Junk Syncron reeled as its poor optics tried to find something steady to focus on before settling itself on the ground while the hands that had caught it released it. The first thing that managed to process was the vibrant garden stretching as far as it could scan. While it would have been very fair, maybe actually accurate, to call it a field of flowers, nature didn't work like 'this'.
A field of flowers never had mathematical formation, more the irrational spots of colors that would blend into another field. Here the colors all had a seeming place and bled no where, be them vibrant reds, purples, pinks or yellows, if it was 'a' color it was just that color. Shifting neatly enough into the next one that logic described this as a garden. Someone had clearly put these flowers in predesignated positions. But for all that, there was no path for a human to walk. It turned left and right, scanning all along but there was no visible path. All the while too orderly to be nature at work...
So with no other recourse it turned to look at its rescuer.
It was a she. An angel type Duel Spirit with a rose red color aesthetic even in her wings, with only her sun tanned skin, the black lines that traced down her face and ended in points just above her jaw bone and... really she was equipped to look a great deal like Aki with the rose and ruffles design.
"Where did you come from? I haven't seen a machine spirit in my garden for years."
"Query BEEP, who are you? BEEP where am I?" Junk Syncron asked as its eyes blinked to wipe away any potential blurring pollen.
"Well I'm the Queen Angel of Roses, and this is my memorial garden to my partner. And you are?" She folded her hands and pressed them onto her knees as she bent down to study Junk's face more closely.
Junk blinked as it processed her face before answering, "BEEP Junk Syncron. BEEP you have a nice garden."
"Thank you, she deserved it, she deserved a lot more than just a garden though..." The spirit smiled sadly before straightening up.
The answer did explain why Junk saw no paths given Queen had wings, she likely never walked just flew over the garden.
"Well I need to start my watering, some flowers are very particular, do you want to come with me? Its been so long since I had company," Queen invited as a watering can appeared in her hands.
Junk was at a loss though, it was supposed to study the other side of the cut, but it had been knocked off course... "BEEP, Query. Do you know how I got here?"
"Oh you fell out of that cut in the sky. It was actually interesting..." Queen noted as she pointed to the slit she saw him fall out of. "Right as you were falling this... wind I guess, brushed across the area and all the cuts here just got puffed into well-l..." She released the watering can long enough to make a dismissive gesture with her free hand. As though she was brushing away some inconsequential thing.
"BEEP I see... Performing scan." Junk announced as it began checking the area for the other cuts. It wasn't really logical for cuts in the sky to just get blown about like that. Paper could yes, and paper could be cut yes, but this? The cuts scanned were distant and it wasn't able to really say which corresponded with the ones back home. Though it locked in the coordinates so it knew where to go for the cut that lead home. But it brought another question to its mind, causing it to scan the area for the now departed Queen Angel. She wasn't far, at what appeared to be the focus of the memorial garden.
"BEEP Query. Were the cuts always here?" Junk asked as it brought its gaze onto Queen then slipped it towards the memorial that the flowers were growing up and around.
"No, they just appeared out of no where." She stopped watering to study the robot. "Are you saying you know what made them?"
But Junk wasn't prioritizing its audio receptors anymore, instead its eyes were fixed on the memorial, what the dawn glow didn't reveal technology did.
:Here rests the Beloved Martyr Fudo Yusei joined with his Thornless Rose, Izayoi Aki if only...:

Indifferently the sun continued to rise as everyone grew as silent as their surroundings. It was almost painfully silent as they tried not to let their eyes whip from Junk Syncron to the aforementioned pair. It was hard not to though, the desire was there as well as a desire to reach over and make sure they were alive. Jack and Crow felt as though they had been gut punched out of nowhere, alarmed and dismayed. Yusei was their brother after all. At the same time, Aki was Yusei's girl so the subtle feeling of looking after their new 'sister' was stopped by that quiet acknowledgment. Asuka began yanking at her leg trying to get up out the ashes to go to Aki in solidarity, nearly falling on her face.
