Tiny
"You're not gonna join them, though, are you?" Smudge asks, worry tinting his voice.
"I want to join, but it depends on what Tiny ends up deciding," Rusty replies, sounding hopeful. Tiny sat hiding in the garden, listening to his brother and Smudge talk. He knew his brother wanted to go but he wasn't sure if he should. He had recognized the blue she-cat yesterday, Bluestar, she was the cat who had told the brown cat, Tigerpaw, to leave him alone. She was kind hearted, and apparently she was the leader now, so they would be at least partially safe there. Plus they would finally feel at least a little free. That decided him, their freedom.
"Rusty!" Tiny calls exiting his hiding spot and joining his brother on the fence, "Let's go join ThunderClan." And with that Tiny was jumping down the fence and walking to the meeting place.
"Be careful, and don't forget about me!" Smudge called behind them. Tiny heard Rusty's pawsteps catch up to him and they both stopped to wait for their escorts.
Whitestorm
"Why are we collecting a pair of kittypets again?" Whitestorm asks as he walks beside Lionheart to go meet the kittypets.
"Because Bluestar thinks they would be a good pair to add to the clan," Lionblaze repeats for the hundredth time. When Lionheart had asked him to go with him to get the kittypets he had been overly confused but had agreed mostly out of curiosity. Now as they got closer to the meeting spot he thought it wasn't such a good idea to pull through with the plan. Finally they had arrived at the designated location and sitting there waiting were a pair of young cats. The looks of each of them took him by surprise, one of them was bright orange and when the light hit just right he looked like his fur was made of fire. The other was pitch black looking like a moonless starless night, and a single white paw. The orange cat had emerald green eyes while the black cat had icy blue eyes that looked like they would peirce whatever they saw.
"You're here!" The orange one said looking excited.
"You're here," Lionheart meowed calmly, "It is good to see you again Rusty, and you as well Tiny."
"Who are you?" Tiny asked suspiciously, looking like one wrong move would set him off.
"You're quite the smart one to keep yourself on guard," Whitestorm praised, "I'm Whitestorm and, like Lionheart, I am a Warrior of ThunderClan."
"I see," Tiny replies, calming only a little.
"You two ready to go?" Lionheart asks.
"Yup," Rusty says, looking prepared.
"Then let's go," Whitestorm says, turning and moving quickly into the forest.
Rusty
Rusty got up and, quick as a flash, Tiny and Lionheart had started running after
Whitestorm causes Rusty to have to gain his bearings and sprint after them. After a moment, he finally caught up with Lionheart and Tiny, and he could see Whitestorm up ahead. Then he started to jump tree to tree with the others and fell behind, but watched for claw marks to know where he was going. When he caught sight of Whitestorm, he paused, noticing something off. Whitestorm had stopped and was looking backwards, but his brother and Lionheart were nowhere to be seen. Rusty stayed quiet, watching, but then realized the other two weren't showing up, jumping down, he faced Whitestorm with his hackles raised.
"Where are they!" Rusty demands anger begins to spike.
"Who? Tiny and Lionheart?" Whitestorm relies smoothly, "Oh, I dealt with them, they aren't an issue anymore."
"But I thought you…" Rusty stammers.
"Loyal? No, all I want is to have ThunderClan to myself," Whitestorm cackles, then he was a white form running around Rusty like he was barely there.
Growling, Rusty holds his ground. This cat was much bigger than him and much faster; he would be hard to catch. Then Whitestorm attacked, and Rusty was surprised to see that, as quickly as he attacked, he became the white storm again. Whitestorm attacked a few more times, leaving scar after scar on Rusty. Trying to see him to catch him was difficult, but then Rusty noticed something: each time Whitestorm was about to attack, he slowed down just to the point he could jump to attack, making at least his tail visible. Rusty sat in wait, preparing his muscles to pounce while watching for Whitestorm, then he could see the tail. Rusty lunged at it, gripping it with his claws, then his teeth. Whitestorm shrieked in pain and stumbled in his speed.
"I think he's ready," Lionheart said, stepping out of the shadows with Tiny behind him. Rusty let Whitestorm go, looking at the two in shock before his expression became confused.
"We had to test you because your brother can't always be there to save you," Whitestorm explained calmly, licking at his now injured tail, "Which, by the way, good job figuring that out. It would be much appreciated if you kept that tactic to yourself; you're the only one to ever figure that out."
"N-no problem," Rusty mutters, shock and relief covering his features.
"Alright, now let's get to camp," Lionheart says, leading them the rest of the way through the thick forest till they get to a bush with an opening in the bottom. Lionheart flicked his tail to let them know to follow. They all walked through the tunnel until they came out the other side to see a whole group of cats just milling about, some talking, some eating, some cleaning. "Tiny, Rusty. Welcome to ThunderClan,"
