Kangoku Senkan: Hunter of the Stars
Chapter 2
Strike on the Echo of the Void
On broad the Juno's promise were a collection of men and women, each of them wearing a uniform that was similar in appearance to that of a soldier. Some of them were dressed in armor, while others wore simple fatigues. One man in particular, however, stood out from the rest. His name was Juuka Amenosa, and he had served in the army of the Federation military and the leader of the Hounds of Orion, the Black Ops Special Task Force that did the dirty work that the Federation could not do publicly or officially.
Juuka was currently walking around the Juno's Promise smiling as he was looking around the corridors and inspecting areas around the ship that he was allowed access to until he reached the command deck. The hallway had many compartments with each door was adorned with a unique symbol, signifying the different departments and responsibilities of those who resided behind them. There were the quarters for the engineering team, marked with a distinctive gear-shaped emblem. Opposite to that were the accommodations for the medical staff, bearing a prominent red cross. Further along the corridor, the officers' cabins stood out, distinguished by a gold star emblazoned on their doors and finally, at the very end, the largest and most impressive door bore the rank of the Captain of the Juno's Promise, Murruko Ramius. It was embellished with a majestic eagle, its wings spread wide, representing the authority and leadership that emanated from within.
"Hmm, I gotta say the Neo Solars Faction spared no expense on this baby," Thought Juuka to himself as he had to admit that the Neo Solar's had good taste. Even from the outside, the Juno's Promise was a stunning vessel. Its sleek and streamlined design hinted at the speed and agility it possessed, yet the subtle curves and contours suggested a grace and elegance that was uncommon among the spaceships. It was a perfect blend of form and function.
The Captain smiled as he remembered the data he was able to pull last night after the party thanks to Lucy and his Lieutenant infiltrating the data servers on base while he was mingling with the Commander and her little fangirl shadow partner.
***Yesterday***
Neo Solar military base, Data Farm Servers.
Outside of a secure facility that housed the computers and servers of the Neo Solar's military, a group of guards stood watch, their weapons at the ready. They were well-trained and vigilant, determined to protect the valuable information and technology contained within. However, what the guards did not know was that there was a threat lurking nearby, one that could easily slip past their defenses undetected.
Hidden in the shadows, a lone figure crouched low, their movements barely audible.
It was Lucy, a skilled hacker and infiltrator who had been tasked with gaining access to the secured facility. As Lucy approached the perimeter, her mind raced with the possibilities of how to breach the security measures in place. She had to think quickly and strategically, considering every angle and potential obstacle that could stand in her way.
"This is insane even for me," muttered Lucy under her breath with her heart was pounding in her chest, and her palms were sweaty.
She had done similar missions like this before, but this one was different. The stakes were higher, and the consequences of failure were dire. Lucy took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down.
She couldn't afford to make a mistake...
She had to stay focused and in control.
With a sense of determination, she opened her eyes again and continued her stealthy approach. The guards were still unaware of her presence, and that was just the way she liked it. Once she got close enough to the compound, Lucy scanned the entire area, noting the locations of the guards and the cameras mounted on the walls. Her eyes widened when she saw that the cameras had a wide coverage area. She knew that once she entered the range of the camera, her chances of getting caught increased tenfold. "Damn, that's a lot of security," she whispered to herself. She had to come up with a plan and, as fast as an H.U.D opened up in her vision as her cyberdeck that was implanted in her brain, was already hacking the camera using a wireless connection. Within seconds, the camera was under her control, and the guards were none the wiser.
Lucy's eyes twinkled with excitement.
"Well, that was easy," she murmured, a smirk forming on her lips. She felt a surge of confidence, knowing that her skills could outsmart any security system, no matter how advanced it was. She proceeded to hack and loop the camera footage to provide her the perfect opportunity to sneak in. Lucy slipped into the darkness and disappeared from sight. She was invisible to the naked eye, blending in with her surroundings like a chameleon. With her quick thinking and resourcefulness, she had managed to evade the guards and gain access to the secure facility.
As Lucy sneak through the facility avoiding guards she spoke into her earpiece communicator to contact the Lieutenant of the Hound of Orion, Rusty, to update him on her progress.
"I'm in," she whispered. "No alarms, and I have full control over the security systems."
"Great job, Lucy. Now the blueprints of the facility show that the server room is on the second floor, near the northwest wing. Can you get there?" Rusty replied, his voice clear and steady in her earpiece.
Lucy checked the map on her personal terminal pad, nodding to herself. "Yeah, I can manage that, but what about the security measures in that area? Shouldn't they be more intense?"
"Don't worry, we've got that covered. We've uploaded a virus earlier that will disable the sensors in that area. Just move quickly and quietly, and you should be able to get in without triggering any alarms."
Lucy nodded, feeling a rush of adrenaline."Got it. I'm moving now."
Lucy made her way through the darkened hallways, keeping to the shadows and staying alert for any signs of movement. Finally, she reached the door to the server room. It was locked, of course, but that was nothing a skilled hacker couldn't handle. Lucy pulled out a cord that was on the back of her neck as her cyberdeck interface with the door's lock system as she plugged it into the port located near the lock, her fingers flying over the keys on her personal terminal pad as she worked to override the security protocols. In no time, the door slid open, and she stepped inside the brightly lit room. Rows of servers lined the walls, humming softly in the silence.
"I'm in the server room," she reported. "Now what?"
"Good job, Lucy. Now find the terminal that's connected to the central network. Once you've located it, plug in the device we gave you. It should upload the program that will allow us to gain access to the entire network's data storage."
Lucy scanned the rows of machines until she found the terminal in question. She quickly inserted the device and watched as the program began to upload. Suddenly, a red light flashed on the screen, and a warning message popped up:
INTRUDER DETECTED. SECURITY PROTOCOLS ACTIVATED.
Lucy's heart raced as she tried to disable the security measures, but it was too late. The alarms were sounded, and the sound of footsteps could be heard approaching the server room.
"Damn it!" she swore under her breath. "Rusty, the alarm's gone off! What do I do?"
"Just hold on, Lucy. We need that data." Rusty's voice was tense, and Lucy could hear the urgency in his tone. "Just stay put and keep working. Don't let anything stop you."
Lucy gritted her teeth and continued to work on the terminal, her hands shaking with adrenaline and fear. The sound of the footsteps grew louder, and Lucy knew that she had to act fast. Using the skills that her Father and Mother had taught her, Lucy was able to reroute the programs and bypass the system's security protocols. She downloaded the required data and then unplugged her device. Just as she was about to make her escape, a guard appeared in the doorway, his weapon raised and aimed directly at her.
"Freeze! Hands in the air, now!" he shouted.
Lucy froze, her heart pounding in her chest. She had no weapons on her, and the only way out was past the guard.
With a flick of her wrist a thin wire shot out from her wrist as it slice the guard's handgun. The Guard was shocked as he barely had a second to react as Lucy rushed towards him and engage in hand to hand combat with the razor sharp mono-wire retracted back into her wrist. The guard was a skilled fighter but was no match for the augmented strength and speed that Lucy posse. With a series of quick and precise strikes to his vital areas, Lucy disabled the guard and knocked him unconscious. She could hear the sounds of more guards approaching, but she didn't have time to waste.
She needed to get the data to the rest of her team.
As she made her escape, Lucy felt a sense of triumph. Despite the danger, she had succeeded in her mission, but she knew that her journey was just beginning, and there were many more battles to come before they could complete their quest and free themselves from their former lives forever
Rusty was waiting outside the Facility in a unmarked vehicle waiting to extract Lucy and make their getaway from the heavily armed guards of the facility. Lucy ran towards the vehicle and quickly got in as Rusty gunned the engine and drove off, leaving the facility behind.
As they drove, Lucy looked back and saw the guards chasing after them.
"We need to lose them," she said. Rusty nodded and took a sharp turn, leading the guards on a wild chase through the streets. He was a skilled driver and was able to evade the pursuing guards, finally losing them in the busy traffic of the city. As they drove away, Rusty glanced over at Lucy.
"You did good," he said. "I'm glad you're on our side."
Lucy smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had survived her first mission, and she was ready to take on whatever else came their way. Together, she and her new team were going to make a difference.
They were going to break free from the chains that bound them and carve out their own destiny, no matter what came their way.
When the duo was in the clear, Rusty's eyes were still fixed on the road ahead as he drove back to the Hounds of Orion Barracks. Lucy nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her, but she couldn't help but wonder what lay in store for them next. The data they had stolen from the facility was vital to their plan, and they had to make sure that it didn't fall into the wrong hands. As they drove through the night, Lucy's thoughts turned to the future.
***Back to the Present***
Juuka giggled excitingly as the data they pulled from the server confirmed his suspicions that his commander/ handler was after the same target as he was but there was only one problem... This Prey was his for the taking and he would not let some arrogant little girl take that from him. Juuka had already planned his attack on the Battleship Jasant to capture his prey who was the Captain of the ship... Donny Bohgan, who was a notorious agent of the Neo Terrans.
Juuka knew that his opportunity would not remain open forever, so he had to act fast. His plan was simple, use the Commander Rieri and Major Naomi as bait since they were both easy to manipulate and to control, as the girls were too naive and arrogant to suspect that their escort was a bumbling fool, a shameless skirt chaser, and a miscreant that had his eyes set on them. Juuka's plan was to board the Juno's Promise, and from there to sabotage and gather influence among the crew but first he had to get Reiri and her lackey off his scent as he knew she was trying to dig into his past if last night's party was any indication.