Fubuki was by her side thus grabbing at her shoulder so she could stand steady before giving her his arm to counterbalance with. Yet even as she began pulling again, she watched as the twins threw caution about the ashes to the wind. They crawled as much as they stumbled while they began crying out to their big brother and sister in this panicked form of desperation.
Ancient Fairy swooped down and caught the twins up in her front paws thus cradling the pair to her. Yet even as they grabbed onto her, they reached for Yusei and Aki with this aching desperation that sent Fairy down to the pair in hopes of calming the twins in her arms. She felt the pair get pulled away as Rua began to openly cry. A sound that made her heart ache as she gazed at the dawn. The twins were up too long and she could only worry it was making them more emotional...
Yusei exchanged concerned looks with Aki as the twins clung to them, already uncertain of how to comfort the pair.
"We're here..." Aki pointed out gently as she hugged Ruka close.
"Junk says you're dead... he said you're 'dead'!" Rua countered as his voice cranked up into a mounting childish wail.
"No we're not, we're here Rua," Yusei countered as he also hugged Rua to him.
Ryo stood there brooding as he studied the pair, while they dealt with the twins.
'A Martyr and thornless. Calling Aki 'thornless' might be an insult in some instances, but given it was paired with 'Beloved Martyr' suggests to me that it was a compliment. But it wouldn't fit...' Junk had been so rattled by the words it hadn't bothered to scan further down to check the dates. More over it was the weirdness of this Queen Angel of Roses. The fact that they hadn't seen any robot spirits and were a 'rose' themed Spirit could have suggested anyone. Until the memorial stone was read. But Aki's partners were Witch of the Black Rose and Black rose Dragon. Could Aki replace Witch in the future given that Black Rose was a duel spirit manifestation of Aki's past self?
"I can't imagine Aki replacing Witch," Ryo began quietly and Kazu nodded in answer.
"Also Witch started out very protective and hostile to anyone who got close to Aki, but Queen sounds well mannered and patient. only I can't imagine Aki just abandoning Witch for another spirit...?"
It was a good point, because there was always the option that something 'happened' to Witch and Queen came into the picture later in life...
"Its also backwards. Aki going from aggressive with Witch then fully passive and getting Queen. If anything, Aki would start out passive and have Queen then turn aggressive getting Witch." Ryo noted in agreement.
"So are they dealing with time travel or dimensional..." Fubuki pondered aloud as he joined the other two guys.
"The cuts had just moved, and Fairy reported the same, that something has tossed the cuts away..." Ryo acknowledged as he turned to let his gaze travel the distance that Ancient Fairy had pointed out for them, even though he couldn't obviously see them. "But the idea that they need to jump through dimensions and or time itself..."
"They're Dragons," Kazu reminded him in a casual tone. "Man its like they have to be super heroes or something..."
"While we get to deal with two highly violent duel spirits while not being able to summon duel spirits ourselves." Fubuki pointed out with a twist of the lips that was meant to be more a confident smile than it was.

"Ngh... noooo..." Jesse began to strain in his bed as he started to try and thrash but the cuffs kept him restrained
Carly rocketed up from her seat, her attention torn from the movie showing on the tv, back to Jesse in his bed. The teen looked trapped in a nightmare, his face scrunched up in a stressed way. He began fighting the cuffs on his wrists as he slowly started to thrash about seemingly trapped in some nightmare. Concerning Carly all the while that she debated if she needed to call the Security into the room or the nurses...
But as she rushed to the bed, his expression eased, and where it had been this neutral expression twisting into terror only to relax as he began to smile.

Yubel shrieked in delicious agony as something washed over them and flicks of darkness sparked in their eyes. They clung to their Light, but this only drove the darkness to greater scoop of pain and Yubel was all in for it.
Of Course falling to the ground writhing in pain suddenly and with no obvious reason was alarming even to someone like Trueman. Who began to scan the area around them in mounting alarm. Only the glow of light from Yubels own energy got him to move quickly to get out of the way. They were laughing in this madden way while trying to push themselves to their feet. Defiant and swaying with their wings unfurled digging into the ashen ground.
