The Obsidian Dog sailed along with everyone doing something on the ship.
Luffy was at the helm with Hiyori as they navigated towards Crimson Sails.
Zoro and Kuina both taught Koby how to use his Sword of Kusanagi.
Nami, Ulti, and Yamato were getting trained by Doll on how to use Rokushiki.
And Kikunojo was cooking everyone some food.
"It seems that we're a few hours out from Crimson Sails," Hiyori said as Luffy nodded before he looked at her new clothes.
She had changed her clothing to a scarlet sleeveless Kimono top and a black and gold wraparound skirt.
Before anyone could say anything, a whistle filled the air.
"LUFFY WE'RE GOING TO NEED A BALLOON!" Doll yelled out as Luffy ran forward
"Gum-Gum Balloon!" Luffy yelled out as he inhaled air before a missile bounced off his rubbery belly.
"What the hell was that?" Zoro asked, looking off to the side with one hand on his sword.
"I don't know," Doll said, looking off to the other side as everyone got ready to fight.
Before they could say anything out of the water came something that had a humped body, four flippers, and a long, flexible neck; its jaws alone were large enough to swallow a human being whole. And on its head was a helmet with a Jolly Roger.
The Jolly Roger was designed to resemble a crab. Two sets of three spiny legs flank its central skull. Above each set of legs is a red pincer, and a set of eyeballs rests atop the skull.
"That Jolly Roger," Koby said as he started to look for it in his bingo book before he found it. "Ganzack Pirates, they are led by Crab Cannon Ganzack, he's worth 10,000,000 Beli," He told everyone before he saw something that got him to look at the sea monster.
"That creatre is also a Plesiosaur that he found on the Grand Line and is his pet," Koby told them as the Plesiosaur roared at them and lunged.
Yamato used Soru and shoved her club into the mouth of the sea monster as it bit down on Takeru before it moved away.
Hiyori then moved up the boat as ruff, scaly skin formed her body before she stopped at the ship's bow, "Fire Dragon's Roar," She called out as she breathed out a cyclone of flames.
The Plesiosaur let out a roar before it dived into the water and swam away from them. "It's gone," Luffy called out as they nodded.
Kuina nodded, headed to the helm, and stole the boat.
"Koby, what else do you know about them?" Luffy asked as he walked over to the youngest member of the crew.
"Not much is known about Ganzack, and what is known is that he is a Morganeer," Koby said as the crew members smiled.
"Well, if he's like that, then let's pay him a visit," Nami said as Luffy pointed to the left.
"Hard to port," He called out as Kunia turned towards the left.
They spotted something happening on the beach as they approached the island.
They saw a fight on the beach between three people, one of whom looked like a child.
"Doll, Ulti, go help them out. We'll be right behind you," Luffy told the Instructor and Cannoner, who nodded and jumped over to the island.
Over on the beach of Crimson Sails, the child was dressed in knight-like armour while holding a naginata, fighting against two men. The first was a tall, skinny man wearing a normal red shirt and pants. He had brown hair. The second was of average height, a larger man who wore a normal blue-and-orange striped shirt and pants. He wore a bandana with the Ganzack Pirates Jolly Roger.
"Stay still," The skinny man said as he swung his glave at the child.
"Flying Ulti-Meteor," they heard someone call out. Both men looked up and saw Ulti, in her Hybrid Form, flying headfirst at them at high speed.
And she nailed the larger of the two as he was sent into the ground.
"Chico!" The skinny man yelled out, only for Doll to appear behind him.
"Hell's Haymaker," Doll said as she folded the man as he flew into a cliffside and was knocked out.
Ulti got up, and Doll looked over to the child. "Are you alright?" she asked.
"Yeah," They said as the Dog approached the beach before it dropped its ancestor.
"Well, I have to say that was fast," Koby said as he looked at the two pirates like a light.
"He said the fat one's name was Chico," Ulti said as she walked over to the pink-haired teen.
"Chico, Chico, Chi-Ah, here it is, Large Belly Chico, his bounty is 1,410 Beli," Koby said as everyone looked at the large man knocked out on the ground.
"And what about the other one?" Nami asked as she pointed over to the cliffside.
"Alto, or Small Ball Alto, his bounty is the same," Koby said as he turned the page.
"I'll get something from them so we can get their bounty," Kuina said as she approached the two of them.
The child looked at them before she took off her helmet and looked at them again. "Can you help us?" she asked them as they looked at her.
Luffy looked at her as he breathed and closed his eyes.
Everyone looked at him in confusion as the wind blew his hair around before he opened his eyes, and they were fierce.
"We'll help," He told her as the girl looked at him in amazement.
"Nika's will must be driving him," Doll thought as they looked at the girl. "What happened here?" She asked her.
