After school, Nick is eager to make amends with Laney.

"Laney, wait up," he jogs to her side.

She rolls her eyes and gives him the cold shoulder, as she should, given how he maltreated her brother.

"Laney, I said I was sorry. I didn't realize he was your brother." He pleads.

"I knew it!" Will shouts.

"What?" Nick asks.

William points across the street at Mikey, who hands the camera over to LJ.

"Yearbook, my ass, he took those pictures for the Scorpions!"

Laney quickly tries to convince Nick and the gang to leave Mikey alone. "Please, don't hurt him. Look, I'll handle it."

"Not this time," Will says. "This time we handle it. Let's get the car from the shop!" Will runs, and the other Tbirds follow.

Laney yells, "Nick, no!" But this time, it's Nick who offers the cold shoulder.

Laney marches across the street. "Mikey! Mikey what are you doing?!"

"Nothing, catching a ride with my friends," he explains before climbing into the enemy's car.

"We've got room for one more. What do you say, Laney?" LJ pats the seat right next to him. Disgusted by his offer, she crosses her arms, squints her eyes, and huffs.

When the Tbirds drive up, Will hangs his arm out the window, "Balmudo." He greets him with an intense stare.

"Heyyy, I see you gave your car the ole spit shine," LJ laughs.

"The way I see it, you've got something I want," Will said.

"Oh yeah, what are you gonna do about it?" LJ asked.

"Raceway Valley, now!" Will shouts.

"You're on, man!"

Will and LJ speed away, leaving Laney on the road. Luckily, the pink ladies have room for one more.

"Get in," Brooke said to Laney, who quickly entered the pink ladies' car.

Raceway Valley is where most disputes are settled between teenage enemies if they own a car. Otherwise, it's your typical hallway fight, body slamming against the lockers until Mr. Middleton breaks it up. But in this instance, let the race commence! Both vehicles line up at the starting point. Brooke parks her car on the sideline, and Laney and the other passengers get out. Will puts his car in park, and then he and the rest of the Tbirds exit their vehicle as well.

"You leave that loser in the dust," Charlie says.

"Yeah, you've got this, Will," Nick and the others boost his ego while LJ's crew stays in the car.

"Mikey, what are you doing? Get out of the car," Laney said while approaching the scorpion vehicle.

LJ gets out and leans back against the driver's door; he looks over at Mikey, who shakes his head no while sinking lower into the seat.

"Looks like he wants to ride, sis," LJ responds.

"No," Laney objects as Brooke pulls her away. "We have to do something," Laney said.

"Trust me, you don't want to be this close when they take off," Brooke continues, pulling her away.

"Hey!" LJ pulls his sunglasses down to the tip of his nose. "We ain't discussed my payment if you lose."

"I ain't losing," Will replies.

LJ laughs, "I love the confidence," he pushes his glasses back up to his face and gets back into his vehicle. He proceeds to violently rev his engine to intimidate Will.

"Don't worry about him," Nick pats Will on the shoulder. "You're going to do great out there."

Charlie hops into the Tbird car to inspect the gauges, dust off the dash, and make sure the windshield is clear.

"All good. I'd say you're ready," he accidentally shifts the car into neutral while exiting the vehicle, and the front wheel rolls over Will's foot!

"Ow!" Will yells in pain as he grabs at his foot.

Charlie quickly stops the vehicle, and Nick helps Will hop away. The Scorpions begin laughing as LJ honks his horn. "Hey! Come on, we gonna race or bunny hop?!"

"You can't drive like this," Nick says to Will.

"I'll drive," Jared volunteers.

Will agrees and Jared gets into the driver's seat. Brooke walks over to stand in front of both vehicles.

"On your mark!"

Both drivers stare straight ahead.

"Get revved!"

They grip at their steering wheels.

"Goooo!"

They both step on the gas pedal. Brooke turns around to see the backside of both vehicles speeding neck and neck. The pink ladies and the Tbirds begin to cheer from the sideline. Jared is in first, but LJ quickly claims first place as he and his crew cheer and laugh from inside the vehicle. Jared floors the gas pedal and catches up to LJ who sideswipes him. The pink ladies gasp.

"Hey, that's cheating!" Charlie yells.

Jared keeps the car as steady as possible while LJ sideswipes him again. They make it to the turnaround and head back to the finish line. Jared's engine starts smoking as they approach the six-foot wooden valley sign. LJ sees this as an opportunity and sideswipes Jared one last time, forcing his car to crash into the sign. The race is over when LJ reaches the finish line.

"Oh no, Jared!" Jackie and the others run to his aid. He opens the car door and falls out. "Oh my gosh, Jared, are you alright?" Jackie drops to her knees beside him and lifts his head.

"Did we win?" Jared asks.

"No, that punk's a cheater!" Lyon yells.

Jackie helps Jared to his feet, and the two kiss and makeup. LJ drives up and he and all the other passengers get out of the vehicle.

"Looks like it's time to collect my trophy," LJ grabs Laney by her arm.

"Whoa. Hey!" Nick shoves him as Laney jerks her arm away. "She's not your trophy," Nick gets in LJ's face.

"You wanna piece of me?" LJ bumps up to Nick.

"No! No, Nick, I've got this." Laney stood in between them. "You want me, then we do an even exchange."

"Nah, nah, nah, that's not how this works. I won fair and square. I get the camera and the trophy," LJ said.

"Not the camera," Laney pauses. "My brother, he stays, and I'll go."

LJ looks over at Mikey, who shakes his head no. "You were never cut out to be a Scorpion anyway, kid," LJ said as he gestured with a tilt at another Scorpion, who then shoved Mikey across to the TBird's side.

"Satisfied?" LJ asked.

"Yeah, ok." Laney looks over at Nick, slowly walks to the Scorpion's vehicle, and gets into the car.

"Laney," Nick utters under his breath.

"Later losers," LJ said as he and his crew drove away with Laney and the camera.

Grease Lighting tow truck picks up the Tbirds vehicle. "Does anyone need a ride back into town?" Danny asked before driving away in the tow.

"Nah, we'll give them a lift," Brooke said.

But Mikey didn't want any part of the Tbirds or their ladies. He looks over at the pink ladies' vehicle and then at Danny.

"I'll take a ride," he said.

He hops in the tow truck and he and Danny drive away. The pink ladies and Tbirds pile up in the pink ladies' vehicle and also drive away.
