Zed Pov:

"I never expect Seabrook to be visited by an unusual set of people, not like it's a bad thing but everyone who comes here apparently has a tragic backstory and reputation. We've become a town of supernatural calamity and nightmares with what's been happening at Seabrook that's causing everyone from the outside world to decide and visit us. We've had friendlier visits like Screw-On Head who came to help us with the robot space bear and Tiki-Z who wanted to start a business hereafter a career of handling unnatural situations. Much like Revenant's life since he might end up the same way, one minute he's going to another dimension and the second he opens up a small store in a small town. It feels strange that I prefer things the same when it was just humans and zombies, it was simple and easy to get by. However, sometimes things that are the same are never fun and can be boring. In any case, I hope the extra help that Rev is getting from Cassie and Vlad can handle the false cheerleader on Addison's team before things escalate."

Afternoon-Zombie Town

Having heard about Panda being here in Seabrook to track down Revenant and take him out for a bounty, Zed thought it would be best that he took Addison out for a walk in Zombie Town to get away from the craziness they managed to get into without even noticing. The couple took a moment to think amongst themselves about how much Seabrook had changed as well as the new people taking a fascination with their home and coming over to visit their home.

"Just when I thought we had someone who could give the team a new perspective and excite the people. She ends up being a bounty hunter whose dad wears a clown mask. Scary."

Addison said in a sad tone about Panda being a new cheerleader and friend who could add a new element to the team, it was a lie. Zed felt sorry for how she was feeling and could understand it since he wouldn't mind making a new friend from the outside world and not being involved in anything supernatural.

"I'm sure there be others who'd be excited to take Panda's place on the team. You can ask Mist out to join the team, she can't hold up the others but can do amazing stunts in the air by herself."

Her boyfriend offered one of the meta-zombies to join the Mighty Shrimp since her gaseous form could amaze everyone at school since the trio had numerous abilities that helped the community, the gas zombie participating in cheerleading could help them get the same recognition that Addison and the others got when they joined the team. The girl nodded at Zed's ideas as it sounded like a good idea to help fill in Panda's spot, though she had an uncomfortable feeling that was brimming inside of her.

"Are you okay?"

Zed asked as he noticed the look on his girlfriend's face about the situation they were which he noticed since the lights around them acting up due to her alien powers. While she'd been learning how to manifest it and not let the power consume her, Addison would sometimes lose control and cause a power outage that destroyed a radio to that of a light pole.

"Back in space when I traveled with A-Spen and the others, we saw incredible things that I can't explain to anyone here. We also learned about other travelers who wanted to see the stars, but not that many of them were nice. Just like how Revenant is attracting people here because of his reputation, I feel like I might end up doing the same."

Explaining to him the possible danger that she'd bring to Seabrook after making herself known across the stars after exploring the unknown territory for a week. Brit as well as Addison's parents wanted to know what she'd seen during her time with her other family, but Addison said nothing since the experience of learning there was extraterrestrial life that wasn't as nice as A-Spen's people. Zed could see the grief coming from her of the concern of bringing unwanted attention to their home, Zed hugged her to comfort Addison and to not worry about that idea happening.

"If we get another set of aliens visiting Seabrook who want to try and bring trouble. They should know that we have tackled two ancient gods that tried to destroy our home, bested weird creatures that wanted to mess around with our friends, and let's not forget. Your boyfriend is considered a badass after being permitted by Lady Death to leave the afterlife."

He brought up that they weren't the same kids who met each other during their first day in high school. They had become independent and stronger than ever before, which was true from the adventures they'd had together. Addison was able to calm herself which helped her powers settle down and smile as they wouldn't let this stop them from continuing their lives and facing whatever wants to cause harm in Seabrook. Just as the couple found a moment to ease themselves from their conversation, the two looked ahead to see a commotion happening at Tiki-Z's store and Dae standing outside looking tired.

"Dae? What's going on?"