And so the child told the crew everything that had gone on with Ganzack and his crew taking over Crimson Sails, taking all the men, and they had built something.
"What is he building?" Zoro asked as the girl, who introduced herself as Medaka, led them into town, where they found it.
It was a tower with a big blue entrance surrounded by white walls and pillars, each with a red gem. The tower itself was on top of a black-and-white structure. It was covered in gold and shaped like a maned dragon with no arms, breathing golden fire.
"He's building that," Medaka said as she pointed at the tower.
Ulti slowed as she looked at the building, "That's a cannon," She told everyone who looked at her.
"A cannon?" Zoro asked her.
"Yes, one that is dubbed an Island Buster. My old boss stole blueprints for them before he sold them on the black market," Ulti told them as Medaka looked at them.
"Who are you people?" She asked them.
"We're pirates who work for Garp the Hero," Doll said as Medaka looked confused.
"You pirates but work for a Marine?" She asked as Koby nodded.
"I know that it's hard to understand, but we're helping Garp fix the Marines while we do our own thing," He told her as she nodded at him.
Luffy looked at Ulti, "So how do we break this cannon?" He asked her.
"First, we're going to need to get everyone out, and then we have to remove the cannon supports," she told them as they nodded and started to walk towards the tower.
Medaka looked at them in amazement as they approached the Devil's Tower.
"Can they really defeat Ganzack?" She asked herself as she looked at the crew before she felt a hand on her shoulder.
She turned and saw her mother's ghost. "Mom?" she asked, but the ghost smiled and pointed at the naginata in her hand. "What is it?" Medaka asked.
The ghost turned away and indicated that her daughter should follow her.
The two entered a forest, where they found a small ship with what looked to be the Ganzack Pirates' Jolly Roger. The ghost floated in, with Medaka following.
And when she walked in, the ghost pointed to a chest.
"Is it in there?" Medaka asked as she walked over to the chest, opened it, and found armour.
"I had this armour made for you," The ghost told her daughter, who looked at her. "It was made in my homeland in the West Blue, it's known as Kano Country, their soulders were named the Jade Lions," The ghost said as she became more visible.
She had long flowing red hair, but was in a simple dark blue dress.
"This armour is called Kuījiǎ," The ghost told her daughter as she started to fade away, "Medaka, I know you have a hate for pirates, but know this, the pirates that have come here today, this will free our home," She said before she disappeared as Medaka had tears running down her face before she wiped them away and looked at the armour.
And she pulled it out of the chest before she nodded to herself.
Luffy and his crew looked up at the towering cannon before Luffy turned to Nami and Koby. "Can the two of you get in and start evacuated people? We'll make a distraction for you," he told them as they nodded at him.
"Let me start," Zoro said as he walked up and saw a group of the Ganzack Pirates standing there.
"Ushi Bari," Zoro called out as he ran forward with two swords sticking out like bull horns and the third in his mouth.
"What the?" One of the pirates asked before Ulti entered her full Pachycephalosaurus mode and rammed into the guards.
The others jumped into the battle as more of Ganzack's crew started to filter out of the tower and join the fight.
Koby and Nami looked at each other and nodded as they entered the tower.
So Koby split off from Nami as he started to look around for more people and started to get them out of the building.
As Koby evacuated people from the building, Nami ran down the stairs before finding a locked door. Pulling out some tools, she picked up the lock as people ran past her.
"Looking for more treasure?" Koby asked as he jogged up to her.
"Yeah, and with it, I think we can also rob their shi, leaving with nothing before we sink it," Nami said. A click was heard, and the door opened. They found many treasures, maps, blueprints, and other things.
"Grab a bag," She told Koby, who nodded.
Luffy and the others were still fighting as the Captain of the Ganzack Pirates walked out of the tower.
He was a normal-sized man wearing crab-like armour on his back. The armour on his back is attached to shoulder gauntlets with large crab claws. He also wears a red shirt, blue pants, and a blue cape underneath his armour. Ganzack has purple hair tied into a ponytail and a purple beard. He has a red ring around each of his eyes and an X-shaped scar on his left temple. He also wears a black pirate hat with his Jolly Roger on it.
"What the fuck are you doing?" Ganzack asked Luffy, who smiled at him.
"Just stopping a fool," He told him.
The members of Ganzack's crew ran at Luffy, but then a blur came running up and knocked them away, and they saw Medaka standing there looking at them.
She was now wearing the armour that her mother had left for her; it had a breastplate that looked to be from a samurai and had a scale-like pattern over with an armoured skirt that covered her thighs with a cloth that went around the body and small pauldrons with the same scale-like pattern, a pair of gauntlets that reached her elbows also with a scale like pattern with the sale for the greaves and a pair of black boots. On her head is a helmet that resembles a roaring lion.
