Robert lay on his side on the sun lounger, and Cora lay next to him on her sun lounger. He studied her sleeping face. They had an amazing honeymoon in the Maldives. Robert booked them a residence at Milaidhoo. They had access to a private beach and swimming pool. They had been here for two weeks, tomorrow would be the last full day and he wished they could stay longer. He had not seen Cora in such a relaxed state of mind before.

Her mouth formed a smile, and Robert would love to know what she was dreaming about. He loved looking at her. Her small nose slightly bent upwards, her perfectly formed eyes, her long lashes resting on her cheekbone. He loved everything about her, and how lucky he was to call her, his wife. Her dark curls were in a low ponytail, but there had been some curls that escaped and rested on her cheek. He could not suppress the urge to put it behind her ear.

Cora moaned softly, her eyelids blinking rapidly. "Is it time for dinner already?" She said while stretching.

"Almost, not yet," Robert answered. "I am sorry for waking you up." He watched how she turned on her back and stretched some more, she was wearing a very loose-fitting short dress, and her bum had barely been covered when she lay on her side. He could just not get enough of her and her body.

"That is alright, I prefer being awake before it is time to go for dinner." She turned her head towards Robert. He was in his shorts, without a shirt on. She loved his wide hairy chest. His strong arms were incredibly sexy according to her. She loved how dark his skin had gotten these days in the sun, his blue eyes looked even bluer. "I think I will take a shower." She said in a seductive voice.

"If you want, there is enough time."

Cora sighed; he did not understand what she meant. "Going on my own is quite boring though."

Robert got up from his lounger and scooped Cora in his arms. This erupted giggles from Cora.

"Oh, my strong hero is here to rescue me and bring me to my steamy shower" She teased.

Robert pressed his lips on hers. "Show me what you had in mind my dear."

"Do you think we could move to the new house soon?" Cora was drying her hair in front of the mirror.

"The contractors said they needed about a month. I am afraid we will need to have a bit more patience." Robert was putting on his pants and a polo shirt. They were going to have dinner in one of the restaurants.

"I cannot wait to start our life together in that new place." She turned towards him. "Did you already decide in what room your grand piano will be?"

"To be honest, I have not."

Cora put her hair up in a messy bun, she did not want to waste too much time styling it. "What is wrong darling?"

"Why would you think something is wrong?" Robert felt he was getting annoyed, he loved her dearly, but she always knew something was wrong and sometimes that irritated him. There was nothing he could hide from her.

"I know you my sweetheart and your face tell me everything I need to know." She stepped closer and put her hand on his chest. "It is alright if you do not want to tell me." Briefly she kissed his lips and walked towards the bedroom.

Robert needed a minute to get his anger down, he did not even know why this angered him so much. It was a sweet thing that Cora understood him this well.

Dinner had been in an awkward silence; he had not controlled his anger at all. Cora had not even tried getting his mood to be better, that did not improve his mood at all. Why was she not getting angry at him, they were on their honeymoon and here he was acting like a jerk. Why had she had to be so perfect that even when he was being unfair, she still forgave him?

Without saying a word, they walked back to their residence. Cora walked towards the sitting area, picking up her book and nestling on one of the sofas. What was he supposed to do? He better just go to get some sleep.

Cora saw in the corner of her eye that Robert went into the bedroom. She lowered her book and stared in front of her. Something had upset him, but she was not sure what it was exactly. His mood had changed when she mentioned the house. Did he not want to move? Did he not like the house? He was the one who found it and he had fallen in love. Cora had preferred moving into a newer house. This house was extremely cute and cosy, but she did love the luxury of his Westminster apartment. Their new house was charming, and Robert would make sure it was up to modern standards. At least they had enough room to start a family. She rested her hand on her belly, there was no sign of her being pregnant. She would not mind if it would happen soon. Robert had made clear that he was excited to start a family, and she hoped to make his dream come true soon. She put the book back on the coffee table. With Robert in this strange mood, in the other room, she would not be able to read anything.

Quietly she went into the bedroom. Robert was snoring, but Cora heard it was fake. She felt sad, why was he doing this? Why could he not just talk to her? When she finally crawled under the covers, she turned on her right side, facing away from Robert. She would have loved to snuggle against him and fall asleep with his heartbeat in her ear, but even though she was not forcing him to talk, she was also not going to let it slide that he was behaving badly. This day had been so perfect until the house came up. She sighed and pulled up the covers a bit more.

Robert pretended to be asleep when he heard Cora coming into the bedroom. He knew that he failed miserably, but he was not sure she wanted to talk. He had behaved badly. Why did he get so angry as soon as his piano was mentioned? He knew that they would have to move the piano to their new home. But it also meant he needed to tell his mother about his passion. He was just not ready for it; his mother would probably make fun of him. He wished there was a way to keep it a secret for his parents. Cora let out a deep sigh and his guilt grew. Without hesitation, he scooted closer and put his hand on her stomach. He did not get a reaction. None at all, no rejection but also no approval. Slowly he moved his hand towards her chest, he slid his hand in between her breast. This was where she stopped him.

"I love playing with you, but not when you ignored me this whole evening." Her hand rested on his.

To his surprise, she did not remove his hand.

"I told you that you do not have to tell me what is bothering you, but that did not mean that I did not want to talk to you at all." Her hand now softly brushed over his.

Robert felt her calm heartbeat and was relieved that she did not push him away. He pressed his nose in her hair and murmured. "I am sorry."

This made Cora turn around, she was still holding his hand. "This does not mean I forgive you for tonight, not without explanation." She brushed her nose over his. "This also does not mean I am angry with you." She added when she felt him sigh. "If the house is not what you want, we can keep looking."

"Oh no." He exclaimed. "I love the house, and I already dream about us with little ones running around in it." He kissed her forehead. "It is not the house, I promise you."

"Darling, please explain why you got so angry this afternoon. I do not understand what happened."

Robert sighed again. "The idea of telling my mother about me playing the piano scares me."

"That is why you got so angry?" Cora pushed herself back. "Are you serious?"

Robert felt that he was getting angry again, now Cora was making fun of him. He turned on his back.

She brushed over his cheek. "I did not know it bothered you this much. I am sorry, you surprised me with it." Trying to calm him down again she snuggled closer, to her relief, Robert wrapped his arm around her. She rested her head on his chest, her fingertips stroking his neck. "We do not have to tell your mother anything." She said carefully, waiting for his response she paused. When he did not react, she continued. "Every grand house has a music room, so why would we not?"

Robert took her hand in his and brought it to his lips. "This is why I love you."

Cora snuggled even closer. "Only because of this?" She did not give him time to react, she pushed herself up and pressed her lips on his. "I adore you." she murmured, before settling down, her head found its favourite place against his chest, she wiggled her foot between his legs.

Robert moved his arm, so it would not fall asleep. He tugged them both in with the cover and before he realised it, he was asleep.
