13. Ep 13: Skeletons

"The world's most elite Karate Tournament is almost here, It is the Sekai Taikai. The best Under 18 Martial Artist from across the globe competing for the title of world Champion"

Is spinning globe displayed around the screen showing the four Final teams remaining of The Iron Dragons, Miyagi-Do, Cobra Kai and Furida De Pantera. With Each clip showing Highlights from all the Captains and their victories throughout the tournament that led them to this moment

"Gotta say all tragedies aside I'm excited to see how this Tournament concludes, a lot of great fighters we have left remaining. Boys and girls alike"

Nodding his head at his fellow Reporter the suited man continued their speech

"Indeed we do and even though the matchups will be redrawn. Any matchup will be a good one, Starting off with Newcomers Samantha LaRusso and Tory Nichols"

More clips between the girls fight within not only the tag team match but the Captains War played out within the Commercial showing off their skills and prowess to everyone watching

"Even though it's both their first time at the Sekai Taikai, These two girls have made their mark. And Sure enough everyone knows them now"

"Speaking of making your ticket at the big times memorable. We have to talk about the adorable proposal to Samantha LaRusso from her Fellow Captain Robby Keene. After his jaw dropping Victory against Cobra Kai that lead them to the finals"

The clip of Robby hugging Sam while their team surrounded them post Victory was shown on the screen making everyone's hearts throb

"Isn't that just the cutest Kevin"

"It sure is Ryan, And they say Karate is just about punching and Kicking"

"Speaking of punching and Kicking, If there's Two boys that can do it. It's sure as hell their boyfriends"

Nodding their heads in Total Agreement Eli and Robby's names popped up on the screen before displaying their own highlights of the Tournament

"Right indeed, If you Think Samantha and Tory are badasses wait until you meet their Partners. Both Robby Keene and Eli Moskowitz showed out all Tournament growing somewhat of a Rivalry through their matches"

Displaying the clip of the two boys going back and forth during the Captains War leading to Eli's Suplex before changing to Robby's Match Winning Kick in the face during the Tag Team match. and Victorious Yell afterwards the two Reports couldn't help but feel the goosebumps from the two

"Ohh I can't wait to see them back on the mat Again, Some really good fights coming up. If there's one thing these boys can do. It's Throw down"

"Speaking of Throwing Down, The other sided bracket has some heavy hitters. Obviously speaking of with Current Champions Zara Malik and Axel Kovačević. But interestingly enough Furia De Pantera's Captains Diego Águilar and Maria Alvarez will be replaced With two former members of Finalist teams Cobra Kai and The Iron Dragons. Both Yoon Do-Jin and Mei Hagakure"

Clips of Yoon and Mei's highlights were shown, reasoning why they were both skilled enough to be Captains but best believe it was still a shock no matter the less

"We know how good Mei is coming off the Iron Dragon's win last year but Yoon has been quite the surprise. We both look forward to seeing what these two offer in the Remaining matches of this Tournament"

Changing the Sekai Taikai Screen. The Screen now showed the two in person announcers of the Tournament along with the Arena itself getting ready for the Sekai Taikai along with the now Red Mats being prepared

"Hi, everyone, and welcome to our live pre-fight coverage of the Sekai Taikai World Championship. I'm Kevin Burkhardt, Joined by Ryan Clark. And Ryan I gotta tell ya. We covered every sporting event there is but Karate…Now that's new territory"

Showing the video clip of Robby and Sam putting on their Captain headbands while Eli and Tory put on their Captain Headbands the conversation continued

"Karate on the world Stage ? I mean what could be better ? I mean it's already cool enough that we're seeing the best of the best. But if you ask me. I feel like these fights are a little more personal than most" Ryan said much to Kevin's agreement as he gave his co-star a headnod

"And we have the best of the best when it comes to the 4 last standing Dojo's competing in today's finals"

With the sound of a Baby's Coo. The LaRusso-Lawrence-Diaz family all gathered around within Daniel's living room as they all looked at the screen before them

Seeing themselves prodcasted felt surreal as Robby's face was shown on Camera since each Individual Fighter got a certain amount of Screen time

WIth Sam in his lap and her arms around his neck that still didn't stop Carmen from smiling as she took his hands in hers

"Oh Robby you're famous !" she exclaimed with the widest smile making him chuckle

"Hey man you feel good" Miguel said with his own smile leaving Robby to nod his head

"Yeah. I mean, I'm still a little nervous. Last time I fought Axel things didn't go so well….Gonna be a lot more people watching this one as well"

"And this time you'll be more prepared" Sam said getting his attention only making him smile before they both kissed each other lovingly full of support

Both Daniel and Johnny smiled at their Children's love. That not stopping Johnny from bouncing small baby Laura within his arms whilst holding a beer in his other

"Hey, forget about who's watching and screw the cameras" Johnny said much to Daniel's agreement

"Agreed, The outside noise only matters if you give into it. You know who and what you're fighting for. As long as you know that, What you do or say doesn't-"

"Oh hey shut the hell up ! my interview is on turn it up !" Johnny said interrupting Daniel making the whole family chuckle as Anthony turned the TV up

"Hey what a story this is. Two high school rivals from 35 years ago now teaching together"

The clip of Daniel's crane kick on Johnny was shown along with the aftermath of his victory accepting the Trophy with everyone congratulating him

"Woah nice kick Dad" Anthony said making Daniel chuckle

"Yeah it was a pretty cool-"

"Yeah yeah yeah shut up my part" Johnny interrupted again as soon enough he popped up on the screen showing his interview

"Watch this" Johnny whispered to Laura as he bounced her in his hand

"So Johnny, you lost a heartbreaker, in this very arena 35 years ago. You not only have the only record of being the only All Valley Champion who won, without a point being scored on you. But you lost what would've been the only ever 3-peat. Gotta ask, what's it like to be back ?"

With a smile on his face dressed in a suit and tie Johnny nodded his head

"Yeah, well, you know, listen, uh…nobody likes to lose"

Immediately cutting off Johnny, the screen revealed Daniel's interview making everyone eyes in the room go wide in complete surprise

"That was a long, long time ago" Daniel chuckled

"Let's just say time heals old Karate wounds. Ad having the pleasure of Teaching both of Children together is a dream come true"

Immediately everyone turned to Johnny while Daniel himself held a awkward expression, Looking forth between Amanda and Carmen for help but they too had nothing to say

"Wait, what that's it ?" Johnny confusingly said

"I talked to that dude for like an hour ? I rented a whole damn suit !"

"Maybe they'll come back to you" Carmen said but that didn't stop Johnny from looking at Daniel

"Did you know about this ?" he asked leaving Daniel at a lost for words as he jumbled a bunch of words together before thankfully the tv cut him off

"The Tournament underdog is without a doubt Miyagi-Fang, A dojo with a rich family history going back 400 years. And brought to the United States by its previous sensei, and Sekai Taikai Comparator Nariyoshi Miyagi. It's defensive counterpart only compliments well with it's even more aggressive Offensive counterpart as the Dojo has a unique but well balanced blend of both Martial Arts styles"

Showing clips of Robby attacking and Countering Axel within their fight along with Sam using her own fighting style throughout the tournament was shown before the commentators spoke

"And it's proven to be an effective tournament style, Even though that's surprising because at it's core tenet the Miyagi in Miyagi-Fang is defense only while the Fang in Miyagi-Fang is offense only. Talk about true balance"

With a smile on his face Daniel put an arm around Robby making them both chuckle and smile

"We did it, We finally brought Miyagi-Do to the world" he said leaving Daniel, Robby, Sam and Chozen to nod their heads with a smile as the picture Daniel and Mr Miyagi took after his first All Valley win was shown

"Feels surreal"

"All those mental reps of painting the fence and sanding the floor…Finally shared to others" Robby joked leaving them all to laugh

"Miyagi and I were good friends…..The most honorable man I ever knew"

Turning to look at the Camera, Silver grinned at the screen, as if he was looking directly at Daniel

"We shared a student actually"

Letting out a scoff Amanda shook her head

"He's just doing what he always does trying to get under your skin" she said and Daniel knew she was right as he paid no attention to his choice of words simply nodding his head

"What would you say, to those concerned about your alleged history of tournament cheating ?"

Letting out an obvious fake sigh Silver thought on the man's words

"One of the ugly truths about our society is that people find joy in coming after those on top. And that's exactly what my Iron Dragons are. Undefeated and on top"

With a quick an immediate screen change, The Iron Dragon's logo popped up before Axel and Zara were revealed showing clips of them dominating all throughout the Tournament

"The Iron Dragons are clearly the team to beat. Based in Hong Kong, led by former three-time Sekai Taikai champion Feng Xiao, better known simply as Sensei Wolf"

Panning back to the arena the two reporters were in the conversation only continued

"And they're phenomenal. And love that their girls' Captain and social media darling, Zara Malik, is such a great role model for her young followers, She's a real advocate for female empowerment"

"Indeed she is Kevin, Zara's always been one of the best, But with the Tournament continuing. Zara's made it clear as day on her motivation after the loss of her Karate Kicking sweetheart, And Sekai Taikai competitor and Captain Kwon Jae-Sung"

With a camera change Zara's interview appeared

Back to the precedent and Makeup filled look everyone was used to seeing, She lacked the usual enthusiasm she always had as she now sported a tough and serious expression as she huffed her breath emotionally

"Look we all….tragically saw what happened to Kwon, I've had enough rough nights sleeping as is but I need to come to terms with the truth that he's…..gone"

Swallowing the lump in her throat Zara painfully continued

"He was more than just an amazing fighter, He was a genuine Kind soul. Who cared about his passion more than anyone I've ever met. And because of his love he was wrongfully and brutally…eliminated for it. So going into this tournament I'm not just fighting for myself. But I'm fighting for him as well"

Turing to look at the Camera Zara held almost a smirk on her face sported with a death glare

"And I'm gonna look forward to finishing the fight with his teammates Tory Nichols and Eli Moskowitz"

Continuing to do sit ups in her living room ended with a 2 stuck jab Tory didn't stop training as her anger towards Zara fueled her movements and motivation while she continued to watch the TV

"That brings us to Cobra Kai Great name for a dojo, by the way" the reporter said as Cobra Kai's log popped up added with the clip of Tory and Eli putting on their Captains Headbands

"This is the dojo with the most question marks coming in. With the tragic death of one of their three star fighters and Captain, Kwon Jae-Sung, Added with competitor Yoon Do-Jin now fighting against his former team. And Question marks if First Captain Eli Moskowtiz will be fighting once more. Is it even possible for Cobra Kai to win ?"

"And their Sensei, Vietnam Veteran John Kreese, He's ignored all of our interview requests. And it got me wondering, is he gonna show ? Is Cobra Kai gonna show ? Will we see them at all in the tournament ?"

"We all eagerly await the answers to that. So stay tuned, folks, "cause it's almost Karate time'."

With a final angered grunt, Tory popped back up into her sitting position, her breath huffing as she built up a heavy sweat

Too angry and in her own thoughts, she turned the TV off not wanting to hear anymore about the Tournament only wanting to take a sip of her water

Confusingly turning her head Tory had no clue who it could've been at the door but the curiosity had gotten to her

Opening the door her heart came to a full blown stop once she saw it was Kreese standing there before her

Anger was the first thing she felt, clenching her fist trying to calm herself

"What the hell do you want" she said seeing upon him

Kreese didn't have an answer, hell he barely had the confidence to show up here

But he was still here

"Uh….I….I won't take up much of your time" he said before peeking into her apartment hoping to find one more student of his

Tory looked back already knowing what he was searching for

"Hawk's not here" she said, pain clearly in her voice, and if that wasn't enough. Her nails digging into the door was enough

"And No….I don't know if he's fighting or not" she added clearing that up Immediately as Kreese just nodded his head with a sigh

"I wanted to apologize" he began, getting Tory's attention

"I failed you as a sensei back in Barcelona…I treated you….and Hawk…..like you were some….soldiers in my own private war.."