"Captain Luffy, I'll work with the others while you fight Ganzack," Medaka told the rubber man, who smiled at her.
"Alright, but why call me captain?" Luffy asked as he walked up to Ganzack.
"Because as of this day, I am joining your crew!" She told Luffy, who smiled.
"Alright then," Luffy said as he jumped at Ganzack as the two started to fight as the crap claws moved and covered Ganzack's arms.
Luffy stretched his leg out and kicked the man, and Medaka looked shocked. Then, she twirled her polearm above her head, knocking back anyone who got close to her.
Soon, people from inside the tower started to join the battle with improved weapons as Luffy were having their fight.
Ganzack raised one claw to block a punch to the head. Looking around him, he saw that his crew was getting wiped out. "NESSI!" Ganzack called out as the ground started to shift and the tower began to be pulled towards the sea.
It revealed his ship, which looked like a gallon. "So the cannon was connected to his ship," Ulti said as she looked at the boat.
"You fools with my cannon compleat! I have no need for this island anymore," Ganzack yelled as he pressed a button, and the cannon sent out a missile that flew towards the island.
"Zansetsugama," Kikunojo called out as the missile blew up.
"What was-" Ganzack said before Luffy stretched out and punched him, knocking the man back.
The teen twisted his arms around each other before taking hold of Ganzack and slamming him onto the ground at high speed while spinning, "Gum-Gum Hammer," Luffy called out as Ganzack slammed into the ground.
Luffy let him go before he used Geppo to jump higher and higher into the air.
Then he turned in the air and shot back down at Ganzack, who looked at Luffy and saw the teen's smile and black hair turn gold as he shot down.
"Gum-Gum Gatling," Luffy called out as he sent out a rapid barrage of punches that began to send Ganzack into his ship. After each punch, the man was sent.
All of Ganzack's men looked in shock at what was happening, and even the Plesiosaur as Luffy stretched one arm out that reached the heavens.
"Gum-Gum Pistol," The teen yelled as he sent the punch at Ganzack and sent the man to the hull of his ship, knocked out.
The Plesiosaur saw its master being attacked and went for Luffy, but Zoro and Kuina appeared beside their Captain with their swords ready.
"Oni Giri/Kuzurisaikuron," Both sword users called out as they passed through the sea monster, and it fell to the sea dead.
No one said anything as Koby and Nami walked out with sacks on their shoulders filled with the plunder of the Ganzack Pirates, as soon as cheers filled the air.
The people started to lead away the pirates as they removed Ganzack's armour before they locked them up in prison.
The crew was at a restaurant, and Doll and Yamato were helping Koby and Nami take everything from Ganzack's ship. "Is there another pirate port near here?" Kuina asked as she looked at a map.
"There is one on this island," A woman said as she approached them.
"Their is?" Medaka asked her.
"Oh, yeah, a small type started, it grew, and it is a small town, Jang Hui; they will buy most things and when they sell other objects, like fishing equipment," the woman said as she walked away.
"I see; when Nami gets back, we'll set a corse for Jang Hui," Kuina said as she looked at where it was on the map they had of the island.
"And another thing I would like to know is if we are acsepting the girl as a member of our crew," Zoro said as he looked at Medaka, who smiled at them.
"Well, it's not that unheard of," Ulti said as she sipped her drink.
"Realu?" Zoro asked them.
"Yep, they're the Powder Monkey and Apprentice," Yamato said to himself as he looked over to her as she and the other three walked over. "The Powder Monkey is responsible for aiding in operating the ship's cannons as well as generally maintaining their condition alongside the gunner, cannoner, and sniper, and they are the ones in charge of loading them up with gunpowder and or cannonballs, as well as keeping them functioning, cleaning them, maintaining the ship's cannonball and gunpowder supplies," She told him as Zoro looked amazed.
"What about the Apprentice?" Nami asked her as Luffy turned to her.
"The Apprentice is responsible for eventually taking up the Captain's place and continuing the legacy of their crew in the new age," Luffy said as Nami and the others looked at him in shock, "And then in turn, it's the Captain's responsibility to guide and train their apprentice to become a strong and capable leader when their time to inherit the crew inevitably comes," He added as they looked at Medaka before the girl nodded to herself before she looked at Luffy.
"Can I be your Apprentice?" She asked Luffy, who looked at her.
Luffy opened his mouth, but Doll touched his shoulder, "Are you sure you have what it takes?" She asked for her captain.
"What do you mean?" Medaka asked her; she cocked her head to the side.
"When Luffy reaches the age when he can no longer sail, do you think you have it in you to take over from him and lead our crew when Luffy and Zoro can not?" Doll asked her. Medaka looked at her and then at the other crew members before she nodded.
