Chapter 944: The Big Game Tournament!
(April 23. The Royal Woods Middle School Gymnasium.)
This is where the whole event is taking place, and Coach Keck doesn't have a choice but to let this happen. The crowd is here, at the bleachers and all of them see the large TV screens setup on opposite direction of what is in the center of the gym, a computer setup inside of glass casings, where the teams can talk to each other, and coordinate. This is the Royal Woods Gaming Tournament and it's all about the MoBA, League of Legends!
Everyone cheers, and they see the two doors open, and the teams walking in. On the Blue side, is going to be Lincoln, Jordan, Ronnie Anne, Sid and Nikki. On the Red side, is going to be Leslie, Hope, Gretchen, Carmelina and Jo.
Everyone cheers and claps seeing this, the windows are then closed, and the gym lights turn on and the spotlights on the teams as they sit down and ready their game. Because they are in glass cases, they can only speak to their respective teams thanks to their headsets and not get distracted by the cheering and commentary from outside.
The one commentating, is someone from another world, Martin McKenzie and Boomer.
"We are here, at the Royal Woods Middle School Gymnasium, as they have their first ever League of Legends Gaming Tournament!" said Martin. "Both teams have to lock in the champions they wanna ban, and then come up with the plan on what champions to use in the fight!"
"This is going to be a tough one, with so many things that could happen!" replied Boomer. "But once the Team Fight gets into motion, then it'll be a hard way to figure out what is happening, and who the hell is fighting who. Thank god we know how the game works and who will be fighting who!"
They all see, the two teams have chosen the Champions they will ban for use.
Blue Team: Akali, Katarina, Akshan, Teemo and Kha'Zix.
Red Team: Thresh, Miss Fortune, Renata Glasc and Bel'Veth.
Then they pick out the Champions they will use, which means they all have their respective roles.
Blue Team: Lincoln – Fiddlesticks. Jordan – Darius. Nikki – Master Yi. Ronnie Anne – Caitlyn. Sid – Yuumi.
Red Team: Leslie – Rek'Sai. Gretchen – Gangplank. Hope – Nautilus. Carmelina – Xayah. Jo – Rakhan.
The teams have been chosen and the game is about to begin, the Louds notice this, and then Leni asks Lisa. "We're not all in figuring out this game and how it works. How does this work, Lisa?"
Lisa is confused. "Why are you asking me? I am a genius, but I don't know anything about this—"
"League of Legends is a Team Fight Coordinated game, also known as Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, also known as MoBA. The objective of the game is to get to destroy enemy's core or Nexus which is located at the center of the opposing teams base, it's not going to be easy to finish because the other side will be doing the same thing to destroy their Nexus Core" replied Amanda B. Lewis.
"They can earn experience which will be used to level up and unlock all of their abilities, including the game changing ultimate ability. They can earn gold coins to use to buy items at the shop back at the base and utilize their benefits to counter the enemy. They all have champions each one with different roles and purpose, but when a team fight happens, then it's all-in to see which team stands on top."
They're surprised that Amanda knows this. "What? I've seen how the game works because one of my colleagues was doing a cover story on the game and the international championship events known as the League of Legends World Championship, and those events happen in big league sports arenas and are shown on live TV. They're epic and intense."
They didn't see this coming, and Lynn Jr. didn't even know that this video game thing, is also a sport, and then Annabelle speaks. "I know about that. I also play the game too, and several other video games which are also sports-themed for events." Lynn didn't know about that either.
They all watch, and the game has begun and the in-game announcer speaks. "Welcome to Summoner's Rift." Then another announcement as the players are getting the items they need. "Thirty Seconds till Minions spawn."
The Loud's and B. Lewis' see the champion of Lincoln, and this makes Lucy smile. "His champion looks cool, who is that?"
Amanda explains, since she sorta knows. "The champions name is Fiddlesticks, also known as the Ancient Fear. Some kind of haunted, or demonic possessed scarecrow with crows contained inside of it. This champion is one of the first season champions released when the game was first introduced. But then the champion got several major updates to improve both gameplay and artwork and lore."
"From what I do know, his Passive swaps the normal trinkets of vision wards with something called, a Harmless Scarecrow, which acts like a decoy and helps Fiddlesticks get alerted on the enemy's location and he can teleport to them depending on how far they are."
"The first basic ability let's Fiddlesticks launch a scream projectile which causes the enemy to be afraid, and slowed and take extra damage, the ability is called Terrify. The second ability is Bountiful Harvest which allows Fiddlesticks to absorb health and damage enemies around him."
