Hey all! Had a major life change, moved across country, new career and working to become an artist so been focused on that. Things are more settled now though finally so should be back to more regular updates!
Cell had finally calmed down from his encounter with Beerus earlier. It had taken a bit of time of course, but he was now fine. Or as fine as he could be. He stood at the edge of the lookout to avoid the others. Though everyone else did seem to be giving him some space, mostly. Vegeta didn't let him too far from his sight
"Fucking bastard, dragging me into this!" He cursed Babadi to no one in particular.
"You have no one to blame but yourself, so shut up." Vegeta scoffed at him, having been close enough to at least hear him
Cell looked even more annoyed and didn't even acknowledge him as Vegeta walked next to him. He just stared into the abyss that was the sky.
"So tell me, how did you know about Beerus? As far as I know, you've only been on Earth a short while, and the others didn't know." Vegeta asked
This threw Cell off. He wasn't immediately shouting at him? Vegeta just stood there, waiting for an answer, both slowly becoming impatient with the other.
"I asked you a question!" Vegeta demanded.
"And I choose not to answer." Cell spat back.
Vegeta didn't really blame him for not answering. Still, he needed to figure something out! It had only been maybe an hour since Gohana and Goku had gone off their own respective training. There was a part of him that felt he had to train as well! But Gohana and Piccolo trusted him to keep everyone safe while they tried to get stronger. He had already sacrificed himself for his family, he would hold his pride aside to keep them safe again by giving Gohana the time she needed to possibly save them. His Saiyan pride be damned!
"I take it you have something to say." Cell stated, knowing Vegeta would not have come over just to ask about Beerus as Vegeta was still just standing there.
"Figured I'd find out if you learned anything new in the time you were dead." Vegeta said without even looking at him.
"Phfff. And why should I tell you?"
"Because we need to know how you can help us against Majin Buu. Or shall we inform Lord Beerus you refused to help."
There was a long hard silence for a few moments.
" ...I…may have picked up a few techniques."
Vegeta smirked, getting the reaction he had hoped for. He was glad he could get this reaction out of Cell, use it to make sure he didn't betray them. Then again, he was the only other one who understood the situation with Beerus as well. In a demented sort of way, he was glad at least somebody else understood the danger they were in if Beerus became unhappy.
"Piccolo and Kakarot are typically the genius's that come up with ideas. And you're part them. Shame you don't have Gohana in there as well." Vegeta spoke.
Cell could tell he was going somewhere with this, and he didn't want to have to deal with it.
"Just spit it out."
"Have you come up with any bright ideas?"
Cell looked back out off the lookout, Vegeta following his gaze. He quickly realized Cell must be keeping an eye out on Majin Buu, as he was staring where the ki signature was coming from.
"Can you really feel it?" he asked.
"I doubt you mean his ki, which of course I can you idiot! What the hell are you talking about?" Vegeta was getting annoyed.
Cell thought back to when Shin and Beerus were interacting, something they said that at first hadn't made any sense, but the more he thought about it…
When Gohana went Super Saiyan 3, his ki wasn't that far off from hers. True he was a good amount weaker than her. Add to that, she was very fatigued and badly beaten when she finally did! But the power behind her attacks had said otherwise, that she had been exponentially powerful! It was only his regeneration that kept him alive against her! He had been healing himself a lot. He almost shuddered at the thought of how powerful she'd be had she had been at one hundred percent.
"That….God ki Beerus mentioned that Gohana has. And apparently Majin Buu. For some reason we can't feel it. That is…" he stopped and looked over at Vegeta.
"A bit. Not very well yet, but I can sense Gohana typically has more than she gives off, far more. Piccolo to a smaller extent. Why do you ask? Not like I can teach you. Or would even if I understood it. I only recently started being able to barely feel it." He regretted admitting that last part.
Cell didn't care that he couldn't fully sense it, just that he could. It gave them a chance at more information.
"Majin Buu. His power alone feels astronomical. Even higher than my own. How much does he have hidden with this God ki?"
Vegeta hadn't really thought about that himself just yet either. He recognized it, back when fighting. But it was to feint, and he was to inexperienced with this 'God ki' to truly sense it. Only that it was there. But why not try now?