Reiri would use her influence and connections to gain intel on him, and therefore he had to come up with a way to neutralize the threat before she caught on to the fake facade he was putting up. He would have to try and seduce the two of them, using his charms and wit to convince them that he was nothing more than a lowly grunt, a mere pawn in the grand scheme of things, a nobody who was a poor soul that was forced into joining the army to serve his sentence.
And if that didn't work, well... Juuka had other methods of persuasion that were at his disposal.
Juuka was walking on his way to his crew quarters as he saw Naomi Evans and Rieli Bishop making their rounds on the ship. Seeing the perfect opportunity, Juuka snuck up on the women, startling the unsuspecting Rieri and her lackey.
"Ah, My two Goddesses of Victory, to think that we embark on this voyage across the stars screams of destiny, don't you agree ladies?" Juuka said in his smooth flippant voice.
Naomi was the first to react as he hand automatically went to her side arm. Startled and enraged, she shouted "Captain! I will not tolerate your inappropriate advances towards the Commander and me. If you continue to harass us, then the authorities will be notified!"
"Naomi!" Rieri stopped her from drawing her weapon on Juuka and continued, "Captain... We would like to request that you refrain from engaging in such activities with us in the future."
"I understand, My Little Lipchen. It's just that I find it so difficult to resist the allure of two beautiful women," Juuka replied, his gaze shifting between the two of them, his smile never wavering. "The sirens calls beckons this poor fool into partaking the sweet, sweet voice of desire and temptation!"
Juuka smiled while giving his trademark flirty wink to the both of them.
"You're a dirty old man, and you need to learn to respect the authority of the Federation. We're here to keep the peace, not to entertain your perverted fantasies." Naomi scoffed at him, her anger clearly evident in her tone, and her fists clenched, ready to teach him a lesson at any moment.
"Please, please, no need for name calling or violence, my little flame of passion," Juuka tried to calm the hot headed special military investigator down, "I meant no harm, nor disrespect. I'm simply just a man, a humble servant of the federation, doing his job to the best of his ability. But alas, I'm a flawed mortal, and I must admit that I have a weakness for beautiful women."
Juuka's charming grin seemed to have a calming effect on Naomi, but Rieri remained stern and unwavering, her eyes fixed on him with suspicion and disdain.
"You're a scoundrel, Captain, and a disgrace to the uniform. You should know better than to behave in such a manner, especially in front of an officer of rank." Rieri's words struck him like a slap in the face, and his smile faltered for a moment as Juuka's aura of domination was leaking out before he quickly reeled it back and gave a wide grin of amusement, still undeterred.
"Oh Commander, I didn't think you like to play rough," Juuka said with an amuse tone. "But then again I am a man that likes a little pain with pleasure my vixen of carnal delights." At that comment the Captain of the Hounds of Orion ran his finger over his lower lip as his tongue followed his motion, his eyes darkened with lust and desire. He was staring at both of them, as his mind was fantasizing the possibilities of what was under the uniforms that they wore.
"Captain, that's enough! Do not make me repeat myself." Rieri's voice was cold and sharp as a blade, and her eyes glared at him, daring him to cross the line once more. "I will not tolerate any more of your inappropriate behavior, and if you continue to act in this manner, there will be consequences."
"But Commander, don't you know, that which is forbidden is what is most desired." Juuka teased her, his smile growing wider at the thought of getting a rise from her. His eyes sparkled with mischief, and his body language suggested that he was having the time of his life, despite the tension in the air.
Rieri's jaw tightened, her patience wearing thin, and she was about to give him a piece of her mind, when a feminine voice interrupted their conversation.
A young female, dressed in an junior commission officer uniform, stepped in and cleared her throat. "Commander, the ship's crew has assembled, and they are ready to receive the mission briefing."
Rieri turned her attention to the newcomer, and her expression softened. She was a petite woman, but the power in her voice and the confidence in her stride were unmistakable. Her red hair was pulled into a twin tail hairstyle, and her eyes were a striking shade of indigo. Juuka's gaze was drawn to her immediately, and he could not help but notice the curve of her hips and the way her uniform hugged her body.
"Well aren't you just a cute little bunny. Oh fair beauty of innocent delight, pray tell me, what is thy name so that I may worship in its glory and in turn grant thee all that thy heart desires." Juuka's words were thick with innuendo, and his gaze was intense, if almost predatory. He was leaning against a nearby bulkhead, his arms crossed over his chest and his legs spread in a relaxed, yet dominant stance. The woman was taken aback, and her cheeks flushed pink at his blatant flirtation.
Rieri was taken aback with Captain Amenosa's flirting as the man was just flirting with her not just 5 seconds ago before moving on to another. The man was an enigma, his carefree attitude a stark contrast to the serious and disciplined environment of the Space Force. It was not the first time that she had encountered his whimsical nature, and she knew that he was nothing but trouble. He was a maverick and a constant source of irritation for her, but despite his faults, she could not deny that he was an expert in unconventional warfare. His methods were unorthodox, to say the least, but his results spoke for itself.
"Umm, my name is Meyrin Hawkins , Captain Amenosa, and I'm the Yeoman of this ship." The woman stammered, struggling to keep her composure in the face of the infamous Juuka Amenosa. Even in the ranks of the Neo Solars, his reputation was well known, and she could not help but feel a mix of awe and apprehension in his presence.
Rieri could see the nervousness in her eyes and felt a surge of protectiveness towards the younger woman. She had been in the same position once, a fresh graduate from the academy, full of ideals and enthusiasm. Now, years later, she was a hardened soldier, a veteran of countless battles and conflicts, but she had not forgotten the feelings of uncertainty and vulnerability that had plagued her in those early days. She wanted to shield her from the likes of Juuka... from the harsh realities of the military.
"Come on, don't be shy, my sweet little bird. Tell me, do you have a boyfriend?" Juuka persisted, undeterred by the woman's discomfort. He was a man who lived in the moment, taking whatever pleasures he could find in the chaos of their existence.
"Uhh... Captain Amenosa... I... Umm... I..." Meyrin was at a loss for words, her cheeks burning with embarrassment, and her mind racing with a mixture of confusion and excitement.
"Enough, Captain! Leave her alone. She's a junior officer, and you're a senior officer. There's a code of conduct that we're supposed to follow, and your behavior is unbecoming of an officer of rank." Rieri snapped, unable to contain her anger at the Captain's inappropriate advances. She had enough of his antics, and she could not stand by and watch him torment an innocent subordinate.
Juuka was amused by her outburst and could not resist taunting her.
"Oh, come now, Commander Bishop, don't be such a stick in the mud. I'm just trying to get to now the crew members better. You know 'breaking the ice'? You can't blame a guy for wanting a little conversation, can you?" He said, a smirk playing on his lips as he looked at her defiantly.
However, Rieri was not in the mood for his games and shot him a glare that could have melted steel.
"Watch yourself, Captain. I'll report your insubordination to the Admiral." She threatened, her voice cold and hard as she turned on her heel and stormed off, leaving Juuka and Meyrin behind.
Meyrin stood there, frozen in place, her heart pounding in her chest. She knew that the Captain's behavior was unacceptable, but she could not deny the thrill of excitement that coursed through her veins at the thought of him flirting with her.
As the crew of the Juno's Promise prepared her for her maiden voyage, the decks and hanger bays were abuzz with activity. Crewmembers hurried back and forth, carrying supplies and equipment, while engineers and mechanics scurried around the ship, making last-minute adjustments and checks. Everyone was on edge, eager to get the ship underway, and the air was charged with anticipation and excitement. Despite the hectic atmosphere, the crew worked together seamlessly, their movements practiced and efficient. They had all been carefully selected for their roles, and each member of the team was an expert in their field. Their mission was of the utmost importance, and the stakes could not have been higher.
Naomi Evans watched from the corner of the room, her eyes narrowed and her expression set in a permanent scowl. Her gaze was fixed on Juuka Amenosa, the captain of the Hounds of Orion.
The tension in the room was palpable, and Naomi could feel the weight of her mission pressing down on her as she and her best friend, Rieri were in charge of this operation of finding and capturing a know criminal and operative...Donny Bohgan of the Neo-Terra faction.
His name was a well-known in the ranks, and his reputation was a dark one. Rumors had spread of his nefarious activities, and the military police of the Neo Solar Faction had been investigating his involvement in the illegal human experimentation, but despite their efforts, he had managed to evade capture and continue his illicit activities.
As the Juno's Promise took flight, Naomi's focus was entirely on the task at hand. She had trained tirelessly for this moment, and her dedication to the mission was unwavering... that was until she met a particular annoying captain.
"You know if you keep scowling like that, you'll ruin that impeccably beautiful face of yours." Juuka said as the man suddenly appeared in front of Naomi who jump in surprised as she was so focused on her thoughts that she did not see or hear the man approach.
"What do you want?" Naomi asked, trying to keep her voice steady, her tone sharp and clipped.
Juuka chuckled, a deep, rumbling sound that seemed to reverberate through Naomi.
"Oh, come now, Major," he replied, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "We're on the same side, aren't we? There's no need for hostility."
Naomi bit her tongue, fighting the urge to snap at the man. He was right, of course. They were on the same team, and their success depended on their ability to work together...But that didn't make it any easier to stomach the fact that the man before her was the kind of person she despised the most. From the rumors that had reached her ears, Juuka was a braggart, a playboy, and a shameless flirt, always ready to make a pass at any woman who crossed his path.
It was clear that he thought of himself as some sort of Casanova, a modern-day Lothario.