"The third ability called Reap, which slashes enemies in a small area, silencing and slowing them, and then his ultimate called Crow Storm, which sends a murder of crows around Fiddlesticks to damage enemies around him, he cannot attack but he can move around and keep the murder going."
This shocks the B. Lewis', and the Loud's, Lincoln chose the right character to go in and do some damage, and it's already happening, and they watch as Lincoln champion, Fiddlesticks has managed to fend off a close attack from Leslie's champion Rek'Sai.
Lisa goes through the champions being used and their abilities.
Rek'Sai: Fighter, Tank - Fury of the Xer'Sai, Queen's Wrath/Prey Seeker, Burrow/Unburrow, Ferocious Bite/Tunnel and Void Rush.
Rakhan: Support - Fey Feathers/Lovers Leap, Gleaming Quill, Grand Entrance, Battledance and the Quickness.
Xayah: Marksman – Clean Cuts/Lovers Leap, Double Daggers, Deadly Plumage, Blade Caller and Feather Storm.
Gangplank: Fighter – Trial by Fire, Parrrley!, Remove Scurvy, Powder Keg and Cannon Barrage.
Nautilus: Tank, Support – Staggering Blow, Dredge Line, Titan's Wrath, Riptide and Depth Charge.
Darius: Fighter, Tank – Hemorrhage, Decimate, Crippling Strike, Apprehend and Noxian Guillotine.
Master Yi: Assassin, Fighter – Double Strike, Alpha Strike, Meditate, Wuju Style and Highlander.
Caitlyn: Marksman – Headshot, Piltover Peacemaker, Yordle SnapTrap, 90 Caliber Net and Ace in the Hole.
Yuumi: Support, Mage – Feline Friendship, Prowling Projectile, You and me!, Zoomies and Final Chapter.
This fascinates Lisa, and she watches as the game continues. Yuumi sticks to Caitlyn to keep her safe, and alright, while Caitlyn fends off both Rakhan and Xayah. Gangplank and Nautilus are both trying to keep Darius and Master Yi away from them, mostly to avoid Darius and his passive which will make them bleed.
They all watch and to their surprise, First Blood has been made, Ronnie Anne's champion Rek'Sai thought she could ambush Lincoln's Fiddlesticks, but she attacked a scarecrow, and thus he ambushed her, and then forced her to retreat, only to be slowed by Terrify and then finished off with a basic attack.
The crowd cheers, Lincoln got the first kill, and he seems focused and locked onto what's going on.

The fight is still going, and the battle becomes intense and there is now an insane epic team fight right in front of he Baron Pit! The Giant Void Hydra named Baron Nashor was supposed to be killed by a team effort from red team since they have managed to clear out half of the jungle monsters in their area, but a scarecrow saw their plan from the brush and now Blue Team is here and delivering the smack down on them!
Yuumi travels and swaps to different champions, providing heals to each team mate, and then Gangplank drops down two barrels and blows them up slowing enemies, they avoid the ultimate of Nautilus and his third ability. Rek'Sai screams which is heard by everyone and she shows up from one of her tunnels and she unburrows beneath Master Yi stunning him, but he casts his Highlander ultimate on all five foes.
Rakhan and Xayah try to move in, and provide some help to damage the enemy team, but they don't know that someone is closing in, to finish this team fight. Then, a scarecrow is placed right in the center, and Fiddlesticks teleports inside, and unleashes bountiful harvest, slowing and draining the enemy, and then unleashes Crow Storm. This is what the Blue Team needed and the enemy is slowed!
So, Gangplank calls in an empowered Death's Daughter Cannon Barrage at the location, Yuumi sticks to Darius for Final Chapter on the enemy team, and Darius uses Noxian Guillotine and executes Nautilus, and the rest of the enemy team is slain, Caitlyn takes the shot and executes the Hydra, and the Red team is wiped out, and they claim the Hydra kill and the Blue Team levels up and is empowered.
(Killing the Void Hydra Baron Nashor Empowers all team mates, and lane minions.)
Everyone cheers, and they watch as Blue Team charges into the enemy's base with their minions and they unleash everything they got to finish this fight and claim a win. Judging by how this is going, this is defiantly a sure-fire win for the Blue Team.
The crowd cheers, and this impresses Lynn Jr. She was able to understand the play, and what Lincoln did. "Holy Moly! Did he… Did Lincoln just?"
"He did, and he went right in and finished the fight!" replied Michelle.
Annabelle cheers. "Now that is what I call, the play of the game!"
"Dang, he knew what to do" replied Luna. "He picked the right champion for the game."
Lucy grins. "I am so loving that scarecrow. I wonder what other haunting and dark champions are in the game."
