It was no surprise.

Quinn, Wade, and Rembrandt had an exclusive live interview at KTVU Channel 2 studios in Oakland with Leslie Griffith. I didn't watch the news too much, preferring to read either a newspaper or an Internet news article.

I definitely wanted to see this though.

They told pretty much the same story they told when I met them at Quinn's house on Deadlight World. They did share things they did not mention when we were there waiting for the slide back home, such as Rembrandt performing in bars in Boston and Philadelphia.

They did not mention that I wasn't really from their world.

They all spoke about rebuilding their lives with the people they love. Rembrandt was smiling that he was paid five figures for this interview.

Then he recalled that five figures was not as much here as it was on Deadlight world.

"I haven't thought of it," said Wade when asked by Griffith of whether she would visit that world where she lived for more than three years.

I was thinking about what I would do. I took a sabbatical to work on bringing them home, and we did. I planned to tell Mr. Almquist and the Yerba Buena staff that I would reduce my hours, working part-time as a consultant, before presuming my professorship at the University.

Would I return to my birth world if I had the chance? And what of my companions? Marc told me they were looking for a way to take down these invaders who conquered my birth world.

Will they succeed?