Tory's face started to emotionally drop at hearing his words but he still continued

"I told you, and him to let your anger control you, Try and use your pain to win but I ended up corrupting one of our own and for it…Hawk has….another scar upon himself…..another reminder of failure"

Looking at the emotion within Tory's eyes Kreese knew how bad he screwed up, how far he was from redemption….but this….this was a start…right ?

"I regret letting you down…..I regret letting Hawk down…I regret….."

Kreese licked his lips

"I regret failing Kwon"

Kwon's name drop had gotten to Tory as she herself had to drop her head a few times and lick her lips, not knowing what to say or where to go

"I….I saw the news" she began

"About Yoon"

Kreese quickly understood as he simply nodded his head

"He's on a warpath. He's so consumed with anger and vengeance. He's gonna make sure his presence is known at the tournament" Kreese said i almost a warning but Tory already knew how important this was

"You and Hawk are the last of Cobra Kai" Kreese said only making Tory's face scrunch but Kreese continued even if she didn't want to hear it

"I know you don't want me in your corner….But I have always loved your guts and passion. Just know that I will always be rooting for you"

Looking Kreese up and down the older man only smiled at her

"Both of you…..Goodbye Kid"

With that Kreese turned around and started to walk away, leaving Tory to lick her lips and hesitate to step forward but still she spoke

"Does it have to be" she quickly said stopping his walk

"Goodbye I mean…"

With a small sigh before turning into a light chuckle. Kreese finally turned around to look at Tory. and right when he saw her he smiled

"I'm afraid so" he said honestly proving to Tory that's not what she wanted to hear

"I have one last thing to do, and then it's time for me to…step aside"

With a head drop Tory knew what "Step Aside" meant but it didn't make it any better as with a final look of goodbye, Kreese walked away and Tory closed the door before her now with one goal in mind

With people exiting buses, fans filling the stadium with fan made posters and gear, People buying food at the concession stands and overall the Arena being filled with people, fans and higher ups alike. Today was made to be a busy and important day

"Welcome, Competitors, Senseis, sponsors and esteemed guests. To the San Fernando Valley"

Standing in the middle of the stage for everyone to see, Hao and Asami continued to display their skills with nunchucks as the fans watching clapped and cheered

"For the conclusion of the world's greatest Karate Tournament, THE SEKAI ! TAIKAI ! '

Finishing their Kata with a flip added with a roar the cheers only increased showing just how much hype there was to today's matches

Within the parking lot of the Arena both Robby and Miguel got out of Johnny's car to see the All Valley Arena waiting for them

The sight had felt like a blast to the past on it's own right as they both held back their breaths and shook their heads seeing the building before them

"Phew, Brings back some memories, huh ?" Miguel said making Robby shake his head

"Yeah, good ones for you. You won here…..I've done thing here but lost again and again"

With a small chuckle and a back rub. Miguel calmed Robby's nerves

"Well time to change history" Miguel said with encouragement. Brining a grin onto Robby's face as he had to admit that did sound pretty good

"Alright Robby here's your bag" Johnny said as he handed the travel item to his son

"Captains sign in away from the team. You have to go meet Sam in the locker room"

With a simple headnod Robby gave Miguel a fist bump before walking off heading towards the building

"Alright you should go sign in with the rest of the team, I'll bring your bag" Johnny told Miguel with a back pat and Miguel simply responded with his own headnod before he too ventured off towards the building leaving Johnny alone

Opening the trunk, ready to grab the rest of the gear. Johnny hadn't even seen Kreese standing right behind him until the old man let his presence be known

"Need a hand ?"

Immediately turning around, Johnny's fist clenched and his face scrunched seeing Kreese stand before him but the old man made no move to fight

Only grinned and waved off his aggression

"No, None of that" he said calmly

"I…I…..I just came by to thank you" Kreese said

"For what you did for me in Barcelona"

"SIlver just got what he had coming to him" Johnny responded coldly but Kreese was still impressed

"But when push comes to shove, Johnny Lawrence always does the right thing…..Well now…..now it's my turn"

Looking at Kreese with a stern glare, Johnny shook his head

"I don't want anything from you"

The words were aggressive, they were meant to hurt but face to face Kreese didn't seem hurt. He seemed…..genuine

"I'm sorry that I ruined Cobra Kai" he said truthfully

"I was so proud of you for bringing it back…..sure, it was different. But that's what it needed. For the last few months, I've been thinking a lot about my failures…..and my biggest failure happened right here in this parking lot"

Both Johnny and Kreese thought back on the night of the All Valley. When Johnny lost and Kreese damn near killed him where he stood

It was a memory neither of them thought kindly on and their faces showed it

Shaking his head in disappointment Kreese didn't even know where to begin

"When you lost to LaRusso back in '84…Yo….You handled it like a man"

Even though he lost it didn't stop Johnny from being the one to hand the trophy to Daniel as with a tearful head shake and emotions running high Johnny handed Daniel the trophy

"You're all right, LaRusso !"

"And what I did next was…..inexcusable"

"Come on, who's the loser now ?"

"You fuck ! get off of me !"

"Come on ! Who's the loser ! I don't hear ya !"

With his eyes diverged, Johnny pushed past the memories and pain but Kreese continued to speak

"If it wasn't for me, you would've kept going. You could have ended up in the Sekai Taikai. Instead I….left all that garbage from my life on your doorstep. And made you carry it for 35 years…"

Looking at Johnny with nothing more but pain and empathy. Kreese sighed

"I'm sorry for that Johnny" Kreese said truthfully probably for the first time ever in his life

Trying to fight the tears within him, Johnny shook his head not wanting to deal with this now. So with a slam of a car trunk, He picked up his bags and looked at Kreese sternly

"I gotta go help my kids win a fight" he said before leaving, Leaving Kreese to fold his hands in pity as he watched his Star Student leave

"All Sekai Taikai competitors meet on the mat in teen minutes for the first match"

With his Gi on and his headband within his hands. Robby paced himself within the halls as he tried to calm his nerves

Usually he was rarely nervous when it came to fights

Hell he was usually never nervous

But there was never a fight this big he had to face, Never a fight that meant so much on the line.

And all things considered, last time he was at this moment he spent 2 minutes getting the shit kicked out of him

Robby couldn't help but think about the negatives, his fight with Axel and him getting demolished not just in their match but within the brawl as well

Robby's mind only divide more and it got to the point where his hands were starting to shake

Gripping his headband tighter, Robby turned away from the wall forcing himself to look at All Valley wall of winners

Every Winner of the All Valley's photo was up here. From His Dad to Daniel to Miguel and Hawk

Everyone had a piece of memory on this wall….

But him….

He was the only one not up there. Not stabled in the legacy of this building of this arena of this sport in his hometown

Robby's mind only filled more and more of what this fight meant to him, what he needed to do, How badly he wanted to win

"CALLING ALL SEKAI TAIKAI COMPETITORS TO THE MAT TO START THE FIRST MATCH ! CALLING ALL SEKAI TAIKAI COMPETITORS TO START THE FIRST MATCH !"

With a final grip of his headband Suddenly Robby's nerves went away. All hsi fears and worries washed like the sea and it was replaced with one thing, one goal in mind

The fight

"CALLING ALL SEKAI TAIKAI COMPETITORS TO THE MAT TO START THE FIRST MATCH ! CALLING ALL SEKAI TAIKAI COMPETITORS TO START THE FIRST MATCH !"

"BLEGH !"

Letting out one last gag of vomit into the Toilet, Sam let out a groggy groan before wiping her mouth

The sound of the announcer calling the fighters onto the mat kept ringing in her ears. But quite frankly it was the last thing on her mind

The nerves were getting to her, it was all she could think about

'I have to tell Robby' she thought to herself before she grabbed her headband, Ready to focus on the main task at hand with the Tournament

"CALLING ALL SEKAI TAIKAI COMPETITORS TO THE MAT TO START THE FIRST MATCH ! CALLING ALL SEKAI TAIKAI COMPETITORS TO START THE FIRST MATCH !"

Pacing back and forth within the locker room Tory grasped her hands together

She was used to fighting alone, that wasn't anything new

Well truthfully….she wasn't

Hell it's been a while since she's been on her own anyway

Besides having to deal with Silver's Cobra Kai even then her friends came to her aid. And then again during the Sekai Taikai. Eli was there with her every step of the way.

Truth was she wasn't used to being alone anymore. She was used to having someone weather that be Eli, Kreese, Silver or Cobra Kai

But as she looked down at the black Gi she was wearing all she felt was…..

Cold

She felt alone, she felt vulnerable….she wasn't used to this like she was before

Shaking her head, Tory's hands retreated to the necklace around her neck. The one Eli gave to her the same day they got their matching tattoos

The same day they officially became a couple

It's been a while since she touched the accessory, only used to doing it when she was nervous or afraid but now…..she did it because she was lost

She was alone

No Sensei in her corner, No team to support her, No Captain to stand there with her

She was last of Cobra Kai

Immediately turning her head and jumping Tory turned to find a ref knocking on the locker room door frame getting her attention

"Tory Nichols, we're waiting for you" the woman said making Tory's breathe huff

"Ohh…yeah….yeah sorry…he-here I come" Tory said and with a final swallow from her throat Tory followed the women out of the room ready to face the Tournament head on

Exiting from the Locker room so that she could head to the arena, Tory didn't notice the pair of eyes that watched her every move

The same pair of eyes that had a scar right across his left eye

Clutching his fist tightly, Eli took a deep breath as the stinging pain in his eye returned making him groan and palm the cut

Lucky for him a hand was placed on his shoulder making him look up to see Mike Barnes standing right there with him

"You ok kid ?"

Thinking completely on his question, Eli licked his lips before nodding his head.

"Yeah….yeah I'll be fine" he said brining a smirk to Barnes's face

"Good, Because it's time to be a hardass" he said only leaving Eli to know exactly what he meant as soon enough he pulled out his Cobra Kai gi from his duffle bag before turning to look at the Sign in Table

"Hi I'm Eli Moskowitz"

"Male Captain of Cobra Kai"

"It's my honor to introduce, our guest referee" Gunther began

Standing front and center on the mat before everyone in the packed out arena, the lights shined the brightest they've ever been as all 4 teams stood before him. With The Iron Dragons and Furia De Pantera to his right while Miyagi-Fang and Cobra Kai were at his left. Each team filled with members in different colors

"Local hero, and former All Valley Champion !, DARRYL VIDAL !"

Stepping onto the mat with his hands up high accepting the claps and cheers, Vidal had a smile on his face as he loved his warm welcome

Taking the mic from the man's hands. Vidal smiled

"Thank you, Mr Braun"

"You're welcome"

Looking at the crowd before him Vidal grinned brightly, it being a great pleasure to be back here

"ARE YOU READY FOR THE WORLD'S BEST KARATE ?"

