Chapter 2 I Want to See Her
Luke's POV

I was sitting under a tree on top of a hill that overlooked the Last Town. Ever since the voids had been defeated and all of the Soul Futures were restored, the people of the town no longer had to deal with the hardships that they once endured. Thinking about this brought a smile to my face. But then…that smile faded away when I thought about the person who brought about that peace.

"Luke", I heard a familiar voice call out to me. I then turned around, and saw Unio coming up to me with QJ, Memmeln, Destiny and Justice.

"What are you all doing here", I asked them.

"We were looking for you", Unio replied. "I know that you like to come up here a lot, so I figured this is where you'd be."

"What were you thinking about, Luke", QJ asked me.

"I was thinking about how nice it is that the people of the Last Town get to know this peace", I revealed.

"It sure is", Destiny agreed happily. "And it's all thanks to Nachan!"

"Yes, it is", I agreed. Then, the smile dropped from my face. "I wish she could've been here to see it."

"Me too", Destiny replied sadly.

"Luke", Memmeln started as she came up to me. "Have you been able to find any information on the Kingdom of Reality?"

"Nothing", I replied as I shook my head. "I searched through many books in the library, as well as looked over every map I could get my hands on, but non of them mention the Kingdom of Reality."

"Is there really no information on the Kingdom of Reality", Destiny asked sadly.

"Maybe it doesn't even exist", Justice suggested.

"It has to", I exclaimed. Then, I stood up and walked up to the group. "Natsuko had to have come here from somewhere. And she had to returned to somewhere after she disappeared."

"Yeah", Unio said. "But Luke, if you can't find literally information on the Kingdom of Reality, then what are you going to do?"

"I…I don't know", I admitted. "But I'm not giving up! Even if it takes my entire life to do so, I will go to the Kingdom of Reality! I will see Natsuko again!"

I want to see her again.

"Luke", Unio said as he looked at me in shock.

"What is it", I asked. I then looked to my side…and saw a ball of energy forming right next to me! As soon as I saw it, I jumped as far away from it as I could. Then…I watched as the ball of energy transformed into a portal.

"What is that", I asked in confusion.

"It's a portal", QJ pointed out. Then…he smiled widely. "Perhaps it's a portal to the Kingdom of Reality?!"

"Really", I asked hopefully.

"It must be, Luke", Destiny stated. "After all, it appeared right after you were talking about wanting to go to the kingdom of reality and see Nachan!"

"I don't know", Unio said with uncertainty. "That's kind of a stretch, isn't it? I mean, what if it's actually a portal to a super bad place?!"

After Unio brought up this concern, I began thinking about what I should do. Then…I thought about Natsuko, and my mind was made up.

"That is a risk I am willing to take", I said.

"What", Unio exclaimed in shock.

"Luke, are you sure", Memmeln asked me in concern.

"I am", I replied.

"That's incredibly risky and stupid", Justice pointed out. "You know that, right Luke?"

"I don't care", I admitted. "If going through this portal has even a small chance of getting me to the Kingdom of Reality, then that is a chance I am willing to take. I told Natsuko I would find her. I want to see her again!"

For a moment, nobody said anything to me. Then…Unio let out a frustrated sigh. "Man, that gremlin's got you totally whipped, doesn't she Luke? Well, if you're going to the Kingdom of Reality, then I'm going too!"

"Unio", I said, touched by his words. "Are you sure?"

"Don't you remember, Luke", Unio asked me. "We said that, once the world was at peace, and you didn't have to be the great hero anymore, we'd go off somewhere together. We said we'd see a bunch of things we'd never seen before. If the Kingdom of Reality is just as weird as Natsuko is, then there's gotta be a bunch of unique stuff over there!"

"Unio", I said. Then, I smiled at him. "Unio, thank you for always being by my side."

After I said this, tears started forming in Unio's eyes, but he tried to hide it. "It's…it's nothing."

"Luke", Memmeln started. "I'll go the Kingdom of Reality too."

"You will", I asked in shock.

"Yes", Memmeln replied, before smiling. "Sir Exister comes from the Kingdom of Reality too, right? Just like you want to see Natsuko again, I want to see him again!"

"If you are all going, then I'll go too", QJ added. "Natsuko gave us our 'happy ending.' So let's go thank her for that!"

"Everyone, thank you", I said.

"You four be careful now, you hear", Justice instructed us.

"You're not coming with, Justice", I asked.

"Nah", Justice replied. "I've got stuff to do here."

"Plus, the children will miss Jaschan if they leave", Destiny said, which made Justice's cheeks turn pink. "Luke, when you see Nachan, make sure to say hi to her for me!"

"I will, Destiny", I said, before looking at Justice. "Justice, don't cause any trouble for Destiny, you hear?"

"Yeah, yeah. I won't", Justice reassured me. "Now you all get going before the portal closes!"

With this…we all turned around to face the portal.

"Everyone, are you all ready", I asked.

"Ready", everyone replied.

"Then, four of the Nine Soldiers, to the Kingdom of Reality!", I commanded. Then…we walked through the portal.

I'm coming Natsuko. Wait for me.