He closed his eyes and tried focusing. He was already tracking Buu's ki anyway. He could somewhat sense it within Piccolo and Gohana prior to the Budokai. And with that massive boost from almost dying, maybe his ability to sense it was better as well? He focused more, finding that energy he felt with Gohana.
Vegeta tensed as his eyes shot open, unable to rely answer at first. As he looked like he was about to be attacked.
"No…way….how!" He said so loudly, and his sudden reaction caused everyone who was outside to run over.
"Vegeta, what's wrong?" Krillin asked, not terribly worried about Cell at the moment.
Vegeta was still frozen, how the hell were they to fight something like that?
"Well? How much stronger is Majin Buu?" Cell shouted, knowing the others would be wondering what was going on.
"Its….everything! Just….as much…as his normal ki." Vegeta was struggling to speak
Everyone, even Cell, now looked very worried, even terrified. They could only feel half of Majin Buu's power?!
"No…how do we even stand a chance against something like that!" Tien spoke up, trying to hide his body trembling.
Cell nervously glanced over at Vegeta. He knew what they had to do.
"Do we have any of those beans of yours?" he asked glancing over at Krillin, remember how it felt taking one all those years ago.
"Huh? Yeah, plenty. Why?" Krillin asked nervously.
"We may need them."
Goku looked around him at the sudden shift in environment. He was amazed actually! He had seen many different types of places in the afterlife, but none like this!
"Wow, where are we?" Goku asked as he looked around off in the distance.
"We are at the sacred world of the Kai's." Shin answered
"Wow, it's really pretty. Air smells nice too!" Goku got a breath of the air here and it was so clean. Almost better than even home!
"Let's not waste time and hurry Goku. Follow us." Shin spoke and started flying off, Kabito close behind.
Goku easily kept up with them, even though he lagged behind even starting to fly off. Shin knew Goku was very weak compared to Gohana and Vegeta, but he had no doubts he was on the level of himself after Super Saiyan 3. But he knew it wasn't enough to matter much. The sword has to work!
"Sooo, swords really aren't my thing. Shame it wasn't a pole, I have plenty of experience from when I was a kid with my Grampa's power pole. But how exactly is it supposed to help me get stronger that normal training wouldn't?" Goku asked.
"The Z sword is legendary, and it is said however masters it will become unbeatable."
"Oh, so it's not like a quick power up? I get to actually train? What's the sword like?" Goku seemed elated he wasn't getting a freebie.
"Well, to be honest we're not sure. No one's ever been able to pull the sword from its spot." Shin answered honestly.
This didn't seem to sit well with Goku. He was used to training under masters, people stronger than himself and even those far weaker but with plenty to teach. They don't even know how this training will go? Still, with the current situation, he couldn't really complain. That and it was still training after all! So he was still excited.
It didn't tale too long until they arrived at a giant pillar of rock. Goku saw a sword just sitting there, plunged into it. He just took a long look at it.
"Huh, it doesn't seem all that special." He nonchalantly said.
"How dare you speak so ungratefully towards the-"
"Its okay Kabito. Remember, Goku doesn't know about it's legend. So it's understandable he doesn't see it the same as we do." Shin defended Goku, understanding his point of view.
"So what do I do with it?" Goku asked.
"We can start the training, but first you'll need to pull it from the stone it resides in."
"Is that all? Okay than, let's just get this going so we can-."
Goku was quickly silenced by himself when he casually tried pulling it but noticing it wouldn't budge. He quickly grabbed the hilt more readily, and started pulling with effort this time.
"Man, this thing doesn't wanna budge." Goku eventually commented.
"Just keep trying. I know you're holding back. Why not go Super Saiyan so you can start the training " Shin suggested.
"Nah, I don't need to transform to pull it put." Goku started his usual stretches, really getting serious.
"Wait, you wont go Super Saiyan? At all?" Shin was surprised. And worried!
"Nah, Gohana said getting stronger in our base form is a lot better. Super Saiyan just magnifies our strength. So of course getting stronger without transforming only makes our Super states far stronger!"
Goku took a stance and gripped the sword holt as hard as he could, and started pulling as hard as he could. Shin and Kabito watched in amazement as a single crack started forming on the ground where the sword meet it. Goku's strained grunts sounded so loud to them, they had never even seen a spec of dust move with an attempt at moving it! But he knew he needed a burst of strength without Super Saiyan. This it!
