Revenant Pov:

"Christmas in Seabrook. Not that many people know it, but Zed calls it 'Z-Mas' because of the parties he hosted ever since the Christmas Tree incident that happened before the Alien Invasion. This year is going to be special because not only I'm going to have it with my adoptive parents and have a holiday together, but we're going to show it to Cassie and the others who might have not had a decent holiday party with the challenges they go through. Last year's party was a bit hectic since Zed filled the community pool with soda, which backfired since the insectoids flew from the forbidden forest thinking we were snacks. This year? It's going to be different and special. Just need to make sure it doesn't spiral out of control."

Zombie Town-Zed's House

It was a busy week in Seabrook with half of the residents setting up decorations, wrapping up presents, and planning extravagant parties that would outshine their neighbors. While the lesson of the holiday was to cherish those around you and be grateful for what they have, that didn't mean you couldn't have an exciting memory to share for next year. In the backyard was Zed and his dad who were both making a large tree covered in lights and decorations from past Z-Mas holidays they celebrated together.

"I'll tell you something about this tree, Zed. It's big, messy, and looks ready to be the talk of the town. It's perfect."

His father complimented his son on a job well done on creating the tree as well as the activities that Zed and Addison had helped make. There was a scary gingerbread house contest, cauliflower snowball fights, and a soda-drinking game. It would be exciting and open for everyone to participate.

"It's important that everything is perfect. Because, unlike the previous holiday parties I hosted, this year going to be different with the new visitors that Seabrook has received recently, somebody's got to give them that Seabrook welcome. Who better than this zombie?"

Zed asked his dad about bringing in the new visitors that came to Seabrook in October when they were after Revenant. His dad had a complex look on his face about inviting over the tourists to his house since he'd heard from the people in town that they were 'isolated'. Especially when it came to trying to befriend them since the people would either be afraid of them or they'd scare them off.

"Zed. While I do appreciate your wanting to give everyone that Z-Mas spirit you share, maybe it is best to let them celebrate the holidays by themselves. I'm sure they have different ways of enjoying it."

Responding to his son's response of inviting them over after they decided to remain in Seabrook after Halloween. The mayor as well as Sentinel gave them different living commendations that suited them, such as the demoness Mercy Sparx being allowed to live with Tiki-Z and Dae since their store was supernatural and felt normal to them. Goon the Second and Franky got a place in Zombie Town since they grew up in a rundown neighborhood, meaning the zombie community felt perfect for them. Finally, Panda and Delgado were given living arrangements at the Big House since they were considered 'unpredictable' among the people.

"While I'd agree with you on that Mr. Necropolis, they're not that bad once you get to know them. I mean after Panda told me the truth about her childhood and decided to live a life of danger with her dad, I felt sorry for her. I think it's important to show them and the rest that life is full of excitement than violence."

Addison spoke from behind the two zombies as she brought help with her for tonight's party which came in the form of Revenant, the werewolf pack, as well as A-Spen and Aerial who wanted to learn first hand as to what it meant to celebrate the holidays together with family.

"I must say the decorations you have remind me of my world's buildings. The kids were great at making houses to play in."

A-Spen commented on the tree Zed and his father made which made the zombie think about what alien kids built due to how advanced they were back home. With the added help from everyone to make the party appear extravagant and welcoming, Wynter was by the fences setting up what looked like traps in an attempt to catch a wild animal.

"Why is Wynter setting up traps? There aren't any wild animals roaming around Zombie Town since the weather has changed from warm to freezing."

Aerial asked Revenant what his girlfriend was up to as it made the zombie embarrassed of him knowing the answer. Unable to figure out a way to tell the cyborg alien about what Wynter was doing, he looked over at her alpha to help explain why their excitable packmate was making the backyard ready for a wild animal to appear.

"It's a tradition she's been doing since we were pups. Every year when the holidays come, Wynter is dedicated to capturing a creature called 'Santler Claws'. A beast that is ancient and considered amongst the pack as the greatest hunt of all. Nobody has had the chance to catch it since Claws doesn't exist."

Willa informed Aerial about what the werewolves considered a tradition and knew that it was made up. They heard a gasp coming from behind which showed Wynter listening to Willa's explanation to Aerial as it made the girl shocked by her not believing in Santler Claws.

"What do you mean he isn't real? Who's the one that scares the bad kids? Who drinks all the hot sauce I place near the traps?"

She asked her friend about several things that the creature was known for as the group heard someone drinking one of the hot sauce bottles Wynter had left out. It was Waylon who seemed to fit the perspective of Santler Claws as the beta wolf felt sorry for letting himself be exposed so easily. Wynter was saddened by this and lowered her at the pack in not believing in Santler Claws, Revenant went over to comfort his girlfriend since he or anyone at Sentinel had ever heard of a creature like that before.