The crowd had only cheered louder, the sound of claps echoing throughout the Arena giving all the competitors goosebumps

Looking at everything before him, staring across the line, to see that Tory was now his opponent and not his teammate. The sight only made Yoon purse his lips

It was even worse for her to see him wearing the Yellow Gi and Captains headband, Now officially making Yoon one of the 8 Finalists. Something she still didn't understand

But still they didn't hesitate to share a look. With Tory disappointedly yet sorely shaking her head. And Yoon avoiding her eye contact as he bit his tongue

Luckily her eyes didn't linger for long because Immediately she found the fury and angered expression from Zara starting dead at her

Tory knew Zara was a bitch and coming into this she knew what to expect, but…..she'd be lying if she said she didn't notice a difference in Zara compared to months ago

There was a different intensity within her, an intensity that she knew all too well

She was Angry

There was nothing in that girl but pure Hatred and anger, anger at the world, anger at her, anger at whatever, she was just angry. And her therapy was this damn tournament

Both Zara and Yoon looked at Tory, disappointment on their faces to see she was the only one there. It only pissed Zara off more but it visually upsetted Yoon to see that he wouldn't be able to give Eli the fight he wanted. To satisfy his revengeful lust that needed it's fill

Clapping her hands, Amanda couldn't contain her smile as she was all Miyagi-Do'd up. Unlike other fans in support of the team or Sam and Robby. Amanda had a Bonsai tree face paint and one of Daniel's headbands around her head along with a white Gi top on. Amanda couldn't have been more in support of her Husband and Kids. And Shanon sure as hell was surprised to see it all

"Oh, wow ! you really went all out, huh ?" she said making Amanda chuckle

"Oh, well yeah ! it's the Sekai Taikai" she said making Shanon nod her head

"It's like the Super Bowl, the World Cup, and March Madness all under one roof"

On opposite sides of each other the mix of boy and girl names quickly changed and in the blink of an eye the matchups were set making all the fighters squint their eyes at their opponents

It took a second for everyone to read but when they did all they could do was look at the people standing before them before looking at the people standing across from them

Emotions were high and feelings were mixed but that didn't stop the crowd from cheering

Wincing once more getting Tory's attention as she opened one eye to see his mental battle, Eli remembered when Kwon grabbed the blade and attacked him with it, the fake out he gave him that resulted in him ending up with the scar that was on his face right then

Right when he remembered when Kwon slashed and cut his eyes Eli's woke himself up but luckily Guther said "Thank You" signaling the end of the moment of silence

Huffing his breathe as he tried to regain himself, Tory lighty grasped at his arm

"Hey you are you ?" she said making him look at her

Turning his head to see Yoon and Zara even more pissed than before as they looked dead at him, Eli swallowed the lump in his throat

With smiles on their faces Daniel titled his head

"We know, we aren't your Sensei's anymore" Johnny began

Hearing the anger and resentment within Zara's voice only proved more just how much hatred she was holding on as Mei, Axel and Yoon all shared a look But Mei was the one who gave Zara a head node before stepping onto the mat

Both sides held cheers and applause for the girls. Shouts and screams trying to get their attention but neither paid any attention as they were too busy starting one another down

"Fighters face me" Vidal said letting them do what he said

With two grunts both girls got into their fighting positions leaving both sides of their own to look with anticipation

The Miyagi-Fangs, Eli and Barnes held on the edges of their seats while The Iron Dragons along with Yoon stood in victory anticipation watching the match unfold, both sides having their own thoughts running rampant but nothing prepared them all for the words soon spoken

Not waiting to strike first Tory had quickly lunged making Mei back up

Spinning into a punch Mei blocked the attack before blocking Tory's second attempted jab into high spin kick which she ducked under

Getting off the defensive, Mei quickly blocked Tory's leg with her kick before Immediately spinning swiftly kicking Tory in the face drawing first blood

"POINT !" Vidal yelled adding one point to her counter making the Miyagi-Fang Cobra Kai side sigh while the Iron Dragon side clapped in small cheer

Letting out a groan, Tory shook her head and pounced in place, Quickly blocking Mei's comboed one two jab into side to side kick, but right when Mei gave her second kick, Tory blocked the attack and quickly kicked the girl in her chest knocking her to the mat

Almost Immediately Mei caught herself with a backhandspring recovering on her feet but still that didn't stop Vidal from yelling "POINT !" before soon enough Tory was given 10 points making the crowd cheer

Dropping his head in a sigh SIlver shook his head and Mei herself was disappointed in her performance As she looked back at Zara who shook her head and groaned only pissing Mei off more

Shaking off the nerves, Mei pounced around within her fighting position, circling Tory who pounced herself as she started to feel her body warming up into the fight

Trading quick jabs and blocks with one another, testing the water between the two. Tory struck first, striking a kick into a high kick which Mei blocked

Quickly sliding under Tory's second Kick, Mei had Immediately low into leg sweep making Tory trip and fall, but the blonde had quickly caught herself, recovering in a cartwheel as she raised herself back onto her feet

Not giving Tory any breathing Room, Mei attacked in a flying kick just barley leaving Tory to dodge, but it put her on an uneven offensive as Mei quickly struck, throwing jab after jab leaving Tory to huff her breath barley keeping up

Throwing a quick jab Tory blocked, Mei grabbed her arm and quickly kicked Tory in the face claiming a point

Jumping up, Mei brought up her leg and Kicked Tory in the chest finally knocking the blonde to the ground as Mei herself recovered back to the mat with a small spin

With the cheering fans erupting due to the fight, Tory groaned and banged her hand on the mat in frustration

The Miyagi-Fang and Cobra Kai alliance had only looked at one another in hesitation and lick lips not knowing how to feel as Tory quickly got to her feet again and jumped into her fighting position

Cracking her neck, Mei looked up at the 12 to 11 Counter, seeing she got her team 12 points in the lead was good for her, But when she looked back at Zara and more importantly her own Sensei she could see the disapproval upon their faces

And it only made her purse her lips

Too distracted as she started to think on what others what think of her, Mei had barely noticed Tory approaching her

It caused her to lose sight of the match as, Tory had struck a high kick into low kick, two attacks Mei barley blocked not seeing the quick spin kick Tory gave the girl swipping her foot on her face

"POINT !" Vidal announced raising the counter 12-12

"Sensei she shouldn't fight" Zara suddenly said getting Sensei Wolf's attention even if he didn't look away from the match

With glaring eyes, Wolf watched Mei and Tory trade back and forth blows, Clashing kicks before Mei struck another High Kick Tory dodged. Immediately responding with a jab to the chest gaining another point

"Nichols is my fight ! I deserve it ! Mei can't keep up with her BUT I CAN BEAT HER !"

Continuing to keep his glare, Wolf watched Mei attempt A high to low Jab, leaving Tory to catch her low arm before maneuvering herself so that she could flip the girl over dropping her to the mat

"POINT !"

Keeping her grip on Mei's arm, Tory raised her fist ready to strike but the Horn had honked signaling the end of the first round and Vidal had gotten between the girls breaking them apart

Allowing the Furia De Pantera Captain to get to her feet, Vidal patted the two girls on the back

"You two return to your Sensei's" he said leaving them both to nod their heads before breaking apart

Immediately on Return Tory was greeted with cheers, applause in smiles but not just the fans but her Team and Friends as well making her chuckle and smile

But Mei wasn't so lucky

Looking back at the 12-23 counter Mei simply huffed her breathe in disappointment before turning to face everyone's glares and looks towards her

Everyone she's ever known had the same look of disappointment towards her

Who just held a soft smile and patted her back

"Good try, Like I said Tory is very skilled. You made good effort, try harder in next rounds"

His optimism was enticing, to have someone believe in her made her smile even if she wa getting her ass kicked, It made her confident to go back out there and prove herself again

Whisking her head to Sensei Wolf who held his usual glare, Mei felt as if her lips had gone cold

Suddenly feeling….betrayed, Mei didn't know how to respond. With heavy breaths and a deep rooted stomach, Mei tried to look at all her teammates in a cry for help but no one had answers for her

Looking over at Yoon who wanted to say something he too felt the heavy eyes weigh upon him making him close his mouth breaking Mei's heart more

With those as her final words of encouragement the horn was sounded and both fighters were told to return to the mat

Tory didn't hesitate but Mei herself held some doubt in her walk. Looking back at her side of support before whisking her head to Tory and Vidal

Immediately getting into her fighting stance, Tory began pouncing on her feet but Mei didn't make a move making Vidal raise a brow

Looking back at her team, Wolf nodded his head to her with a glare making her purse her lips more leaving her to know she'd have to face the music

Looking back at her fight, more importantly her opponent. Mei but a hand up confusing everyone

"I conclude" she said causing the entire Crowd to gasp in reaction

With wide eyes and shocked expression, even the Miyagi-Fang's and Eli and Barnes all had to share their fair share of looks not knowing what was going on

Stopping her pounce and bringing down her hands, Tory tilted her head in confusion

Stepping a little to the girl, Vidal spoke out

Looking back at her team, Mei swallowed the lump within her throat before caving, not even having the words to say Yes as she simply nodded her head making that enough for Vidal to raise Tory's hand and speak out to the arena

"WINNER ! TORY NICHOLS !" he confirmed suddenly making the crowd cheer and clap while all surrounding Competitors clapped as well even if they had their fair shares of confusion

Stepping onto the mat right behind Vidal, Gunther came in with a mic in his hand letting his voice be known to everyone

"WHAT A FIRST MATCH ! AND AN EVEN SHOCKING TURN OF EVENTS !" he began as Mei returned back to her lineup

More specifically she stood next to Yoon, wanting to stay away from her team, an move he obviously noticed

"With the first match done, that leaves Tory Nichols as our first competitor in the Finals ! We will have a short intermission. But after that, we have our first boys match. With Furia De Pantera Captain Yoon Do-Jin vs Cobra Kai Captain Eli Moskowitz !"

With the way the crowd erupted it was clear the fight had more anticipation going into it. And even though Tory claimed her first spot and she along with everyone else was overjoyed by the victory, Eli couldn't help but look at the stare down Yoon was giving him. Leaving him to swallow the lump within his throat knowing only one thing

It was time to face his demons

Pacing back and forth within the Hallway, Yoon was left feeling something within his stomach

"YE-YES SENSEI !"

"You will be fighting first" Kim reported making his eyes go wide for a split second before he closed them again

Turing to point at the Dojang that just arrived, All dressed in Red Gi's with a Scorpion on their backs, Yoon had Immediately knew who they were

And he wasn't the only one, because EVERYONE soon had the same shocked expression he did once they all saw them

"Sensei that's Scorpion strike" Yoon muttered getting Kim's eyes onto him

"Their ranked Number 1 in Korea there-there-"

"They're not a problem" an oh so cocky voice said making everyone turn left to see Kwon

The only one without his hands behind his back and his hair wild, The Young 15 year old boy rolled his eyes

"Sensei, why send in your Pet. Let me fight instead" he said only making Yoon swallow the lump within his throat

Ticking her head to him, Kim quickly discharged

"I did not tell you to speak ! Kwon, your fight is later, Yoon will start end of discussion"

Her demanding words ended the conversation before it could even start, but that still didn't stop Kwon from glaring at Yoon only adding more worry while everyone started to break out of formation and into line up position

Leaving himself to break out as well, Kwon had quickly smacked Yoon in the back of the head before he leaned close to his ear

"If you are afraid to try then you already lost" he whispered before lining up with everyone else only leaving Yoon to think as he turned to the mat seeing his opponent waiting for him

"Yoon" a voice soon said snapping him out of his daydream, quickly turning his head so that he could Immediately making his eyes go wide in reaction of who he saw

Quickly scrunching his fist, Yoon didn't know what to say or how to feel

All this time, after all this training, all this preparation…..he prepared for this, rehearsed what he would say and how he was gonna feel over and over again. But now, NOW as he looked at his former Captain…..hell his Former friend….he didn't know what to do

"Yoon I wanna talk" Eli Immediately began with a hesitant voice walking up to him

"I….I want you to know that I'm sorry" he said making Yoon step back

Seeing the hesitation in Yoon only forced him to stop walking, Truly understanding the fear within him only leaving Eli to believe this was worse than he thought

"I know….you blame me for Kwon but I promise you I didn't Kill him….I swear to you I didn't want to hurt him. HE ATTACKED ME ! I was just defending myself….You saw he came at me with the knife I…I….."