But to her, he was nothing more than a cad, a rake, and a scoundrel, and she had no patience for his antics.
"There you go again with that scowl, but that would make your smile that much sweeter. I can't wait to see the day you will turn that frown upside down," Juuka teased, a playful grin tugging at the corners of his lips.
This infuriated her even further, but Naomi knew that she had to keep her cool. Despite her dislike of the man, he was still a valuable asset to the mission, and she couldn't afford to let her personal feelings get in the way of their shared objective.
"Listen, Captain," Naomi said, her voice low and firm. "I don't like you... but we're on a mission, and we have to stay focused."
Her words were meant to be a warning, a reminder that they had a job to do and that there was no room for distractions but for the captain it was more of a challenge.
"But can't we mix a little pleasure with business?" Juuka countered, his voice smooth and suggestive. "It's not everyday that you get to voyage in the Federation's state of the art ship and accompany her on her maiden voyage... Well, I can't say that she won't be a maiden once I'm through with her."
Naomi felt her cheeks burn with anger, and her hands balled into fists at her sides. She couldn't believe the audacity of this man, the nerve of him to proposition her in the midst of such a critical mission.
But before she could give him a piece of her mind, a commotion broke out across the deck.
The sound of raised voices and hurried footsteps filled the air, and all heads turned to the source of the disturbance.
There was a scuffle between ship's onboard Master at Arms and one of Amenosa's men, in particular with Gunnery Sergeant Michiharu "Micky" Balos and his second in command, Lieutenant Russell "Rusty" O'Brian. It seemed that the Master at Arms caught the two soldiers doing a contraband exchange and was in the middle of a heated argument that had almost escalated to a full blown fight.
"Captain Juuka Amenosa!" the Master at Arms shouted, her voice booming and commanding. "You and your men will behave accordingly aboard my ship, or I will have you all confined to quarters for the duration of our trip. Is that understood?"
The silence that followed was deafening, and for a moment, it seemed as though the entire room was holding its breath. All eyes were on the two, waiting to see how the situation would play out.
"Ah, Miss...umm I ashamed that I haven't had the pleasure in being acquainted with fierce and lovely Tigress such as yourself. What is your name, mon petit chou-fleur and what is the meaning of this disturbance," Juuka spoke smoothly and confidently. His eyes darted between the Master at Arms and his own subordinate, assessing the situation with a keen eye.
The Master at Arms was a formidable figure, as she was tall with dark brown hair with blonde highlights at the tips. Her uniform was crisp and her posture rigid, but it did nothing to hide her curves and ample breast that threaten to spill out of her uniform while her skirt was barely able to cover her thick thighs.
Juuka was not one to back down from a challenge as he stepped forward, his movements fluid and purposeful, as he approached the two officers.
"I am Chief Warrant Officer Maki Date, the Ship's Master at Arms, and the head of Security aboard the Juno's Promise," the officer replied, her voice sharp and authoritative. "And the reason for this disturbance is that I just witnessed a illegal contraband transaction of one your crew members to your man here." She gestured towards Micky, who was still standing next to the Master at Arms, a sheepish expression on his face. "I will not stand for any illegal activities on this ship, and I expect better behavior from both of you."
Juuka nodded, acknowledging the Master at Arm's words with a small smile.
"Of course, Chief, and please accept my apologies on the behalf of me and my men," he said. "I'm sure that it was all just a misunderstanding, and I can assure you that there will be no further incidents of this nature. My men are professionals, and they know the importance of following the rules and regulations set forth by the Space Federation."
Juuka glanced at his subordinate, his gaze hardening slightly. "Isn't that right, Micky?"
"Yes, Sir," Micky replied, his voice thick with contrition. "It won't happen again, Sir. And I apologize to the Chief and the crew of the Juno's Promise for causing any distress or disruption."
The Master at Arms nodded curtly, satisfied that the matter had been settled.
"See that it doesn't happen again," she warned. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have other matters to attend to. Carry on, Captain."
With a final, stern glance at the two, the Master at Arms turned and walked away, her footsteps echoing in the silence that had fallen over the room.
"Sir..." Michiharu began, but Juuka held up a hand to silence him.
"Don't say anything, Micky," he murmured. "Just go and get the supplies ready. We need to keep a low profile for now until the time is right... I don't want to see you getting in trouble again. Understood?"
"Yes Sir!" Micky replied, snapping a crisp salute and heading off to carry out his orders, leaving Juuka alone to contemplate the encounter with his second in command .
"Rusty... what happened?" Juuka asked his XO, his voice calm despite the chaos that had erupted around them. Rusty's reply came quickly, his tone urgent and focused.
"Sir... we were carrying out our orders on placing listening devices throughout the ship as well as familiarizing ourselves with the ship, as per your instruction but the Gunny was caught by the Master-At-Arms... Micky doesn't have the most experience with stealth ops so I'm not surprise that the clumsy bastard was caught," Rusty reported, his eyes flicking back and forth as he tried to keep track of the situation in front of him. "But the good news is that Micky's quick thinking was able to fool the Master-At-Arms with him passing the surveillance device as narcotic contraband. The rest of the squad was able to finish planting the devices and have a basic layout of the ship."
Juuka was quiet for a moment, his mind racing as he processed the information Rusty had given him. Finally, he spoke, his voice firm and decisive. "Alright then. Let's proceed with the mission. Have the squad continue to gather intel and report back to me. And make sure to tell the team to stay sharp and not get sloppy... We need to know the pieces on the broad before The Game can begin."
Rusty nodded his head as he left to carry out his captain's orders and relay the message to the rest of the unit, his movements swift and efficient. Juuka watched him go, his thoughts already turning to the challenges that lay ahead. He knew that the stakes were high and that any missteps could have disastrous consequences, but he was confident in his team's abilities. They had been through countless missions together, and had proven themselves to be resourceful and adaptable in even the most difficult situations.
As Rusty disappeared down the hallway, Juuka turned and headed in the opposite direction, his mind already focused on his next task. Despite the challenges that lay ahead, he felt a sense of excitement building within him as a sly grin spread across his face.
"Yes... a very formidable woman, indeed," he mused. "She'll make an interesting addition to our little group, once the time is right. Until then, I'll bide my time and wait for the perfect moment to strike. For now, though, let's play the part of the obedient soldier and earn her trust, shall we?"
***In the Mission Briefing Room***
"Everyone, listen up," called out the commanding officer, Rieri Bishop, her voice booming through the room. The men immediately snapped to attention, their eyes fixed on Rieri as they awaited her next words.
She surveyed the room, taking in the sight of the hardened soldiers before her.
"I have received an encrypted file directly from HQ that details the specifics of our assignment," she continued. "It is imperative that we succeed, as the future of the entire Neo Solar Faction may hinge on the outcome."
She paused, letting the gravity of the situation sink in before continuing. "Our objective is to infiltrate and extract data from an illicit listening station located on an unregistered asteroid, code-named, The Echo."
The silence in the room was palpable as the soldiers digested the information. It was clear that this was no ordinary mission, and the stakes were higher than ever. But they were the best of the best, and they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
"Make no mistake, this will not be a walk in the park," Rieri warned. "We are dealing with a highly secretive and well-protected facility, and the enemy will stop at nothing to keep their secrets safe. We must be prepared for anything and everything."
The soldiers exchanged determined glances, their resolve hardening. They had faced danger before and come out on top, and this would be no different.
As Reiri was giving the briefing another figure was standing around bored out of his mind.
"(Sigh)... Do I really have to be here Rusty?" Juuka quietly complained as he stood next to his XO.
Russell in return gave a look that said, 'You should be listening'.
"If I have to be here and listen to the briefing then you should suffer with me as well, Captain. Also the Commander requested this as a, All Hands Meeting so that means All Hands." Russell responded with his monotone voice.
Juuka sighed again and tried to pay attention to the boring speech that the beautiful commander was giving
"The Black Site is a heavily guarded facility, protected by state-of-the-art security measures and armed personnel. They have a sizable force of mercenaries at their disposal, and we can expect heavy resistance once we are discovered. To further complicate matters, the site is equipped with an early-warning system that will trigger an alarm if any unauthorized vessels approach, and its defensive systems are top-notch. We cannot afford to be detected, or the consequences could be catastrophic," Rieri explained, her expression stern."We will need to proceed with extreme caution and use stealth tactics to avoid detection-"
"Ruuuussstttttyyyy, this so boring... maybe I can sneak off and-" Juuka said as he tried to leave the meeting unnoticed.
"Captain, if the Commander catches you leaving the meeting just to chase skirts and goof off, you know she will report you to her superiors. You will have to face the consequences and will probably have to fill out the paperwork that comes with the reprimand. Just bear with the meeting a little while longer." Russell advised to his captain. Trying to make his leader see reason in the current situation, "Besides, I believe that the Commander is finishing her part of the presentation. Maybe you can just sleep in the corner and catch up on some much needed sleep."
"Fineeee, If the rest of the meeting is that short then I will endure it." Juuka said in turn as he continued to daydream.
"The operation is scheduled to commence in 5 hours from now. Use the time to prepare. Dismissed!" With a final, commanding shout, the meeting came to a close, and the soldiers scattered to their respective duties. Each of them had a crucial role to play, and failure was not an option. As the briefing concluded, a hush fell over the room as the soldiers filed out to make their final preparations.
One of the crew members, a burly, battle-scarred veteran named Kain, caught the arm of his comrade, a lean and wiry man known only as the Jack.
