Chapter 2
Rogue and the four female mages,were currently on their way to the guild Mermaid Heel. The four beautiful women, were successful in convincing their new crush Rogue to go with them as a male guest to their guild. Rogue was still nervous though, but he trusted them and on the other hand he was really interested to see this unique guild and meet other female members there.
He wondered how strong all of them actually were, because he hasn't even seen the power of the four members that were going with him to this guild now. He just heard about this guild and how strong and powerful some of these women were, and that's exactly why he wanted to see their power with his own eyes. He still couldn't believe that these four interesting charming ladies were able to convince him with their idea, but now internally he was glad that he met them here in Crocus today.
He now has a small smile on his face. "I'm so glad that i met them here in Crocus today." He thought and looked at all four of them, who noticed this and now looked at him with surprised expressions and a blush on their faces. "What were you thinking about?" Erza asked him curiously, and she and the other three women looked at him while they patiently waited for a response from him.
He looked at Erza while he kept his small smile on his face. "I was just thinking about how glad i am to have met you girls here in Crocus today." He said while still looking at Erza, and this made all four female mages blush now even redder and then they had a happy smile on their faces and closed their eyes. Then suddenly Erza and Mira who were still holding his arms tightly, happily snuggled their faces on his arms which made him now blush again.
"And we're glad to have met you here as well Rogue." Mira happily said and looked at him with another blush on her face. He nodded while still blushing with a nervous expression. Lucy then looked at him again with a questioning expression, which made him then look at her with a worried expression. "Are you alright Lucy?" He asked concerned, while he patiently waited for a response from the blonde haired mage.
She made a noise of surprise at first, but then she smiled warmly at him because she found it cute that he was worried about her. "Yes, i'm alright don't worry i was just wondering about something you told us earlier before." He and the three other women made a noise of surprise, and then all of them stopped walking while he and the three other women looked at Lucy with a confused expression. "What do you mean?" Kagura asked her fellow guild mate and kept looking at her. "And what exactly were you wondering about that i told you guys earlier before?" Rogue asked her and patiently waited for a response from her.
"Well… before we convinced you to go with us to our guild, you said that you normally don't trust people and i wonder why." She said and looked at him with a questioning expression. This made the three other female mages also now look at him with a questioning expression. His concerned expression then turned into a serious expression again while he closed his eyes in narration. "Well i would rather not talk about it…." "But all i can tell you is that sadly in my childhood, a lot of unfortunate events happened that made me lose trust in people…" "Until i met Sting and Sarah, who were my childhood friends and also the only two people so far that i trusted since then." He said with a sad expression and looked down, while the four women were looking at him with sad expressions.
Then suddenly, Lucy was raising her hands and looked at him with an apologetic look on her face and she was nervous now. "I-I'm so sorry, i didn't mean to- She wanted to say, but Rogue interrupted her and looked at her with a warm understanding smile. "It's alright Lucy, don't worry i know you were just curious and i can understand that because most people wonder why i am how i am." He said and assured her that she shouldn't feel bad for asking him why he doesn't trust people at all. She nodded, but deep inside she still felt bad for asking and decided now to never ask him this again. Because now she knows that he doesn't feel comfortable to talk about this and she accepts it. Her three guild mates also decided not to ask him questions about this as well.
Then suddenly Mira was touching his cheek with her soft hand, and this made him blush again while he looked nervous at her and she just smiled lovingly at him with a blush on her face as well. "Her hand is so soft" He thought and was now blushing even redder. Her three guild mates looked jealous at her and were really irritated but not for too long, because Erza then pulled Mira away from him once again. She saw how the three looked at her with a pissed off expression, and a tick mark on their heads But she only grinned evilly at them. "What?" "Are you jealous because I'm always quicker at flirting with him than you girls are?" She asked them in a mocking tone and they were now even more angry.
"WHY WOULD WE EVEN BE JEALOUS ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE THIS!?" Erza angrily yelled at her. "AT LEAST WE DON'T MAKE HIM UNCOMFORTABLE LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO MORON!" Lucy angrily yelled at her. "YOU'RE SO IRRITATING MIRA!" Kagura angrily yelled at her. This made Mira now lose her cool, and looked at them with an pissed off expression and a tick mark on her head as well. "OH YEAH!?" "AT LEAST I TRY TO MAKE HIM NOTICING ME, AND YOU THREE MORONS ARE JUST TOO SCARED TO DO THE SAME!" She angrily yelled back at them, which made the three even angrier now. "WHAT!?" They angrily yelled back at her in unison, and they and Mira then looked at each other with angry expressions.