Red ki flared around Goku, the mountain starting to shatter. An with a sudden monumental burst of power, Goku pulled the sword out as the entire mountain spire it once stood embedded into crumbled beneath them as he deactivated his Kaio Ken.
"Goku, you did it! You really pulled the sword from its stoned resting place! No kai has ever been able to nudge it from the stone it sat on!" Shin was beyond excited.
"Really? Hahaha nice. Why does that sound familiar though?" Goku thought he'd heard something like that from when Chi Chi would read to Gohana as a toddler.
Goku landed with Shin and Kabito, both of them smiling happily, more so Shin.
"Alright Goku, now that that is settled, lets….huh?"
Shin and Kabito watched as they saw Goku struggle to really hold the sword at all. Just trying to angle it upward looked like it took an large amount of effort , be he was able to hold it at a ready.
"Man this thing is heavy." He started clumsily swinging it around, trying to be careful to not hurt himself.
"It can't be that heavy." Kibito commented it.
"Oh its heavy! I almost need Super Saiyan just to do anything with this thing! Now I see why whoever masters this is supposed to be unstoppable!" Goku strained to hold it out in a stance similar to the shows Gohana watched as a child.
Goku quickly dropped the sword, as the tip slammed and sliced into the ground, Goku getting a better grip as his arms visibly strained to bring it back up.
"Hey, so if this thing is supposed to help me stop Buu, will it help me get this God ki?" Goku asked as best he could with his body tensed up from the swords weight.
"No, probably not the God Ki part. You would need special training. To be honest, we never thought anyone could learn God Ki on their own without being mentored by a God for successorship."
"Wait, if no one else could have it, than how does Majin Buu have it? And even Gohana? She sure didn't seem to know who that Beerus guy." Goku asked as he set the sword down on the ground to give his muscles a slight break.
"I can only guess. But back when Majin Buu first started reading havoc, he didn't look like he does now. He was a small childish being. But he was far worse than his current state." Shin started as he glanced downward a bit, recalling that horrible time in his long life.
"He killed North and Western Supreme Kais at the time, but he absorbed the South Supreme Kai."
"Wait, absorb? You mean like Cell?" Goku asked.
"Well, to be honest I'm not sure how Cell absorbs people. But anyway, he later went on to absorb the Grand Supreme Kai. But even after we that, he didn't have traces of God ki. My hypothesis is that when they stole Gohana's ki, her early God ki triggered it within Majin Buu thanks to the Kai's he absorbed long ago. Beyond that, I have no idea."
"It would make sense. Having even a tiny bit of God Ki is far more potent than even regular Ki by an exponential amount. Gohana's may have acted as a kick start for Majin Buu to have access to it. Though I doubt he is aware of that." Kabito chimed in.
"As for how Gohana obtained it, even though you heard it as well, it seems through sheer coincidence what she was doing in her training wasn't that dissimilar to being trained for God Ki. Though not perfect or the exact method, it does seem it at least got the ball rolling in that regard. But we don't have the time to train you in it Goku. At least not until after this whole ordeal with Majin Buu is finished." He answered the question he could see on Goku's face before he even asked.
"Alright, then were do we start?" Goku asked as his tone when serious.
Sharpener sat silently in the car, leaning his head against the window as he watched the mountains pass them. It had been several days since the tournament, and the whole world was in chaos. Not just with Majin Buu, but Cell was out there. Not to mention the world was split between their reactions about Hercule lying. Of course he knew, and Hercule knew Sharpner knew.
"Sharpener, remember if anything happens, you take Erasa and get out of there. You got it?"
Sharpener was taken out of his own heads pace by Hercules worried voice.
"Huh, oh yeah. Of course. I still wish you stayed back though Erasa." He looked down at her as she clung to him.
"No way! I can't just leave you like that! Not when you're….actively going after that Buu creature!"
"To be honest I don't like it either. Why not leave this to Gohana and her friends?" May asked as she continued to drive.
"I can't just sit and do nothing while my little girl and Gohana, and her friends, all do something. I may have bent the truth to everybody. But I still gotta try anything!" Hercule sounded ashamed.