"I'm sure there's a Santler Claws out there. Besides, no one else knows about him. You can teach them about him and a chance to catch him."

Offering her an idea to continue the tradition despite having the pack not believe in the mythical creature. Wynter smiled at his idea and kissed him on the cheek before resuming to set up her traps for Santler Claws, including taking one of the hot sauce bottles from Waylon since she needed them.

"Thanks for the quick save."

Wyatt thanked the zombie for not making Wynter upset about them not believing in the creature. Everyone continued to help with the decorations as they heard from the living room which came from Rev's parents who brought in the enhanced zombies to see the party being set up.

"This is way more interesting back at the Medical Center. Not saying ours was amazing, but this feels special."

Mist apologized to Mathew and Susan about how they spent their Christmas together in a traditional style, this felt right at home since they originally came from Seabrook. The human couple accepted her apology since this was something they needed to help them feel back at home rather than just at school and hanging out at stores.

"It's not a problem. I'm excited to have one with Rev, plus the stories we can share with everyone about how he would knock down a tree trying to find one that would get Santa's attention."

Susan told the group when their zombie son would go all out for the holiday which left Rev's friends to laugh at the idea of a young zombie trying to go all out. The zombie didn't say anything but helped with the groceries that his parents had brought in to help out with the food. Addison smiled at everyone coming over to help with making the party amazing and special for the tourists who despite coming after Revenant, they'd take living in Seabrook a chance since they hadn't had a normal place to live in.

"I feel that tonight is going be amazing. I can't wait for what you have in store for the grand finale."

She complimented Zed on the hard work that he's been doing and caused the zombie's smile to fall as he didn't have anything planned at the end of the party. Looking at everyone smiling and enjoying the company of one another while continuing to keep up with the atmosphere since he had to figure out something for tonight. Taking a chance to hide behind the tree he built, Zed pulled out his phone to see if he couldn't get some help with ending his party in a manner that would make everyone remember it as the best party in all of Seabrook.

Later-Night Time

The full moon was shining over Seabrook and it had been filled with Christmas cheer and joy across the streets and houses. Traveling from the Big House in a truck, Brit was bringing over Nightwing as well as Panda and Delgado who both had different opinions in coming over to Zed's home. The father was being a grouch since he wasn't the type to celebrate the holidays, Panda was different as she got herself a set of clothing that made her appear as an elf with a mistletoe collar around her neck.

"Why the hell does that Hack girl and Vlad get to take their van while we can't take Da-Boss? I have a reputation for arriving in style."

Delgado asked about being denied the chance to drive his car since its appearance gave the feeling that something bad was about to happen. The last thing that Brit needed was people getting scared about a large man and his trigger-happy daughter coming out and looking like they were about to make trouble.

"It's not all that bad. Besides, this is better than going in Cassie's van. She has to pick up that demon chick and that mob-looking duo. Plus, I gotta get ready when I see that zombie boy again."

Panda told her dad about not riding in their car since there wasn't a need for the Da-Boss since they weren't on a job. Looking at a small mirror Panda had packed to make sure that she looked amazing for Revenant which caught the attention of Brit and Nightwing since that wasn't a good idea to attempt.

"Panda? Not to be that mean girl to say there's not a snowball's chance in hell that can happen, but that's the case in trying to get Rev's attention. Especially since he's in a relationship with Wynter."

Brit told her about the challenge of trying to get his attention since she and half of Seabrook saw how devoted he was to the werewolf when it came to Revenant saving her from a giant tower that rose from Seabrook's beach. The Hispanic girl scuffed at the doubt of not being able to get Rev's attention despite her dad having the opportunity to go after him after the Halloween event that got him and the other hunters paid.

"I think as of now, everyone should focus on the holiday party that Zed had invited us to since he believes that you two can see this town has much to offer."

The fruitpire told the father and daughter as they made their arrival at Zed's house where they saw Cassie's truck parked on the sidewalk. Cassie had on a long-sleeved jacket and skirt that was holiday-themed while Vlad had on a snowman hat to help make his appearance friendly to everyone around him. Goon had on his signature brown cap but with a jacket and green scarf who was standing by Frank, who was carrying a turkey. Mercy Sparx was the only one who didn't seem to have any holiday spirit since she was a demoness.

"The only reason I'm here is because Tiki's got some good drinks brewing for tonight. If anyone tries to say 'Merry Christmas' to me, I'll gift wrap them their teeth."