"Hey, Jackie, you think we've got what it takes to pull off a job like this?" Kain growled, his gravelly voice betraying a hint of unease.
"We'll find out soon enough, won't we?" Jack, ever the stoic one, simply shrugged and replied, " Especially if those Hounds are the ones doing it."
As the team dispersed, their thoughts turned to the daunting task that lay ahead. Infiltrating the Black Site was no small feat, and the risks were high, but as the clock ticked down, each soldier steeled themselves, drawing on their training, their experience, and their unwavering resolve to see the mission through to its end.
As Rieri Bishop finished her briefing, the room was filled with a mix of anticipation and anxiety. The mission was no doubt going to be challenging and dangerous, but the soldiers were eager to get started and prove their worth. As the team dispersed to prepare for their upcoming mission, the tension in the air was palpable.
Juuka however had no such feelings of anxiousness or dread. He knew that his team would be successful and that the mission was child's play. His thoughts were only on the data that Lucy was able to hack back on the Titan military base and the surveillance devices she had him and him men hid throughout the ship.
Juuka walked to the barracks where his squad was and saw the others busy in their preparation.
"Captain! We have gathered all the supplies and materials needed. Everything is ready and secured," reported the logistics specialist Carter, a young man with a slight tremor in his voice, his excitement and apprehension evident in his tone as he was the youngest Hound of the group. Juuka nodded in acknowledgement and gave a small smile, hoping to reassure the nervous youngster.
Juuka looked over his men and gave a loud whistle to gather their attention and to bring focus. "Alright everyone, let's do a final gear check before we move out. Make sure your weapons are loaded and your armor is secure. We'll be departing in 30 minutes, so make sure everything is in order."
The team quickly went to work, checking and double-checking their equipment, ensuring that every last detail was accounted for. The atmosphere in the room was tense, but there was also a sense of determination and camaraderie among the soldiers. Juuka waked over to their newest addition which was a young female augmented hacker, Luciela "Lucy" Kushida.
"Luuucy! I'm home." Juuka said in a playful and teasing tone which earned a snort of amusement from the young girl.
Juuka had a special relationship with the girl in a way that he did not have with his other subordinates. Lucy was a young augment woman and had joined the Hounds of Orion strike group not too long ago. Though the two had a professional working relationship their partnership had developed from their shared experiences and mutual goal in wanting to be free of both the Neo Solar and Neo Terran Factions Grand Game.
Juuka had a unique charm and humor that brought a lightheartedness to even the darkest of circumstances, and Lucy appreciated his ability to keep morale high with his informal and laid-back attitude made Lucy feel at ease but she knew that behind his jovial facade was a cold calculating mind that was capable of committing acts of brutality that would shock anyone.
In return, Lucy's expertise in hacking and her unwavering commitment to the team's success had endeared her to the Hounds, her technical prowess and keen insight provided a valuable asset to the team, enabling them to overcome obstacles and achieve their objectives with efficiency and precision.
"So Lucy how's with deciphering that data?" asked the Captain in a casual tone, as he sat on her desk.
The young woman grinned and replied confidently, her fingers flying over the keyboard, "It's coming along well, Captain. Just a few more tweaks and I'll have the encryption broken, giving us access to the private communications and intelligence of the Neo Solar's Black Books. Our mission will have a higher chance of succeeding and you know, that will give us an edge in the field, allowing us to anticipate our opponent's moves and adapt our strategy accordingly. Additionally, having this vital information can aid in the negotiation process, providing us with leverage and an advantage in the talks." she explained.
"Music to my ears, my Little Songbird." Juuka praised her in a flirtatious manner. "So how goes accessing the ship's mainframe?"
"I've already managed to crack their firewall, and now, it's just a matter of accessing their mainframe and..." Lucy continued, her eyes gleam as he personal portable terminal started to beep as the screen flashed red.
"Uhhh...should we be worried about that?" Juuka asked in a cautious tone.
"Don't worry, It's all good, the program is still running. But in the meantime," Lucy looked at Juuka in an impish manner. "I have a question to ask."
"Ohhh, a question, huh? Well, shoot then." Juuka said in a relaxed manner.
"Tell me, why did you save me and not leave me to die?" the young girl inquired, her voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of vulnerability.
Juuka smiled warmly, his gaze meeting hers. "Well, let's see. You were so cute and adorable that I couldn't resist, and your skills in hacking are impressive... Besides, who else could provide the team with the best tech and gear, and make sure we don't get bored on missions? Plus, I couldn't bear the thought of such a pretty face like yours suffering. So, I guess it's safe to say that I wanted to have a beautiful, talented hacker on our team, and that's why I decided to rescue you."
Before Lucy could retort Juuka's statement the P.P.T suddenly shut off as Lucy's eye focuses back on the screen.
"Trouble?" The captain asked in a concerned manner.
"Give me a minute," the young woman responded. Her fingers flew across the keyboard, her eyes scanning the lines of code on the screen. "Looks like there's a bug in the system. This code... it's a sophisticated one, designed to keep the system locked down. Whoever programmed this was a pro...almost like it's...no way... Give me some time, and I'll have it fixed. No need to worry, Captain. I've got everything under control," she reassured him, her confidence unwavering.
As the minutes ticked by, Lucy's focus remained on the task at hand. She worked tirelessly, her hands moving swiftly over the keyboard.
"FUCK!" Lucy shouted, slamming her fist on the desk in frustration. "This damn thing is locked down tighter than a fucking virgin's legs. Every time I think I'm getting close to cracking the code, another layer of encryption pops up. And to top it off, it keeps on changing if I can't break through in time."
"That sounds serious," Juuka remarked, his brow furrowing in concern. "...are we compromised? Is there anyway they can trace this back to us?"
Lucy sighed and shook her head. "No, I've made sure of that. This terminal is air-gapped from the network, and it's not connected to any external devices. They can't track us. But, the fact that they've taken such extreme measures to protect their data means that whatever information they're hiding on this ship is important. We're definitely onto something big here."
"I can see that," Juuka nodded in agreement, his expression growing grim. He understood the significance of the situation and the risks involved in their mission. "You're doing an excellent job, Lucy. Just keep at it and we'll find a way to break through. Whatever secrets they're hiding, we'll uncover them."
Lucy looked up at him, her eyes filled with determination. "I won't rest until I've cracked this code, Captain. You can count on me."
"Good but make sure you take proper precautions... We can't have our Little Commander and the Ship's crew find out what we planning just yet..." the Captain said to her as he gave her a sly wink.
Lucy blushed slightly at his words.
"Yea...yes sir" she mumbled before returning her attention back to the computer.
Juuka smirked to himself at seeing her blush at his playful banter and headed toward the door, but stopped short of exiting, turning to address her again. "Oh, and one more thing, Lucy. Do not push yourself too hard, alright? Take breaks if you must," he advised in a concerned tone, before stepping out and closing the door behind him.
As soon as the door closed, the Captain's thoughts turned to the next phase of their plan. Once Lucy had broken the code and unlocked the ship's main data core, they could finally put their carefully planned out scheme into action.
Juuka's informal and easygoing personality was a stark contrast to the typical military hierarchy, and his unorthodox methods of communication and command were a source of constant annoyance and frustration for his superior officers. His tendency to dress casually and speak in an overly casual manner grated on the nerves of those who valued discipline and decorum above all else.
Despite these challenges, Juuka's unconventional leadership style had proven to be highly effective. His ability to think outside the box and adapt to changing circumstances had helped the Hounds of Orion to achieve success in countless battles and missions. His men followed him without question, not because of his rank or his formal authority, but because of his charisma, his courage, and his unwavering loyalty to his crew.
***A Day Later***
On Broad the Juno's Promise
As the day of their departure approached, Juuka was wearing a prototype Space Federation issue Armored Muscle Suit (A.M Suit) that was colored in black and grey, his face was covered in a full helmet with an opaque visor that completely obscured his features. It was a cutting-edge piece of technology, designed to provide protection and support to the wearer's muscles, enhancing their strength and endurance. The suit was a sleek, form-fitting creation, hugging the contours of Juuka's body as he had a tactical assault vest over it that had pockets that contained a wide range of equipment. From holder for the extra ammo to medkits and various gadgets, the vest had everything that a soldier needed to stay alive and complete their mission.
The sound of his footsteps echoed throughout the corridor as he strode confidently towards the bridge, his boots clanking against the metal deck plating. He could hear the hum of the bridge's radio communications and the chatter of the crew members, going about their duties, preparing the Juno's Promise Battleship for the upcoming mission. As he entered the bridge, he was greeted by the sight of ship's captain, Murruko Ramius. She was a seasoned veteran, having commanded ships in countless engagements. She stood at the center of the bridge, her posture erect, and her gaze fixed on the viewscreen ahead of her, her long brown hair was hanging loose but clean as her appearance was immaculate in her Space Federation uniform. Around her, the crew was busy at their stations, monitoring the ship's systems and coordinating the final preparations.
"Captain on the bridge!" announced the executive officer, Natarle Badgiruel, a young woman in her mid-20s who looked very young for her age. She wore the same uniform as the rest of the crew, except for the addition of a blue collar that designated her rank. Juuka nodded in acknowledgment as he took his place beside Murruko.
The bridge of the Juno's Promise was a hive of activity, with crew members working at their consoles, monitoring the ship's systems, and preparing for the upcoming mission. Behind her was her helmswoman, Talia Karrade, at the controls. She was a skilled pilot, and her expertise was essential to the navigation and piloting of the advance Juno's Promise.