Addison asked in a concerned tone about what was going on as Zed decided to check inside the store to see what was making the commotion. Dae said nothing but smiled at what was going on as she showed Addison a set of rare ingredients that were perfect for potion making and a set of chew toys for her familiar.

"Addison?! I think you should come in here!"

Zed shouted for her attention as the white-haired cheerleader was confused about what was going on, Addison went inside to see the commotion going on. The cheerleader was surprised by the people inside Tiki's store who appeared to be visitors of Seabrook, they all appeared to look human and were flooding the owner about the items they were trying to buy from Tiki-Z.

"Does anyone need any help? It's kind of my thing in welcoming new people to Seabrook."

She offered her assistance in welcoming the outsiders to Seabrook since they didn't seem out of the ordinary. The first was a teenager wearing a black and white striped shirt with a brown cap on his head, he was next to an old baldheaded man in a wheelchair who was wearing suspenders and a jacket to keep himself warm. There was a girl with blonde hair with half of it dyed pink, she had a biker appearance as well as a tattoo that showed a gate with wings along with a halo in front of it. The reason for Zed to call Addison for backup was

"Goon! That's the slack jaw in the paper I read about, go knock his block off!"

The old man shouted at the young man as he looked over at Zed and cracked his knuckles before walking over to handle the football player with his bare hands. Before he could respond to the boy called Goon, he avoided the swings that were hurled at him as Zed noticed that they could knock him out in one hit. Deciding to not take it, Zed adjusts his Z-Band, he lets his zombie out halfway and roars toward Goon, and attempts to frighten him. It doesn't work as the cap-wearing teen continues to fight Zed, it leaves Addison to step in and use her alien powers to prevent them from harming each other. Before having the chance to engage in the zombie and human fight, the biker girl walked over and tapped on Addison's shoulder to get her attention.

"I don't suppose you're an angel. Because those little lighting fingers you're doing aren't the party tricks I see on the road."

She questioned Addison before her blue eyes changed to red which went across her entire body. The cheerleader moved back and witnessed in front of her the transformation of a demon, complete with small horns and a red tail that took Addison by surprise which caused her to move away in utter shock.

"I don't mind getting myself into trouble like those two are getting into."

Continuing to question Addison as the girls watched the human and zombie fighting which seemed to show no sign of ending. By the counter table was the old man laughing at the sight of his kid dubbed 'Goon' has the upper hand over the zombied-out Zed while Tiki-Z couldn't handle the roughhousing that was happening in his store.

"I'm getting too old to host fights in my place."

The tiki-headed man spoke out as he looked underneath his table to find a jar that was filled with preserved mummy bandages that can ensnare anything in its sight. Removing the lid and aiming it at the two boys, the bandages flew out of the can wrapping Zed and Goon together along with Addison and the demon girl who were caught in its sight by accident.

"Call your kid off Frank, the bandages that are on him are thousands of years old and know how to squeeze the life out of him."

He threatened the bald man on the bandages squeezing his kid, the old man groaned at the warning as he called off the kid which made Goon let go of Zed's neck and the zombie was able to change back to his normal self. The bandages came off the pair as well as the girls as it allowed the new girl to Seabrook to change her demon appearance to her human form. With everything settling down, Tiki-Z took out a set of Froyos to help calm everyone's nerves since there was a much-needed explanation about the newcomer's sudden urge to fight.

"Introductions needed. The old guy and his silent but deadly squirt are Goon the Second and Frank. His old man was called Goon who was in the business of handling all types of supernatural matters and fighting zombies, or what they call 'Slack Jaws'. He passed away several years ago, the man in the wheelchair was his best friend and now is training his kid. Who's taken his father's name."

Tiki-Z explained to the couple why the two new guys were not afraid to knock the undead if they caused problems for the living or money. With that understanding and could tell from how they acted, Zed and Addison's attention went to the new girl who was unlike anyone they'd met since it was a first for them to see an ordinary human change into a demoness.

