The next day and Dipper woke up early to go see Wendy. Mabel awoke to Dipper getting ready and saw he seemed very chipper, which kind of annoyed her due to her very bad experience last night.
"Where are you off to shorty?" Asked Mabel.
Mabel called Dipper shirt, because she was slightly taller then him. This annoyed Dipper a bit, but he had a comeback for Mabel.
"No, were not doing that sit-com garbage! Mable, you almost got people killed...and for a pig?! What the heck!?" Said Dipper.
"What the?! How do you know about that?!" Asked Mabel in confusion.
"I saw the gnomes' security footage. Also I had to help the girls escape the gnomes." Said Dipper as he packed his bag with clothes and one of Ford's journals.
Dipper left and Mabel felt a little guilty about the whole gnome incident and decided she was going to assist Dipper in his date with Wendy, who she thought was just a human girl. Mabel grabbed a bag and stuffed random junk in it including a special flashlight that belonged to Ford and one of his notebooks in it. She took off after Dipper.
Elsewhere at roadside attraction known as the Tent of Telepathy, a young boy named Gideon Gleeful was waiting for an informant to give him news on odd happenings around Gravity Falls.
Gideon was a short stout kid with ice blonde hair styled in a pompadour. He wore a baby blue suit, a black shirt, and an American flag pin on the left side of his collar, with brown, polished shoes.
Gideon was a smart kid who saw Gravity Falls as a treasure trove full of weird things he could exploit for profit. He heard some rustling from some bushes and turned to see a gnome that was his informant walk out.
"What news do you bring?" Asked Gideon.
"Not much, there was a attractive mermaid in the public pool, apparently she's trapped there." Said the gnome.
"A mermaid huh? That could be a useful attraction to make some good money with." Said Gideon rubbing his chin.
Gideon decided to pay the pool a visit and look at this mermaid himself.
At the pool Wendy was wearing a blue bikini top as she waited with her float for Dipper's arrival. Dipper showed up and greeted Wendy who waved at him. Thankfully it was pretty early and no one was around to bother Dipper or Wendy, except for Mabel who spied on the duo from some bushes. Dipper stripped down to his swim shorts and got into the pool. Wendy smiled at him and took the boy under using her magic to allow Dipper to breath underwater.
Mabel watched the pool expecting Dipper and Wendy to resurface, but they didn't, which slightly worried Mabel, but she just figured Dipper was doing some weird nerd thing that was allowing him and Wendy to stay underwater, probably a mini oxygen tank. Mabel then decided to go through the backpack and found Ford's flashlight and the notebook. She read the notebook that told Mabel the flashlight had a special crystal that could change the size of other things and that exited Mabel.
Meanwhile underwater, Wendy had managed to strip Dipper of his trunks as they swam around and then they noticed some runes carved into the bottom of the floor. Dipper thought he recognized them from Ford's journal and believed that they could create a portal to help get Wendy home and became excited. He needed to consult the runes to make sure that was possible and got out of the pool naked.
Mabel was horrified by the sight of her naked brother and his tiny manhood and believed she could help him with the flashlight's size changing abilities. She wasn't the only one horrified by Dipper's nakedness. Pacifica who had just arrived at the pool wearing a one piece yellow swimsuit saw the naked Dipper and got mad at him for his nudity and the way he treated her last time.
"Hey tiny ding dong put some pants on!" Said Pacifica.
Dipper got angry and shoved Pacifica out of the way to get to his bag. However as he shoved his hand into Pacifica's boobs there was was a popping sound and the boobs deflated revealing themselves to be fake. Pacifica looked down at herself in horror and to add insult to injury Wendy used her mermaid magic to create a ice pole and hook that she used to tear Pacifica's swimsuit off leaving her naked. Pacifica screamed in shock as Dipper consulted the journal. Dipper then put the journal back in his bag and headed back to the pool and Pacifica got in the way as Mabel decided to use the flashlight's power on Dipper.
Unfortunately Mabel hadn't read the full journal entry about the flashlight, because if she did she would know it had a shrinking feature on it. The light struck both Dipper and Pacifica and they were shrunk down to a couple of inches! Mabel blinked her eyes in confusion and would have tried to look for the two naked tinies, when she saw Mermando coming into work and saw a chance to work on their romantic relationship. She put the flashlight down next to her bag and raced off to Mermando.
Wendy had seen the whole thing that had happened to Dipper and Pacifica and she came out of the pool exposing her mermaid tail as she looked for the tinies, unfortunately Gideon had been watching and saw the whole thing and this gave him an idea to capture the mermaid. Gideon walked over to Mabel's bag and grabbed the flashlight. He walked towards Wendy and got her attention before he struck her with the flashlight beam and shrunk her down to six inches!
"Got me a good one!" Laughed Gideon as he pulled out a special jade colored amulet that gave him telekinesis.
Gideon used the amulet to pick Wendy up and then he grabbed a plastic water bottle drained it and shoved Wendy into it ripping her top off in the process. Wendy banged her fists against the plastic as Gideon just laughed. Gideon began to walk away with the tiny mermaid and the flashlight, unaware that Dipper and Pacifica were clinging and taking a ride on his left shoe. The tiny naked humans were on a mission to return to normal size and save Wendy. Well Dipper was anyway. Pacifica just wanted to be returned to normal size.
It was a tiny rescue mission in the making.
To be continued.