Juuka exchanged nods of acknowledgement with the two of them before heading towards his station on the bridge.
"Well Captain Murruko, this is a fine ship you have here," he said, admiring the sleek lines of the vessel.
"She's one of the finest in the fleet," replied Murruko. "And I'm sure she'll prove herself in the battles to come."
"We're ready to launch the mission, Ma'am." reported the Communications Officer, Zenia Edwards. "We've received the latest intelligence reports, and the target coordinates have been uploaded into the mission team shuttle's navigation system. We're just waiting on your command."
"Excellent work, everyone," Said Murruko , looking around the room. "Let's get underway. Helmswoman, set course for the coordinates. All hands, prepare for battle!"
"Aye-Aye, Captain," Said the helmswoman.
The Juno's Promise surged forward, the powerful engines propelling the ship through the vastness of space.
Juuka Amenosa had a reputation for his impulsive nature, often acting on instinct rather than waiting for orders. His disregard for protocol and procedures had earned him many reprimands from his superior officers, but he had always managed to get the job done, regardless of the obstacles in his path.
Juuka was at the hanger bay of the Juno's Promise with his fellow soldiers, each dressed in their own version of the A.M Suit. Some were checking their weapons, others were reviewing the battle plans, while still others were engaged in conversation, joking and laughing to relieve the pre-battle jitters. Despite the tension that hung in the air, there was a sense of camaraderie and unity that Juuka had come to rely on. These were his men, his brothers-in-arms, and together, they would face whatever dangers awaited them on the battlefield. Juuka took his place at the helm, surveying the assembled troops with a critical eye. He had trained and drilled his men relentlessly, honing their skills and preparing them for the rigors of combat. Each man was a finely tuned instrument, ready to play his part in the symphony of war. He knew that his men were counting on him to lead them to victory, and he was determined not to let them down. With a final nod of approval, he turned to address the group, his voice carrying across the hanger bay.
"All right, men," he barked, his tone firm and commanding. "It's time to move out. You know the plan, and you know what's at stake. Let's go and show these Neo Terrans what we're made of!"
The soldiers responded with a resounding chorus of cheers and battle cries, their enthusiasm infectious.
"ALRIGHT! STOW IT YOU BASTARDS!" Gunnery Sergeant Michiharu barked out. "I want a weapons check in and gear secure in 2 minutes or else, I'll have your sorry ass's scrubbing the latrines and toilets for a month, do ya here?"
The Gunnery Sergeant was a tall, grizzled man in his early 30's. He had a square jaw and a permanent scowl etched on his weathered face, and the scars that criss crossed his body were a testament to the battles he had fought and survived. Despite his intimidating presence, the soldiers had a deep respect for the Gunnery Sergeant. He had been with them from the beginning, fighting side by side in countless battles, and they knew that his harsh words were simply a mask to hide his concern for their safety.
The Hounds of Orion loaded their guns and readied their equipment, the familiar routine providing a sense of calm amidst the impending chaos. As they finished their preparations, the hangar bay doors opened, revealing the vast expanse of space beyond. The sight was awe-inspiring, a sea of stars stretching out before them, a reminder of the incredible distances they had traveled to reach this moment.
Juuka took a deep breath, savoring the cool, crisp recycled air that filled his lungs as a voice called behind him.
"Hey Cap, are preparation almost done?"
The voice belong to Lucy as she was outfitted in a standard Space Federation Armored Military Space Suit which was colored black. It was a form fitting suit that covered her from the neck down. A helmet was attached to the left of her hips that can be detached at a moment's notice and has a visor that covers her eyes and nose.
"Yes, all the men are ready. How are the preparations on the ship's side going?" Juuka asked, turning to look at her.
"The shuttle is ready, we'll launch once you're aboard." Lucy replied confidently.
"Excellent work," Juuka praised her, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. "And... any luck with gaining access to the Mainframe."
Lucy looked left and right to make sure that no one was listening in on their conversation. After doing so, she quickly pulled out a data pad that had a blue holographic screen that was projected from the device. On the display, was a map that showed the interior layout of the Battleship Juno's Promise and had several red blinking dots on the blue screen, with a single yellow dot that was moving around the bridge of the ship.
"No, but I was able to pinpoint the ship's data server room. If I can get in there then I can directly splice into the ship's Mainframe." Lucy said.
"Good job," Juuka complimented her, his smile growing wider. "I knew you were the perfect hacker for the mission."
Lucy blushed at the praise, feeling a surge of pride.
"Thanks, Cap," she replied, her cheeks flushed. She felt a warm, fuzzy sensation spreading throughout her body, a mixture of excitement, anticipation, and something else she couldn't quite put her finger on.
Juuka's words of encouragement and his unwavering faith in her abilities had ignited a fire within her. Despite her reservations about the mission, she couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility to prove herself worthy of his trust. She had worked tirelessly to hone her hacking skills, spending countless hours delving into the depths of the digital realm, and now, standing beside him, she realized that all her hard work had paid off.
"Well then enough about that. I want you to stay close to me or Rusty during the mission as things are probably going to get hot." Juuka said, before continuing, "Don't worry, though. You'll be safe with us. We won't let anything happen to you, Lucy."
"I know, Cap," Lucy responded, her voice laced with a newfound confidence. "We've got this. Let's show the Neo Terran's what we're made of."
With a final nod of agreement, Juuka and Lucy made their way toward the shuttle that awaited them, their minds focused on the mission at hand. As they were about to board the sleek, stealth vessel, a hand grabbed Juuka's shoulder as the man stopped to turned around and see Naomi Evans looking at him in the eye.
"You didn't think that you were gonna left alone on this mission unsupervised?" Naomi asked, her lips curled up in a playful smirk. "I'm coming along, whether you like it or not, and that's final."
Captain Juuka Amenosa chuckled, his amusement was hidden under a faint layer of annoyance. He had anticipated her insistence on joining the mission, and yet, a part of him couldn't help but admire her tenacity.
"Well, looks like I don't have much of a choice, do I?" he retorted, his eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. "But remember, Major, while orders are orders... in the field, my word is law. So, behave yourself, will you?"
Naomi huffed, her chest rising and falling with indignation. "Oh, believe me, Captain, I'll be the epitome of obedience," she quipped, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "As long as you don't screw things up, that is."
"Is that a challenge, Major?" Captain Amenosa taunted, his eyes narrowing slightly. "Because if it is, then maybe I can show you a thing or two about the fine art of sabotage."
"Bring it on," Naomi shot back, her determination unwavering. "Let's see who comes out on top in this little game of espionage. My bets are on me, of course."
"Careful, Major. Hubris is a dangerous thing, especially in our line of work." With those cryptic words, Captain Amenosa stepped onto the shuttle, his footsteps echoing in the vast hangar.
Naomi watch the enigmatic Captain who one minute was a flippant play boy and another a serious and competent soldier. She did not know how to act around the Captain and was frustrated at the fact that she could not pin him down. The man was a mystery to her and her pride would not allow her to leave the matter alone. She will uncover his secrets and the truth no matter what it takes.
Just as the captain boarded the shuttle, the sound of humming closed in on the shuttle as 5 white balls hovered and floated in the air. Each of the ball opened and revealed themselves to the group to be a miniature drone each had a camera lens armed with one 20mm rapid-fire cannon and two phaser machine guns. The drones controlled wirelessly and were capable of flying autonomously or being piloted by a remote control. They had a sleek, streamlined design that allowed them to fly quickly and quietly. Their bodies were constructed of lightweight materials, such as carbon fiber, which made them durable and resistant to damage. The drones were equipped with a GPS system that allowed them to navigate and avoid obstacles, as well as a collision detection system that helped prevent crashes. They had a range of several miles and could communicate with each other and the pilot via a wireless connection. They were also capable of operating in various weather conditions, including strong winds, rain, and snow. The drones were designed to be stealthy and inconspicuous, with a matte black finish that made them difficult to spot in the dark.
These drones were Gun Turtles, the latest and state-of-the-art model of drones that were created and mass produced by the Space Federation. These Gun Turtles were the property and were under the command of the Major Naomi Evans, who was a talented Gun Turtle Operator. There were many of these Gun Turtle models and the next generation was being researched and develop.
Naomi looked at her beloved gun turtles and gave them a silent order to follow her. The drones immediately followed her every move, their mechanical hum a soothing balm to her anxious mind. They were like extensions of her own body, always there to back her up and provide the firepower she needed in any situation. As she walked toward the shuttle that would take her and ther team to the mission area. Inside the cramped quarters of the shuttle, Juuka Amenosa was waiting for her.
The hanger crew prepare for the stealth shuttle for launch, the engines starting, the airlock sealing. The stealth shuttle was prepared to disembark, and in the cockpit of the stealth shuttle, the pilot was checking all the systems. The flight plan was entered, and the destination set as it was time to depart. With a final check of the instruments, the pilot signaled to the control tower that they were ready to go. The control tower acknowledged and cleared the shuttle for departure. As the shuttle lifted off the ground, the pilot could see the stars shining brightly in the void of space. It was going to be a long journey, but the pilot was confident that they would make it to their destination safely.
The bay doors of the Juno's Promise opened as the environmental barrier activated creating a force field to keep the atmosphere in the hangar bay. Once the environmental barrier was stabilize the shuttle would be cleared to launch.
The pilot slowly and steadily push the throttle forward as the stealth shuttle's engine roared to life as the thrust propel the ship out of the hangar bay doors' and into the vastness of space.