Starting to hyperventilate, Eli ran his fingers through his hair, his chest heavily breathing, He tried to calm himself but nothing was working as all he could think about was flashes of the Brawl, his fight with Kwon, everything getting so blurry and soon enough he had a scar on his eye and Kwon was face down on the mat

Seeing the mental struggle Eli was facing Yoon scrunched his fist tightly, gritting his teeth so hard they felt like they were gonna shatter

"I knew Kwon…" Yoon began gaining Eli's hurt eyes

"I grew up with Kwon…..We came into the Dojang at the same time"

Looking up lock eyes with Eli, Yoon finally stepped forward approaching Eli

"Sure we were different, Had our differences and yeah I didn't like him. But I still grew with him. As Family"

Eli had quickly seen the expression change within Yoon, his once soft eyes turned angry and rageful every second he continued to look at him

"And the one time, the ONE time we saw eye to eye was when we went to Barcelona, Finally saw each other as something more…..and now…now He's gone"

"Yoo-"

"I know you didn't mean to Hurt Kwon" Yoon bit cutting Eli off

"But I don't care. I know what I want and that's revenge for my Brother's death, And sure Axel did the final blow but you and him were butting heads the moment you stepped foot onto our Island"

The spite, the tone, the anger within his voice Eli's heard before

He sounded exactly like him when Miguel was put in the hospital

Wanting nothing but….revenge

"Like it or not YOU killed Kwon" Yoon said stabbing a knife through Eli's heart

"And today your gonna pay for what you did"

With that Yoon walked away, putting on his Captain's headband leaving Eli alone in the hallway with nothing but his thoughts and his scar that started to burn one again

"This was never Mei's fight" Zara said

Suddenly she was standing right next to him but he didn't even flinch, hell he didn't even move

"We know why you came, why you joined our little "team"."

Continuing to stare forward at the mat watching everyone pack out the arena once more, Zara took a deep breath ready to speak again

"Kwon loved you" Yoon said catching her off guard as she Immediately turned to look up at him

"Kwon…never showed the sign of attraction….hell that sign of Love towards anyone but he loved you"

Turning to look down at Zara, showing his determined face Yoon nodded his head

"I understand your change recently. Losing someone you love hurts…..I….I can't even imagine what you could be going through"

As the Arena continued to pack out the Miyagi-Fang Cobra Kai alliance made their appearances as well, the first thing they see being Zara and Yoon talking about god knows what all making their eyebrows scrunch

"I have the opportunity to do something both of us want. To Avenge Kwon the same way we want him avenged"

Turning their heads to look DIrectly at Hawk, making his heart drop. Zara nodded her head before looking up at Yoon, right when the Other Iron Dragons and Mei returned

"Do it" she confirmed

That was all Yoon needed

As if a bomb went off within him he didn't need any speech, any form of motivation

Placing a hand on Silver's chest stopping him from talking to Yoon, Wolf saw the Determination, the Hunger within his eyes that left him to smirk

Seeing his opponent before him along with everything leading up to this fight, it was safe to say Hawk wasn't the most confident going into this

Too much was on his mind even going into this alone but seeing full force how deep in hatred Yoon was he knew this was gonna be far from non dramatical

"Hey Kid" Barnes said making Hawk turn around

Immediately once he did he saw everyone standing there before him

"You ready ?"

From Tory and Mikes Barnes to Johnny, Chozen, Daniel Sam, Robby and the others

The lack of focus was painted all over Eli, it was clear he was within his own head and the Sensei's knew this as they all looked at one another

"You can do this Eli" Daniel said much to everyone's agreement

"Lock in. Trust your skills" Chozen added making Eli nod his head whilst sucking in some of his breath

"Doesn't matter how many people are watching or what's happening going into this fight. It's just you and him on the mat. This is between you two it's personal so focus up"

Looking back at Yoon's death glare, Eli's stomach dropped again this time making him lick his lips but still he nodded his head right before a buzzer went off signaling the start of the match getting the Team's attention

"WILL BOTH FIGHTERS STEP ONTO THE MAT !" Vidal said making the crowd erupt at the fact that the second fight was happening

Looking back and forth at Yoon then his team's confidence in him. Eli shook his head before stepping onto the mat, leaving Tory the only one concerned

She knew him well

Hell she knew him better than anyone besides Demetri

But even know only she saw what he didn't

Only because she saw it during the All Valley

Eli was scared

Before he could step on the mat, Silver placed a hand on Yoon's shoulder before leaning in close to his ear

"I gave you the keys to the Kingdom, Your chance at enacting Revenge for your Brother, the chance to correct history and Make Moskowitz pay for what he's done, Don't waste it"

With that Silver let go, But Yoon had only looked back at the older man and nodded his head seriously

"Yes, Sensei" he said before stepping on the mat himself leaving everyone to watch as he and Eli met in the middle right between Vidal

With both sides getting their fairshares of cheers, Screaming Fans chanting "Hawk" over and over again while other fans chanted "Yoon" over and over again the atmosphere was real within the building

But even though that atmosphere, The two fighters held different expressions as Yoon couldn't have been more serious while Eli looked like he could barely breathe

"Fighters, Face me. Bow" they did

"Face each other" Vidal said leaving them to look at one another

Immediately looking at Yoon, Hawk's stomach dropped due to him thinking on all the past times they shared,

Having to fight the one person that accepted him and Tory with opened arms, The one person always in their corner through the Tournament…..it hurt…..hurt like hell

"Bow"

Giving a genuine Bow to one another Vidal put his hands up

"Fighting-"

Before Vidal could even continue, Yoon struck first blood Immediately giving Eli a front Kick breaking through his bow hitting him Directly in the face starting the match

The move wa sso fast and so direct it made the Miyagi-Fang and Cobra Kai alliance shocked as it was even shown on their faces given a mix of confusion and hint of Anger

"Hey what the hell !" Miguel shouted but that didn't stop a point from being added making Silver and Wolf Grin

Quickly in his fighting stance, Yoon didn't led him jumping into a flying Kick, Eli scaringly moved out the way from, but he didn't see the roundhouse, Yoon threw striking him directly in the face shooting blood from his mouth making Tory's eyes go wide

"POINT !" Vidal yelled making the counter go 2-0

With his hands up, Eli blocked Yoon's jab to jab with a gasp but Yoon Immediately grabbed his arm and pulled him close so that he could kick him in the gut scoring another point before grabbing his head so that he could clash his face into his knee deeming another point

Continuing the assault, Yoon punched Elin in the face making the counter go 5-0 but Eli had Immedialty blocked his neck jab locking their arms

But that didn't stop Yoon from jumping up in a chest kick Knocking Eli to the ground making him flop so hard he landed on his gut

"POINT !" Vidal yelled again turing 5-0 into 15-0

Immediately looking at one another with concerned faces Robby, Sam, Miguel, Demetri and Tory had faces of disbelief not even knowing what to say

Seeing Yoon rush towards him, Eli quickly got to his feet so that he could block his side to side kick, But Eli soon found that he couldn't keep up with Yoon's striking speed

Throwing jab after jab barley keeping Eli on the defensive, Yoon had spun and struck an Elbow Eli blocked but that was exactly what he needed to turn again and throw a punch striking Eli directly in the face breaking his defense

"POINT !"

Forcibly picking Eli up as he was stumbling, Yoon struck a knee again hitting him in the gut followed by a jab to the face only upping his counter

Throwing his first offensive move of the match with a punch, Yoon had easily slapped the attack away before striking a kick to Eli's gut ending with a punch to the face dropping him to his knees

"POINT !"

Staying on his knees. Eli needed a second to spit out the pool of blood within his mouth, the blood blended with the Red mats to well that after seconds he didn't notice it was there

Wiping the blood from his mouth Eli took a second to turn to the stunned look on his friends faces

Seeing their reaction to him….different

Looking back at the overly enjoyed Iron Dragon Side. With Zara's beyond joyful smirk for once looking like her old self along with the other Iron Dragons, Axel's usual cold demeanor and Mei's shocked expression not knowing Yoon was capable of this much ferocity. Yoon had looked at Silver's grin soon seeing his head nod of approval

Looking up at the scoreboard that read 30-0 Yoon cracked his neck before pouncing again

Right when Eli got up, Yoon had jumped in a twist flip before extending his leg flip kicking Eli in the face knocking him down once more leaving the Horn to finally honk signaling a much needed end

Letting out a ferocious Roar making the crowd pop in a cheer, Vidal pushed Yoon along to his side while Eli stumbled to get up barely able to stand after the ass beating he just received

Huffing his breath and trembling with his words as he returned to his side, Eli didn't know where to begin or what to say, or even how to think everything felt fuzzy and so lost to him while everyone tried to calm him down telling him to breathe

"I can't beat him" Eli cried while Barnes tried to calm him down

"He's gotten better, he's faster, more ferocious, he's angry"

"Eli" Daniel said but Eli continued

"I don't have any counters to his moves"

"Hawk !" Johnny yelled but still Eli continued

"He was playing with me out there it's only gonna get worse"

"Eli-San !" Chozen shouted but still Eli's voice started to shake

"I shouldn't have came here, I'm only making things worse, for myself, for the team, if Yoon reaches the finals we can all say-"

"ELI SHUT UP !" Robby, Tory, Miguel, Sam and Demetri all yelled finally getting through to him as he finally for once shut the hell up

"Kid listen to me" Barnes said gaining Eli's desperate pleading eyes

"You've been alone for a while, We understand, you've distanced yourself from everyone after what happen and as much as you try to run from it it's time to embrace what happened"

Immediately Eli's scar started to burn from the thought of it making him wince in front of everyone

He brought a hand up to try and touch it but he ended up just gripping his fist tightly into a ball

"...It's my fault" he admitted with harsh realization

"I'm the reason Kwon died…."

Looking at one another they all thought about the words that came out of Eli's mouth, the pain that he held in this whole time and where it stemmed from was revealed to them all

"No it's not" Tory said getting his attention

Walking up to him, Tory put a hand on his shoulder, the feeling of her touch being the one bit of comfort he's gotten in…..god knows how long

"Eli, what happened in Barcelona is no one's fault. It was an accident from a situation that spiraled out of control, You can't blame yourself for that-"

"But-"

"BUT NOTHING !" Tory shouted making him jump

"Eli what happened in Barcelona you need to let go, that pain your holding is gonna eat you up inside, hell look what it's doing to you now"

Thinking upon Tory's words, Eli licked his lips before shaking his head

Looking back at Yoon who was being praised and cheered by his side, Eli still didn't feel confident

"Guys I can't do this…." he said looking at his side

"Hell all I've recently done was get my ass kicked….if there's one thing I know how to do it's take a punch….as you can see"

Looking at one another, Robby, Sam, Miguel, Tory and Demetri all grew similar ideas

"Your right" Miguel said making Eli look at him

"But you take one better than all of us" Miguel said making Eli raise a brow

With small smiles upon their faces everyone started to catch onto Miguel's drift

Nodding her head with a smile Sam spoke up

"When we fought at the Arcade how did you respond" she said Immediately making him grin

"I broke into your house and hit you back" he said making them both chuckle

"When I kicked you into that Trophy case was that just the end" Demetri said making Eli smile even more

"Definitely not, had your arm in a cast for months" he responded making them both chuckle and fist bump

"I think we've both kicked each other's ass enough times to know that you can take a hit" Robby said leaving that to be enough to get their point across

Seeing what they were saying with a smile on his face, Daniel nodded his head

"You have an unbreakable spirit Eli" Daniel began leaving everyone to listen to him

"You can not only take a hit, but get back up and deliver one two times stronger"

"Yeah" Johnny agreed

"You're one of the most badass fighters I've ever seen so if you think we're just gonna let you sit here and cry about the past you've got another thing coming !"

Feeling the energy within him, Eli felt something he hasn't felt in a while

Purpose

Seeing not just the fans that were there for him, but the family he had supporting him made him feel like he had a purpose of being here, a reason why he needed to fight

"So Kid I'm gonna ask you again, Are you ready ?" Mike Barnes asked him looking him dead in the eyes

Looking at the people in his corner, Eli for the first time today nodded his head and smiled making everyone smile as well

Hawk was back

"Let's fucking do this" Hawk smirked before Immedialty turing around when the Horn blared signaling the fighters to turn

Placing a hand on Daniel's shoulder Barnes sighed

"You think this is gonna work Daniel" Barnes said making Daniel tick his head

"Just gotta have faith" he said as Eli and Yoon bowed to one another

"And a lot of prayer…"

"Fighting Stance !"

Not showing any sign of Hesitation, Eli let out an aggressive "AIS !" as he got into his stance making Silver and Wolf's grin fade away

Even Yoon himself showed signs of hesitation, raising an eyebrow in confusion on where his newfound confidence came from

"What is happening, I thought Yoon beat the confidence out of him" Wolf said while Silver fixed his tie uncomfortably

"FIGHT !"

