Pokemon Mansion and Trophy Garden
Lincoln, Luna, and their friends are on Route 212, training their Pokemon before continuing on their way to Hearthome City where Lincoln's next gym battle awaits him while Stella and Dawn prepare for their next Pokemon Contest.
Lincoln's Infernape learned Fire Spin, his Hisuian Zoroark learned Shadow Ball, his Bastiodon got stronger, his Floatzel learned Waterfall, his Dragonair learned Dragon Rush, and his Victreebel got stronger.
Sam's Empoleon learned Whirlpool, her Luxray learned Volt Switch and Scary Face, her Kricketune learned Fell Stinger, her Crobat learned Haze, her Onix learned Sandstorm, and her Eevee got stronger.
Luna's Golem learned Earthquake, her Torterra learned Synthesis, her Hisuian Sneasel and Eevee got stronger, her Ambipom learned Fling and Nasty Plot, and her Rotom learned Hex and Substitute.
Clyde's Gallade got stronger, his Golduck learned Amnesia and Hydro Pump, his Leafeon got stronger, his Ninjask and Shedinja both learned Fury Swipes, and his Absol learned Sucker Punch.
Stella's Roserade and Eevee got stronger, her Beautifly learned Protect and Quiver Dance, her Combusken, Horsea, and Mareep got stronger. During the training, Combusken, Horsea, and Mareep all began glowing.
"Hey; Combusken, Horsea, and Mareep are evolving!" said Stella. Everyone watched as Stella's Pokemon began to glow. When they stopped glowing, Combusken was taller, she was red on most of her body, her lower legs were yellow, her face was red with a V-shaped crest on it, she had beige feathers around her face and on her chest, and her hands were gray and featherless. Lincoln points his pokedex at Stella's newly evolved Combusken.
"Blaziken, the Blaze Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Torchic. Flames spout from its wrists, enveloping its knuckles. Its punches scorch its foes." said Lincoln's pokedex.
"Whoa; Blaziken looks so cool." said Lincoln.
"Thanks, Lincoln." replied Stella. Horsea was bigger and had rough looking scales. Sam points her pokedex at Stella's newly evolved Horsea.
"Seadra, the Dragon Pokemon, and the evolved form of Horsea. Its spines provide protection. Its fins and bones are prized as traditional medicine ingredients." said Sam's pokedex.
"And Seadra still has that Dragon Scale." said Lincoln. "Hope we find someone you can do a mock trade with, so she'll evolve."
"Wish she evolved before Luna did that mock trade with that Paul jerk; would've done the mock trade with Luna instead." said Stella.
Mareep now stood on two feet, she had a pink body with wool on top of her head and her upper body. Lincoln points his pokedex at Stella's newly evolved Mareep.
"Flaaffy, the Wool Pokemon, and the evolved form of Mareep. If its coat becomes fully charged with electricity, its tail lights up. Flaaffy can fire hair that zaps on impact." said Lincoln's pokedex.
"Wow; three evolutions at once." said Lincoln.
Dawn's Piplup and Sylveon got stronger, her Pachirisu learned Discharge, her Lopunny learned Entrainment, her Altaria learned Take Down, and her Typhlosion got stronger.
Simon's Croconaw and Aron got stronger, his Slugma learned Lava Plume and Amnesia, his Heracross learned Pin Missile, his Gabite learned Bite, and his Doduo learned Uproar. Simon's Croconaw, Aron, and Doduo suddenly began to glow.
"Hey, they're evolving!" said Simon. Croconaw, Aron, and Doduo began to change shape. When Croconaw stopped glowing, he was bigger, and now had rectangular scales on his arms, legs, waist, and tail. Sam points her pokedex at Simon's newly evolved Croconaw.
"Feraligatr, the Big Jaw Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Totodile. It usually moves slowly, but it goes at blinding speed when it attacks and bites prey." said Sam's pokedex.
Simon's Aron was bigger, had a dark gray body with metal armor on his head and back, and metal bands around its legs. Lincoln points his pokedex at Simon's newly evolved Aron.
"Lairon, the Iron Armor Pokemon, and the evolved form of Aron. For food, it digs up iron ore. It smashes its steely body against others to fight over territory." said Lincoln's pokedex.
Simon's Doduo was bigger and now had three heads instead of two with two black feathers on top of each of them. Sam points her pokedex at Simon's newly evolved Doduo.
"Dodrio, the Triple Bird Pokemon, and the final evolved form of Doduo. When Doduo evolves into this odd breed, one of its heads splits into two. This Pokémon runs at nearly 40 mph." said Sam's pokedex.
"Congratulations, little bro." said Sam.
"Man; today's been amazing so far." said Lincoln. After the group returned their Pokemon to their pokeballs, they began walking through Route 212. As they do, they hear rustling coming from nearby bushes; they look to see a small pink Pokemon with brown, triangular ears, stubby arms and legs, and a curled tail jump out of them.
