiyan who raised his hand.
"S-Stay back!" Gohan ordered but could feel his consciousness fading;
Kibito ignored his worries and knelt down beside, placing his hand on his back. "Be still. This will be quick." Kibito instructs, proceeding with the healing; he started channeling his energy and immediately, Gohan's injuries begin to heal. Once finished, Kibito stands up and declares. "It's done."
Gohan immediately hops to his feet and begins to examine himself. He's surprised to see that every wound he sustained from his fight was gone; even the left arm he just lost had been fully restored, like it never happened. "How…how did you do that?" he inquired. He examined himself, his biggest surprise, that the arm he just lost was restored, like it was never gone. He then touched his face and felt his scar was still over his eye. "Aside from my scar, I'm completely healed, even the wounds I've had from previous bouts with the Androids are gone."
"And now the young one. Kibito," Shin ordered.
"Yes, sir." Kibito replied.
"Whoa! Hold it! You're not doing anything to my friend until you tell me who you guys are!" Gohan demanded.
"Stand aside, mortal." Kibito ordered.
"I want to know who you are now!" Gohan shouted as he transformed. "Huh. I haven't fully recovered from a battle for a long while. Feel like I've been made stronger."
Shin raised his hands. "Please my friend, stand down. We don't want your enemies to come back so soon. I promise I'll explain everything, but now, there isn't enough time. Your friend needs help right away."
"The Androids can't sense energy! Now tell me something!" Gohan demanded as he raised his hand at Shin.
"I'm sorry, but I am here to help." Shin replied as extended his hand and yelled. Instantly, Gohan found himself frozen, his body twitching from being held against his will. "Kibito, now!"
"Yes, my lord." Kibito complied. The assistant placed his hand on the Son of Vegeta and performed the same trick on him.
Trunks opened his eyes and looked up. "Gohan?" Seeing his mentor in a bind, the young Saiyan turned and spotted the Glinds. "What are you doing to him?!" He jumped and threw a fist at Shin, but was intercepted by his attendant who caught his punch and pushed Trunks back by tapping his chest with his finger.
"Kibito," Shin said disapprovingly as Trunks landed beside Gohan.
"He attacked first my lord," Kibito replied defensively.
Shin then lowers his hands, releasing his hold on the Son of Goku. "I-I was completely paralyzed. His power it's beyond my own. And the pressure it exudes, it feels almost like a…"
"Deity?" Shin finished with a smirk. "Are you finally grasping what I am?"
"He read my mind," Trunks got up and prepared to attack again but Gohan held him back. "So, you're a Kai?"
"Oh, I'm not just some Kai, like the one your father told you about," Shin replied as he moved his finger, using telekinesis to lift the Senzu off the ground, place it in its bag and pass it to the Saiyan, who claimed it. "I am the Supreme Kai."
Gohan raised an eyebrow. "Never heard of you, but I'm guessing that name means you're a big shot among the Kais?"
"He is above all those minor deities. He's a God to the Gods," Kibito said.
"Kibito, be respectful. Everyone has a purpose in the cosmic order," Shin advised.
Trunks just looked confused as he stared between his master and the Otherworlders, but he stayed silent. "So, what business does the Lord of Lords have here?" Gohan inquired.
"I believe we have a few things to discuss," Shin answered.
Gohan powered down to base and said "I'm listening,"
"Why don't we go somewhere more private," Shin suggested. "Kibito."
"Yes, sir. Kai kai!" Kibito exclaimed, generating an aura around himself, his boss and the Demi-Saiyans and then disappearing from the spot.
At Capsule Corp, Bulma was working on the blueprints for her newest invention…a time machine. She sat alone in the dark, typing away at her computer. "Okay, that's better. Nice. Major Improvement." As she worked on the design, she heard footsteps of someone entering her lab; She turned around to see her son, her friend and the two Glinds.
"Mom! We've got some guests," Trunks announced.
"I can see that, boys," Bulma replied.
"How'd we get here so fast? Instant Transmission?" Gohan inquired.
"Not quite. Kibito here has the ability to teleport to any location in an instant," Shin explained. "Much better than the Yardrats' technique."
"Alright then. You said we had things to discuss so…start talking." Gohan said, crossing his arms.
"Do not order my Lord, mortal." Kibito said.
"It's alright, Kibito. Our new friend here is just looking for answers." Shin said before addressing the Half Saiyan. "I am the Supreme Kai, the superior deity of this Universe. This is my assistant Kibito."
"Wait, Supreme Kai? Like that guy who trained Son in Otherworld?" Bulma asked.
"No!" Kibito replied.
"Okay, okay. I get it. Vast reality and all that," Bulma said, making Shin chuckled.
"So, why are you here?" Gohan asked.