"I'm with May. Gohana and her friends are the only ones who can stop this." Erasa spoke up.
Sharpner was torn. He could understand it from both sides. Erasa and May. They couldn't fight. Well, May could fight, but only against normal humans. Technically neither could Hercule against this! Thanks to his training with Gohana, he was the strongest person in the car right now. Even Hercule knew he had grown far more powerful thanks to Gohana's training. But he couldn't let Marc go out by himself. But Erasa refused to leave him.
"Marc, sir. What do you plan on doing if we even find this Majin Buu? How are we even going to find it? he asked.
"A city went dark not too long ago. My contacts think it was Majin Buu, as the signs all fit. No damage to the city, just everyone gone. And a strange looking dwelling was soon spotted during recon." May spoke up.
"And that's where we are headed now." Hercule put his hand on some boxes next to him.
"What are those?" Erasa asked.
"Hyper dosed poison chocolates. Our….info tells us he somehow turns people into candy and eats them. So we plan to poison him." May spoke up.
Erasa had to roll the window down and stick her head out as she threw up, Sharpner also looked a bit grossed out as well, he couldn't hid it even if he wanted to. Though he didn't actually throw up.
After that, the rest of the car trip was spent in silence. Erasa kept close to Sharpner. She was to scared to he away from him. And Sharper was trying to keep his cool.
How could he not! Unlike everyone else in the car, he could sense Majin Buu! How strong he was! He was trying hard to not completely break down in front of Erasa. He glanced over at her periodically, seeing how scared she looked. He had to stay strong. Even Hercule tried to not show his fear. And he was also defenseless against Buu! At least Sharpener could potentially fly away!
'No, Gohana didn't spend her time training me for me to not give it a shot!'
18 was quickly able to find where Majin Buu was. Given his energy was easy enough to sense, it was a large beacon traveling around the world. Though she typically sensed his energy in a particular area repeatedly. So that was better a spot than any to check!
Once she got to the rough area, she noticed it wasn't a place with much of any civilization around. In a way, that was good! Less people to get hurt if a fight broke out. She could only really feel one reasonably strong energy for a human far off. She didn't think much of it though. Right now she needed to stay out of sight.
"Well, so far nothing seems weird. Should I go in for a closer look?"
18 flew towards the small, weird looking house. Outside, it looked like, a weird toy house? Almost reminded her of a cross between one of Marron's toys and a robot bug thing. Whatever was inside of it must really be horrific.
18 cautiously made her way into the house. She expected the worse, but to her shock it looked almost, normal? Well as normal as could be. Everything seemed to be made out of the same stuff, but she could clearly see a table, a rather large chair. There even seemed to be a tub.
'This looks straight out of one of Marron's cartoons.' She though
She quickly glanced over, feeling Buu starting to move. Though it seems he was not coming straight towards her. She still had some time though. She wasn't even sure what to do next. The Lookout was also in a different direction than his new flight path. With a sigh, 18 thought maybe she should just find a place to hide and relax.
She glanced over the other way and was able to make out a car coming towards them. It was still a ways off bit it was clearly coming this way. She didn't want to really bother with anything so she just flew over to the nearby mountains that were next to Buu's, house?
She found a small indented area she could rest in. She didn't bring much with her, just a Capsule with some thing to do if she got really bored. But she was glad that she didn't need to worry about food or sleep. Just water, and she had several gallons in bottles just in case this took a while.
Starting to meditate to at least pass the time, she was almost immediately pulled out if it when she heard the car come to a stop right outside.
'Who the heck would be dumb enough to come out here?' she thought to herself and went to investigate., making sure to stay out of sight.
The car stopped next to the house, as the door opened with Hercule stepping out first. Sharpner and May were right behind him. Though Hercule looked nervous, he knew he was outmatched, and had no chance. But he had to so something! His daughter was still out there! And even Gohana was probably out there! A almost eighteen year old girl was out there fighting!
But he had recalled how Gohana told him that his bravery, as simple as it sounded to just throw a head, was what saved them all in the end against Cell. He may not be able to fight this threat either! But he at least wanted to try helping in his own way again.