"What's that?" asked Dawn as she takes out her pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Cleffa, the Star Shape Pokemon. Many appear when the night skies are filled with shooting stars. They disappear with sunrise." said Dawn's pokedex.
"What a cute little Pokemon." said Dawn; she takes a pokeball out of her backpack. "I'm catching this one."
"Hold it!" shouts a female voice. The group looks to see a woman with long green hair with a white hairband, wearing a long sleeved, light pink shirt over a red vest, a red skirt under a white apron, a dark blue bow around her collar, and black shoes, running over to them; the woman soon reaches the group.
"Don't catch that Cleffa; she belongs to my master." said the woman.
"Oh; I'm sorry." said Dawn.
"Don't worry." said the woman as she picks up Cleffa. "This Cleffa sneaked away from Mr. Backlot's mansion."
"Mr. Backlot; is he your master?" asked Clyde.
"Yes, he is." replied the woman. "My name's Monica."
"I'm Lincoln Loud." said Lincoln.
"I'm his sister, Luna." said Luna.
"I'm his girlfriend, Stella Zhau." said Stella, making Dawn frown at her.
"My name's Dawn." said Dawn.
"I'm Lincoln's best friend, Clyde McBride." said Clyde.
"I'm Sam Sharp." said Sam.
"And I'm Sam's sister, Simon." said Simon.
"Pleased to meet all of you." said the woman, now identified as Monica. A raindrop lands on Stella's nose. She looks up to see dark clouds in the sky; lightning suddenly begins to flash.
"Oh man; we better find some shelter." said Stella.
"Come with me to my master's mansion; it's not far from here." said Monica. Rain suddenly began to fall onto the group and Monica.
"Sounds good to me." said Lincoln. He, along with his sister, friends, and Monica begin running through Route 212 with Monica leading them. Moments later, a large mansion comes into view; Soon, everyone was inside. With them, was a man with gray hair and mustache, wearing a purple suit over a white dress shirt and dark purple tie, and black shoes.
"I'm glad my housekeeper brought you kids here; it looks like a real storm out there." said the man.
"Yeah." replied Simon.
"Everyone; this is Mr. Backlot." said Monica, gesturing towards the man, now identified as Mr. Backlot.
"Hello, sir." said the group in unison.
"Greetings to you all." said Mr. Backlot. "Feel free to stay here until the storm clears."
"We really appreciate it, sir." said Lincoln. As the group looked around the mansion, Dawn sees a round, blue, mouselike Pokemon with a thin black tail with a blue ball on the end of it bouncing down a stairway.
"What's that?" asked Dawn, taking out her pokedex and pointing it at the Pokemon.
"Azurill, the Polka Dot Pokemon. Its tail is filled with nutrients necessary for growth. It plays by bouncing on its tail." said Dawn's pokedex. Stella was looking around until she saw two, pink, balloonlike Pokemon with stubby arms and feet.
"Hey, Lincoln; what are those?" asked Stella. Lincoln takes out his pokedex and points it at the Pokemon.
"Igglybuff, the Balloon Pokemon. It has a soft and bouncy body. Once it starts bouncing, it becomes impossible to stop." said Lincoln's pokedex. Lincoln sees three pale yellow, rodentlike Pokemon.
"What are those?" asked Lincoln as he points his pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Pichu, the Tiny Mouse Pokemon. It plays with others by touching tails and setting off sparks. This appears to be a test of courage." said Lincoln's pokedex.
"You sure have a lot of Pokemon, Mr. Backlot." said Lincoln.
"Yes; lots of Pokemon always come to my garden in the back." replied Mr. Backlot. "The Pokemon I have here I caught there." Monica comes into the room, pushing a cart with containers full of what appeared to be pink food.
"What are those?" asked Clyde, pointing at the cart.
"These are poffins." replied Monica. "The Pokemon here love them." She sets several bowls onto the floor and fills them with poffins; the Pokemon then runs to the bowls and begin eating out of them.
"Wow; they really love them." said Dawn.
"You think I can try making them?" asked Clyde.
"Yeah, me too." said Dawn.
"Sure; I can show you two how." replied Monica.
"Thank you." replied Dawn. Monica leads Dawn and Clyde to the kitchen. A loud crash of thunder was suddenly heard from outside, causing Stella to wrap her arms around Lincoln's shoulders in fright.
"Perhaps you children should spend the night here." said Mr. Backlot. "The storm should clear by morning."
"Good idea." said Lincoln.
"And perhaps tomorrow you would all like to search my garden for Pokemon." suggested Mr. Backlot.
"That sounds so awesome." said Lincoln.
Later, in the kitchen, Dawn and Clyde were stirring pink batter in pots.
"You two are doing quite well." said Monica.