In the pilot's seat, was the stoic man named, Zal. The man had served the Hounds of Orion and was a loyal soldier to Captain Amenosa. He would do anything that the Top Dog ordered and would give his life in a heartbeat. This was what was expected from the men of the Hounds of Orion; unwavering loyalty to their commanding officer and T Pack.
Zal had served with Juuka since the beginning and had suffered the same illegal human experiments as the rest of the squadron. This was the reason why he was so devoted to the captain. If the captain had not come to their rescue, then his whole squad would have been turned into braindead vegetables or have died from the torture and inhumane treatment they had endured at the hands of the mad scientists of the Neo Terra faction.
"Zal how goes the flight?" Juuka asked as he leaning over the pilot.
"All is well boss. We will reach the designated location in a couple of hours."
"Good, the sooner I get to that station the quicker we can resolve the issue and leave. I hate being in this place... it's too cramped. Also, keep your eye out for any anomalies in space and let me know. I don't want to be surprised on this mission," Juuka replied.
"You got it, boss."
With that Juuka made his way to the back of the shuttle and strapped into the passenger seats. Looking out the window of the stealth shuttle, Captain Juuka Amemosa, could see the endless expanse of outer space. The vastness of it all filled him with a sense of emptiness and longing. He was a man who had experienced much in his lifetime, from the highs of victory to the depths of despair, and yet still, there was something about the cold, unforgiving darkness of the universe that tugged at his soul. It was a feeling of homesickness, not for a specific place, but for the warm embrace of the stars themselves. As the shuttle hurtled silently through the cosmos, Captain Amenosa stared out at the distant points of light, and wondered what secrets they might reveal, and if, someday, he might find his way home among them. But that would be a fool's hope, a hope of a child. To believe in such things would be foolish and naive, and Captain Amenosa had no time for such nonsense.
Naomi watch the Captain who for once was not hitting on her as he stared at the vast void of space. Naomi could not understand the mind of the man before her, one minute he was shameless playboy who flirted with any female in sight while disregarding any proper regulations and discipline, the next the Captain would be a ruthless and calculating leader. She had heard rumors that the Captain was once a prisoner on the notorious prison of Hell's Gate on Charon. The rumors even said that the Hounds of Orion were all hardened criminals. A shiver of fear crept up her spine as Naomi had heard the stories of the brutality of the prison and the fact that the prison had no record of any successful escapees. For the entire squad to survive the horrors of Hell's Gate must have been truly nightmarish and the idea of being a prisoner in the same facility as the men of the Hounds of Orion scared the young Major.
On another part of the shuttle, the team of the Hounds of Orion was going over their equipment and making sure everything was ready to go. Lucy walked up to Lieutenant Russell "Rusty" O'Brian, the second in command of the group and a fellow augmented human, to ask him a question. "Hey Rusty, I need to know something."
"What is it?" the man replied.
"What is the captain's deal? Is he some kind of sociopath or just a natural born leader?" the girl asked, looking at the man in front of her.
"I guess that's the right word to call him. But that's not exactly the point. Our captain is, well, unique, to say the least." Rusty said, a smirk appearing on his face. "You're not the first to wonder about him, you know. He's not an easy man to figure out, that's for sure. But then again, I don't think anyone really knows the true nature of the captain. We've been together for a long time now, and we still can't figure him out."
"Really? How so?"
"Well, let's put it this way: our captain is the type of guy that likes to keep secrets. And when he does share them, he's not very forthcoming. So, if you ever find yourself in the situation where you have to ask him a personal question, don't expect a straight answer." The man explained. Lucy thought about it for a moment, before nodding her head. She didn't get a good feeling from the conversation, and she knew that there was probably a lot more that Rusty wasn't telling her.
"Thanks, anyway. I'll keep that in mind." She said, noticing the large amount of weaponry they were carrying. "So... you guys are packing some heavy heat, huh?"
Rusty smiled and shook his head. "It's because we're not exactly subtle. We're a bit like the boogeymen of the battlefield, and when you've got the kind of muscle we do, why bother sneaking around? We're not really known for our finesse, and let's be honest, we don't have a lot of use for it." He said, his gaze turning to a tall man loading a magazine into his rifle, a large scar across his face. "Take that guy over there. That's Gunnery Sergeant Michiharu "Micky" Balos. You can see that he has the same augmentations that I have, but his personality is the exact opposite of mine. His fighting style is completely different from mine too. While my specialty lies in stealth and long range engagements, his is brute force and getting up close and personal."
Lucy nodded her head.
"Yeah, I can see that. Seems like a pretty interesting group, huh?" She asked, her eyes wandering to the rest of the men. They were all wearing similar suits of armor, each one bearing its own unique design. "I see that you guys are sporting A.M Suits, buts these are different than the ones I've seen. They are more sleek and less...mechanical."
"Yeah, these new models are much better than the old ones. They're lighter, faster, and have more protection." Rusty explained. "Plus, the new suits have a lot of neat features that makes them easier to wear. Like the HUD, or Heads Up Display, and the suits does increase our strength and speed. But the biggest difference between the old model and the new one is the power plant. With the older suits, the user had to manually recharge it, which could be done by plugging it into a standard outlet or using a battery pack. However, with the new suit, the power plant is integrated into the suit itself, and is recharged whenever the wearer moves. This means that the suits are always at full charge, and the user never needs to worry about having to replace the batteries or finding a charging station." He continued, looking down at Lucy. "You're not thinking of trying to hack the suit are you?
Lucy looked at the suit and shrugged. "No, I was just curious, that's all.
The Hounds were all dressed in the same uniform, save for their helmets, which were customized to their individual tastes. The helmets were the same color as the standard Hounds of Orion, but with a variety of patterns and designs, ranging from plain to extravagant. Some had spikes protruding from the tops of their heads, while others had skulls painted on their visors. It was a strange sight to behold, and yet, somehow it fit perfectly. Like the armor, these were not soldiers, but warriors. Each of them a warrior in their own right, and each of them a legend in their own minds.
As stealth shuttle of the Hounds of Orion cloaked and hovering in space silently as it had arrived to listening space station. Which was located on an asteroid field, the perfect spot for an ambush if someone was foolish enough to try anything. A massive floating asteroid platform that housed a network of antennas, dishes, and other communication equipment, all of which were designed to capture signals from passing ships or probes. It was a marvel of engineering and ingenuity, and was capable of intercepting transmissions from anywhere in the solar system and beyond. The station was also equipped with a number of advanced sensors and scanners that were used to monitor the movements of ships and other objects in the area. As the stealth shuttle of the Hounds hovered nearby, the crew of the craft were all on edge. The listening post was located in a sector of space that was controlled by the enemy faction, the Neo Terra, and was therefore heavily fortified and guarded.
"Steady as she goes, Zal..." Juuka said calmly as he stood behind the pilot in the cockpit, staring intently at the screen before him.
"I'm doing my best, Captain," the pilot replied. "But the Asteroid Field is so dense, and we're having trouble maintaining our position."
Juuka nodded as he knew that the asteroid field was a dangerous place to fly, and the slightest miscalculation could lead to a catastrophic crash. But he also knew that the mission depended on them getting to the Listening Post without being detected.
"Just keep us on course, and we'll make it," he reassured the pilot.
"Roger that, sir," the pilot replied, as he adjusted the controls to keep the shuttle on course. Juuka and the rest of the crew were all on the edge of their seats, their hearts pounding in their chests. As they drew closer to the Listening Post, their tension began to mount. Finally, they were within range of the station, and Juuka gave the order to activate the cloaking device. Suddenly, the shuttle disappeared from view, and the crew held their breaths. They were now invisible to the sensors of the Listening Post, and could move in undetected. Slowly and carefully, the shuttle drifted towards the station, until it was positioned directly above the main communications array.
Juuka grabbed his main weapon, M2A4 Battle Rifle which is a semi-automatic battle rifle, chambering the hefty 6.19x97mm LEC cartridge. The Space Federation eventually started to phased out the M2A4 and replaced it with the SX101 Assault rifle, though it still remains in service amongst special forces units due to its reliability and precision.
Juuka adjusted his wrist mounted tactical shield, J.A.C.K knife, and his sidearm, the XMA8 Smart pistol. He looked back at his squad, the 6 men that were in the back of the shuttle were loading up on ammunition, checking their weapons and securing their gear. The squad consisted of:
Michiharu- Heavy Weapons Expert
Russell- his right hand man
Gust- demolitions specialist
Lucy- Hacking and Computer Expert
Yamato- Medical and Biological Expert
Naomi- His handler
Juuka trusted these men, with his life, and knew that they would follow him to the depths of hell.
The Shuttle slowly over the exterior hatch of the listening station as the team sealed their suits, and their weapons loaded and ready for action.
Juuka knew that this was going to be a tough mission, but he had confidence in his team.
"Alright everyone, listen up," he shouted, his voice booming through the team's intercom radio's. "We have a job to do. We need to get in and out of that Listening Post with the data."
The team all nodded in agreement, their faces grim but determined. With a final nod from Juuka, the shuttle door opened, and the team jumped out.
Juuka and his team shot out their grappling hooks as their bodies descended at a alarming pace to the surface of the listening post. They braced themselves for the impact, their bodies slamming against the cold, metallic surface. Their boots clicked onto the floor, magnetizing them in place as they unhooked their lines and readied their weapons. Juuka took the lead, signaling to his team to follow him with Naomi's gun turtles following close behind her.