"Do you think Majin Buu is close?" Erasa nervously looked around as she was only halfway out of the car.
Sharpner looked off, Hercule and May noticing this and looking off as well, confused as they didn't see anything.
"No, he seems to be pretty far off. Though…it feels like he's moving really fast. Its…hard to get a decent track on him cuz of that." Sharpner said after a few moments of focusing. He may still be learning, but he had really enjoyed learning to sense Ki in particular.
"Wait, I don't see anything." Hercule asked confused, trying to even squint to see something he was maybe missing.
"Huh? Oh, sorry sir. It's his ki I'm following, I can't actually see him."
"You're…feeling it?" he still didn't know how ki worked.
"Yeah, since everyone has Ki, you can feel it if you know how. So I can feel Majin Buu. Its…."Sharpner looked down.
Everyone was now looking at him, being the only ki user right now among them.
"Its overwhelming. Almost like the entire weight of the planet is bearing down on me when I feel it." Sharpener tried explaining it in a way that the others might understand. Other than a 'weird pressure', he didn't know how else to explain it to them anyway.
"How can an evil being like that exist." Erasa sounded nervous.
"That's the weird part." Sharpner started and looked back out.
"What's weird." May asked.
"His ki…it….doesn't feel like that. Like when Cell arrived at the tournament grounds, that feeling if evil was so overwhelming. And that other weird energy I felt shortly after Gohana and her friends fighting as well. But this." He tried thinking of a way to put it, bit he felt hesitant saying it
"Come on Sharpner, spit it out." May could tell he didn't want to say it.
"I don't know. It honestly almost reminds me of how Goten and Raina's ki in a way. " He finally got out after a long pause.
"What!? How could you compare that monster to Goten and Raina?" Erasa nearly shouted at him.
"What? No I mean…I don't know how to explain it other than it just feels more like a child than a monster."
"Monster or child, it doesn't change the fact he's killing people. Innocent people." May finally spoke up.
"Sharpner, do you think Gohana and the others can handle this?" Hercule finally asked.
"To be honest, I can't tell. I mean, I haven't felt Gohana fighting for a few days now, but I can easily feel Buu."
"Do you always keep tabs on people energy or something?" May asked, still trying to grasp the whole ki thing since the attack on the manor. Almost considering asking Videl, or Gohana, to train her as well.
"Well it kinda depends really. If it's just passive energy I do have to actually be looking for it. At least at rest. Typically stronger ki signatures would stand out more readily. But a output like Gohana, it was almost like I couldn't not feel it."
18 just watched them. She couldn't quiet hear them, but she did recognize them. Well, she obviously recognized Hercule. But she was fairly certain those were Gohana's friends. She could even sense Sharpner wasn't an ordinary human anymore. Should she go over and get them out of here? No! Piccolo gave her a job to do. Keep am eye on Buu, and don't engage or get caught! Speaking of Buu, she glanced over, getting a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach.
'He's on his way here.' She though, glancing back at the group and reaching out to Piccolo.
Cell just continued to glance out over the edge of the lookout. Vegeta was busy meditating off near one of the trees. He could feel him randomly raising and lowering his ki, what was he doing? He noticed that Raina was also with him surprisingly. He was in a way glad he was being left alone though.
Still, it wasn't helping any bit! Buu was still flying around causing mayhem. Though it did seem less sporadic. He kept going to a similar rough area. Maybe he was settling there to plan his next move?
No. Be wasn't planning anything. That blob was empty in the head, how could he have a plan.
"How could you!?" he heard someone shouting behind him suddenly.
He looked back and noticed an angry looking Chi Chi glaring up at him. Of course he didn't sense her coming up, she was so weak.
"Excuse me?" Cell demanded.
"How could you do what you did to my little girl!" she screamed.
"Listen woman," he started and actually turned around, glaring down at Chi Chi, arms still crossed, "I don't take to kindly being talk at like that. Let alone being accused of something I didn't do."
"Didn't do? DIDNT DO!? My Gohana was nearly sliced in half because of you! Not to mention you could have killed Raina!" Chi Chi screamed. She had been holding this in for a while now.
"I may have done that to Gohana as I have a personal matter with her. But don't you dare lump me into what that idiot Dabura did! I'm not stupid enough to make that mistake again!" Cell spat back at him. He saw it as a personal insult he was accused of nearly killing Raina.
