Same Day: The Milano
Twilight flies straight to the hole that Rainbow, Derpy, and another Ravager created.
Inside: The Dark Aster
The Milano enters the ship through the hole, speeding so fast that it grazes the floor, walls, and ceiling.
Inside: The Milano
The ship was still speeding through the hallway. Applejack laughed loudly in amusement, "Yes!" Pinkamena suddenly chuckled because of Applejack's laugh, while Sunset and Twilight shared a weird/confused look.
Hallway
Suddenly, the Milano gets blasted by Sombra's guards, and the blasts do not damage the ship.
Inside: The Milano
Applejack is still laughing, and Fluttershy is scared and holding onto her seat. Twilight then shifts the control handles and they turn to the left.
Hallway
The Milano was still speeding and grazed the floor. The metal grinding and creating damage. The Milano shifts to the left to face the guards.
Inside: The Milano
Twilight with wide eyes, still shifting the ship to the left.
Hallway
Twilight shoots at the guards, taking out a row as they round a corner to face another hallway. The ship slows down as they face the other hallway, many of Sombra's guards running away while some still blast at the ship.
The shots from the Milano successfully damaged the ship, causing a couple of minor explosions and killing more guards.
Inside: The Milano
The ship finally stopped moving after their crash landing. Applejack was still laughing, so she put her arms and fists up above her in victory, "Yes!" Sunset breathed heavily and looked at Twilight, relieved that she was not hurt. Twilight looked at her the same way.
Pinkamena, breathing heavily, looks at Twilight and says, "We're just like Kevin Bacon." Twilight looks over her shoulder at her and doesn't respond, while Sunset looks behind and looks at Pinkamena weirdly before remembering the conversation on Knowhere (From Chapter 14).
Outside: Sky
The battle continues between the Nova Corps ships, the Ravager's ships, and Sombra's warships.
Inside: The Dark Aster
Main Room
Maud stands in front of one of the four servants. She turns her head to the left and panics to Sombra, "The starboard kern has been breached!" She steps up the stairs to face Sombra, who stands up from his throne and stands a couple of feet from her, "We have been boarded!"
Sombra calmly orders, "Continue our approach."
Maud tells Sombra, "But the Nova Corps have engaged!"
Sombra calmly tells Maud, "None of that will matter once we reach the surface."
Maud turns to the guards behind her and shouts orders, "Seal security doors! Now!" She continues to shout in another language to the guards as she follows and walks out of Sombra's chambers. Sombra, holding his hammer with the Infinity Stone in it, slowly sits back down on his throne as Maud shouts to the guards in front of her as she stomps out the door, "Get out of my way!" The doors shut and were sealed with security around it.
Outside: Sky
The battle continues, and Rainbow's ship is doing well. It takes out many warships, spinning and turning as it shoots away.
Inside: Rainbow's Fighter Ship
Rainbow looks forward and concentrates. Suddenly, it becomes dark, and Rainbow looks and sees the Dark Aster speeding forward. Rainbow mutters, "Oh, man."
Inside: Nova Corps Headquarters
Main Room
Commander Cadance watches the Dark Aster come closer to the city on her computer table. She stands straight with her hands clasped behind her back. She calmly orders her ships through the intercom, "All Nova pilots interlock and form a blockade."
Outside: Sky
Trixie Lulamoon's ship stopped as Commander Cadance's voice ordered her ships, "The Dark Aster must not reach the ground."
Trixie Lulamoon's Ship moves forward to stop in front of the Dark Aster, with many ships joining beside her in a row, on top and bottom.
Suddenly, the tips of the star-looking ship connect with yellow energy from top to bottom, and the Nova Corps ships form like a giant net.
Nova pilot 1's voice, "Locked in!"
Nova pilot 2's voice, "Locked in."
Inside: Nova Corps Ship
In his intercom, Nova Corps pilot 3 informs, "We're locked in."
Outside: Sky
Hundreds of Nova ships create a giant energy net/wall/forcefield and capture the Dark Aster as it continues to speed ahead in their giant net shape to stop it from getting closer to the city. The Nova ships use much power to keep the Dark Aster at bay.
Inside: The Dark Aster
Hallway
On the side of the Milano, the door opens to reveal Twilight, Sunset, Pinkamena, Applejack with a weapon in hand, and Fluttershy. They leave the ship and slowly make their way through the Dark Aster. The door closes, and they're left in a dark room.
Applejack comments quietly, "I can barely see." Twilight and Sunset are looking all around.
Fluttershy lifts her left hand up and slowly releases glowing particles from her body to light their way. Everyone stops walking to look at the particles in awe. Sunset smiles, and Twilight looks at her. The light lit Sunset's face. Sunset looks down to see Twilight staring at her, and they share a loving smile.
Looking at the particles in amazement, Applejack asks Fluttershy, not looking away, "When did you learn to do that?"
Twilight looks between Fluttershy and Applejack and says gently, "I'm pretty sure the answer is 'I am Flutter.'" Twilight looks away as Fluttershy looks at her.