As Juuka and his team moved forward on the outside surface of the listening station, their senses were on high alert, scanning for any sign of trouble. After what felt like an eternity, they finally came to the airlock as Juuka motioned Gust and Micky with a hand signal to breach the outer entrance. With a quick nod, both of his teammates began setting charges on the metal door, preparing to blast it open. Once the charges were in place, the team took cover, and the explosives detonated. In an instant, a gaping hole appeared as the atmosphere was leaking out where the door once stood, and Juuka and his team quickly poured in, weapons at the ready.
As the team entered the dimly lit corridor of the listening station, the station's automatic systems kicked in, and the hole was closed, re-pressurizing the area. The lights flickered on, revealing a network of narrow hallways and cramped rooms. The silence was oppressive, and the only sound was the faint hum of machinery and the shuffling of the team's footsteps. Without a word, Juuka looked at Lucy who was on her personal terminal tablet as she looked for a terminal to splice into.
"Alright, Baby Girl it's your time to shine." Juuka as he motioned his men to take covering positions. " We don't have much time before they send someone to investigate the breach we made."
"Roger that," Lucy replied as she found a terminal and went to work. In a matter of seconds, the system was compromised, and the blueprints of the station appeared on their HUD. "It looks like the control room is just down a couple of hallways."
Juuka nodded in approval and signaled the rest of the team to advance. They passed through a series of corridors, checking every corner and clearing each room before moving on. Suddenly, the silence was broken by the sounds of gunfire, and the team immediately dropped into a crouch, their weapons raised and their eyes scanning for threats as they encounter a security group of armed guards around the corner. A hail of bullets zipped past them, and the hallway erupted in chaos. Juuka and his team exchanged fire with the guards, their rifles and pistols blazing in a symphony of destruction. Despite the deafening noise and the chaos of battle, the team remained focused, each member working in perfect harmony to eliminate the enemy threat.
Micky Fired his Spite Fire Light Machine Gun (LMG) to provide suppressing fire as a hailstorm of bullets kept the mercenary security force pinned down. With the distraction, Rusty moved forward and took cover behind a metal crate. He quickly scanned the area and located the weakest point in the enemy's defense.
"Captain we have a weakpoint, permission to use an Anti-Personal Grenade?" Rusty asked as he slowly reached in his tactical pouch and pulled out a small round grenade.
"Do It," Juuka ordered. Rusty primed the grenade, and within seconds, a bright flash and a deafening boom shook the entire corridor, momentarily stunning both sides. Taking advantage of the confusion, the team surged forward, closing the distance between themselves and the remaining mercenaries. As they approached, the mercenaries opened fire once again, but this time the team was ready. They ducked and weaved, using their superior agility and teamwork to evade the incoming bullets. Meanwhile, Gust and Micky continued to lay down suppressive fire, keeping the mercenaries pinned down and unable to mount a coordinated counter
They took cover behind some crates and corners as Juuka returned fire with his battle rifle killing a few guards with well placed shots. The team advanced, methodically taking out the guards one by one. But the fight was not easy, as the enemy was determined to hold their ground. Bullets flew past the strike force, narrowly missing their heads and grazing their armor. But the team remained resolute, refusing to let the danger of the situation deter them. After what felt like an eternity, the last guard finally fell, and the team emerged from the chaos, their adrenaline pumping and their hearts racing.
"Is everyone okay? Anyone injured?" Juuka asked, his voice filled with concern.
"We're all good, captain," Lucy replied, his voice slightly shaken. "That was one hell of a firefight."
Once the coast was clear, the team regrouped and pushed on to the control room.
Naomi was impressed once again by the skills of the captain and his men as they were a well oiled machine that worked in perfect tandem to eliminate the threat. Naomi thought that the Hounds of Orion were an unruly bunch of misfits that were barely able to cooperate together but in the end, she could see the results of their hard training and discipline. She had to wonder what kind of man could inspire so many hardened killers to follow him without question. Maybe, there was more to this Juuka Amenosa than meets the eye, maybe his reputation was not undeserved at all.
The team pushed on as they faced minimal resistance from the station's security forces that were not prepared for an assault from such an elite strike force. After a short while, the team arrived at a large, reinforced door that led to the control room. The team stacked up on either side of the door, ready to breach and clear the room.
Juuka took out a kunai shaped knife as he stabbed the wall and activated the pulse sonar attached at the other end of the blade. The Pulse Sonar was a cutting-edge military device that allowed soldiers to scan and identify the number and positions of enemies within a closed room. It emitted ultrasonic waves that reflected off solid objects, creating a real-time image on the soldier's tactical visor. The sensor was built into the handle of the Kunai Knife, allowing the user to discreetly activate it and assess the situation at where ever the blade was thrown. This gave the soldiers an unparalleled advantage, enabling them to plan their entry and neutralize any threats efficiently and effectively. Juuka looked at the holographic read out on his HUD that showed the exact location of three enemy hostiles.
Juuka linked his Helmet's display with the team as they stacked up as Naomi prepared her 3 of her Gun Turtles for entry as this was the safest option. The team's demo expert places charges on the door as Juuka gave a silent countdown with his fingers.
When the last finger was counted, the charge blew the door wide open...
***Command Center of the station***
The Commander of the station was getting reports of a team of intruders effortlessly shooting his men down as they fought their way to the control room. His comms officer yelled out to him that the intruders have breached the final hallway and were at the door.
The commander was a stout man in his 40's who was balding and a bit chubby. He had gotten his position not because of his skill but from his family's wealth and influence. The commander was scared and trembling from fear and shock as his officers were yelling at him and each other on what to do.
"What the hell! How did these intruders slip pass our sensors and scans!" the commander shouted in terror. "Who are they?"
"Sir, I believe they might Special Forces, sir." His Lieutenant said. She was a small thin woman in her 20's with her hair in a bun and glasses. "We should prepare for an assault on the Command Center!"
The fat man was visibly sweating and shaking from the news. "How? No, why would they come here?! What's going on?" the commander demanded. "What's happening on my station!?"
Before he could give an order to surrender, the door exploded in a ball of flames and smoke. The crew ducked from cover from the exploding debris. A second later, 3 Gun Turtle Drones came in blasting all the bridge crew in a hail of bullets and laser fire as the commander was hiding under his desk and shivering in terror.
After the firing stopped, the commander peeked over his desk to look and see the damage that was done. There lay the smoking corpses of his officers and crew, and the smell of burnt flesh, iron, and blood was in the air.
"Knock, knock...is anyone still alive?" A voice called out from the smoke and debris. The commander looked toward the destroyed doors to the bridge and saw a figure walking in. It was a tall, muscular, figure dressed in a black combat suit that was followed by others who dressed similarly. Behind the man were five armed drones that had a gun and cannon pods on their sides.
The strange man walked around the bodies and carnage on the bridge, surveying the damage.
"So sorry about the mess but you locked the doors and had some rather rude company greet us at the door. So, I decided to let myself and my friends in." The mysterious man said in a carefree tone. "Now, where can we find the person in charge of this fine station?"
"Right here, asshole!" The lieutenant shouted as she grabbed a hidden pistol from her shoulder holster and shot at the man. The bullet hit the man in the chest, and the lieutenant smiled at her accomplishment, thinking that this would scare off the intruder. But to her horror, the man didn't fall down dead or drop to the ground in pain. Instead, the man stood there and just brushed off his suit and picked the flattened round from his chest plate.
"Uoooh, that's a hell of a way to break the ice, but I sure do love a woman who is aggressive." the man smirked and laughed. He tossed the bullet to the lieutenant and winked at her as he approached her. To her surprise, the lieutenant started to become hot and flustered.
"Now, sweet cheeks, could you please direct me to your commander? If you do, I promise not to harm you and will treat you with the respect that a lady like yourself deserves." the man said, smiling. The lieutenant blushed and shyly nodded as she pointed to the fat man hiding under his desk.
Suddenly, the man's eyes changed to a cold stare as at the same time, the man's right arm blurred, and a pistol was now in his hand. In less than a second, the man pulled the trigger. The sound of the pistol firing was the last thing the lieutenant had heard, as the bullet had pierced through her skull. Her body then crumbled to the floor in front of the terrified commander. He watched in horror, as the man casually threw the spent casing to the side and walk over the lieutenant's corpse. With a swift motion, the man picked up the commander and lifted him to his feet.
"I see your the man to talk to." The armor figured said.
The stations commander was sweating as he was forced to his feet and facing the stranger. He was shaking and trembling with fear as the armored figure was now in his face. He could not hide the smell of urine and feces. His bladder and bowels released, and the stain of his pants began to grow. He was utterly and completely defeated.
"Please...please..." the commander sobbed and whimpered in defeat. The figure sighed and shook his head. Suddenly, the helmet retracted itself, revealing a handsome, slightly tan, black-haired man. The commander looked at the man and saw his sharp, hawk-like blue eyes that could pierce a hole in the strongest of men's souls. A dark, sadistic smile formed on the man's lips that caused the commander's blood to freeze and turn cold
"Now, now there is no need to be afraid. Now, I'm going to ask you a few simple questions and take some data after which me and my merry crew will go along our happy way." the man said, his grin slowly became more sinister.
The station's commander swallowed the lump in his throat and reluctantly nodded his head.
"Now, that's a good boy. First question, do you know of a man by the name of...Donny Bohgan?" the man asked, his tone becoming serious. The station's commander hesitated at first, but the sight of his dead soldiers and the lieutenant caused him to relent. It was pointless to resist any further. All his pride and honor were now gone, and the only thing that remained was his pathetic, cowardice, and survival instincts.