Striking first, Yoon threw a kick Eli blocked before switching to a three set jab each attack Eli blocked ending with an aggressive shove making Yoon stumble back

Looking back at his team in confusion of where Eli got his confidence from, Yoon thought nothing of it, just shaking his head and getting back into his fighting position

Staying strong on the defensive, Eli pounced within his fighting position, Quick to block Yoon's kick High kick before raising his leg up to dodge his leg sweep

Everyone in the arena watched as Eli stayed heavily on the defensive, blocking each and every jab Yoon sent his way, low ab to high jab, using his elbow to stop him mid punch before moving his arm so that he could reel back dodging Yoon's wildly aggressive swing

No one knew what happened during the timeout to Hawk but what they knew was he looked completely different than he did minutes ago

Blocking Yoon's high punch before blocking his quick kick into a high kick he dodged, Yoon started to speed up but this time Eli kept up

Spinning to attempt a spinning punch Eli dodged before using both his wrist to block his attempted punch before spinning himself blocking his other hand's punch leaving Eli to quickly duck down under his spinning high kick so that he could reply with a fast and harsh uppercut drawing his first point and first blood of the round

"POINT !"

Immediately the crowd cheered in favor of Hawk while his own side and friends started jumping up in down of the 1- 40 reaction

Clutching his nose that started to bleed, Yoon let out a growl before wiping the blood. Seeing Hawk's amped reaction only made it worse as now he started to bounce in place even more confidently

Not waiting any longer Hawk was the first to strike jumping in a superman Punch that Yoon dodged leaving him to quickly clash arms in a block before blocking his low jab leaving Eli to quickly respond with two fast punches to the fast claiming points making the counter 3-40

Breaking away from each other the two boys quickly went back to fighting. Hawk throwing another punch that Yoon grabbed, attempting to throw a harsh swing that Hawk ducked under quickly so that he could jab Yoon in the gut twice making him groan

Pushing him gaining more space Hawk threw a quick kick that Yoon blocked into another but this time Yoon grabbed his leg

But Almost Immediately Hawk jumped up in a spinning back Kick, Kicking Yoon so hard he dropped to the mat while Hawk landed on his feet making everyone jump in reaction

"YESS !" His teamed side reacted giving into the momentum he had within the round even more so seeing the 15-40 point marker

Hawk himself started to feel the tides shift watching Yoon let out a groggy groan while he himself let out a yell hyping himself up

"COME ON !" Eli shouted making Yoon growl quickly banging his hand on the mat before placing a hand down on the mat to try and sweep kick him to no prevail

Jumping up attempting a spin kick, Eli moved out the way and Immediately kicked his chest knocking him to the ground again making Silver's head shake as the counter changed to 25-40

Rolling into a flip getting back to his feet, Yoon Immediately blocked Eli's jab before moving back to dodge his wild swing

Attempting a strike that Eli ducked under, The Captain Immediately grabbed Yoon and kneed him in the gut claiming a point before reeling back so that he could headbutt Yoon dropping him to one knee with a groan

Blocking Eli's Kick, Yoon grabbed his leg stopping his attack, But Eli just quickly grabbed onto Yoon's shoulders and rolled down fully to the ground so that he could launch the Captain over his head forcing him to the ground yet again

"POINT !" Vidal yelled making everyone cheer with the current 37- 40 counter

Doing a Kick up to get to his feet Eli quickly saw Yoon getting back up as well

Quickly jumping to his feet, Yoon charged at Eli attempted a punch that Eli blocked before responding with a punch to the face

"POINT ! MOSKOWITZ !"

Attempting another Swing, Eli maneuvered his arm out the way so that he could grab his head and clash his knee into his face

"POINT ! MOSKOWITZ !"

Pushing Yoon away Eli struck one last time jumping up in a spin performing the Tornado Kick that was so fast and perfected Yoon splat out blood from his mouth that second his foot connected knocking him to the ground one final time as the horn had honked

Jumping in a cheering reaction for Hawk's successful comeback round the Iron Dragon side was the only part of the Arena not cheering as Hawk stood over Yoon letting out a monstrous victory Roar at his comeback While Yoon shook his head barely getting up

If the atmosphere of the arena was anything before this, This new one was…..indescribable. It has the whole building rocking from wall to wall as Eli had to take a second and soak it all in, all the people cheering for him making him do nothing more but smile before he returned to his team

"THAT'S WHAT THE HELL I'M TALKING ABOUT !" Barnes shouted grabbing him in a hug making him chuckle while everyone else surrounded him in equal celebration

"THAT WAS AMAZING !" Daniel said making Hawk grin now through tired huffs

"You not only came back ! but you're ahead by nine points !"

Nodding his head Johnny was equally as excited and proud

"Ready to bring this home Hawk"

Taking a second to look at his family, Nothing stopped the blue and blacked haired teen from smiling as he knew where his strength came from

"Let's finish this !"

Returning to his side bruised and beat Yoon didn't know where to begin

"I…I'm sorry" he said to everyone

"Hawk….got his confidence back he's a fearless with it, It's like hitting solid rock that hits back-"

"Enough with the excuses. That was PATHETIC !" Wolf yelled making Yoon flinch

"You let him come back 40 POINTS ! AND HAVE A NINE POINT LEAD AHEAD OF YOU !"

Shaking his head at his own disappointment, Yoon turned to Axel, Zara and Mei but they too had no words for him

Quitness was a common trend among the team, but with a simple eye look from Silver who held his own tired expression. The older man nodded his head and Sensei Wolf stepped up to Yoon and started to whisper in his ear

Hearing the words the man spoke, Yoon's eyes Immediately went wide before he looked back at Eli and soon his own Sensei

"Ar….Are you sure ?"

"You wanted revenge right ?" Wolf said making Yoon swallow the lump in his throat

How far would he go to get his revenge ?

That simple question only left him to think as the Horn was honked again signaling both fighters to return to the mat

Looking back and forth between Yoon and Wolf Axel's eyebrow was raised in suspicion before he looked at Zara's serious expression

Mei herself had her own form of confusion but still it only left him to wonder about the future as Yoon fixed his Gi before returning back to the mat

Standing in the middle of the mat, Yoon saw Hawk jump onto the mat confidently, no more fear ridden within him only confidence within himself that carried from the edge all the way to the center

"This is it, Gentlemen. Final Round. Good luck" Vidal commended both of them

With the crowd the loudest it's been all day, Eli huffed his breathe and got into his fighting position, While Yoon smacked his fist and performed a new Kata revealing a new fighting position

"FIGHT !"

With both boys letting out ranging Yells, Both Hawk and Yoon struck a high kick clashing with one another

When their foots hit the ground, Hawk threw a punch Yoon dodged, striking a gut punch and face punch

"POINT ! DO-JIN !" Vidal said making it 42-49

Throwing a side kick to side kick into a high roundhouse all attacks, Eli blocked before dodging, Eli struck his own series of jabs leaving Yoon to block his first two before getting hit by the second and third in the face causing more blood to spill

Reeling back to dodge his swing, Yoon dropped down sweeping Eli's leg gaining 10 knockdown points making the score 52-49 but Eli Immediately did a kickup to his feet dodging Yoon's strike so that he could respond with another face punch cracking 50 points

Huffing their breaths at one another with their anger at each other the highest it's ever been. Both boys thought about the moments that lead them here, Training together, fighting together, the Tournament, Kwon, Kim's Dojang. Everything that led them to this fight made both of them yell as hard as they could before attacking

Blocking Eli's kick, Eli blocked Yoon's pushing him back so that he could jump up in a spin kick just barley missing

Blocking Eli's attempted High Kick, Yoon have aggressively shoved Eli's leg away before soon enough jumping up in his own Tornado kick

But instead of aiming for Hawk's face

Yoon struck Hawk's leg

CRUNCH

"GAHHHHH !"

It all happened way to fast

Immediately dropping to the ground in a screaming pain and cry the once loud and rocking audience went dead silent in gasps and mummers of confusion

Everyone in Miyagi-Fang and Tory and Barnes had the most jaw dropping reactions hearing Hawk cry out in pain as he laid there on the ground rolling on his back

"Eli….ELI ! ELI ! ELI !" Demetri yelled pushing past everyone making himself first on the mat for inspection while Miguel, Robby, Sam and Tory were quick to follow right behind him

Moving so fast he slid on the mat next to his best friend, Demetri clutched Eli's hand and he already knew how bad it was due to how hard Eli clutched back

"Eli ! Eli ! Eli ! what's wrong, what's wrong man talk to me COME ON TALK TO ME !"

"MY KNEE ! GAH ! MY KNEE !" Eli damn near shouted making the five of them look at each other in distress

Finally approaching the situation, Daniel and Johnny joined the teens already hearing the situation unfold

"Medic ! SOMEONE CALL A MEDIC !" Daniel yelled as Johnny had replaced Demetri in holding his hand

"It's alright Hawk, stay with me, we're gonna get you help stay with me ok"

Continuing to watch his best friend squirm in place, Demetri tried to contain the tears in his eyes as he turned to face Yoon who stood there before walking away with no reaction

Balling his fist up with a growl Robby, Miguel, Sam and Tory already knew how he was feeling but Demetri couldn't hold in his anger

"You did this on purpose…" he mumbled to Yoon as Yoon returned back to his side but still that didn't stop Demetri from charging at him needing both Miguel and Robby to stop him from continuing

"YOU DID THIS ON PURPOSE !"

Looking at the scene before him Axel knew he was right about his bad feeling but what was worse was seeing the look of disappointment on Sam's face that made him turn away from her

Not having the strength to look at Eli Tory suddenly felt herself start to spiral again, the one person the ONE thing she had in her life the one…..one fucking safe thing she had was damanged….again….hurt AGAIN

And turning to see Zara's sick smiling grin for the first time today didn't make it any better

Zara did a little fake pout added with a breaking heart with her fingers

Tory knew Zara was doing that to get under her skin

The bad part was…..it worked

The medics finally came to aid to Eli but Daniel himself had questions of his own to Vidal

"Shouldn't that be a disqualification ?" he asked getting Johnny's attention

"From what I saw, it was an accident, Kid was twiring in the air, leg was positioned the wrong way-"

"Wha-"

"Soooo No points scored"

"I mean I…."

Not knowing what to say due to the situation, Daniel was left dumbfounded and honestly quite pissed while Eli laid there on the ground huffing his breathe with Johnny and Barnes looking over him

"We're gonna get you on your feet. Ready ?" the medic's said as they started to pick up Hawk making him groan

"Put your weight on us ready"

With a loud groan Hawk started to be carried away with Barnes while Johnny got to his feet joining not only Daniel but the teens as well leaving everyone to emotionally watch Hawk head to the back room

"We will push back the match and wait for Eli Moskowitz's results, so Next up is Second Girls Semi Final, Zara Malik vs Samantha LaRusso"

Receiving pats on the back by the other Iron Dragons, Wolf, Zara and Mei, Yoon kept his head down in a deep feeling of Shame as Tory looked at no one but him

Looking at all the events unfold, Axel didn't know what to think

But there was one thing he understood through it all

Looking on the mat he and Robby looked at one another in a great stare down

Disspoting dropping his head, everyone felt Eli's saden sigh with the populated locker room minus the medics being Daniel, Johnny, Barnes, Chozen, Robby, Sam, Miguel, Demetri and of course Tory

Angrily banging his hand on the locker Daniel spooked everyone letting out a small
"Dammit !"

Shaking his head Daniel couldn't take this loss

"Ch-Chozen, do you know how to..uhh"

Rubbing his hands together to try and spark something anything Chozen simply shook his head

"Heat massage not magic, Daniel-san" Chozen said making Daniel drop his head

"Broken bone needs time to heal"

Nodding his head Daniel soon shook it in disbelief

"I just can't believe Silver's gonna get away with this…."