"Well, I do have a talent for cooking and baking." said Clyde. Monica shows Dawn and Clyde the process of making poffins. Moments later, two platters of poffins were on a kitchen counter.
"Wow, you two; those poffins look delicious." said Monica. She then sniffs the poffins. "And they smell good too."
"Hope they taste good too." said Clyde. Later, in the front area of the mansion, Mr. Backlot's Pokemon were happily eating Dawn and Clyde's poffins.
"Wow; they really love our poffins, Clyde." said Dawn.
"Yeah." said Clyde. After the Pokemon ate all the poffins, the group prepared to settle in for the night.
"What should we do tomorrow?" asked Clyde.
"Mr. Backlot did say we can check out the garden." said Dawn.
The next morning, after everyone had breakfast, the group goes to the back of the mansion and look around with awe at Mr. Backlot's garden.
"This place looks more like a forest than a garden." Clyde says as he looks around at all the trees before him.
"No wonder Pokemon feel at home here." said Sam.
"Want to go for a stroll while we look for some Pokemon, Lincoln?" Stella asked her boyfriend as she hooks one of her arms around one of Lincoln's.
"Sure." Lincoln replied with a blush; he then feels something hook around his other arm, making him look to see it was Dawn.
"I'll come with." Dawn says while glaring at Stella, making her glare right back. The two girls start pulling Lincoln down a path while everyone else watches.
"Dawn should let them be." said Luna.
"Lincoln's heart belongs to Stella." said Sam.
"Hopefully Dawn understands this soon." said Clyde.
"Let's just look around for some Pokemon." said Luna.
With Lincoln, Stella, and Dawn; they were walking through the garden's forest when some movement catches their eyes.
"What's that?" asked Lincoln as he looks at an unusual-looking Pokemon that was pink and blue, its body looked like it was made of 3D shapes with no curves at all, long with light blue feet, nose tip, belly, and tail.
"What is that?" asked Stella. Lincoln points his pokedex at the Pokemon to get an answer.
"Porygon, the Virtual Pokemon. The world's first artificially created Pokémon. It can travel through electronic space." said Lincoln's pokedex.
"Whoa! A man-made Pokemon?!" said Lincoln. "I'll bet Lisa will really be interested in this one."
"Then catch it, Lincoln." said Dawn. Lincoln nods before taking out his Bastiodon's pokeball and lets him out of it.
"Bastiodon, use Rock Tomb!" said Lincoln. His Bastiodon drops a bunch of rocks onto the Porygon, dealing damage to it, and lowering its speed; the Porygon reacts by ramming into Bastiodon, hitting him, but not doing much damage. "Bastiodon, use Ancient Power!" His Bastiodon summons up four rocks with fossils in them and launches them at the Porygon, dealing damage to it; a surge of energy rises up from Bastiodon.
"Looks like he got a stat boost." said Stella. The Porygon releases a jolt of electricity that hits Bastiodon, dealing damage to him; he suddenly starts to twitch.
"Bastiodon's paralyzed!" said Dawn.
"We won't give up!" said Lincoln. "Bastiodon, use Tackle!" His Pokemon fights through his paralysis and rams the Porygon, knocking it to the ground.
"Catch it, Lincoln!" said Stella. Lincoln nods before he takes an empty pokeball out of his pocket and throws it at the Porygon, hitting it, and sucking it in; it wiggles a few times before clicking.
"Yes! I caught Porygon!" cheered Lincoln. As his new Pokemon's pokeball is teleported to storage, he looks up its information on his pokedex. "This says my Porygon isn't a boy or girl, it knows Tackle, Conversion, Recycle, Magnet Rise, and Thunder Shock; it has the Trace ability which lets it copy its opponent's ability."
"Way to go, Lincoln!" said Dawn as she hugs Lincoln before kissing him on the cheek; Stella growls before turning Lincoln's face towards her and kissing him on the lips, making Dawn growl as well.
"Let's just keep looking around." said Stella as she grabs Lincoln's hand and pulls him down a path with Dawn clenching her teeth and fists.
With Luna, Clyde, Sam, and Simon; they were searching another part of the garden when they see two small, pale yellow, bipedal Pokemon that looked alike, except that one had red ear tips and hands, tail that looked like a plus sign, and cheeks with plus signs on them, while the other one had light blue ear tips and hands, cheeks with minus signs on them, and a blue tail that looked like a minus sign; both Pokemon were playing with each other.
"Why are their cheeks and ear tips different colors?" asked Luna.
"Is one a shiny Pokemon?" asked Sam as she takes out her pokedex and points it at the Pokemon with blue ears and cheeks.
"Minun, the Cheering Pokemon. It cheers on friends. If its friends are losing, its body lets off more and more sparks." said Sam's pokedex.
"What about the other one?" asked Luna. Sam points her pokedex at the one with red ears and cheeks.