"Ms. 'Bad to the Bone' is Mercy Sparx. An actual pure-blooded demon from a place called 'Sheol', an interdimensional plane of existence that demons lived in. While she's in the department of chasing people, Mercy is forced into the business by a higher power that I don't want to say since you're not ready to know about them. Just know that's just as strong as Revenant and hard to take down."

Tiki-Z summarized Mercy's background as having a unique background that would draw Lady Death's of someone from the other side causing trouble around humans. The trio of newcomers looked at the Seabrook couple as they presented them with a wanted sign that showed Revenant's face as well as a bounty below his name which was for a large sum of money. Before the Seabrook couple could get to the bottom of this gathering of supernatural hunters, the door behind Zed and Addison opened up to show Dae with her phone in hand with Wynter's number on it.

"Did I come in at a bad time? I just called Wynter and the others about what was happening and thought they could stop by."

She asked them about the new arrivals and wanting to see Revenant which made Addison and Zed sigh at what their friend would think about being the center of attention. Before reacting to the witch's decision to call the others, they heard a screeching coming from outside as well as a set of footsteps coming in to see an annoyed Cassie Hack with her spiked baseball bat prepared to hit someone for interrupting their fight.

"Whoever else is here for the zombie they better get in a damn line, because we got our hands full with a bulked-up clown and his deranged kid with machine guns!"

Looking at the latest in people going after Revenant, she noticed Goon who was attending his elderly uncle to that of Mercy noticing the black-haired slayer hunter which she waved at. Sighing at seeing them, Cassie places aims bat toward the ground and makes way for the others to come inside where they were still hostile at one another since they wanted to settle their fight before getting the call to come here.

"Everybody has a few minutes to come up with a reason why we got interrupted before they get gutted like a fish."

Panda's father threatens the people inside Tiki-Z's place since he didn't look pleased to be interrupted in a job he is currently doing. It didn't help when he noticed Mercy and Goon's posters that showed Revenant as well as him open to anyone who could take him in. Revenant walked in to see what was going on as he saw the new arrivals and them looking back at the zombie seeing that he looked like the one on the poster. Everyone walked inside to see what was going on and was able to realize that fighting would be pointless since everyone in the room was deadly in their unique profession.

"Quick summary. The two humans fight zombies for a living and the girl is an actual demon, not from Lady Death but wants your head for a large sum of money."

Zed informed his friend about their intentions for him, it made Revenant annoyed at him for getting this unwelcome attention due to how it didn't make any sense. Cassie wanted to get to the bottom of it as she went over to speak with Mercy since she seemed to be someone else that she knew during her time on the road. With the hostile people now settled, Addison decided to speak with Panda who was just as annoyed in wanting to get back in the fight.

"Panda."

She called out her name to get the girl's attention which made the trigger-happy slayer turn toward Addison and could see she was upset with her about the deceit. Looking over to see her dad arguing with Frank about him and his daughter being here first to take out the zombie, Panda knew this would be the only time to speak to Addison and lose her position on the cheer team.

"Before you say it. Yes, it was messed up to join the team to get close to Revenant. But it was nice to hang out with you and the others, I never got to hang out with teenagers when I went into the family business like my dad did when he was little."

Panda told Addison that while she was focused on preparing the zombie for her dad to take out, it had been a while since she had hung around people who seemed normal and had their type of excitement she had with her dad. With that being said and feeling that Addison was preparing to kick her off the Mighty Shrimp, she didn't have it in her since it wasn't entirely her fault since they were hired to track down Revenant.

"Now that everyone doesn't have an itch on Seabrook's popular zombie, no offense Zed. But it looks like you were all duped by someone that me and Vlad had been involved with several months ago."

Cassie spoke out to the audience about this zombie hunt as she pulled out her phone to show a photo of the person responsible for arranging this hunt. It was one of the chef slasher's henchmen who wanted revenge after Revenant and the gang took him out during the Seabrook cookout. While that didn't mean much since they were hired to do the job, it showed that the chef had nothing more than printed copies due to how deranged his staff was.

