This is a concept I was asked to write. It's new and I'm trying to get to come up with a plausible storyline with this. I do not own any of the characters in the Harry Potter franchise or Supernatural. Please be nice to me in the comments. -DSCWIN

Prologue

It was a typical English summer as the rain began to pour down in thick dark sheets. Lilly Potter sighed as she felt her baby began to fuss in her arms which made her smile down at him very sweetly. "It's okay, sweetheart." She cooed gently rocking her baby boy in her arms in the rocking chair her husband had bewitched to rock so she wouldn't tire quickly. "Daddy will be home soon." Though her husband James wasn't the real father of her son, James treated him like his own blood. The young boy's real father was an American, Lilly had met when she went on Holiday to America right before she met and married her husband James.

The man, an American hunter named John Winchester, she met was already a father of two older boys, who she met a few times while she stayed in America and fell in love with them. The oldest of the two boys, Dean had the most gorgeous green eyes but they held a dark secret which she didn't want to pry into. The youngest was barely two and was already proving to be quite brilliant and thought if he was to get his acceptance letter to Ilvermony he would and would do great things. She even believed if his father would have allowed it, the youngest would be one of the brightest Ravenclaw if he was allowed to go to Hogwarts. But John was very protective that she even saw towards her when she told him she was pregnant. He didn't seem too upset but he told her to pack up and leave. To not message him and gave her enough money to survive with reality ease. He did say before she left, knowing he loved her deeply at the airport right after finding out she was pregnant, "If you have a boy, would you name him Harry? It was my father's name. If it's a girl... You name her."

"Fair." Lilly told him before they shared a quick hug and she felt him tremble beneath her.

"I'm sorry, Lilly. Please don't hate me." John had said before he turned and left, not giving her a kiss or anything just left without looking back which made Lilly's chest start to hurt.

"Lilly, I'm home." James' voice echoed from the downstairs and the rocking chair stopped making Lilly slowly stand up leaving her still sleeping son and left the room. "You have a package down here. It's from America. Do you know someone in America? Could it be Harry's father?"

"I don't know." Lilly said carefully walking down the stair and kissed her husband lovingly on the lips and looked down at the package. "I lost contact with him so I don't think it's from him." She looked down at the address written in the unmistakable handwriting of John Winchester. "It looks like it is." She carefully handed Harry to James, who took him gently and kissed his forehead before watching Lilly grab her wand and with a fluid flick of her wrist the tape carefully was cut and the flaps opened.

Inside was a small amount of baby clothes in blues and greens. Some of them had owls and dragons which made her smile knowing the man didn't know truly what she was. A note was carefully written and once again Lilly knew it was John's again as he had probably found out about her and her son as the first line even read, "I found out about our son." Lilly looked up and James and nodded silently. "It's from John."

"I hope to get a picture soon. I still regret leaving you at the terminal without saying goodbye. I hope you found love, someone who will love you for you and hope that they are treating our son like their own. I also hope you named him Harry. Not going to blame you if you haven't. Dean and Sam are growing bigger. I do hope one day we get to meet in real life."

"How did he come to find out about Harry?" James asked not accusing her just was curious.

"I have no idea. I do hope that one day we can find out. Not that I'm scared he found out. But I am quite curious about it." Lilly turned and saw an owl sitting on the window's ledge gently pecking at the glass. "We got a letter from Sirius." Lilly said with a smile and went to open up the window allowing the owl to swoop in, circle around the ceiling a few times before dropping a small package that was rather long onto the couch. It hooted and landed on one of the dining room chairs before snagging a few quick nibbles of toast and flew out the window once again. "What's inside the box?" Lilly asked seeing as James had taken out his own wand and flicked open the box.

James started to laugh as he performed another spell lifting the object from the box. "Looks like Sirius is saying Harry is to become a seeker." James laughed showing Lilly a small toy broom making her start to laugh.

"Well, Harry is needing to wait just a few more months before he is able to try this." She saw her son's eyes glow with excitement and almost gave up trying to stop her son from trying out the broom. But she shook her head and pulled out the contents of both boxes before taking them up the stairs and into Harry's room. She snagged a few pieces of parchment and her ink and quill and sat down at the small desk. She took a slow deep breath and began to write in careful strokes a letter to John.

"Dearest John,

I was wanting to tell you about our son, but I never knew where to find you. Our son's name is indeed Harry and he is just an amazing child. I will attach a picture of our son when I can find my camera. I had to pack it up to move. I will explain more when I can find the time. I have indeed found another man who loves Harry like his own and continues to spoil him. I do have a question as to how you found out where I lived and found out about our son? Also please don't panic on how an owl found you. This is how we deliver our messages to loved ones. And so there will be no problems I will pay for the postage as our currency is slightly different then America's. I still love you and I worry about you and your two boys. I bet both of them are growing up strong and I'm sure our Son would loved to get to know him. Would you send a picture of them? Just so when Harry gets older he will know about his other family. I hope your weather is fairing well as we are getting a lot of rain here. I do hope you find a way to come visit or visa versa. I know you said I shouldn't try and search for you, but I want you to meet your son and James wants to meet you too. Please think about it.

With Love, Lilly Evens Potter & Harry James Potter"

Lilly leaned back in her chair with a satisfied smile as she stared down at her perfectly constructed letter. After a few minutes of letting the ink dry she carefully folded the letter and saw an envelope which she carefully slid the letter inside. Glad that she had grabbed the box John had sent to her, she carefully wrote the address on the front. After she had written the address on the front she stood up and walked out of the room and walked down the stairs to find Harry already trying to ride the broom which made Lilly quickly grab her camera and snapped a few photos. She smiled at the excited squeals her son was giving as she quickly went and dropped off the camera inside the dark room to be developed and wandered if she should try and make it move for John, as he didn't know about her kind of people.

