"Hey!" Jayfeather's screech could be heard throughout the small apartment, as Lionblaze leapt over the sofa, "Give it back!"

Lionblaze looked down at the paper coffee cup in his hands. Jayfeather chased him round and round the collection of armchairs that were forming a semi-circle around the TV. Lionblaze glanced over his shoulder, "I need coffee! I'll die without it!"

"Well then I'm doing myself a favour by taking it back," Jayfeather snatched the cup out of his brother grasp, and the lid flew off, the coffee inside it spilling all over the clean, white rug, "Now look what you've done!"

"What I've done?" Lionblaze threw his hands up, "That was you!"

"Was not! If you hadn't stolen from-" Jayfeather was cut off by the sound of keys jingling outside their front door.

"Fox Dung! Hollyleaf's home! She'll kill us!" Lionblaze visibly panicked, trying to cover up the stain with cushions and blankets.

"Don't do that!" Jayfeather exclaimed, "You know how much she hates mess! That'll make it worse!"

"How does that make it worse!?" Lionblaze quickly paced around the room, as Jayfeather grabbed the edges of the rug, "And what the hell are you doing?"

"Turn over the rug! She won't notice the stain that way," Jayfeather said, clearing the cushions off the side of the fabric.

"Thank God! What would I do without you?!" Lionblaze cried, and helped Jayfeather flip over the rug. Hollyleaf walked in as the door was flung open. She glanced at the rug, which was oddly slanted, and visibly the wrong-side-up.

"What happened here?" she frowned, rushing over to the rug, and turning it over. Her eyebrows shot up her forehead as she spotted the stained part of the fabric, and she turned around to look at her two brothers, disapprovingly, "You need to be more careful! This was an expensive rug! What did you think you were doing! Clean this up! Now!"

"Okay, mum," Jayfeather grumbled under his breath. Lionblaze growled at her, before walking over to the kitchen cupboard, searching for the cleaning supplies.

...

Hollyleaf sighed as she entered Jayfeather and Lionblaze's room. Of course, Jayfeather's side was completely tidy, his desk strewn with papers and books, and his clothes folded neatly in a draw. Jayfeather was a psychic. Although he was 22 years old, he was taking an online course in Philosophy. He didn't enjoy it, but Hollyleaf had insisted, as he'd skipped college to pursue his psychic abilities. Jayfeather was blind, but he seemed to move perfectly, as if he could really what was in front of him. If people asked, he'd always say it was the spirits guiding him. Usually, that would make them leave him alone.

Lionblaze's side of the room was messy. His clothes were littered across the room, his computer on the pillow of his bed. Lionblaze worked in a bar. Which was in his sibling's favour, as he always managed to get them a free drink. He played football in his spare time, well, if he wasn't at the gym, or lounging around at home with five tubs of ice cream. Lionblaze was the youngest of the three at 21 years old. His hair was golden. It was dyed, and originally plain brown.

Hollyleaf was 23- the oldest. She was an artist, but she worked part-time at a nearby supermarket. She loved writing, drawing and music- pretty much anything creative. Most of her time was spent tidying and taking care of her brothers, making sure they're not doing anything stupid.

...

The door opened. Jayfeather turned around. He was sat on the sofa, watching TV with Lionblaze, and he quickly paused it when he saw Briarlight, his girlfriend, by the door. Willowshine came in after her, leaving the door wide open as she searched for Hollyleaf. Briarlight sat down on the sofa next to Jayfeather, clutching a couple of plastic cups filled with liquid.

"A new bubble tea store opened up next to the store Hollyleaf works at! I got one for you! They are amazing! You have to try it!" she grinned excitedly at him.

"Well, I guess I have to, seems as though you've already bought it," he replied, taking the cup from her, "But if this is rubbish, I'm blaming you for wasting my time."

Briarlight didn't reply. She just leaned over and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, before pressing play on the remote.

...

Hollyleaf heard the door to the bedroom open as she folded the last of Lionblaze's clothes.

"Hey," an instantly recognisable voice rang through the room, "I got you bubble tea!"

"Thanks, Willowshine!" Hollyleaf turned around. Her girlfriend was stood at the door, two cups in her hands. She gave one to Hollyleaf, and they wandered into the front room where everyone else was, sitting down on one of the armchairs together.

"Hey!" Lionblaze whined, "How come you guys get your girlfriends and I don't! Where's mine?!"

"Here she is!" Cinderheart flung the door open, holding one bubble tea, and one coffee. Lionblaze leapt up, and greeted her with a kiss, taking the coffee from her hand, "Thanks, love."

They joined Briarlight and Jayfeather on the couch, and Lionblaze slung his arm around his girlfriend's shoulder. Jayfeather frowned, "There was coffee? How come I didn't one?"

"You need to try new things!" Briarlight laughed, "Plus, the coffee shop was another ten minutes away. I don't know why Cinderheart went that far for this idiot," she gestured to Lionblaze.

Cinderheart crossed her arms and spoke up before Lionblaze could "It's because I love him! I don't know why you didn't go that far Jayfeather."

"Shut up! Me and Willowshine are trying to watch the movie!" Hollyleaf snapped at them, shutting them up.

"What even is this anyway?" Cinderheart broke the silence.

"Some weird romance film Hollyleaf was watching the other day," Jayfeather responded.

"Hollyleaf chose this? Yeah, I'm out of here!" Briarlight stood up, Jayfeather quickly following, keeping pace with her as she limped over to the door (Briarlight had gotten a limp when a tree fell on top of her, but it didn't make her any less able). They grabbed their coats and swiftly closed the door behind them as they exited.

Hollyleaf is bi. Don't question my decision. I've just been obsessed with Newtmas lately, so there had to be a same-sex relationship in this. Haha. Hah. Ha... I don't know a thing about psychics, so I'm wishing myself good luck with that. Anyway, what do you think? Reviews are appreciated. Of course they are. They always are. Except if they're annoying reviews. That's annoying...
