I need to make a timeline for this story. I'm not sure what's going to happen in this chapter. So sorry in advance that this chapter might take a while.

Because it's been so long (sorry about that,) I'll give you a recap. Everyone is working on school history papers and were paired up. Craig was paired with Pete, and they went to the library to do some research where they ran into Jess, the bad guy from the last story. She followed Craig home and apologized, claiming to be a changed person, but Craig doesn't know if he believes her.

Chapter 12 – It's Not Stalking

When Craig thought about the person he trusted the most to keep his secrets it was pretty obvious that person was Token. Although Tweek was his boyfriend and Clyde was his best friend, Token was the group's secret keeper. As long as he didn't think he could get anything out of it, Token wouldn't tell someone's secrets.

"It's gotta be quick, Craig," Token said when he let him into his mansion, "I'm very busy working on my project."

"No, you're not," Craig countered. Token rolled his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm not, but that's not the point. What do you need?"

"I have to tell you something that happened at the library yesterday," Craig told him.

"What? You punched the goth kid in the face?" Token guessed sarcastically.

"No! I only thought of doing that!" Craig argued. They reached Token's room and Craig immediately flopped himself onto the bed, much to Token's chagrin. "Anyway, while we were at the library, I saw Jess. And she chased me home."

"Whoa! She chased you home?" Token repeated in surprise.

"Well, not literally, but she was waiting for me when I got there," Craig admitted, "She gave me some sob story about being really sorry for what she did, and how she regrets everything, and wanted to make it up to me, and blah blah blah."

Token sat down at his desk and put a hand to his chin in thought. "I don't know if I trust her," he decided, "Anyone can say anything. It's actions that determine if those words hold up."

"Yeah, that's what I was thinking," Craig agreed, "But I don't want Tweek to freak out about this. You know how he gets."

"I do," Token nodded, "Maybe try to keep Jess at arm's length for now. If she shows she really is sorry, she should show Tweek too. Otherwise he'll think you're against him or something if you try to defend her."

Craig nodded in agreement. "Definitely."

"I've decided I am going to join the musical this year," Tweek announced to his friends the next day, "As long as I have some friends with me, maybe it won't be so bad."

"Good on ya, Tweek!" Token praised, "And don't worry, I'll be with you every step of the way!" Tweek gave him a grateful look.

"I would offer to join as well," Craig said, "But everyone knows I sing like a hedgehog that swallowed its own quills."

"I have no idea what that means, but you're exaggerating," Clyde told him, "You don't sing that badly." Craig narrowed his eyes.

"Thanks, Clyde," he muttered.

"Stan's girlfriend is joining the musical too," Clyde continued, ignoring him, "So you can probably count on her support as well."

"Stan's girlfriend has a name you know," Token muttered.

Craig, growing bored with this conversation, sighed, and started looking around. They were currently at lunch. He and his friends were sharing a table with Stan and his friends. Craig didn't mind as much as he let on. There was great enjoyment in continuing a rivalry with someone when both their group of friends were over it.

After a moment of glancing around the cafeteria, Craig spotted Jess staring right at him. She smiled and twiddled her fingers in greeting. Craig responded by flipping her off. When he turned back around, everyone was staring at him.

"What?" he asked.

"Who were you looking at?" Clyde asked.

"No one," Craig replied, boredly.

"Then why were you turned around?" Stan wondered.

"Because you people bore," Craig answered, "Except Tweek."

"AGH!"

"Well, now that we've gotten Craig's daily dickery out of the way, anyone have any plans for after school?" Token said.

"We're going to the arcade again," Kyle explained, "Cartman still thinks he can beat me at air hockey, but it's yet to happen."

"I've just been letting you win!" Cartman insisted, "I'm gonna beat you tonight!"

"I can't go," Stan sighed, "Dad's making me go grocery shopping for him after school because it's 'inconvenient' for him to get out there." He folded his arms angrily. "Maybe he should've thought about that before he moved us to the middle of nowhere."