"While I was interested in testing out the guy's capability since everyone in town talks about how he can throw a punch. I figured that the job wasn't professional when I saw these two, they aren't well known for keeping things subtle."

Mercy added on about the person who hired them not knowing about Goon and Frank's reputation in taking out supernatural creatures and the unusual. Sighing at being fooled and not getting paid, Clown Face responded to the realization by aiming his knife at Revenant along with Vlad aiming his at the father's neck. Panda responded by aiming her gun at Vlad to which Goon and Franky pulled out their firearms toward the three leaving Cassie and Mercy to pull out their weapons at the rest.

"Again? Really? After learning you all were tricked into doing this, you want to pull off a showdown?"

Nightwing accused everyone of wanting to start shooting and stabbing each other after being deceived by a chef's crazy associate. Zed and Addison didn't see Rev intimidated nor frightened by him being in the middle of all of this as he decided to handle this issue once and for all by satisfying everyone's need to let out their pent-up aggression.

"You all want to get paid? Fine, you all want to get out of being screwed over? That's alright. But this is my town, and we're going do it right in a way no one gets hurt or maimed. Do that for me and I promise to pay whatever amount that was promised to you. All I need is a moment of your time. Especially for the Halloween party that'll be hosted in Zombie Town."

Revenant stated to the people who came all the way here to Seabrook for Revenant would get their money's worth. Unsure if they could trust him, it was better than leaving the town with nothing to show for it. Tiki-Z brought everyone who wanted a bone to pick with Rev in the back while everyone looked at the confident zombie knowing what he was doing. Mercy looked at Cassie if he was crazy or an idiot and if he could handle four out of three dangerous people who had no issue tearing him to pieces, the girl shrugged her head knowing that Rev had something up his sleeve if he wasn't scared of them, more or less his friends since he didn't know what he was planning.

Later-Night Time

Having agreed with the zombie hunters in getting their money's worth in coming to Seabrook. However, that issue would have to be handled secretly during the Halloween party that was being held in Zombie Town and having half of the people from the community attending it. Brit herself had to invite half of Sentinel's forces to keep a close eye out on the 'event' that Revenant had planned that involved the newcomers that had arrived several hours ago. She was in a conversation with Night Wing who was dressed up as Seabrook being informed about what was happening.

"After he told them about giving them their 'money's' worth. He contacted Baba Yaga about the guy who hired them to visit him, possibly to punish the assistant for what was happening. He then went to Dae and asked her for help, do you know what Rev's planning that won't lead to a brawl."

She questioned the fruitpire about what the zombie's intention was in handling the matter as it was a first for him in not knowing what he was thinking of. Looking over to the side she saw Zed and Addison in costumes while serving snacks and beverages to the guests when they noticed Brit gesturing them to come over.

"I'm not getting anything from the walking shrimp, please. Tell me what your guy is doing, because I told my people to be ready for anything. And I don't know what it'll be since no one is telling me anything."

Asking the couple since they were involved with what was going on and needing to know what was happening. Zed and Addison shook their head in keeping quiet which left the impression on how they were involved with Revenant's plan. Getting stressed out at being left to the side and seeing Willa hanging out with A-Spen, she wanted to ask her about what was going on since Wynter was part of the debacle and wanted to see if Wynter told her anything.

"Don't worry about it. Rev's got a plan, and frankly, I'm surprised by how much effort he's putting into it."

Addison informed Brit about everything being taken care of as it didn't help the girl feel calm about what was happening behind the celebration. Frustrated at what was happening, the three looked over to see Dae pushing a cart that had the merchandise that Tiki-Z had back in his shop. Pointing over at the new girl for being a part of the plan, the couple and Night Wing nodded to her on Dae having a hand in what would be happening tonight. With everyone enjoying themselves and the party, the atmosphere went silent as the people saw the new arrivals making themselves noticed.