Just then a soft knocking on the front door made everyone freeze, except for Harry who continued to fly around the sitting room. James, knowing that Harry would throw a tantrum after being taken away from his toy, quickly scooped up Harry and rushed upstairs to put him in the room before returning to stand next to his wife near the front door. He grabbed his wand, ready for defense. Lilly, never one to fight back even in serious situations slowly climbed the stairs ready to run into her son's room.

James slowly opened the front door and carefully peered around the corner.

"James?" A well dressed man with caramel colored brown hair and the same brown eyes stood with a smile on his face. "Don't worry I'm not here to cause you, your wife or her son any trouble. I'm just hear to make sure to offer my assistance in making sure nothing happens to you. As I have heard of rumors of some of my family wanting to cause harm to you and your family."

"But, I thought precautions were already put in place." James said feeling rather uncomfortable with this stranger.

"Yes, by your kind, but my kind is a bit more... different and your precautions will not do anything to deter anyone from my family if they choose to attack. My precautions will only take a few minutes and will guarantee the safety of your family and your son from my kind."

"Let him in, James." Lilly said feeling a strange connection to the stranger as she slowly moved down the stairs. "What is your name, if you don't mind me asking."

"My name is Gabriel." The man said with a calm smile and instantly both Lilly and James were surprised when he pulled out a lollipop from out of complete air. "Now, do I have your permission to walk around your lovely home, and to be alone with your son just for a few seconds to ward his room?"

"Yes, just as long as we can stand and watch." James stated and the man, Gabriel, nodded. "Then go right ahead."

Lilly sighed after the stranger left feeling a bit more secure in her home as she sat on the sitting room couch with a cup of tea for both her and her husband.

"Do you really think Dumbledore sent this man to our house?" James asked after they spent the entirety of the afternoon thinking about what just happened.

They had watched the strange man walked around touching and drawing strange symbols before the symbols vanished as if they weren't there. He then walked over to Harry who, usually cried when meeting people, smiled up at the man and reached out to grab the stranger's finger as Gabriel gently tapped Harry on the middle of the forehead which made the young toddler let out a yawn and fall into a calming sleep.

"I don't think so." Lilly said taking a gentle sip from her cup. "He knew about Harry and I do believe Dumbledore would have informed us if he was going to send him to our house. Plus he said 'My kind and your kind' like he wasn't a wizard but knew of what we were."

"Then do you think he knows Harry's father? Do you think he informed him of Harry?"

"I'm not sure on that, James." Lilly said taking another sip of her tea. "I just hope we didn't just jeopardize our safety."

"I highly doubt. But you should get some sleep. I think Sirius was planning on coming to visit tomorrow. He was wanting to come in his dog form, if that is okay."

"That's just fine. I think Harry loves seeing his Godfather show up. I'll make sure to have some biscuits and tea ready for him."

It was October, a few months since the stranger had shown up, and the cool crips fall evening gave an unearthly pit inside Lilly's stomach as she fought to put Harry into his pajamas so they could retire. She was rather upset as John never gave her another letter since she sent one with the picture of Harry. She began to worry she had upset him but everything changed when she heard her husband's feet running up the stairs and threw open the door.

"Lilly, take Harry, use the emergency door and get out the house." James' voice was shaking with fear making Lilly scared and the pit in her stomach grew worse.

"What's going on?" Lilly asked as she watched her husband pull out his wand.

"He's here." It was only two words and Lilly knew exactly what her husband meant. "Take Harry and run. Now, save yourself. I love you, Lilly." He smiled kissed his wife, and quick kiss on his son's forehead and left the room slamming the door behind him and with a click had locked it. But several tense seconds later, Lilly could hear a deep voice screaming a spell and then silence. Her heart pounded as she tried to calm her son and kissed him gently on the forehead knowing that they all may not survive this night. So she decided to tell him something she feared he'd never comprehend.

"Harry, I want to say everyone loves you. Your father loves you, I love you. I will make sure nothing happens to you." She knew that may not be the case as she heard the door breaking down and she quickly spun around blocking the known intruder from hurting her son. She knew her husband had been killed but she was going to try and at least save her son.

"Stand aside, you foolish girl." The intruder said his voice hissing as he raised his wand and trying to point at Harry but Lilly kept standing in the way. "Oh come now, I will not hurt you if you just stand aside."

"Kill me instead." Lilly said her heart pounding in her ears.

"As you wish." The intruder said and soon Lilly felt nothing she remembered nothing she was nothing more then an empty shell.

Across the Ocean in a small town in New York, John Winchester felt tears sliding down his cheeks. He quickly lifted his hands and he wiped them away unsure why he was crying. He hadn't cried since he lost his late wife Mary when his youngest son was six months old. But then a quick thought entered his mind. He had another son, a son with a woman he met once a little over a year ago. Something deep inside his chest gave him a sick feeling in his chest. A pain a parent would feel if he lost a child and loved one. They were now gone... He just knew it and felt even more guilt as when he received a letter with a picture of his son, he didn't know whether or not to show up. Now he felt all that time was a waste. He wasted his chance and he lost the chance to meet his other son, Harry. The child he wished to be named after his father.