"Do you remember Babidi?" Shin asked. Gohan nodded as he remembered his battles against Yakon, Merkit, Dabura, and Babidi. "Well you may not know it, but you saved the Universe from an even greater threat. The Djinn known as Majin Buu."
"Wait? Who's Babidi?" Trunks asked.
"Some little warlock who was causing trouble on Earth a few days ago. I took care of it." Gohan replied.
"Is that so? Too bad you can't do the same with the Androids," Bulma commented, getting a look from her son. "Sorry, bad joke."
"It's fine. We're all thinking it." Gohan replied. "What exactly is this Majin Buu? And what does he have to do with you?"
"Long ago, a wizard named Bibidi created a terrible creature. A fearsome Djinn named Majin Buu. This Djinn possesses neither reason nor emotion. It's pure rage incarnate. He exists solely to destroy and slaughter. In just a few years, hundreds of planets were wiped out." Shin explained.
"Well, I've heard that before," Gohan thought.
"I assure you, even this Frieza would've been no match for used to be four other Supreme Kais in my day, all of which would've bested Frieza or your father the Super Saiyan easily, and Buu killed them. Even these Androids you face would be no match for him." Shin said.
"How'd you know about Gohan's Dad being a Super Saiyan?" Trunks asked.
"He read my mind," Gohan replied simply.
"Hey, maybe we should have this Buu beat the Androids for us," Bulma joked.
"Majin Buu is the terror of the universe! He would never fight for peace, only destruction!" Kibito stated.
"Calm down, it was a joke." Bulma said defensively as her son face palms.
"You were saying?" Gohan asked Shin.
"Buu's ferocity was too much even for his master, so he sealed him away and sent him to Earth to be his next target. But before Bibidi could carry out his plan, I confronted him and killed him." Shin said. "I thought his plan had ended, without Bibidi, the seal could be undone. However, I made an error in judgment…Bibidi had a successor."
"Babidi. So, that's how he got to Earth." Gohan said and the Glinds nodded.
"Wait, Bibidi. Babidi. Buu." Bulma chuckled, getting the guys to look at her. "What? I can't be the only one who finds that funny,"
"Once we learned of Babidi's appearance on this planet, we came here to stop him and Buu once and for all." Shin stated. "But it seems that you've beat us to the punch. Gohan, would you please regale us with your encounter with Babidi?"
"Why don't you just read my mind again?" Gohan asked.
"I already have, but I want to hear it from you directly. I wish to understand it from your perspective." Shin explained. Gohan went on to explain the recent events that lead to the prevention of Majin Buu's awakening. "Your words match your memories. You are honest as you are brave. As I've said before, you've saved our universe from a grave threat, a responsibility that I have failed to complete. My inadequacy could've led to great tragedy, a shame for me who is meant to ensure the cosmos remains peaceful."
"I'm sure you did everything you could." Gohan reasoned.
"Indeed my lord. You shouldn't belittle your efforts. You've handled your duties well, sir." Kibito said.
"Be that as it may, you are the hero here." The Glind approached the Saiyan and held out his hand. "Gohan, you have done the universe a great service. As its Supreme Kai, I sincerely thank you for stopping Babidi and Buu."
Gohan accepted and shook his hand. "Don't mention it. I was trying to keep my home safe. Well, as safe as it can be."
"You have a pure heart and a good soul." Shin praised him. "I am in debt, Gohan and I wish to repay you in any way I can."
"You just saved me and my student a few minutes ago, I'd say we're already even, Supreme Kai." Gohan admitted.
Shin shook his head. "No, saving you two is little to repay what you've done. I wish to do more. Let me help you with your crisis."
"I appreciate the offer, but that's really not…" before the fighter could finish, the blue haired scientist quickly covered his mouth.
"Give us a minute, we'll get back to you." Bulma said to the Glinds. She, her son and Gohan then went upstairs to talk. "Gohan, you know I love you. So no offense but…ARE YOU SICK IN THE HEAD?!"
Gohan and Trunks eased their ears. "Bulma, we can't ask them for help here."
"Why not?" Bulma asked.
"Because this is our problem and we should handle it ourselves," Gohan replied.
"It's not like we're doing so well on our own." Bulma argued.
"So what? We decide to rely on these deities to save us?" Gohan asked. "The only deity who had any right to intervene with Earth's fate is long gone…along with his other half. And we never needed some kind of divine intervention before now."
"That's cause we always had your dad, who was not only trained by a few gods, he was practically one himself," Bulma commented.
Gohan's mind returned to his father's final moments. "Except he wasn't a god and despite that, he was able to handle just about anything thrown at him. And now, I need to be able to do the same."
"Look Gohan, I know you feel like protecting this world is your responsibility but you don't have to do this by yourself," Bulma assures him. "Besides, I think you've done more than enough."
"Have I?" Gohan questioned. "13 years of doing this, and I'm no closer to stopping those Monsters than when I had the others with me, while I'm sure my father would've found a way in 13 days."