Pinkamena brings their attention back to hand. She stares forward in determination, "The flight deck is 300 meters this way." They all move forward at a calm pace, on alert for any danger.
Applejack tells them, "I want you all to know that I am grateful for your acceptance after my blunders. It is pleasing to once again have friends." She looks at Twilight near the front, "You, Twilight, are my friend."
Twilight accepts, "Thanks."
Applejack tells Sunset, who is walking in front of Fluttershy, "Twilight's wife." Sunset looks over her shoulder to look at her, "You are my friend." Sunset nods a grateful 'thanks' to her.
Applejack looks at Fluttershy beside her on her left, "This dumb tree girl, she is my friend."
Fluttershy looks up at Applejack and nods, "Mmm."
Applejack looks at Pinkamena in front of her, "And this pink whore, she, too-"
Pinkamena abruptly stops and turns to Applejack angrily, "Oh, you must stop!"
Suddenly, they hear a grunt, and they turn to see Maud jump down in front of them, intercepting their progress across the Dark Aster.
Maud tells Pinkamena sternly with her two swords in hand, "Pinkie, look at what you have done. You have always been weak. You stupid, traitorous-" Suddenly, Maud is shot, and she flies back.
Applejack held her weapon in the direction where Maud was as she was the one who fired the shot at Maud and sent her flying off.
Applejack slowly lowers her weapon and says darkly and sternly, "Nobody talks to my friends like that." Pinkamena looks at her, shocked but grateful. Applejack looks back.
Pinkamena tells them, "Head to the flight deck. I'll shut down the power to the security doors." Sunset nods and moves. Pinkamena walks straight forward with determination as the others follow Sunset to the left in the other direction.
Outside: Equestria Grounds
With the battle in the sky, Tempest survived the crash of her fighter ship. She picks up her dark blue diamond glass figure, which is shaped like a frog, that she got from Micro Chip's shop and had with her in her fighter ship, which got hit and crashed and landed on the ground (From Chapters 12 and 20). The diamond frog survived the crash. Tempest looks at the diamond frog in her hand and puts it in her inner left jacket pocket.
Maskless Changeling guard 1 calls out, "Tempest Shadow." Tempest turns around and notices that she's surrounded by a group of Sombra's army with weapons in hand and aimed at her, "Order your group to turn on the Nova Corps."
With her hands up in surrender, Tempest slowly opens up more of her jacket and starts whistling beautifully, activating her golden arrow weapon and floating up. She lets go of her jacket but still holds her arms out. She whistles for a bit, making the arrow to slowly turn and flip in the air.
Sombra's guards look taken back for a moment at the unknown move. Guard 1 shouts as he aims his weapon again at Tempest, "Enough nonsense, Ravager! Time to die-" Tempest sharply whistles again and the weapon quickly flies to guard 1's chest, killing him instantly.
Tempest continues to whistle, and the arrow quickly flies around the platoon and kills guards 2 to 10. Then, a warship goes to land, but the arrow goes through the armor and kills guard 11. Then it comes out and kills guards 12 to 15 before returning to Tempest, who is not looking, and swiftly catches the arrow.
All the Changelings guards fall dead, and the warship drops to the ground and explodes, all while Tempest puts her arrow back in her holster on her hip.
Sky
The Dark Aster speeds forward with the Nova Corps blockade pulling it back.
Inside: The Dark Aster
Power Source Room / Hallway
Maud raises her right hand. Her bones and mechanical bones start to crack and pull themselves back into place, with her grunting in pain. She sits up and grabs the handle of her sword that she had dropped.
Maud stands up as Pinkamena comes running, but stops abruptly when she sees Maud. Maud turns her head to face her with a glare, and her jaw cracks back into place.
Pinkamena pleads to Maud, "Maud, please." Pinkamena walks closer with her arms up in surrender.
Suddenly, Maud swings her left arm down to hit Pinkamena, who leans back to the right so that Maud can miss her. Maud goes to swing again, but Pinkamena pushes her in the ribs and grabs Maud's right arm as she goes to hit her. Pinkamena twists and ducks under Maud's arm and elbows her back hard, letting go of her arm as Maud goes down to her knees in pain.
Pinkamena turns and runs to the power source while Maud flicks her wrists and her swords extend out. Pinkamena pulls down the power source tube, the controls on the bottom, and the green energy waves in the middle of the tube, moving in circles down.
Pinkamena punches the power source to shut down the power to the security doors, but Maud approaches her while she swings her arm down and zaps Pinkamena with electricity from her sword, making Pinkamena cry out and step back.
Maid swings horizontally with the sword in her right hand, making Pinkamena duck. Maud swings horizontally again with her left arm lower down, making Pinkamena jump back so as not to get sliced in the stomach.
Maud crosses her sword and swings it out to cut Pinkamena's head off, but Pinkamena ducks her head down to make her miss. Pinkamena flips her hair back as she stands straight and goes to make a move, but Maud front-kicks her in the gut, making Pinkamena stumble back. Maud swings and twists her sword in her right hand skillfully as she walks forward towards Pinkamena.