Mercy spoke out as it felt wrong for a demon like her to be around this much positivity and joy in one house. No one responded to her since they each had their opinions on what they'd expect from a zombie hosting a holiday party. The two groups came together to enter the house where they didn't see anyone around, they saw the back door open as they looked upward at the handmade tree and Addison standing in front of it with a present in her hands.

"It's finally my favorite time of year. Lighting up the world with joy and cheer. The magic of the holiday is, here."

She sang softly which made the guests confused if this was another attempt to get them all dancing again like when it was Halloween. Unsure of how they should react to the cheerleader's gesture, Addison presented the gift to Mercy as it was made for her. Deciding to get it over with and see what gift she'd gotten her. Mercy opened the present to see a record album of a metal band that she was fond of.

"Okay, let's get festive."

Mercy responded to her gift which caused a cheer to appear from around the corner as everyone was hiding to surprise the group. Unable to comprehend what was happening, the guests were soon greeted with open arms and showed them what they'd expect during their time at Zed's party.

"Counting down until Meat-Cember, a feast that we'll always remember. Will fill out paws on Santler Claws and hope that he surrenders."

The wolf pack sang as they showed Goon and Frank a table with cooked food that included meat, steak, and hot sauce to spare. They rushed over to enjoy the meal while at the side was Tiki-Z who was accompanied by Dae who was near a cauldron. Both of them were giving out drinks to Bonzo and Bree who was helping out to fill cups for everyone to drink from.

"It might not be a spooky season, but we still got a real good reason. To summon spells from wishing wells, for cocoa free of demons."

Dae sang as she handed one to Cassie and Vlad as the large man took a sip from the cocoa. He felt himself floating as Vlad saw his feet floating in the air, Cassie dragged him down as the pair continued with what else was at Zed's party. Delgado decided to hang out with the parents as they saw a set of dreidels that Bucky had made with each of them having his face on the spinning tops.

"Oh dreidel, dreidel, dreidel. Yes, aren't we all so lucky? That we've got lights for all eight nights. So, we can look at Bucky!"

Praising himself as he offered the dreidels to everyone and one to Delgado. Who glared at the cheerleader which made Bucky flee since the large man was frightening. Just as everyone had settled in, they saw from the doorway, Zed was riding on top of Puppy with Zoey as the zombie siblings had matching Santa hats and the little sister was holding a green star.

"Oh, yeah, it's Z-Mas! No better time to be us, oh my Z-Mas style will make you smile cause our magic will last forever!"

They sang together as Zoey got off from Puppy as she was about to place the star on top of the tree. Unsure how to place it, she was aided by Cortex who used his telekinesis to lift the zombie girl toward the top where she was able to place the star on top.

"Oh, yeah, it's Z-Mas! This one will be prestigious. Spreading love and cheer to the party of the year. The holly, jolly, zolidays are here!"

Everyone sang as they saw the star colorfully igniting the tree, they saw the decorations that Zed's family and friends placed glowed brightly which captivated the guests. With everyone here and staring at the tree, Zed got off Puppy and walked over to Tiki-Z's cauldron to grab a cup of cocoa before making an announcement.

"I'd like to thank everyone for having the chance to make it here to celebrate the holidays together. While most of us are new here and have doubts about how Seabrook works than the rest of the world, the one thing we have is us coming together and enjoying friendships we've made in the past. And hopefully, we can give them the same type of feeling to all of you."

He made his speech toward the new arrivals to town as they each felt mixed with how generous Zed was toward them. With that being said, everyone resumed enjoying the party as there was no trouble being made or arguments since Rev knew how easily the tourists could get if someone said the wrong thing to them. He wasn't aware that Panda was by the side waving toward him in a flirting gesture in an attempt to get the zombie's attention.

"Panda. There are other people here who would like to hang out with someone who doesn't mind getting into a scuffle or two. Like Sal, he can breathe underwater and knows the best pools around the town."

Suggesting one of his friends to spend time with, Panda looked over to see Sal was making gingerdead houses with Vlad and Goon as the trio had difficulty in making them. She did a fake laugh at how funny it was that he could get rid of her that easily as gets close to him.

"If this is about you and the loba then you should know that I don't mind. My pops and I have been involved with so much crazy crap back at Terminus, I don't mind being in the relationship at all. Besides, Wynter's a bit cute when she growls."

She told him about being interested in being with him and the werewolf at the same time. While the girl continued to tease the zombie, Wynter had help in looking for Santler Claws from Cassie and A-Spen who were curious to know what the werewolf had planned for the creature.

"Once we nab Santler Claws, it'll make us known as the best hunters of all time. How will everyone know? It's because Santler will give us one of his claws in a sign of respect for the hunt."