"Don't you dare lie to me! Do you really think I'm scared of you!" Chi Chi slapped Cell across his face.
Cell just stood there, dumbfounded! Did she really just slap him? Him! The perfect being? It was obvious Chi Chi hurt her palm slightly, he didn't keep his guard down much like Goku had when he was slapped.
The others around were very quickly afraid of what was about to happen, though it seemed Cell was in too much surprise of what just happened to even do anything. They were almost as dumbstruck as Cell.
"Mom, it wasn't him." Raina had quickly made her way over to them, scared Cell might retaliate towards her.
"See that? Even the one who you accuse me of trying to kill backs me up." Cell almost taunted her.
"Don't you get smart with me!" Chi Chi shouted back..
"Chi Chi, calm the hell down. " Vegeta had also made his way towards her.
"As much as I hate to admit it, Cell is telling the truth. He didn't hurt Raina, or Goten. At least not willingly."
"What do you mean Vegeta?" Chi Chi, at least talking more calmly but still very much annoyed, glared at Vegeta.
"Back at the Cell Games, he tried bringing out Gohana's Super Saiyan 2 power by threatening to kill us. Which technically he was trying to do anyway.." He glared at Cell, who smirked back.
"Needless to say it worked at his demise. But when Babadi ordered him and Dabura to kill the children, it was almost like he was terrified and trying to resist that order! And even looked angry and terrified when Gohana thought Raina was dead."
"I already learned my lesson last time! Why would I risk pissing off a emotional Saiyan teenager?" he spat at Chi Chi.
"Mom, really it was that pink demon man that almost killed me. And besides," Raina looked up at Cell, "right now he's helping us."
"Don't get it confused, brat! I'm only helping because Beerus threatened me existence!" he turned back and looked over the edge once again, trying to hide his nervousness.
Chi Chi at least having said her peace, huffed and walked off. She still didn't trust Cell one bit! He killed Goku. He almost killed Gohana. So what if he wasn't the one who almost killed Goten and Raina.
Cell noticed that Raina and Vegeta remained. They were just staring at him.
"Leave me the hell alone, or out with it." he demanded.
"So lets assume for a moment that we get through this. What next?" Vegeta calmly asked.
"I have my fight with Gohana, on my terms. No mind control. No magic."
"And what happens after?" Vegeta followed up.
Cell stood there for a moment, what would he do afterwards? Thanks to Babadi reviving him, he didn't have to return to hell. He could do anything he wanted!
"I take it from your resounding silence that you have no idea." Vegeta mocked.
"Shut up Vegeta! Like you're to one lecture me, the lonely Prince of nothing!" Cell looked visibly annoyed.
Vegeta couldn't help but almost laugh at Cell's pathetic excuse of a comeback. Himself and Frieza inside him and that was the best he came up with? A simple imitation of Frieza?
"Oh, and that's where you're wrong Cell. I'll continue to get even stronger with Gohana. In fact, you can thank her for making me strong enough that even right now I can kill you!" He smirked, deciding to not admit to Cell the other reason.
"And you'll stand there, useless."
Cell was starting to get annoyed more than ever, and just looked down at Raina who was just staring at him.
"What the hell do you want!" he barked at her.
"You're not as scary as everyone says. Why not be our friend instead." She flatly stated.
This caused Cell to visibly tense, and Vegeta noticed this reaction. Granted he knew that Goten and Raina probably never got told the true horror Cell inflicted on everybody. As far as he knew from his conversations with Gohana, he was a foe that managed to kill their dad. Then again at one point so did almost everyone here. So it made sense she wasn't that scared of him, especially after hearing her interactions prior with him where when he was mind controlled.
"Listen you little brat, I will not be-"
He suddenly cut off and glanced over at the building. Vegeta and Raina looked over, expecting to maybe see something.
"And why the hell should I!" he suddenly shouted out for no reason, confusing both Vegeta and Raina. Even everyone else close to them was suddenly surprised at Cell's sudden outburst. Noticing he suddenly my looked scared and nervous.
Cell was very annoyed now and just glarred over at Krillin.