Not having anything to say, Eli put his hands up to his face trying to hide his tears

It wasn't working

The emotional sight only left everyone to look at each other not knowing what to say

"Hey I think we should give Eli some space" Daniel suggested and everyone very much agreed

Lightly tapping Eli on his shoulder Chozen smiled

"Take all the time you need, Eli-San" he said leaving Eli to nod his head

Lightly punching Eli in his arm Johnny just smiled at his core student while Daniel himself took one final look at him before walking out as well

Looking down at Eli, Tory shook her head

"I can't believe Yoon would stoop that low, He fucking cheated ! I'm gonna murder him and his entire damn team !"

"Yeah dude we're gonna make them pay for what they did to you" Miguel agreed

"In this together right" Robby stated

Looking around the people he surrounded himself with. Eli noticed Demetri sulking in the corner, his arms crossed and a glare on his face

"What's wrong D" Eli began making them all look at Demetri

"This is Karma for breaking your arm remember"

It was a cheap attempt of a joke but hell he was the one hurt so he figured he had the authority to make it

But it seemed like no one was in the joking mood

Looking up at Robby and Sam, Eli sighed

"You guys should get going, my fights probably gonna get canceled and you guys have the hardest opponents yet…..plus with Yoon in the finals Robby your gonna have to face two assholes"

Forming a small grin Robby shook his head

"Was really looking forward to that rematch" he said finally brining a grin on Eli's face

"Go Kick some ass for me out there yeah"

Looking at one another Robby and Sam formed a small smile before nodding their heads as with a final look at their friend and a comforting tap the couple made their leaves

"You guys should all go support them as well" Eli said Immediately making Miguel groan

"Dude-"

Miguel, Demetri and Tory all looked at one another knowing deep down he was right but still Eli doubled down by taking Tory's hand getting her attention

Pursing her lips, Tory swallowed the lump within her throat before soon enough nodding her head and caving

"I'm sorry Eli" she said before letting go and walking out brining a saddened Miguel and Demetri with her making his two best friends look back at him with emotion in their eyes

But soon enough it was just him in that locker room

Walking over his Med Bed Barnes had sighed sadly seeing Eli in his condition….knowing how hard he worked to get to where he got, knowing the decisions he made to get here…..

With everyone gone not able to see him like this, tear started to escape Eli's eyes, he tried to purse his lips and hold in his emotion but that wasn't working at all

"I could've won" he Immediately said with a sniffle

"...After everything I did….top 3 for Captain….betraying you guys….Joining Cobra Kai…Fighting hard throughout the entire Tournament just to lose to you all again…..I ended up getting a second chance but I gave it away to someone who I thought would do more with it then me but…look where that got me"

Looking up at the scar on his eyes Barnes shook his head as Eli sniffled again

"You know I woke up today…and I didn't even think I had a chance…I thought I was gonna be deadweight…..so after everything I went through….it…..it just….sucks….knowing I could've won"

Continuing to look up at the ceiling Eli rubbed his eyes again

Turning his head to look at Barnes For the first time since he got in here Eli genuinely smiled

"But I do" he said making Barnes smile

"I did my best…fought with honor….didn't take the dirty way…fight like a pussy"

Wiping the tears from his face Eli shrugged his shoulders

"That's what really matters right ?...now about how we start the fight but how we finish it….what we gain from it"

Looking Eli up and down Barnes was proud of the kid, seeing how he was taking everything

"You're taking this way better than I ever could. Back in my prime if I even thought about losing I'd throw myself down a flight of stairs" he said making Eli cryingly chuckle

Swallowing the lump within his throat Eli smiled as he looked at Barnes

"You know I was always jealous of Miguel and Robby…..that they had these Mentor figures…these Father figures, Robby had Mr LaRusso and Miguel had Sensei Lawrence…and I wanted one….so bad"

Pursing his lips, Eli soon licked them as now Barnes started to tear up

"And I thought Kreese was it but he definitely prefers Tory over me…..I don't blame him….she is a badass"

With a chuckle from the both of them, Barnes took Eli's hand only flowing his tears more

"Out of everyone you chose me to train….Ever after I spent 4 days beating the shit out of you all"

Nodding his head Barnes couldn't help himself from smiling

"And I'd do it again in a heartbeat, Because like I said before you're as good as anyone. And the way you stood today…proves my point. And that makes you a real winner" he said making Eli smile which only made him teary smile

Not able to hold their emotions anymore, Eli and Barnes had hugged, leaning to each other to hold one another as close as possible

Even though he lost his fight, Eli gained more in the end

With Yoon, Axel, Silver and Wolf standing together, Silver nodded his head pleased with the results

"Meaning tomorrow's matches will be the remaining Semi Finals fights of Robby Keene vs Axel Kovacevic and Samantha LaRusso vs Zara Malik"

Sharing a look with one another, Robby and Sam smiled at each other in confidence

But that confidence soon folded once, Sam clutched her stomach again making Robby raise an eyebrow

She's been doing that all day

And it was really starting to concern him

With the applause given that concluded the first day of the Sekai Taikai leading all of Miyagi-Fang to look at the giant scoreboard

"So what's the odds Sam and Robby score sub 20 points on Axel and Zara without them scoring points back" Devon said causing everyone to look at each other

Sam didn't even want to think about that right now, hell she couldn't as her stomach was fucking killing her

Continuing to clutch her gut painfully, a soft hand touched her shoulder making her jump

But when Sam looked back she was relieved to see it was just Robby

"Oh Robby….hey"

"Hey" he grinned slightly before looking down at her hands placed around her stomach

"You ok ?...you've been looking pale all day and you've been clutching your gut. Is it something you ate ?"

Immediately shaking her head Sam waved him off

"No, no I'm fine…..just nerves I guess"

Not really confident with her answer, Robby decided to leave that as is but still in the back of his mind he wondered what was going on with her

Looking across the Mat, Axel huffed his breath watching the sight but more so knew tomorrow they'd be enemies. But Wolf had soon tapped him signaling their leave.

Finding herself throwing up for the second time today, Sam wiped her mouth and flushed the toilet shaking her head at whatever was going on with her

She should've been shocked, hell her heart should've dropped

But her body felt so sluggish she didn't even care

"Yeah" she weakly responded, leaning on the Kitchen Counter

Pursing his lips on the other side, Robby had opened the door finding Sam in the option she was in making him sigh

"Ok what's wrong with you" he said making her face drop

"How long have you been throwing up, plus the gut clutches and the uneasy feelings"

Letting out his own sigh, Robby walked up to her and turned her around making her look at him

"Hey" he said raising her gin forcing her to look at him

"You can tell me anything"

Avoiding eye contact with him, Sam's face read that she was guilty but he didn't know what

"If I tell you" she began making Robby's headnod

"Do you promise you won't be mad"

Again Robby's headnoded and this time Sam took a deep breathe and palmed her face, she herself was having trouble saying what she wanted to say

So instead of speaking, Sam let go of his hand and simply walked over to her bag

Robby was originally left in complete confusion of what was happening or where Sam was going with this, But when she dug in her bag for a couple of seconds before soon enough revealing a pink plastic stick. Robby's eyes Immediately went wide

Before Robby could even continue, Sam flipped the Pregnancy stick revealing the negative symbol

Robby would lie if he said he didn't take a faint breathe and sigh and even Sam admitted there was some heavy relief on her part as well

That didn't stop her from biting her lip

Mainly because there was still one more secret she is hiding

"I've been getting what I thought were symptoms ever since we got back from Barcelona" she explained, taping the stick on her fingers whole Robby just listened

"Cravings, Throwing up, More sleep. I thought it was just nerves due to the wedding but than My brain started getting ideas that I was pregnant…..thank god I wasn't"

"Yeah you could say that again" Robby joked with a small smile

It was a good joke, but unfortunately Sam didn't see it that way. Only groaning confusing Robby

"Wait so I don't get it, are you mad you're not pregnant ?"

Both Robby and Sam let out their own sighs, mixes of confusion and contemptment running rampant through the room

Ruffling her hair, Sam took a seat on her bed while Robby stays standing, crossing his arms in a thinking position thoughtful of what to even say

"Wait I'm sorry" Robby Immediately said shaking his head as he cut her off

She was about to say something but she soon then stopped herself and licked her lips only making Robby raise his eyebrow more

"I mean…..yes ?"

Her tone was one that was unclear and it just made Robby sigh and flop his arms around which made Sam groan once more

"Look, going through this scare, it made me realize so much about myself, and after being in Barcelona I realized that I want to Travel the world Robby ! I want to see new places, dive into different cultures, try new things. Not be suck being some housewife for the rest of my life !"

Immediately realizing what she said, Sam covered her mouth in a audible gasp as she looked at Robby's quiet yet shocked expression

His face stood cold and blank but it hit Sam all the same

"I'm sorry for running your future" he said before simply walking out of the room

No matter how much she cried after him, Robby still left the room, walking out of the door leaving Sam to stand in the doorframe and watch him walk down the stairs living her to feel even more bad than she did before hand

With the sound of padded footsteps, Daniel came into the indoor Dojo with a smirk on his face knowing Robby was here

"Always hard at work" he said as Robby gave one more punch to the bag before turning around

"Oh….hey Mr LaRusso" robby huffed, shaking his head to try and get some sweat out of his face

Quickly putting his hands up with a smile Daniel shook his head

"Ah no explanation, I understand, Minds all over the place so your trying focus on one thing at a time huh"

Immediately chuckling, Robby should've known Daniel of all people was gonna read him like a book

Walking over to the bench that held his water bottle Robby attempted to grab the item but soon stopped, looking back at the man with his hands on his hips as he continued to contemplate about…everything

"2 years ago if you told me…..that I'd be fighting to become one of the best fighters in the world….that'd It'd be marrying the girl of my dreams…..that'd id have a fixed relationship with my Dad and an actual family that cared about me…..I would've called you crazy" Robby began as Daniel simply listened

"And now here I am and….I-I don't even know how to continue anymore"

Shaking his head in deep thought, Robby sighed heavily

"You know when I was training with Miguel and Demetri I wasn't starting off hot, Axel was kicking my ass, I was doing better before Miguel's mom was in labor but still"

Ticking his head Robby couldn't help but doubt himself

"There's a difference between simulation and reality, and the reality is life is more complicated than any game can make it out to be"

Continuing to Listen to Robby, Daniel had slowly walked up to the boy allowing him to vent

"And now with my mind all….cluttered I don't know what to think. I'm trying to stay focused but with recent events I can't help but think about it all. Everytime I think about something going on in my life It leads to seven other branches that just leave my stomach feeling twisted"

"Well why don't you focus on one thing than" Daniel said leaving Robby to sigh

"Alright, how about the Tournament ? At first I was fighting for myself. Beating Miguel and Eli to become Captain was one thing, a closed book like you said, then when we got to Barcelona it felt like a clock rewinded and suddenly it was about fighting our enemies, Us Versus them. Now….Now everything is so blurry, Eli just got injured and If I beat Axel I'm gonna have to fight Yoon as well ? Hell, I haven't even Won anything !"