"Can I go with you?" Craig asked, "I need to get…" he looked down at his hand, "Things for my parents."

Stan blinked at him. "Uh, sure," he replied.

"Whoa! You two are going to hang out?" Clyde gasped, "I'm speechless!"

"Try not to kill each other, all right?" Token told them.

"I make no promises," Stan and Craig said at the same time.

After school, Craig and Stan said goodbye to their friends before Craig followed Stan to his car. Most days Stan took the bus to school, but on days his dad made him do chores he would take his car. When Craig needed to drive somewhere, he had to take the family car as they were too poor to afford another one.

"Thanks for letting me come with you," Craig said as he got in, "I don't know why our friends think we hate each other."

"Well to be fair, we do act like we don't like each other," Stan told him as he started the car, "And I'm pretty sure you've said you hate me on several occasions."

"Yeah, but I tell everyone I hate them," Craig replied nonchalantly, "I think I've told both Clyde and Token I hate them at some point."

"That's just because you're an ass," Stan said.

"Eh, that's fair," Craig admitted.

When they got to the store, Stan grabbed a cart while Craig grabbed a hand basket. Stan looked down at the list his dad had given him while Craig boredly by.

"You know, you could go and get your stuff," Stan said without looking up, "And we could meet up later."

"Nah, I'm fine," Craig said in a monotone voice.

Sighing and rolling his eyes, Stan started making his way through the store with Craig by his side. Stan couldn't help but notice that Craig seemed to be putting random things in his basket. He couldn't help but shake his head.

As they wandered the store, Craig thought he saw Jess several times between the aisles. He couldn't help but wonder if she was stalking him. He turned and tapped Stan on the shoulder, who was trying to decide what kind of toilet paper to buy.

"What?" he asked, not looking up.

"Look," Craig said, pointing. With a small sigh, Stan looked up and over to where he was pointing.

"Yeah? What is it?" he wondered.

"You see that girl over there?" Craig asked him.

"…Yes?"

Craig grinned. "Excellent," he said. At least he knew he wasn't crazy.

Stan gave him a confused look but decided not to ask. He knew Craig wouldn't give him a straight answer.

After they checked out, Craig followed Stan out to his car. Stan started driving towards his home, and Craig watched boredly and silently as they passed his house. And he also didn't say anything once they got to Tegridy Farms.

"Hey son!" Randy greeted as they got out the car. "You didn't tell me you were bringing a friend!"

Confused, Stan was about to ask him what he meant, when he looked over and saw Craig standing next to him. And then the realization hit him.

"Ah! Craig! I forgot to drop you off at your house!" he exclaimed.

"Yeah, a little bit," Craig replied.

"Why didn't you say anything when I drove past your house?"

Craig shrugged. "I figured you'd remember to drive me home eventually," he said. Stan sighed and facepalmed.

On the porch, Randy let out a little chuckle. "You know, your friend there looks a bit like you, Stan," he observed, "Are you sure you're not long-lost brothers?"

"What? No!" Stan insisted.

"Calm down, now!" Randy urged, holding up his hands, "No need to get defensive! I wasn't insinuating anything! You have no reason to be suspicious! I certainly don't have any deep dark secrets! Certainly not about any drunken affairs that may or may not have happened around the time Sharon got pregnant with you, Stan! What are you suggesting? Geez! Get off my case already! GOD!" Stan and Craig stared in surprise as Randy stomped his foot then stormed inside the house, slamming the door shut behind him.

"Um… what just happened?" Stan asked.

"Did your dad just insinuate that he had an affair with my mom?" Craig wondered.

"I don't think he insinuated it," Stan replied, "He just flat out said it."

They both stared at the spot Randy had been for another moment. "Fuck," they said at the same time.

To add more drama, I thought it would be fun to borrow something I've seen in some other fanfictions where Stan and Craig are half-brothers. Since this is the fic that includes both of them the most, I decided to put it in this one. So, more drama to add on top of all the other drama.
