Chapter 943: The big Gaming Event tomorrow.
(April 22. Royal Woods Middle School.)
Lincoln is seen walking through the hallways, and he heads for his locker, but then he realizes something is wrong, and before someone can tackle him, he catches the culprit and of course, it's his girlfriend Jordan Rosato. "Whoa, close though. Dang, you almost got me there."
Jordan chuckles. "And I was so close too. But, as always I will take you down next time." The two of them then walk down the hallway together, and then they encounter Ronnie Anne and Sid. "You two ready for tomorrow?"
Ronnie Anne smirks. "Dang right we are. Sid and I have been learning the ropes about League of Legends, and we are going to show you two what we got. We are going to do our best, and we're gonna ace this game, to fight as five and win as one."
Sid nods. "Yeah, and it's gonna go so hard that we're gonna be pop stars wanting more!" She then sees them all silent and confused. "Sorry, when I was doing research on League of Legends, I stumbled upon the K-Pop thing they did, and they looked gorgeous, awesome and the songs were so cool!"
Lincoln knows what Sid means. "Oh, you mean the League of Legends KDA Skins. The champions who have those skins are Ahri, Evelyn, Akali, Kai'Sa and Seraphine." Then he asks. "Wait, Sid how many champions did you purchase from the game?"
Sid looks nervous. "Well, I did start out using Ahri, and then her skin category led me to the KDA line and… Yeah, I got all of them." Ronnie Anne sighs, and then she chuckles.
"Yeah, that's how normal it is for Sid. Anyway, we're wondering if you guys are gonna go and have a team meeting talk. We're looking for Nikki, since she is the fifth member of our team."
Jordan nods and she explains. "We are going to have a meeting about this. We need to talk strategy, and the Champions we're good at, and figure out what champions to ban to keep the enemy from utilizing dangerous tactics, so… I suggest, we ban Teemo before we all enter rage quit mode."
Sid is confused. "Wait what? Is Teemo that bad?"
Lincoln and Jordan look annoyed. "You have no idea." (Let's be real here… Once someone has Teemo in the game, then it's going to be a total nightmare to fight that little Yordle turd!)
But unbeknownst to them, Leslie overhears this, and she is the team leader of the other team which will compete against Lincoln and Jordan's team. 'I need to look for the others. We need to have a meeting and get ready for tomorrow! We're gonna be the ones, to be Godlike in game!'
Meanwhile, Lincoln, Jordan, Ronnie Anne and Sid are talking about some other stuff about the game. "I did a lot of background check on the characters, well champions of the game, and the regions they live in, their world and history. It's just, awesome and some areas kinda scary" replied Ronnie Anne.
"I'm more interested in the Kingdom of Ionia, so peaceful and magical, and with people who are half-animal and are wicked cool, and there are ninja's, and samurai, and a shirtless hot dude with a katana that can make wind and tornadoes!" This makes Ronnie Anne a bit freaked out.
"That would be Yasuo, the Unforgiven" replied Jordan. "A mid lane assassin and fighter, who can dish out damage and commit to both one versus one match, or end the team fight and be the ace in the hole. He has a brother, which he killed in combat, and now his brother is in the game, by the name of Yone."
"I'm still ticked off that Riot Games, and League of Legends hasn't bothered to update two champions who literally need a major rework" replied Lincoln. "Zilean and keeper of time, and Nocturne, the eternal nightmare. Let's be real here, those two need a rework and update, because they look the same as they were when the game was first released, and it makes them look weird being in a video game that has advanced and better-looking graphics."
Jordan then asks Ronnie Anne and Sid. "Speaking of which, did you guys plan to watch the League of Legends Animated Series called, Arcane?"
This surprises Ronnie Anne and Sid, and they look to Lincoln and Jordan in shock. "They have an animated series?!"
(At the Royal Woods High School.)
At the Music Club Room, Luna and Sam are here, and with Mazzy and she has something to tell them. "So, this summer there's going to be a big festival coming, and it's called The Beat the Heat Festival and it is going to be wicked cool. Get this, the whole thing starts next month!"
This gets Sam and Luna's attention. "Well, now we know what to prepare for next month. We need to write a song, one that could be good for the whole festival."
Just then, Sam checks her cell phone and she is surprised. "Whoa, dudes! Our latest song hit over one hundred thousand views and likes! This is awesome!"
This surprises them, and then Sully shows up. "What?! Really? Awesome, hey I was wondering guys… Since we are big-time and well-known, we should get matching tattoos to celebrate! I mean, we're the best band in town!"
"No." They all look to Luna. "Look, as cool as it sounds, I am not doing tattoos. That's not my thing, and also from what I do know, getting a tattoo is a painful thing for new comers who can't take the hit and the pain. Seriously, it's not a good idea, and I can tell that you guys cannot take it with ease. We should do something else, bracelets maybe?"
They all realize this and Luna is right… They can't take the pain of a tattoo, she knows them all too well!
A/N: So, coming tomorrow is the big Video Game Competition event, and they are ready for it and have been figuring out how to play League of Legends. Let's be real here, the series Arcane is so awesome, and I know Riot has plans for other series which might come someday. I hope you all enjoyed reading this new chapter guys.