Nodding his head Daniel Immediately understood where Robby's fear stemmed from. And Honestly he was gonna build off that but turns our Robby's mouth did it for him

"Every time I get the chance to go all the way I lose in the end, First All Valley Miguel beat me, Second All Valley Eli beat me, Semi Finals Axel whooped my ass. Mr LaRusso every time I get in this moment I lose. Everytime"

With a final sigh, Robby took a seat on the nearby bench and clutched his head just thinking on…..everything and nothing at the same time

"What do you do when everything you know, everything your foundation is built on….feels like it's not enough"

Hearing out Robby's problems, his personal dilemma he was having, Daniel couldn't help but nod his head himself

"yeah….I know that feeling too"

With a sigh, Daniel walked over to Robby before taking a seat right next to him. Letting himself be open and vulnerable to his star student

"For a while now I've been pretty off balance…..I thought that restarting the tournament here would help us close the book on all this the right way. But After what happened to Eli….seeing how no matter which way we put ourselves into this War someone close is always gonna get hurt…I don't know"

Robby simply nodded his head while Daniel took another sigh

"I wish I had the answers for you Robby I really do….But seems like I'm still searching for some of those myself"

It wasn't the answer he hoped to give his pupil but truth be told it was the only one he had

Later that night Daniel went on his own soul searching

Entering the Miyagi-Fang Dojo, Daniel had carefully walked around the place in search of his own answers

Revisiting his roots was always his solution but even now he felt useless, only leaving him to quietly groan as he looked down to find two sand sweepers

"Maybe you know how to win this, Mr Miyagi" Daniel spoke to himself as he walked over to the two items soon putting them on his palms and getting to work with wiping off the dust

"Just tell me what to do…"

"If life were that easy, You wouldn't be here right now" a voice spoke to Daniel making him jump

Immediately turning his head in a shocked reaction, Daniel couldn't believe his eyes

The voice that spoke to him was all to familiar but the body it matched with shook him to his core even more

With a jaw dropped reaction and a face full of surprise Daniel couldn't take his eyes off of Mr Miyagi standing before him, standing in the same place where he taught his once Star Student

"...M…Mr Miyagi…"

"Hai Daniel-San….Miyagi Here"

Taking off the Sweepers, Daniel's legs Immediately felt like jelly, he could barely breathe let alone walk up to his mentor. Too much to say hell to much in his head

Daniel's face was lost as he didn't know whether to be Happy ? Sad Or angry at the current events

"You've grown up" Mr Miyagi said with a smile and a chuckle, his arms folded forward while he looked around at the dojo

"Dojo has not changed…..Although, Sign outside says otherwise"

It was a cheap attempt of a joke, One Daniel didn't find humorous at the moment because he was still baffled upon seeing his Mentor's face

"Why….why didn't you tell me you fought in the Sekai Taikai ?" Daniel suddenly asked, dropping Mr Miyagi's face but Daniel had only continued with his outburst. His voice suddenly getting louder

"That you killed ! someone !?"

Looking Daniel up and down with his own disappointed face. Daniel scrunched his fist angrily

"WHY DID YOU LEAVE ME ALL ALONE ?! WITHOUT ANY ANSWERS !"

Shaking his head, Daniel tried to keep his calm but he was failing miserably

"I've been fighting so hard ! SO HARD ! Mr Miyagi, trying to do what you would do…..But we can't win. WE NEVER WIN ! THERE'S ALWAYS ONE MORE BATTLE ! ALWAYS ONE MORE FIGHT ! IT NEVER ENDS AND, AND, AND I'M SICK OF IT !"

With his voice cracking and tears starting to steam from his eyes Daniel once again shook his head feeling like a teenager all over again

"I've watched these kids give it there all ! and all they're doing is getting shit for it. Robby and Sam's minds are lost, Demetri's heart is full of rage, Eli's been fighting a war he didn't even need to be in, Tory's Been on her own for so long, and Miguel's been on the bad end of the tournament this whole time….How can I teach that doing the right thing is the right choice when Evil continues to win time and time again. That walking away, not throwing the first punch, and making peace with our enemies only ends in disaster again and again and again…"

"Daniel-San" Mr Miyagi said finally cutting Daniel off as he started to approach him

"Answer same place as always" Mr Miyagi Said, placing his hand on Daniel's heart

"Remember, Miyagi teach win, lose no matter. Fight isn't what makes us who we are, It's what we take from fight that matters afterwards"

Opening his eyes, Daniel had suddenly woken up in his bed

It'd been a dream

But it didn't feel like just a dream

Because it was more than that, It was an eye opening. A revelation that he needed to see the truth behind the foundation of what Miyagi-Do really stood for

Placing their gear within the bags, Both Robby and Sam grabbed their Gi's. The color coordinated uniforms being the last thing that needed to be placed

Looking at one another in a quick glance, Robby and Sam soon looked down at their pieces of clothing

Rubbing a soft thumb over the Pink LaRusso and Green Keene, Robby and Sam let out small sighs before soon enough shoving the Gi's into their bags before zipping them up

And with a final sling over their shoulders the couple left the room ready to face the battle of today

"EVERYONE WELCOME !" Gunther said getting the entire Arena's attention

Looking upon the adoring crowd, Gunther stood between the four final competitors needing to fight

With Robby and Sam on his left looking directly at Axel and Zara on his right tension was high between the 2 different sets of captains as they looked at their opponents

"With our final appointed matches of the Semi Finals this will determine who will join Tory Nichols in the finals, and after our final two matches we will determine the continuation status of Eli Moskowitz vs Yoon Do-Jin"

The entire Miyagi-Fang team couldn't help but look to the side seeing Yoon stand far off the mat from Axel and Zara, glares being shot his way still not happy about what he did to Eli but the feelings were very much mutual

"I feel these final four contestants need no more introduction or explaining So Let's get straight into the matches ! With Miyagi-Do Captain Samantha LaRusso vs Iron Dragon Captain Zara Malik !"

With a cheering crowd, the two sets of Captains looked dead at each other

Cracking her neck, Zara already had enough anger within her to fuel her for this fight and Sam could see right through it. She understood the anger held within the girl it was the backbone of her motivation

Looking directly at Axel again no words needed to be said between the two boys, enough bad blood there as is but they trusted they'd get their fight in due time

Stepping between the 4 Captains, Vidal looked at them all, soon reporting them back to their Sensei's. A command they followed as Axel and Zara went over to Sensei Wolf and Silver while Robby and Sam went over to Johnny and Daniel

Approaching their Sensei's Wolf glared at his Star Students

"You two are trained for this, These two are nobodies. You will dispose of them as nobodies" Wolf said in a dark deeming voice

Zara simply nodded her head understanding his every word, But Axel couldn't help but look back at Sam with hesitation

"AXEL !" Sensei Wolf's voice Immediately erupted getting the Boy's attention back once more

"Eyes. On. Me" he said making Axel quickly nod his head

"You guys go this" Johnny confidently said Robby and Sam

"Trust your skills, Kick these guys asses, and see you in the finals" Johnny stated making them nod their heads

Sparing a look at one another, Sam and Robby wanted to say something to each other but the sound of a horn honking stopped them signaling that it was time

So instead, They just spared each other a headnod before soon enough Sam took the mat leaving Robby, Johnny and Daniel to watch

Stepping on the Mat, Zara had quickly felt a hand grab her

Originally she thought it was Wolf or even Silver but she was quite shocked to see it wa Axel with a worried look on his face

"What ?" she asked making Axel lick his lips

With a quick eye diverge seeing Sam on the mat waiting, there was hesitation within Axel before he spoke to her

"Just….take it easy on her" he pleaded genuinely surprising Zara

"Just win the match quickly so we can move on

Looking back at Sam, a smirk soon formed upon Zara's face before she looked back at Axel. forcing his hand off of her

"Don't worry. I will make this quick"

With that Zara was gone and Axel had watched her take her place on the mat across from Sam with a worried feeling within his gut

Immediately pouncing in place, Zara felt beyond amped for this fight, Making Sam look her up and down in confusion more so concern seeing the smirk on her face

Turning to face Vidal both Sam and Zara bowed

Immediately getting into their fighting positions, Sam stood a strong stance with her fist up while Zara kept her hands down bouncing around on the mat

Immediately striking, Zara jumped out with a quick front kick making Sam move out the way, But Zara Immediately followed up with an even faster roundhouse making Sam drop to the mat as she tried to block

Quickly trying to catch Zara with a leg sweep the girl did a twist flip over the attack

Getting back to her feet, Sam continued to hold her strong stance, walking around in a circle making Zara smirk as she still hasn't raised her hands yet

"The cute girl from the elevator" Zara said spoke within the fight as the do walked around

"I'm surprised you and your dojo lasted this long"

Trying not to give into Zara's bait, Sam decided to go into the offensive

Throwing a quick jab making Zara dojo into a front kick to high kick two attacks Zara blocked, the girl only laughed this time keeping Sam uneasy

"The little Proposing was cute though, with you and Keene. People ate that shit up"

Huffing her breathe, Sam shot out a high kick into a back roundhouse leaving Zara to Immediately dodged the attack

Grabbing Sam's arm blocking her punch Zara kept her close while she continued to smirk

"You know Robby's cute" Zara said making Sam growl

Trying to tug out of their hold, Zara only continued to hold them close making Zara chuckle

Watching the fight on the Miyagi-Fang side, Tory had only shook her head not liking the amount of talking happening and Robby only agreed scrunching his fist nervously

"Maybe after I beat your ass and drop Nichols in front of everyone in the finals, I'll take him home with me. Show him what real pleasure looks like-"

Not wasting a single Second, Sam Didn't hesitate

Immediately giving Zara a fast and serious headbutt forcing her to let go. Everyone gasped in reaction at Sam's sudden brutality including her own team

"POINT !" Vidal yelled as Zara stumbled back but still continuing to smirk as she looked up at the anger within Sam's eyes

"Alright Pretty girl, I'm-"

Throwing a harsh and wild hitting swing hitting Zara directly in the face claiming another point. Zara tried to fight back but Sam had only blocked her attack with a Kata that Immediately made Robby and Daniel's eyes go wide

"Shit !" Daniel said as Sam blocked Zara's attempted punch and slammed her fist into Zara's arm making it go numb

"no….no…no…no….SAM NO !" Robby yelled seeing her actions

With a shocked expression everyone saw how brutal Sam was fighting but more importantly it raised some strange faces seeing Zara respond with her own swing that Sam dodged before striking a punch in Zara's arm making it fall limp as well

Not able to move her arms Zara looked at Sam in complete confusion but that didn't stop the anger within her eyes and the pissed off expression all upon her face

Not able to move her arms, Zara tried to kick but Sam had Immediately kicked away her leg dropping her to one knee

"TIMEOUT ! TIMEOUT !" Daniel tried to call but it didn't matter

With a mix of heavy confusion, Sam turned her head seeing Robby being the one who grabbed her arm

His face spoke a expression of distress that only confused Sam more as he pried her off of Zara

"Robby, what are you doing ?! I-"

"Samantha LaRusso" Gunther suddenly said getting her attention

"Due to using an unsportsmanlike technique that rendered your opponent immobilized and unable to fairly fight. You have been disqualified from the Semi Finals" he confirmed making not just her eyes but the rest of the Miyagi-Fans go wide in shock

"WHAT ! COME ON THAT'S BULLSHIT !" Johnny groaned while Daniel was left speechless not knowing what to say only left clenching his arms

Stepping on the mat so that he could help Zara up, Axel tried his hardest not to look at Sam but when the scoreboard counter went from 138 to 158 for the iron Dragons only making the gap wider than ever. Sam's visible anger was clear as day

"This is bullshit ! She baited me !" Sam yelled pointing at Zara but it only proved useless as right Zara was putting up the perfect act of acting more hurt than she already was

"I am sorry Ms LaRusso but rules are rules, You are disqualified for unsportsmanlike conduct. Please return to your Sensei's"

Robby Immediately started taking Sam back to their side before she could start jeopardizing anything else for the team as a whole, While Axel did the same, Helping Zara walk to their side

But still that didn't stop Zara from looking back at Both Sam and now Tory, blowing a kiss at them and winking only making them both groan

Holding a tight grip on Zara, Axel held un unpleasant face as he looked down at his fellow Captain

"What's wrong now you big Baby" Zara said, stretching her arms to get the blood flowing within it again

"You said take it easy on her, baiting her into disqualification was the best way to do it"

"You could've fought fairly, you didn't have to cheat to win" Axel bit back only making Zara snort

"Trust me, If I wanted to, I'dve gotten those 20 points the other way"

Suddenly her expression changed again, the once joking and playfully demeanor replaced with the cold dead serious expression he was sadly getting used to

"Now we're even. Just worry about your fight and stay out of my way"

Giving Axel a small shove moving him out the way, Zara had returned back to the team where they Immediately congratulated her victory leaving Axel to stand alone lingering within his own thoughts as he gripped his belt tightly

"Sam, It's-"

Not able to even get a word out to his daughter Sam had immediately pushed past Johnny and Daniel heading straight for the locker room making them sigh

Furia De Pantera having an unfinished 119. And if the calling stands for Yoon's fight they'd have 171

And Cobra Kai having 123

Their simple 103 didn't look so good right now

"Well I hate to be the bearer of math news right now" Demetri said getting everyone's attention as they all looked at the scoreboard

"But that fight just set us way back"

Seeing them down 55 points was one thing but knowing Axel was their next opponent was another

"Robby would have to score multiple knockdowns, and the Iron Dragons would have to stop scoring altogether"

"Yeah like that's gonna happen" Kenny groaned

"They've been scoring nonstop and Axel is already a machine, Guys it might be time to face the facts. we lost"

No one wanted to believe what Kenny said but truthfully enough everyone knew deep down he was right

Looking around in confusion Miguel had soon raised his eyebrow

"Hey guys….where's Robby ?" he suddenly said making everyone follow him in looking around for their male Captain

Letting her anger control her actions, Sam let out an aggressive grunt as she slammed her fist into a locker before sitting down on a nearby bench

Huffing her breathe and tapping her toes, Sam shook her head before taking off her Headband

She couldn't believe it

Fuck she really couldn't belive it

She lost in probably the worst way

"All things considered you were beating her ass" a voice said making her look up

Already knowing who it was, Sam shook her head once more and sighed

"Yeah well where did that get me"

With a shoulder shrug Robby nodded his head

Letting the silence brew within the room, Robby went to take a seat next to her

He didn't Immediately say anything, only letting the silence be the only spoken words between them. It wasn't long though when Sam sighed knowing she wanted to say something

"I don't know what's worse…..Letting Zara bait me into getting disqualified or….."