Rogue only sweat dropped at their argument and sighed."Great now even Lucy and Kagura are fighting about me too." He thought with an annoyed Expression at first but then he had a small smile on his face. He then was slowly walking towards the four arguing mages, and gently laid his arms around their shoulders which made all four of them look at him with surprised looks on their faces and blushed extremely red. "What do you say ladies?" "Shall we now continue our way to your guild?" He asked them with a calm and gentle voice. Because they were so speechless about this, they were only able to answer his question with a nod and then he slowly let go of them again and they continued their way to the guild Mermaid Heel. They just looked at him again, while they walked beside him and still blushed and adored him even more now and they cutely smiled at him.
He still couldn't believe how he was able to calm them down so easily, by just simply lying his arms around their shoulders and then the arguing was quickly over and forgotten. After a little while Lucy and Kagura were now holding his arms tightly, while still looking at him with a blush and a loving smile which made him blush again. Erza and Mira were jealous, but they knew they were holding his arms already and didn't want to cause another scene in front of Rogue who already had to watch an argument of the four female mages a few minutes ago. That's why they didnt say anything now and did this for him.
"Hey guys, there is something that i'm wondering about." He said in a calm tone, while he kept looking straight forward and patiently waited for a response from the four women. They now looked at him with curious expressions. "What do you mean by that?" Erza asked him and wondered what Rogue would ask them right now.
He looked at Erza with a serious expression."What i'm wondering about is, am i actually the first guy who will see how the Mermaid Heel building looks inside?"... "Or were there actually other men already inside the building before me?" He asked the red haired Requip mage. She and the other three women made a noise of surprise at first, but then they had a sad look on their faces which made him then worried.
"Of course you don't have to talk about this if you don't want to." He said with a nervous expression, but then they smiled warmly at him which made him look at them with a surprised look on his face. "Don't worry Rogue, we don't have a problem talking about this." Erza assured him with a smile before she then had a serious look on her face and looked down. He nodded and patiently waited for Erza to tell him about this. "The thing is, you really are actually the first guy who will be legally inside the building very soon"… "But sadly, there were already some other men inside the building in the past but without permission." She said and then paused for a moment while still looking down with a serious expression.
He made a noise of surprise. "So that means these few men were trespassers back then?" He asked her with a serious expression as well. She nodded. "Mm, like i already told you before no man may join the guild but they still can visit our guild building if they knock on the door first and ask for permission…" "But sadly they entered the building illegally and not only tried to break in, but they also tried to damage the building by lighting a fire and killing everyone who was inside the building that night. She paused again and her serious expression turned into a sad expression again and was fighting not to cry in front of Rogue.
He had a shocked expression, and kept looking at Erza while he then felt pity for her and had a sad look on his face. "Erza"… He sadly thought and her three guild mates also looked at her, feeling pity for her and also remembered that awful night when those few disgusting horrible men tried to do that. The three female mages also then had a sad look on their faces and looked down. Kagura then looked at Erza again. "Big sister…" She thought with a sad look and kept looking at Erza.
"I'm sorry i shouldn't have asked." He said to all four of them, and felt bad deep inside for asking them this question but they were just shaking their heads. "You don't have to apologize for that, because we were ok with this to talk about it with you." Lucy said and looked at him with a warm smile and laid her head on his arm, which made him blush again and just nodded. They giggled and then also looked at him with a warm smile.
Erza then smiled at him once again. "But the good thing is, it's been a long time since that incident happened and nowadays most men don't dare to do this because they know that we would brutally beat them up too." Erza proudly said, with a smile and her three guild mates also smiled proudly. Rogue made a noise of surprise. "So that means you have successfully beaten these men up?" He asked astonished while patiently waiting for a response from Erza. She nodded with a smile."Mm, at first no one of us noticed them but then when a guild member screamed in terror and saw them in the lobby, then all of us came out of our rooms and were running towards them." Erza said with a serious expression.
He was still astonished and only nodded. "Did you four girls beat them up so badly?" He asked and all four of them nodded. "Mm, we showed them that you can't just illegally enter this place, and that you also can't just try to light the building with fire and killing everyone inside of the building." Kagura said in a calm tone while she had a small smile on her face. "If i would have been the only one there who attacked them, then those heartless and disgusting assholes would already be dead since that incident." Mira said with a serious expression, while he and the other three women only looked disturbed at her and sweat dropped.
But then Erza had a serious expression again. "But you do know that it would have gotten us and the master even in more trouble, right Mira?" She asked Mira while she kept looking at her with a serious expression. "I know that but it was their fault for breaking in, and for trying to destroy the building and also for trying to kill all of us Erza." Mira said with a serious expression as well, and just simply shrugged which made Erza then look at her annoyed at first but then sighed and gave up while she was shaking her head disappointingly at her. Then suddenly, Rogue brought attention to himself which made all four then look at him again.
