I went on a trip to Lake Tahoe.

It was a special occasion, for we were going there for the wedding of Steven Jensen and Maggie Beckett, which will be held at an outdoor space on the shire.

I took i9n the sights as I rode in Dr. Isaac Clark's Volkswagen van as it went eastbound on Highway 50, passing through the stoplights in Placerville and climbing the Sierras until we descend to the Tahoe basin. Then we went along a road with many stoplights until we reached Harvey's Hotel and Casino, located on the right side at the state line.

Now that I think of it, wasn't Harvey's and Harrah's on opposite sides in my birth world?

Anyway, we reached Harvey's and I went in to the reception desk to check in. Jensen and Beckett were staying at Caesars Tahoe, where the wedding reception will be held. A whole floor was reserved for us. Dr. Vladimir Jariabek and Brigadier General Angus Rickman stayed on our floor.

And it was down at the Harvey's casino floor where I reunited with Rembrandt Brown- the one from my new home world. He was more than a guest, though. He was going to sing at the reception.

"They helped me reunite with my family," he said. "I figured I'd do this pro bono."

"Your exposure will benefit you indirectly, of course," said Rickman.

"I'm working on a new album," said Rembrandt. "I hope to get it released this year, on vinyl and CD."

There wasn't much else except drinking and playing some of the table games and chatting about our lives.