"Plusle, the Cheering Pokemon. It cheers on friends with pom-poms made of sparks. It drains power from telephone poles." said Sam's pokedex.
"I'm gonna catch these little dudes for Lola and Lana." said Luna.
"I'll help you out with that." said Sam.
"You can do it, sis!" said Simon. Luna and Sam each pull out a pokeball.
"Let's go, Torterra!" said Luna, throwing Torterra's pokeball and releasing him.
"You too, Luxray!" said Sam, throwing Luxray's pokeball, and releasing her. Plusle turned towards Torterra while Minun turned towards Luxray; both Pokemon had energy flowing out of their bodies and into one another's.
"What's going on with them?" asked Luna.
"I don't know." said Sam. Plusle charges at Torterra with incredible speed and rams him, dealing damage.
"Torterra, use Razor Leaf!" said Luna. Torterra releases leaves from the tree on his back and they hit Plusle, dealing damage. Plusle becomes covered in electricity and charges at Torterra and rams him but not dealing any damage.
"Good thing Torterra's part ground; electric type attacks don't work on him." said Sam.
"Right on; okay, Torterra, use Mega Drain!" said Luna. Torterra releases a dark green beam of energy from his tree, and it hits Plusle, draining its energy, and healing Torterra's wound; Plusle collapses.
"Catch it, Luna!" said Sam. Luna takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Plusle, hitting it, and sucking it in. It wiggled a few times until it clicked.
"Yeah! I caught Plusle!" said Luna. Plusle's pokeball vanishes and gets transported to storage. Sam uses her pokedex to look up Plusle's information.
"This says Plusle's a girl, she knows Nuzzle, Play Nice, Growl, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, Helping Hand, Spark, Encore, Skill Swap, and Swift; she has the Plus ability which powers up her special attack strength when she's with a Pokemon with the Plus or Minus ability." said Sam.
"I'll give this one to Lola." said Luna. Sam and Luxray then turned towards Minun. It charges at Luxray with incredible speed and rams her, dealing damage.
"Luxray, use Bite!" said Sam. Luxray charges at Minun and bites it, dealing damage. Minun charges at Luxray while electricity surrounded its cheeks and it rubs them against Luxray, but not dealing much damage. "Luxray, use Tackle!" Luxray charges at Minun and rams it, knocking it to the ground. Sam takes out an empty and throws it at Minun, hitting it, and sucking it in. It wiggled a few times until it clicked. "Yes! I caught Minun!"
"Rock on, Sam!" said Luna. Sam uses her pokedex to look up Minun's information.
"This says Minun's a boy, he knows Nuzzle, Play Nice, Growl, Thunder Wave, Quick Attack, Helping Hand, Spark, Encore, Switcheroo, and Swift; he has the Minus ability which is exactly like Plusle's Plus ability." said Sam.
"So, when Plusle and Minun battle side-by-side with one another, they'll amp up each other's power." said Luna.
"I'll give Minun to your sister, Lana."
"Thanks, Sam." said Luna before she kisses Sam on the cheek. Simon hears rustling coming from tall grass; he looks at the grass and an Eevee jumps out of it.
"An Eevee." said Simon; he takes out a pokeball from his waist. "I'll get this one; Slugma go!" He throws Slugma's pokeball and releases him. "Slugma, use Incinerate!" Slugma releases a beam of fire from his mouth, and it hits Eevee, dealing damage. Eevee charges at Slugma and rams it, knocking it back. "Slugma, use Ember!" Slugma releases embers from his mouth and they hit Eevee, dealing damage, and knocking it to the ground.
"Catch it!" said Sam. Simon takes out an empty pokeball and throws it at Eevee, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggled until it clicked.
"Yes! Eevee is mine!" said Simon. Eevee's pokeball vanishes and gets transported to storage. Sam looks up Eevee's information on her pokedex.
"This says your Eevee's a boy, he knows Covet, Helping Hand, Tackle, Growl, Tail Whip, Sand Attack, Quick Attack, and Baby-Doll Eyes; he has the Adaptability ability which powers up attacks that are the same type he is." said Sam.
Soon, it was lunchtime, and everyone met up in a clearing to have a picnic lunch, courtesy of Monica.
"Thank you." said Lincoln as he bites into a sandwich.
"You're quite welcome." said Monica.
"When should we send the Pokemon we caught to our sisters, brah?" Luna asked her only brother.
"When we get to the Pokemon Center in Hearthome." said Lincoln. "After that, I'll see if the gym leader there finally came back."
"Hope she does, Lincoln." said Stella as she places one of her hands on one of Lincoln's, making both of them blush, while Dawn frowns before she puts one of her hands on Lincoln's other one.
Lincoln's group have caught new Pokemon for people back in Royal Woods. What else will they do as their Sinnoh adventures continue?
