It didn't take too long for me to arrive at Ellie's place. It was a garage and gas station with a massive pile of junk to the right of it. I walked through the garage to see a COV member strapped to a spinning wheel.

"The God Queen Tyreen will drink the blood from the skull of the Great Heretic."

Just like that, a rocket shot out, and he exploded into chunks of COV pieces. I look to see a turret with a barrel that has smoke coming out of it. Behind it was a massive woman, pulling up a silver mask and holding a detonator. I'm pretty sure she was as big as a nightkin.

I cautiously walked toward her and asked, "Are you Ellie?"

"Yes, I am, and you must be Lilith, the new vault hunter she called me about."

"Yeah, call me Wyatt or Six."

"Alright then, Wyatt. I got a couple of outrunners that you can take but."

"What?"

"I got COV crawling around, and some of them took the outrunner."

"Let me guess, steal one from them."

"That's right and by the way, can you bring one to Catch-A-Ride?"

"Huh?"

"You never heard of Catch-A-Ride? Have you been living under a rock?"

"Some place a lot of people have never heard of."

"In short, a creation device that creates vehicles for you and I want an outrunner for the Crimson Raider."

"One outrunner coming up."

I went to the junkyard. I took out my Sequoia. A tink came out of the fridge and whistled, with a few other Children of the Vault popping out of hiding. I shot the tink in the head and fired rounds at other COVs. One of them had this weird-looking blue SMG that was shooting lasers that got my Pip-Boy radiation going up a few levels. I got a clean headshot on that fool.

The closer I got to the dirt track, the more COVS came out. It was like you shot one or two of these guys, and you ended up having to deal with seven or ten COVs. I switched to the Tediore SMG when a couple of the cultists came down on a zipline. It was easy shooting down the one that was still on the zipline.

I threw an SMG at a psycho that ran straight at me. It took half of his face off. This reminded me of the Mojave. So just like home, well, with less radiation.

Man, there were a bunch of outrunners driving around in the dirt track, with one in the middle of the track. It would be stupid to run across with these COVs driving. Might as well go with Ellie's option. I just have to think fast and smart, which is not a great combo when dealing with cultists.

I saw an outrunner coming by. I cracked my fingers and got in the middle of the dirt road and jumped onto the outrunner, causing it to swerve.

"Get off myride, asshole," said the COV

"Not your ride anymore, asshole."

Going to the side of the vehicle, I hit the COV in the nose with the butt of the Sequoia and grabbed him by the neck. I threw the COV out of the outrunner and hopped into the driver's side. Now, I had never actually driven a working car before and the only thing I drove was a semi-truck fueled by Nuka-Cola. That was another story for another time.

A couple of COV outrunners saw what I had done to their fellow cultists, and they went after me. I drive away from them and notice a ramp. Kicking it into high gear, I drove the vehicle to the ramp and jumped out of there. I landed on a skag with blood and bones splattered on the ground.

I noticed a blue button; pressing it, a rocket blasted out and hit the side of the hill. Noted.

I drove back toEllie's place and parked at the catch-a-ride that was next to the gas pumps. I got out of the outrunner while it began to scan. Ellie approached me.

"Hey, VH."

"VH?"

"It means Vault Hunter."

"Clever"

"Lilith called me to tell you to head for the Holy Broadcast station and no pit stops."

"What, they're moving the vault key?"

"The Calypso Twins are making an appearance at the broadcast station, and it would be a disaster."

"Understood. By the way, do you know where the nitro is?"

"On the left side of the steering wheel."

"Thanks."

Jumping into the outrunner after it got scanned. I pressed the nitro button and drove off to the broadcast center. I look into the rearview mirror to see Ellie waving at me.

As I drove down the desert road, I looked around the areas to see skags fighting mutated birds and a party in a circular building. One of the things that crossed my mind was getting back home. I have no idea where to start to find the way home. I'm sure I can find a way; I always do.

I heard a noise. The source of the noise was a radio on my right side. I grabbed the radio and pressed the orange button.

"Hello?"

"Deadwood, is that you?"

"No, this is his brother, Deathwood."

"Oh, I didn't know he had a brother. Whatever, we need help to make the drinks for the god queen."

"Yes, I help our god queen with the drink."

"Good. She'll need a couple after she's done with her hunger."

Nah, she'll need a new head after I'm done with her.

"The god queen is going to be satisfied