"Yes, one day I will," she said, steeling her nerves as the others looked at her. Then Luffy put a hand on her head and smiled.
"I'll gladly take you as an apprentice, but your going to have to learn everything from everyone," Luffy told her as she looked at him, "Learn to navagate from Nami, how to use a sword from Zoro, Kuina and Kikunojo, learn skills from Doll, how to knowlage of the sea from Koby, how to keep track of money from Hyori, how cannons work from Ulti, making notes of the jurarny like Yamato," He told her as Medaka looked at the few he had mentioned before he looked at the others.
"And then others that join our crew as well along the way," Doll said as Medaka nodded at her.
Medaka's father smiled at his daughter as Medaka got all her things before he walked over. "Medaka, before you go, I have a gift for you," he said as he handed the girl a box. As you know, your mother was a pirate who took this from her homeland. She could never learn them, but she would want you to have them," he told his daughter, who looked at the box as she looked at Doll.
"Do you think that you could teach me any of this?" she asked the woman, who looked at the man, who nodded, leading her to look through the box and see scrolls.
"I can try to teach you, but I will have to learn them as well, and if that is alright with you, I will teach you want I know," Doll said as she looked at Medaka.
After eating, they went to the Dog, where Nami started leading them towards Jang Hui.
After a few hours, they were in Jang Hui with Nami, Hyori, and Medaka, selling the items they had taken from the Ganzaku Pirates while the others looked around.
"We're going to need to get a merchant soon," Ulti said as she looked at the three of them.
"True, but I think we're going to need a bigger ship first," Kuina said as the others nodded at her.
"From what I heard, someone from the Gecko Islands has a Devil Fruit that can fuse thigns together," Doll said as the others looked at her.
"Devil Fruit's will never stop making me confused," Koby said as the others nodded at them.
At the Loguetown Marine Base, Kujaku stood across from the base's leader and his second in command.
The leader was a muscular, tall man smoking two cigars at once. He has short silvery-white hair cut in a textured pompadour fade style and brown eyes. He wore a large, thick, white and blue specialist marine jacket, which he kept open, with greenish fur lining the neck, wrists, and hem. The jacket bears the kanji for "justice" (正義) written on it. Many cigars are strapped to the coat. He also wore brown leather gloves, blue jeans with a brown belt, and large military-issue brown leather boots.
The second in command was a woman with dark brown eyes, black hair between chin and shoulder length. She looked remarkably similar to Kuina. She wore rectangular glasses with red frames. She was seen wearing a short-sleeved pink shirt with a floral pattern. She also wore dark blue jeans with black shoes.
"So what did you want to speak to us about?" The man asked as he looked at Kujaku.
The twenty-year-old pulled out the copy of the book that Garp had given her. "By orders of Vice Admiral Garp, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, and Vice Admiral Tsuru, I am to share this information with you," she told the man. The other woman in the room looked shocked at the big names of the Marines who had given the orders.
Kujaku handed over the book, and when the man opened it, his face went pale from within the book.
"Is this accurate?" The man asked.
"It is," Kujaku told him.
"What is it, Smoker?" the other woman asked as he headed over to the book, and she gasped after reading only a tiny piece.
"What is the plan?" Smoker asked Kujaku.
"My grandfather has a plan: it is where a group of Marines join my brother to fix all that needs fixing," she told him as the dark blue-haired woman put the book down. He wants to be free, and the best way he can do that is to be a pirate, but he has already taken down one of the ones in the red dog's pocket," Kujaku explained to them as they nodded at her.
"I see, do they want me or Tashigi or the two of us to join him?" Smoker asked her.
"Well, if you want to join, you can, but then we were going to have Tashigi join him so that he can have great swordsmen with him," Kujaku explained, and Smoker nodded.
"Are you going to join as well?" He asked the woman.
"I am, and I'm heading towards Turtle Island," Kujaku told the man as she stood up. "My brother's last heading was Crimson Sails so that he will reach here in a few days." Kujaku left.
Smoker looked at Tashigi but nodded to himself. "Tashigi, join them. It's for the best, and with it, you can complete that dream of yours," he told her as she looked at him.
"Are you sure, sir?" She asked him.
"I am," Smoker told her before he got up and led her out of the office and into another room. "This chest holds four Devil Fruits. Take one for yourself and the rest for your future crew," he told her as she looked at him. She opened the chest and looked at them before pulling out a pineapple whose leaves looked like a bird's wings.
"So you pick that one," Smoker said as he looked at the Devil Fruit she had picked.
"Yes sir," Tashigi said as she held the pineapple.
"Good. Make sure that you keep the chest ready to take with you so that if some of your future crew wants to have fruit, they can eat one of these," he told her as she nodded at him.