"How many more beans do we have?" he asked.
"Senzu? Uh I think about twenty honestly. Why?" he asked a bit confused, and nervous.
"Twenty, huh?" he just stood there for a moment.
He walked over to Krillin, still very much visibly annoyed, but no one seemed to feel it directed at them.
"Fifteen will do." he held out his hand.
Krillin looked at his hand a bit confused, not sure why he would ask for any. Why would he even give them to him? Sure for the time being, he was on their side. But still!
"Why do you need them?" Tien finally spoke up.
"Because I'm supposed to bring fifteen and join Gohana and Piccolo for some God forsaken reason."
"Oh no you don't! I already don't approve of you being here already! I will not have you in that time chamber alone with my daughter, who you already tried killing!" Chi Chi screamed at him.
"Honestly I'm a bit untrusting of this as well. Just what the hell is going through your thick head?" Vegeta asked, though more curious than angry.
"Either I go in willing with the beans or Gohana will tear my head off, destroy my body and force me to regenerate in the time chamber! I can regenerate but it still fucking hurts. Now give me the damn beans!" Cell screamed, before regaining his composure, slightly, and held his hand back out.
Krillin looked over at Vegeta, who just nodded at him. He could tell Cell genuinely didn't want to even go in but had no choice. That, and well Gohana was already vast stronger than Cell, she could kill him easily.
"I'm guessing Piccolo was talking with you telepathically." Krillin put it together, handing him the beans.
"Yes, and lovely threat of violence from her as well."
Videl and Chi Chi were both a bit surprised it was Gohana that threatened him, not Piccolo. Granted Videl it didn't surprise her that much. She had seen her anger get the better of her in certain situations, this seemed to fit. Chi Chi seemed more shocked about the threat though.
"Why you and not Vegeta? You're both about the same. Assuming Vegeta doesn't have that God ki we can't sense. " Tien spoke up.
"Again I don't know. I'm already reluctantly going in with my head still on my shoulders." Cell answered back and took the beans as he started walking towards the building.
"I don't know about this Vegeta. I mean, I know for now we're on the same side of this fight. But I don't like this one bit." Krillin said after a few moments.
"I doubt Gohana or Piccolo would do this without a good reason. Besides, Gohana absolutely despises Cell! She wouldn't agree to have him be there without a good reason." Videl vouched for whatever Gohana and Piccolo had in mind. Even if she also was a bit unsure about it.
"I'm starting to see why Gohana bonded with you." Vegeta remarked as he went back to where he was earlier causing Videl to blush nervously.
Cell closed the door as he entered the chamber. He still had no idea why he was being dragged into this chamber either. He glanced over at the surroundings to see what it was like inside. It seemed so bland and drab. Just white everywhere! He honestly liked it a bit.
"Took you long enough." Piccolo made himself known to Cell, holding his hand out expectantly.
Cell didn't want to waste time bickering and just handed him the beans, Piccolo adding them to a small sack of more Senzu. They already had some? Why did he need o bring more? And why was he here anyway?
"Now, do you mind telling me why I had to come in here? And it better not be to bring you Senzu beans. Which you already had some!"
"You're going to help me train Gohana. Majin Buu isn't slowing down with Babadi dead. And I'd rather speed this along. Even if we could stay in the chamber longer. Resources are our time limit. And we're running low… these extra beans may only get us through maybe another month until we're forced to exit."
"You expect me to train with her? It's bad enough I have to fight alongside you lot! And why not Vegeta?"
"Because Vegeta would need food which were already too low. And he can't regenerate. That and you're stolen Saiyan DNA will help you catch up faster than I can. And she already knows mine and Vegeta's fighting style too well. So when it comes to her physical training, you're going to be her sparring partner." Piccolo brought him up to speed.
He glanced over behind Piccolo, noticing slight movement. Gohana was sleeping on the bed behind them. Too soundly for his liking. Still, getting to fight her did sound somewhat fun. Not that he had a choice anyway what with the threat of being erased by Beerus should he not help. What choice did he even have in l this.
"She must be really desperate to ask me of l people to train with her."
Piccolo just smirked as he let out a soft chuckle.
"And what is so funny about that?" Cell asked.
"Who said anything about Gohana knowing about this?"