"We should have just killed that brat when we had the chance."

Clown Face said as he was wearing a custom-made costume outfitted for him as the father of Panda went as a ringmaster from the circus. Panda had on herself an attire passed off a panda, she didn't mind it since they'd be the center of attention. Joining them were Mercy and Goon who were both dressed accordingly, the demoness didn't need a costume and stayed in her demonic form while Goon looked like an old-school gangster.

"Let's get this show on the road! I hear this town's got excitement and I'm ready to see it!"

Franky announced from the sideline who was wearing a mayor costume as he found himself prideful and wanted to be noticed. The crowd cheered with what he said since there was a special event that was scheduled for tonight, which started to occur when the four noticed a fog coming from around the alleyways in an eerie manner. The four prepared to face whatever Revenant had planned for them as they started to hear music playing from the speakers.

"It's close to midnight. There's something evil that's lurking in the dark."

A voice called out amongst the shadow as it came from Zoey who was riding Puppy. The pair were dressed up as pumpkin creatures in an attempt to scare the four, Panda found it cute while the others not so much since they didn't know what they'd expect from this. Without warning they heard a howl coming from the rooftop where they saw Waylon along the rest of the pack responsible for the howl.

"Under the moonlight. You see a sight that almost stops your heart."

He sang toward them as the wolves leapt down toward the four thinking they were going to attack them. Brit didn't know whether to have her people step in as she was stopped by Willa who had her pack under control, the alpha singled to the beta wolf where they moved out of the way to show Wyatt dressed up as a mad scientist. Standing behind him was Eliza in a new Tombstone suit that was modeled to appear as an reanimated monster.

"You try to scream, but terror takes the sound before you make it. You start to freeze, as horror looks you right between the eyes. You're paralyzed!"

The werewolf said before he and his pack growled at the four which left them to aim their weapons at them. Eliza smiled at them being predictable as she activated one of the modifications she'd made to her suit, an magnet mod that pulled their weapons away from the four rendering each of them armless. Clown Face looked over to see everyone think this was part of the show, it infuriated him to where he wanted to make an escape.

"You hear the door slam. And realize there's nowhere left to run."

A voice told Panda's father before seeing a door he was going to enter quickly shut on him. Tumbling to the ground and getting upset about what did it, Delgado saw coming out of the door was Lobster Johnson. Everyone was surprised by the ghost making an appearance and applauded his entrance as he hovered over him to that of the others who watched the specter flying in the air.

"You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun."

He told them as the Lobster disappears from their sight to then be replaced by Aerial who soared in the air as the alien cyborg was dressed up as a banshee. Flying over the crowd to land on one of the vendors, she does a frightening pose where the four newcomers didn't know what Aerial would do to them.

"You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, but all the while. You hear a creature creepin' up behind. You're out of time!"

She told them as it left the Goon questionable as he was ready to head over to his uncle and see if he had any spare weapons. Franky waved at his kid as he had company during the show as it was Vlad, wearing a cloak along having a flashlight which he turns on to make himself look frightening.

"Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand. Creatures crawling in search of blood, to terrorize your neighborhood."

He told the boy as Vlad used his used his hulking body to intimidate Goon and made him move back to rejoin the others. Panda looked confused by what they were attempting she didn't find it scary; she was enjoying it as she noticed from the crowd was half of the zombies walking out in a foreboding manner. Unlike the others, they seemed to have their Z-Bands off and appeared ravenous. Mercy herself could see that this was all for show but didn't know if this was what Revenant meant by giving them their money's worth as she sees Vlad continuing with his performance.

"And whosoever shall be found. Without the soul for getting down, must stand and face the Hounds of Hell. And rot inside a corpse's shell."