"Why exactly did this get you guys into trouble?" He asked and patiently waited for a response from the four mages. Lucy then looked at him with a serious expression. "Well the thing is, this got us into trouble because the magic council was informed about this and our guild would have been almost shut down…" "But our master was able to handle this situation, and she could convince them that this was just our right to defend ourselves and to protect our property." Lucy told him while he eagerly listened to their story and nodded with an understanding expression.
"And then because of this incident, these few men got arrested by the rune knights and got charged with the crimes of trespass and attempted murder and also attempted property damage right?" Rogue asked them and Erza nodded her head. "Mm, Now they are in jail for the rest of their lives and will never see the light of day ever again. Erza said and he nodded."And after this horrifying event, the magic council could understand us and they told our master that we have a right to defend ourselves and to protect our property…" "But only under one condition." Kagura said and he now had a curious expression again. "What condition?" He asked and was listening to Kagura who then continued the story.
"The condition is that we don't kill the intruders, after we already beaten them up badly enough and just wait for the rune knights who will arrest them then..." She paused for a moment and looked down while closing her eyes in narration and then continued her speech. "But if one of us kills them then the magic council will shut our guild down." She said and finished her speech with a serious look on her face. Then Erza turned her head towards Mira who also then looked at her again. "If that incident should ever happen again, don't kill the intruders because we the master and all the other members still love this guild Mira." She said with a serious expression and a warning tone in her voice. Mira then looked at her with a serious expression as well, but she sighed in defeat and nodded with an understanding expression."Alright Alright, i promise i wont kill that scum even though i personally hate men like these. She said and kept looking at Erza who then smiled. "Good." She said and then all four looked at Rogue again with a smile on their faces.
"I heard your master is Irene Scarlet." He said and the four women nodded their heads. "Mm, let me guess Sting and Sarah told you about our master right?" Lucy asked him with a smile, to which he nodded with a smile as well. "Mm, they both told me that they know her and that they actually met a few times. He said and this made all four of them look at him with a surprised expression.
"Our master knows your master and his girlfriend?" Mira asked him, still surprised to which he only reacted with a confused expression. "Wait, does that mean your master never told you that she knows Sting and Sarah?" He asked and kept looking at Mira who then shook her head. "No, never and i wonder why she didn't tell us this." She said with a questioning look on her face. "Well, maybe my mother thinks we don't have to know everything from her personal life outside the guild, who knows?" Erza said and shrugged, which made the three other women look at her surprised but then they nodded with an understanding expression.
This then made Rogue look at her again. "Oh yeah right, your mother is the master and also the founder of this guild." He said with a small smile, to which she reacted with a small smile on her face as well and nodded. "Do you get along with each other?" He asked curiously and this made her nod at his question. "Mm, we get along pretty well but…" She then paused for a moment, and looked down with an embarrassed expression which confused him. "But?"... He only asked and patiently waited for a response from her. "But the thing is, sometimes she can be very embarrassing and also gets on my nerves." She said with a sigh and looked down, while he then looked at her with a surprised expression and the three other women just laughed warmly about this. They were still walking for a while, but then they finally arrived at the women's only guild. Rogue looked at the building with an impressed expression, and couldn't believe what he saw in front of him. The guild building of Mermaid Heel was huge, and it looked like a fancy hotel or like a mansion with the words Mermaid Heel.
This made the four women, then look at him with a warm smile and giggled because they found his reaction to their guild building so adorable. "Well if that already impresses you, then you'll probably be even more impressed by how the guild looks inside sweetie." Lucy said and looked at him with a cute smile on her face. He then looked at all for women again who smiled once more at him. "What do you say?" "Are you ready to go with us inside the building now?" Erza asked him with a warm smile and she and the other three women patiently waited for a response from him.
He kept looking at them and then nodded. Even though he was still nervous, but he really wanted to see the guild with his own eyes and he also doesn't want to disappoint them now. "Yes, I'm ready to go with you guys inside the building now." He said with a small smile, while they happily smiled back at him and then they also happily gave him a warm hug which made him blush again because they were so close to him. But to his surprise he enjoyed this very much and warmly smiled at them. Then after a short moment they slowly let go of him, and then with them on his side he and the four women were now going inside the Mermaid Heel building.
So that was chapter 2. I will see when i will write chapter 3 and then upload it here. And yes, Irene is the master of Mermaid Heel in this fanfic here. I thought why not? It is a different alternate timeline after all, so i thought i also could include Irene now as a character in this story here. That's why i also decided that in this fanfic, her last name is called Scarlet and not Belserion.
Of course this also means, that the Spriggan 12 won't exist in this fanfic here. But yeah that's all i can say for now, and until the next chapter of this story here or until the next chapter from one of my other stories. Have a great day guys and see you soon with a new chapter. :)