"What is going on Yubel? What's come over you?" Trueman backed off several steps as he continued studying Yubel. The lashed out light they were hurling wasn't showing any reasoning beyond the fact that they could. A blast rocketed off directionless, yet worryingly he watched as the Light, this pure form of corruption began to fracture. The blast, for an instant, appeared to become like crystal or glass and fractured in the same way. With jagged shards of darkness that raced down towards Yubel, cracking and breaking chunks away.
It wasn't his masters' Darkness...
Yet while Trueman was captivated and worried by the strange behavior of Yubel's power, Judai was not.
Horror filled the teenager as he got to his feet in alarm, the ash he was covered in became a blessing as it helped hide him. Covered in ashe made it slightly easier to crawl away on the ground as the landscape had this surreal quality to it. It was writhing in his vision, when his hands pressed on the ground maggots wiggled outward. While ahead of him, he could see the Momentum building standing like a rock solid foundation against the terror consuming him. Dawn was pushing the shadows away, light returning to the world! Yet all this time trapped in that white void that Yubel had subjected himself and Jesse to was not a comfort. Watching the darkness leave created an keening ache in him.
Thankfully though, the Dragons were in the retreating darkness so he could chase it all he wanted. Over the mounds and barely there hills of ash. A guilt began to consume him as he recognized this as damage Yubel had done. Remembering, recognizing that Yubel was his Partner and he had failed to control them, though actually. He had 'hurt' them. That trip to space didn't help broaden Yubel's perspective it had twisted his overprotective partner into...
Into...
Tears leaked down his face, an overwhelming desire to sob consumed him. Yet somehow he found the strength to hold back. Sobbing would make it harder to warn, speak, harder to warn.
He failed to 'control' Yubel...
Realization made the weight in his heart stronger as he struggled through the ashes desperate to reach the others. He could still see it...
The looming eye.
Judai didn't know how it suddenly struck him what was staring down at them. It wasn't just a looming strip of darkness, that would have been better. A large open void ready to devour the universe because SCIENCE was nice.
In Judai's mind was no lovely portal ready to suck the universe to its final doom.
It was...

"A giant snake..."
Yusei looked floored at the description, which was a lot for Yusei, but Judai's explanation when he staggered into the group was intense.
Massive, with three tones of scales, gold into red into dark blue, with a patch on the back that matched those colors but wrapped around the center. A flaming mane that sparked jagged lightning on either side of this head. The eyes were open, and the mouths, yes MOUTHS two of them, were opening and clearly independent of each other.
With the planet a speck on the 'wall' next to the great snake!
"So... you want us to believe, that there's a giant snake out in space, and we're literally on its wall..." Fubuki was trying to fathom this image, he could envision this monstrosity. Televisions and movies made that possible, yet for it to be real and facing them... Or rather facing away...
"So we're literally an inconsequential speck in the universe..." Kazu bemoaned as his head sank down.
Everyone froze at the comment. Perhaps someone else in the world would have laughed it off, countered that Judai was making it up or insane, delusional something. But when God literally answered, could step down from outside of time and answer your questions? Where was the line? Where was sanity, reality, and grounded facts when God could just rewrite history? Create worlds on a whim, and bring the dead back to life?
"No, we're not," Yusei automatically with a sharp tone. "Yugi came here, he's tried to help us out, that's proof enough. Judai described the colors of the three God Cards that Yugi has, and that mane sounds more like his hair if it was on a snake. He said before he doesn't know where his home 'is', there is no reason to believe that the snake isn't a version of him that's lost. For all we know he turns into that now when he takes a nap."
"Ok, I'm scared." Zalinka finally announced as Ryu shook his head.
"Uncle wouldn't let that happen so don't be. Uncle is Uncle Yugi's General, the God Set doesn't have a snake form true, however; he sent Blue Eyes here that means he's active. No, Captain, said the mouths were moving. God doesn't need to breath, we use 'breath of life' as an allegory more often than not." Ryu looked about and beyond into the distance. "The portals that connect us to the Spirit world are coming undone and the cuts here got blown away. 'Blown away' as if he breathed, he probably opened his mouths to take a breath..."
"But if it was so passive why did Judai wake up scared out of his mind?" Momoe asked nervously. "Sure big snake get scared... But why?"