Explaining to the pair about what Santler Claws would give them for the attempt to capture him. Cassie found her ambition a bit nice since most of her hunts for slashers ended bloody and gruesome, this one seemed out of respect for how long the creature had spent surviving in the human world.

"You find her fascinating."

A-Spen spoke to her as they noticed the expression that Cassie was showing toward Wynter which caught the black-haired girl by surprise from that remark. Ignoring the alien's comment and making sure the cage that Wynter had brought to the party, the slayer continued to work on it while feeling A-Spen studying her since they'd never had the chance to befriend her.

"I had the same feeling when I was attracted to Revenant. It started when my people arrived at Seabrook, despite him not trusting us when we arrived from the sky. He wanted to keep us safe from causing any conflict amongst the people. Sadly, I was unable to date him after learning about the percentage of couples breaking up. I've learned that calculations can be wrong, which in case your interest in Wynter."

The alien leader brought up their fascination with Revenant until they were told by Brit that relationships deteriorate if not handled properly. It seemed unlikely for Cassie due to how the human was curious about Wynter's personality and optimism despite being involved with life-threatening situations. The trio continued to work on luring Santler Claws as they heard a shuffling sound coming from the bushes.

"Wynter?"

Cassie called out her name which made the werewolf alert at the sound being made as she looked to see what was making the bush move. Not taking any chances on letting it slip away, Wynter leaped into the bushes to try and take on Santler Claws by herself.

"Steady on! I'm not an enemy!"

The voice cried out from the bushes as Cassie and A-Spen retreated to the party where noticed the commotion going on. Stumbling out uncontrollably with Wynter on top of the stranger, it was the Amazing Screw-On Head who had appeared as a mechanical Santa Claus. The robot couldn't focus on where he was going as he attempted to get Wynter off him as she believed it was Santler Claws.

"Crap! I knew that robot your old man broke apart would come back! Go break it!"

Franky yelled at Goon which made the old man remember what seemed like a robot that the kid's father fought in the past and had returned to seek revenge. Looking at Wynter fighting the mechanical being, Goon the Second grabbed one of the candy cane decorations and swatted at the large being. The pair continued to fight Screw-On Head before Rev realized who it was and was able to get his girlfriend as well as the quiet yet strong human boy away from the robot.

"I'm starting to get why the holidays are enjoyable."

Mercy stated at the sight while recording the fight on her phone since she would want to watch this when the party was over. Revenant managed to stop the fight and was confused about the person inviting Screw-On Head in the first place and not telling anyone ahead of time to avoid this type of confusion.

"This was my fault. It was a last-second thing I wanted to do since he wasn't on any missions and was alone for the holidays. I thought it be right to end the party with a bang."

Zed apologized for what had happened since he'd called the mechanical man after the decorations and meals had been set up since he didn't have anything prepared for the finale. Screw-On Head accepted the apology and confusion he had caused by him coming from the forest.

"I planned on making a surprise reveal to gain applause from everyone. I didn't calculate on Revenant's companion getting the jump on me, nevertheless. I'm prepared to make a festive sight for the family!"

Screw-On Head announced by providing them with something that they'd never forget and making this party memorable. Walking over to the center of the the backyard and opening several holes in his body, the mechanical man fired off a set of rockets into the air that exploded into various colors showing symbols that represented Christmas.

"A tin man giving out a free fireworks show. Feliz freaking Navidad."

Delgado spoke out near the parents as he grabbed a cup of eggnog since it was the best way to celebrate the party among the people who weren't like him. Everyone applauds the show and Zed for finding a way to make it sensational, just as Revenant was focused on Wynter to see if she was all right. It was then they heard a shuffling near the cage that she'd placed where Rev decided to check on it to make sure it wasn't another surprise that Zed brought in out of nowhere. Taking a glance at what was inside, it was a claw that appeared unlike any type of claw he'd seen in Seabrook. Wynter walks over to look surprised at the object to hear movement in the bushes again as it was a shadow that growled at them before disappearing into the night.

"Santler Claws is real. Santler Claws is real!"

She howls in excitement and hugs the zombie before dragging him back to the party to show her packmates and the others proof of Santler Claw's presence. Willa and the others smiled at Wynter's tradition and was surprised that he was real, with the claw being shown and everyone looking at the robot's fireworks. Zed had got his wish at making his Z-Man party memorable with friends new and old to celebrate it with while thinking about what awaited everyone in the new year.

"I hope everyone have a good day enjoying the holidays with their loved ones and a New Years. The Zombies series will return in 2025 with new characters, new monsters, and someone that will shake up Seabrook. Until then, happy Z-Mas."