"Gohan, you're not your dad." Bulma says, trying to console him but he turns away.
"You're right, I'm just his son." the Hybrid replies. "Look, you know where I stand with this, and that's no."
"Well, I say yes. We could use all the help we can get." Bulma says defensively.
The adults then turn to the young half Saiyan. "Well little bro, looks like you're the tie breaker."
"Me? I get a say?" Trunks asked.
"Of course you do sweetie. You're a part of this too, in more ways than one." Bulma told him.
"W-What do you mean?" Trunks asked nervously.
"I mean I've noticed all the time you boys spend together. And then you and Gohan just happened to be together when you came here with our guests." Bulma said smugly. "And judging by how tattered his Gi is, it looks like he just had another fight against those Androids."
"Uh, yeah. I ran into him as he was going to face them. Strange coincidence huh?" Trunks lied.
"So you say. Except that your clothes are ruined too, like you also fought." Bulma pointed out. "I wasn't born yesterday. I know that you've been training and fighting with Gohan, son."
"I'm not…uh…I mean…" Trunks stuttered.
"It's okay, Trunks. I figured your mom would catch on soon enough. She is one of the smartest people alive." Gohan informed him.
"Thank you, Gohan. So son, now that we're all in this together, what's your vote?" Bulma asked her kid.
The lavender haired Saiyan looked away as he thought for a moment, then answered. "Honestly Mom, I agree with Gohan. I understand that the world is desperate and things only seem to get worse, but that's why I want to fix things myself. I've watched people die over and over again and it makes me so angry that I can't sit back anymore. That's why I'm fighting too. Not just cause I have to, but I want to take action. We've had to live like this for so long, we've never had to rely on gods to solve our problems and I don't wanna start now."
Bulma gave her son a sad smile before embracing him. "Okay, boys. You win. We'll continue to handle this."
Trunks returned the hug. "Sorry, Mom."
"Don't worry about it kiddo. I'm sure Goku and the others would've given the same response. They always preferred to do things the hard way." Bulma reminisced.
"Dad too, right?" Trunks asked.
"Oh yeah. Definitely, kid." Bulma replied before facing the older Saiyan. "Listen Gohan, if you guys are gonna keep doing this, then I need you boys to promise me that you won't die on me."
"No promises Bulma. People die all the time, especially in this life." Gohan jokes.
Bulma went on. "Ha, ha! I'm serious, Gohan. I don't want those monsters to kill you too. You boys are all I have left in this world."
Gohan gave a reassuring smile. "Alright Bulma, I promise I'll look after your son and that he'll always come home to you."
"I said that neither of you better die. I want you both around." Bulma repeated.
Gohan didn't answer her on that note. "Let's go tell the Kais," The three go back to Bulma's lab where the Glinds were still waiting for them. "Sorry for the wait, especially when we were just going to turn you down."
"Turn us down?" Shin asked.
"While we appreciate the offer, we believe this is something we need to deal with ourselves," Gohan told him.
"Most of us do anyway." Bulma muttered.
"So thanks, but we can't have you handle this for us." Gohan said.
Shin then chuckles "I'm afraid you've misunderstood. I'm not offering to defeat your foes for you, I want to help you defeat them on your own."
"How?" Gohan asked.
"I have a certain training regimen that will definitely give you the power to defeat those who ravage this world." Shin assured him.
"You want to train me?" Gohan asked.
"Yes. I understand you seek to handle the responsibility of defending the Earth yourself, and despite my status, there are still rules that do not permit me to intervene with mortal affairs." Shin informed him. "So, while I cannot personally restore peace to this world myself, I can help you gain the strength you need to do so yourself."
"He did paralyze me in my Super Saiyan form, so maybe he could make me strong enough to stop the Androids. Maybe I could finally be as strong as my Dad was," Gohan thought.
"Stronger," Shin replied. "You'll be even stronger than your father was,"
"Okay, you've got to stop doing that." The Son of Goku pondered for a moment then asked. "Will this training really help me to surpass the Androids?"
"I guarantee you will. Though I'm not too certain of their strength, I believe you'll be stronger than you've ever imagined." Shin told him.
"Alright, I'll do it but on one condition," Gohan said as he placed his hand on his student. "That Trunks trains with me. If this training works, then it'll be good for both of us."
Shin looked at the Son of Vegeta. "That is a reasonable request, I'll gladly train you both."
"So, when do we start?" Trunks asked.
"Right away." Shin said.
A/N:Done. Now time for the next chapter, Gohan and Trunks' training. It'll take some time for them to master the Z Sword and learn some new techniques before they can surpass the Androids. Will they ever be ready to face the Androids again? And how will the Earth ever survive without its defenders, who knows? That's all for now. Send your reviews. TTFN Antihero out!