Turning to look at Robby, Sam licked her lips

"The fact that I'm…not mad about it ?"

There was a hint of confusion on Robby's face but Sam had only explained

"It was one thing when we were in Barcelona, fighting the best in the world, the atmosphere, the reasonings, the meanings. Sure we had our ups and downs but we came together as a team to willed ourselves to the last round"

Nodding his head Robby understood where she came from

"But then the Brawl happened, we came back, life….moved on and I-I…I guess I moved on as well ?"

Shaking her head Sam tried to make sense of her words

"When the Tournament started back up I originally thought it was gonna be the closure we Needed….the closure I needed but….Seeing the anger and resentment held within Zara and Yoon, seeing just how hard it is for people to move on….I…..It makes me feel unsure. I mean Robby Tory has so much more riding on this than I do and even if I beat Zara and faced her in the finals would I even have the heart to want to fight her ?"

"It sounds like you've mastered what Miyagi-Do is truly about better than I thought" Daniel's voice had soon echoed through the room making Robby and Sam look at the door frame to see him standing right there

With a small smile on his face, Daniel had approached the two leaving them both to stand up

"When I asked Mr Miyagi to train me" Daniel began, look at Sam

"I thought it was to fight…..then I learned maybe the most important lesson he ever taught me. I was training so I wouldn't have to fight…"

Starting to get emotional, Sam's lips started to quiver as she sniffled her nose

"Then why does it feel like I'm just giving up" she asked but Daniel shook his head while continuing to smile

"Sam you're not giving up, You figured out something that I forget too often. The greatest victory Karate can bring to you is not having to fight at all. Because it's not about what you do in the fight, but what you take from the fight afterwards. And You've chosen To keep your beliefs true, to not give into your anger and continue to be the same person "

Immediately pulling her father into a deeply emotional hug, Sam started to cry within his chest making Daniel sigh

"I'm so proud of you" he said leaving her to softly cry

With a smile, Robby watched the Father and Daughter moment, tears trying to escape his eye that he simply wiped away

Sometimes the best way to end a fight is to not fight at all

"Ok I get it yeah, Sam got disqualified but that doesn't mean we have to stop !" Johnny argued angrily

Looking directly across at his Co-Sensei. Daniel knew he'd have to be the bearer of bad news. With them far behind any team in points and Robby being their last fighter. Their chances only looked worse and worse

"Why are all the original Miyagi-Dos suddenly okay with not fighting ? We know what happened to Hawk wasn't an accident and what were just gonna let those sons of bitches get away with it ? walk away and let them win ?"

"Johnny believe me, I hate that thought too" Daniel sighed

"You know how much it hurts me that Robby's gonna have to just….walk away, from all this, His future, his team. He gave his Blood, sweat and tears into this Tournament and most people think it's gonna be all for nothing"

"Then what is it ?" Johnny asked

"I entered this tournament to share Mr Miyagi's teachings with the world. That's why I was so upset when I learned about his past…..But…..But then I realized, none of that matters. Look, teachers may seem all-knowing, okay ? but they are just human beings like the rest of us"

Hearing Daniel's words Johnny couldn't help but look over at Kreese who was sitting within the stands

"They may have their flaws and their failures, But it's not on us to carry that. Our responsibility is to take the good lesson that we're taught and pass those along. So the fact that Sam and Robby are okay with…not fighting…..means that Mr Miyagi's legacy will live on. Whether we win or lose"

Looking Daniel up and Down Johnny just nodded his head

"I get that, and look that's great for you. I mean it. Seriously" Johnny began making Daniel nod his head

"...But I don't know how to not fight. I was taught then when someone messes with one of us. They mess with all of us, and winning this thing was my last shot"

Pursing his lips in thought of Johnny's words Daniel didn't know how to respond but luckily for him something caught Johnny's eye seeing Kreese walk away

"I'll be right back" he said leaving Daniel only to only think

Opening the back door, Kreese slipped out unnoticed, a sigh escaping his mouth as he rubbed his fingers

He came here expecting one last stand, one last fight from the people he once called his enemies but instead he was left….unresolved

"What the hell was that yesterday ?" Johnny said making him stop in his tracks

"Bringing up all this stuff from the past, What you expect me to forgive you ?"

Letting out a small sigh, Kreese turned around painfully facing Johnny

"I don't deserve forgiveness"

'Yeah, we agree on that" Johnny angrily bit

"Because I'll never forgive you for what you did"

Hearing Johnny's words cut sharp, it hurt more than any physical damage could ever do as he simply stood there and nodded his head not being man enough to look his former student face to face

So instead he just turned around and tried to leave

"I loved you, man" Johnny suddenly said making Kreese's eyes go wide as he stopped once more

"I Idolized you…"

"Every good thing about myself…..Strength, Confidence, Karate…..You taught me"

Taking a few steps up to the man, watching Kreese turn back to finally face him in the eyes Johnny shook his head

"I only wanted to please you"

"So yeah, that night in the parking lot, December 19, 1984 was the single worst moment of my life" Johnny quietly bit full front walking up to the man so that they were mere inches from one another

They were not only physically close but so close that they could both see the emotion on each others faces, the tears starting to brim upon Johnny's eyes, the quiet yet hesitant facial features on Kreese

"But what hurt even more than being choked out was you abandoning me" Johnny said pointing a finger onto Kreese as he tried to keep his emotions from coming out to no prevail as they both looked down in regret while tears started to flow from Johnny's eyes like a waterfall

Shaking his head Johnny gripped his fist tightly and gritted his teeth

"You have no idea…..what those years were like…I TRUSTED NO ONE !" He finally yelled letting the emotions guide his words as Kreese had to close his eyes in a sigh

"LEAST OF ALL MYSELF ! ALL BECAUSE OF YOU !"

Giving Kreese a shove while huffing his breath the two men looked at one another in emotion, silent tears coming from them both knowing the feelings shared between the two were mutual

He himself starting to cry, Kreese tried to place an arm on Johnny's shoulder but the blonde had Immediately swiped it off leaving them to look at one another again in tears

Saying no words, the only noise that populated the halls were the sounds of Johnny's fought back tears, Tears Kreese knew needed to come out so with a hesitant yet sought for Hug, the older man threw all caution to the wind and put his arms around Johnny holding him close

And even though he fought back, Johnny still gave in crying into the man's shoulder while Kreese himself sighed sadly

"I'm so sorry, son" Kreese apologized wholeheartedly as Johnny put an arm on his back holding him close

"I can't…..can't change the past…I…..I wish there was some way I could…..I could make it up to you"

Immediately halting his crying, Johnny's eyes went wide as if an idea went off within his brain

Pulling back from Kreese, looking him dead in the eyes. Johnny thought of a way they could have one last stand in this war, Truly give one last fight

Looking Kreese up and down, Johnny gripped the man's shoulders seriously

"Maybe there is"

With all Teams mathematically defeated, Axel, Zara, Yoon, Silver and Wolf all stood up on stage with Gunther in the middle of the mat mic in his hand

"The Sekai taikai has always been unpredictable, But THIS year has been like no other. Robby Keene has elected not to fight for Miyagi-Fang. Allowing Axel Kovacevic to move onto the finals with his Teammate Zara Malik" Gunther said as all eyes were on Miyagi-Fang seeing the team stand strong with their heads tall, Sam being the Captain in the middle

"Officially ending Miyagi-Fang Karate's impressive and unforgettable Underdog run. Let's give them a round of applause !"

Clapping their hands and cheering for the team Everyone was proud of the journey they had together knowing the memories they made would last forever

Looking at the mat in confusion, Axel raised an eyebrow seeing no other competitors were here besides Sam who already lost

"Sensei Did we win ?" He asked Silver getting Zara and Yoon interested as well seeing that they were indeed the last one's standing

"I…I don't get to fight Keene ?"

"And do I still get to fight Nichols ?" Zara asked

Both Questions Silver shrugged his shoulders too as nothing broke his smirk

"Either way, We've still won"

"This now concludes our semifinal matches. With Cobra Kai not naming a replacement for their fallen Captain Eli Moskowitz. Means that Yoon Do-Jin will move onto the finals against Axel Kovacevic"

With another round of applause, Sam patted Eli on his back in the form of moral support. With his leg in a boot, and crunches holding him up. Eli took a deep breath and sighed trying not to think too much of the disappointment while everyone continued to clap for the two last standing Male fighters

"However" Gunther said cutting everyone off

"Cobra Kai has named a replacement…two in fact"

With the sound Thunderstruck playing in the background Axel, Yoon and Zara stopped clapping along with Sensi Wolf and Silver

"Joining Tory Nichols on Team Cobra Kai, Will be MIGUEL DIAZ ! AND ROBBY KEENE !"

Making the crowd jump out of their seats all eyes went towards the tunnel as everyone Watched Tory, Miguel and Robby walk out from the steam weaning the All Valley Cobra Kai Gi's

With smiles and smirks on their faces, the Miyagi-Fang team couldn't help but clap their hands Loving the sight of Miguel, Robby and Tory in Cobra Kai Gi's

Axel, Zara and Yoon looked at one another in heavy concern and quite confusion of the sudden switch but that didn't stop Gunther from continuing

"Coached by the two-time All Valley Champion and their new Sensei, JOHNNY LAWRENCE !"

Walking to the mat Allowing Johnny to reveal himself, the crowd had only gotten more excited at Johnny's appearance

Continuing to walk, Daniel made a small fist and smile at Johnny before turning to look at Silver giving the man the biggest grin he could muster as Johnny, Miguel, Tory and Robby took to the mat standing across their competition with their hands behind their back

"This is bullshit" Sensei Wolf growled

"Keene opted out against Axel he lost"

"No" Silver cut him off

"He switched sides"

"How can they do that ?"

Giving his own time to think on the question, Silver soon understood how it happened

"They're former Cobra Kai" he said with his own growl

Looking upon the crowd Tory had soon enough seen Kreese in the distance, The older man giving a bow which grew her smile tenfold as she had nodded her head

Seeing who Tory was smiling at, Johnny had soon enough found Kreese as well. Bowing to the man Which he responded with how own bow back

Looking across the mat the three different matchups glared at one another

"THUNDER !"

Miguel glaring at Yoon

"THUNDER !"

Zara and Tory having their own intense staring Match

"THUNDER !"

And Robby and Axel cracking their necks whilst looking at one another with nothing but anger within their bones

"THUNDER !"

Lined up together with Johnny behind them, Tory, Johnny, Miguel and Robby knew this was it

"You've been"

This was their last chance at ending this war

"THUNDERSTRUCK !"