"N...no." the commander stuttered, and tears began to flow down his chubby cheeks.
"Hmm... shame. Well, here is my next question, where is the location of the Battleship Jasant?" the man asked again.
"Wh.. why? What would you want with them?"
"Curiosity. That is all. Just curiosity." The man replied.
"Ok, ok, please don't hurt me! I will tell you, just don't hurt me." the commander pleaded in a pathetic whiny voice. The man's smile returned to his face, and he motioned his hand in the direction of the computer terminal.
"Good. Good. You're making the right choice." The man's complimented and then turned to his subordinates. "Micky, Gust, Rusty keep a look for any reinforcements. Lucy, Baby Girl, can you be a sweetie and hack that terminal and extract as much data as you can."
"Yes sir!" the troopers shouted and went to their duties.
"And Naomi, my dear Femme Fatale and lovely Blood Rose of Thorns... you can decide what to do with this...thing okay?"
"Wait! You said that you wouldn't hurt-" the Commander screamed before a fist knocked out several of his teeth. He could feel the metallic taste of his own blood and a searing pain that would never forget.
"I said that, I wouldn't hurt you... I never anything about my lovely and beautiful associate here." Juuka said with a smug smile.
The commander looked at his attacker and saw a tall, muscular, brown-skinned, green-haired woman standing above him. Her piercing, fiery red eyes were staring daggers into his soul, and her face was twisted in a furious scowl. The commander knew that he was going to die in the worse possible ways.
This woman was going to make sure of that.
"Thank you, Juuka." Naomi thanked her captain and then grabbed the terrified, sobbing commander. Then she dragged his screaming, crying self into the airlock chamber.
"Don't forget the Captain part. It's important!" Juuka whined as Naomi smirked and shut the door to the airlock. The Commander banged on the metal door begging to be spared, pleading and bargaining to the two of them to be let go. Naomi ignored his pleas and moved the switch, the sound of his cries was replaced by the hissing and decompression of air, and the screams of the Commander were soon silenced.
"... We won't get in trouble for littering, right?" Juuka asked in a jokingly manner as Naomi rolled her eyes as once again the silly and belligerent captain was showing a side of himself that was not to be taken seriously.
With that, Lucy walked towards the computer and plugged in a small wire from the back of her neck to the terminal. Her eyes closed and a moment of silence passed. Until a few minutes later, Lucy opened her eyes and pulled the cord from the machine. In her hand was a data chip that contained all the information that they needed.
"Juuka, the data is ready. It looks like that the Jasant ship is on a routine patrol of the inner solar system and will return to earth in 3 weeks." Lucy informed the group of her findings. "It also seems that the ship is planning on carrying a VIP from Titan station to Earth to report the crimes of the Neo Terra faction."
"Excellent! Well, I think we over stayed our welcome...Gust if you would be so kind." Juuka said as his demo expert had a exciting smile on his face and a detonator in his hands.
"Juuka! What are you doing!" Naomi yelled at her captain as she had a bad feeling on what was about to happen. "This isn't another one of your stupid plans, is it!?"
"Seriously, what is with you and the commander not calling me Captain? I worked hard for that Rank..." Juuka answered in a deadpan voice and a bored expression. "Well...if you insist on me spoiling the surprise. I had Gust plant some explosives around when you weren't looking. This station is rigged to blow to you know? Cover our tracks."
"Those weren't our orders!" Naomi screamed at Juuka as the man just shrugged his shoulders in a nonchalant way. He had a look that showed that he could care less.
"Captain, the shuttle is waiting..." Rusty spoke calmly as the rest of the Hound of Orion squad were already prepared to disembark the listening station and head back to the stealth shuttle.
However, the sounds of boots and trouble were heard outside in the hallway. A reminder that there were still enemies to kill.
"Well Major, unless you want to stand here and argue over orders and deal with this unwelcoming committee. I suggest we make like a comet and skedaddled." With that Juuka, turn to leave but was stopped by a grab of his arm from a very annoyed Naomi who had a death grip on him.
"Wait a minute, Captain! Don't think you can run away from this situation! I can't believe you would do something so reckless and stupid!" Naomi yelled at the top of her lungs. If she wasn't in life or death situation, she would have hit the fool on the head and kick him in the balls.
"Oh my, Sweet-Sweet Summer Child, You wound me. I am not running. I am simply taking tactical advantage of the current battlefield." Juuka stated in an exasperated tone and a shrug of his shoulders. "Besides, the explosion would provide enough cover to escape. Why waste such an opportunity to get rid of potential witnesses?"
"Listen, I don't have the patience or the time to deal with your shenanigans... Let's just go and hope to god that you can explain yourself to the commander after this." Naomi groaned out and dragged the man by the arm, marching to where the air lock was located at.
The Major of the New Solars had to resist the temptation of shooting the man on the spot.
Juuka and his team quickly made their way to the air lock as their suits once again was sealed. Glen was the last to leave the enemy station and just before the airlock doors closed he pushed a button on the remote in his hand. A series of explosions could be heard and felt as the demo expert had laid out explosives at key and critical points inside the station, killing any survivors and making the station collapse in on itself from the inside.
The team was floating in the void of space waiting for pick up. Suddenly a large object appeared from the darkness of the stars. The Hounds of Orion was a heavily modified stealth frigate that was equipped with state of the art cloaking devices. The ships' hull was a matte black that would blend in with the vast emptiness of space. On its side was the insignia of the Hound of Orion, a white dog's head howling at a crescent moon in the background.
"Zal, my good buddy. You took your sweet ass time." Juuka joked to the pilot of the vessel.
"We are here, Sir." Zal responded, ignoring the playful banter of his Captain.
"Alright, boys and girls let's head in." Juuka ordered as the shuttle's bay doors open and the entire team used their grappling hooks to reel themselves in. After the crew was onboard, the shuttle's bay doors shut and the shuttle began to make its' way back to the Juno's Promise. Everyone was taking their suit helmets off and removing their gear.
"Good work, everyone. Get some rest. It will be a while before we get back to Juno's Promise." Juuka dismissed his team and headed towards the cockpit. As the doors slide open Juuka was greeted by Zal the pilot.
"How goes our exfil, Zal?" Juuka asked as the man focused on the helm of the shuttle
"The coast is clear. There are no enemy vessels in sight. We are in the clear." Zal answered. Just then a beep was heard and a screen came to life. It was Rieri Bishop contacting the group from a secure line.
"Juuka!" The women yelled at him as her anger at him was plain to see on her face. "Just what in the the hell did you just do!"
"I don't know what you mean, my little Bon Bomb?" Juuka played coy to the upset commander
"You bastard! You just destroyed the Neo Terran's secret listening facility and destroyed a valuable asset that we could have studied. Do you realize that now that the Neo Terra's will suspect that the Neo Solar have a mole in their faction?"
"Your worries are adorable. But the mission was a success. All of the data has been retrieved and there was no evidence of us ever being on that station."
"But you destroyed the station itself and killed all those personnel on board!"
"Relax. I already gave them their last rites." Juuka waved her concerns off.
"You did not!" Rieri was flabbergasted at his cavalier attitude.
"Yeah. Yeah. May god have mercy on their souls. See, Now they can go on to the next life happy, little Bon Bomb?"
"Ugh...I hate you!" Rieri screamed out in frustration. "As soon as you get back on the Juno's promise. You are going to give me a debrief. Am. I. Clear? And when we get back to base, you are to report to HQ for a full investigation and debriefing of this whole fiasco."
"Ah, I see that time away from me has made you grown fond of our time together. Oh my, I am blushing at our upcoming date, my Ball and Chain!" Juuka teased her.
"JUUUKK...!" Rieri could not say anymore as the transmission was abruptly cut.
"Captain. I think you are the only one in the entire universe that can make a woman that mad." Rusty said while snickering
"Hey, she is the only one that can bring that Hopeless Romantic out in me." Juuka defended himself. " It's her fault, really."
"Are you sure that is not your own doing." Rusty pointed out the obvious
"Oh be quiet, My Better Half." Juuka told the man.
"Anyways, the ship has been checked and all the personnel have been accounted for. We are good to go, Captain. Heading to the rendezvous point in 5." Rusty changed the topic.
"Great! That is good to hear. I can't wait to get back on the Juno's Promise." Juuka replied. " It's so cramped in here..."
"Also, that thing that you wanted has been procured." Rusty pulled out a data chip that Lucy secretly made a copy of as she sneaked the data chip away from Naomi's watchful eyes and handed it to Juuka.
"Excellent! This will come in handy later." Juuka smiled deviously.
"What are you planning, Captain?" Rusty asked, as he knew that whenever Juuka was smiling that way trouble was brewing.
"Just the next phase of our plan... and hopefully... Our Freedom." Juuka answered mysteriously.
Well that's a wrap and oh boy, it seems that the Captain is in hot water but this is just par for the course for him. For the weapons used like the M2A4 Battle Rifle and the Spite Fire LMG were based on the guns from Titanfall's G2A4 Battle Rifle and Spitfire Light Machine Gun (LMG). There as for the Master-At-Arms Maki Date, she is based off of Date Makiko from Digimon: Cyber Sleuth. As you can see I will be adding characters and other items from different Sci-fi and franchise to flush out certain elements in the story. If you guys have ideas or want to help add on then feel free to message me
But let me make One Thing Clear, I will have the final say and will dictate the narrative direction of the story. So please be respectful for that and I will try to do my best.
Until next time Space Cowboy.