Vlad continued his monologue to where he hurled the flashlight over them where they saw Cassie grabbing it. Her costume was that of a cheerleader slayer with fake blood on her and appearing half alive. Glaring at them with no emotion in her eyes, she was with Wynter who was dressed in the same clothes as she snarled at the four with her claws unsheathed.

"The foulest stench is in the air. The funk of forty thousand years and grizzly ghouls from every tomb. Are closing in to seal your doom, and though you fight to stay alive. Your body starts to shiver, for no mere mortal can resist. The evil of the thriller."

The two spoke toward the four as they were unaware on how to approach this strange situation they were in. Seeing the zombies getting closer and closer, Revenant was amongst the group acting like one of the ravenous zombies. They continued to approach them which gave the Dae the opportunity to use one of the potions she kept hidden to blow it across the floor. It went past the four as they were confused by what it was supposed to do, Panda tried to shake it off before bumping into Addison where she as well as Zed looked lifeless as the zombie crowd.

"What the hell?"

Panda asked before noticing the two dancing toward them in a stiff manner. The others behind the four did the same as they slowly came together and surrounded the newcomers, everyone else watched in silence as Brit singled her security force to not attempt anything as she continued to watch the performance. The Goon was about to leave before seeing his foot tapping to the beat of the music, it spread amongst the four as they were unable to control themselves and follow the rhythm. They were forced to become a part of the group and danced with them as they had fallen under Dae's spell, they soon marched down the street with Revenant leading them as everyone was questioning what was happening and why out of everyone, Revenant was leading them.

"Cause, this is thriller! Thriller night! And no one's gonna save you from the beast about to strike. You know it's thriller! Thriller night! You're fighting for your life inside a killer, thriller."

Revenant cried out as the group suddenly started jumped up as their stiffness went away. While Delgado and Goon had trouble with this sudden need to dance, Panda and Mercy didn't seem to mind since they felt the anger of them coming here for a job suddenly leaving. Revenant saw how the dance was affecting them as he allowed Zed and Addison to take over the dance.

"Thriller! Thriller night! Cause I can thrill you more than any ghoul would ever dare try. Thriller! Ooh! Thriller night! So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller. Chiller, thriller here tonight!"

They sang together as they pointed over into the air toward the moon where the werewolves howled that singled Aerial to light up the sky with symbols that represented Halloween. The crowd cheered at the show that was happening in front of them to the point where they were going over to Dae and started buying merchandise off her. Revenant smiled at the sight as it was a part of his plan, all that was left was to enjoy the dance.

"Thriller! Thriller night! Cause I can thrill you more than any ghoul would ever dare try. Thriller! Ooh! Thriller night! So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller. Chiller!"

Finishing a song with a pose as the four did the same as they were confused at how they were capable of dancing in an upbeat manner. Everyone who watched the performance cheered as it was an incredible sight and fit the tone for their Halloween party. Brit applauded with the group while looking over at Night wing who was still in his Shrimpy costume with questions about their friend's plan.

"The money that Dae was given will go to the father and daughter as well as the rest to make up for the money they were cheated out of, while Dae getting herself a fair amount since she was the one who worked on the spell. With that handled and Baba Yaga going after the chef's assistant to learn about the history of slashers, I'd say everyone wins in this predicament."

Night wing informed Brit about Revenant's plan in paying the bounty hunter and showing them that he wasn't a threatening zombie that they were informed about. He was ordinary like the others in Seabrook, all in the while wanting to enjoy the day with his friends and people he had considered family. Brit didn't know to respond to the resolution that he'd manage to make but smiled at this being a way to alert anyone else from the outside world that wanted to visit Revenant and the rest of Seabrook that they were welcome to meet new people, just as long they can find a way to socialize amongst one each other upon arrival.

The song used for this chapter was 'Thriller' by Michael Jackson, all rights to the song belong to him and the people who helped write it. On that note, welcome Mercy Sparx from her comic to that of The Goon from Dark Horse Comics and Devil's Due Studios as the newcomers to the story and participating in future chapters.
