In the dorms,

Kai was laying in his bed still thinking about what Devimon said.

Flashback to Devimon's castle.

"You fools think you've won, but you don't know the real enemy that's coming, especially you," Devimon said."

"What do you mean?" Kai asked."

"You'll find out soon enough, it's a shame that that I won't be around to see it," Devimon replied laughing."

Flashback ends.

'What did he mean by that?' Kai thought.'

"Still bothered by Devimon's words?" Strabimon asked."

"Yeah, I'm not sure if he's tricking me or he's telling the truth," Kai replied looking at his digivice." Almost like there's a big secret."

Koh comes in.

"Kai hurry up, it's time for our rank graduation!" he said."

"Oh right," Kai said as he gets up."

"Shade already passed his," Koh said."

"Seriously?" Kai asked."

"Yeah," Koh replied." And Luche is ready to do her rank graduation."

"Crud!" Kai said."

They head to the stadium and meets up with the others.

"Are we late?" Kai asked."

"Nope, just in time," Sayo said." I already passed mine same with Koh and the others, all that left is you, Luche, and Crystal."

"I'm sure she'll do ok," kai said."

In the stadium,

A teacher ready's Luche.

"Ok, you can only use three Digimon, now let's do this," the teacher said."

He uses his digivice making Kabuterimon, Kuwagamon, and Flymon appear.

"Ok, Digimon realize!" Luche said."

Luxmon, Petimama Pal and Pul appeared.

Back at the stands,

"So, we can only use three Digimon? I guess that's fair," Kai said." The hard part is picking which one to use."

"Yeah, if you have so many Digimon," Crystal said." But it gives us time to pick.

Back at the stadium,

"Time to digivolve!" Luche said."

Her digivice shines.

"Luxmon, digivolve too...Piddomon!" Piddomon said."

"Petimamon Pal, digivolve too...Witchmon!" Witchmon said."

Petitmamon Pul, digivolve too...Wizardmon!" Wizardmon said."

"Alright, show me what you can do!" the teacher said."

"Electro shocker!" Kabuterimon said."

It fires an electric ball. but they dodge.

"You missed," Piddomon said."

"Shadow slash!" Kuwagamon said."

It strikes Piddomon but Piddomon blocks it with his staff.

"Fire feather!" Piddomon said."

He fires his feathers in flames and takes down Kuwagamon.

Back in the stands,

"She's really improved," Kai said."

"Yeah, she has," Crystal said." (thinking) 'It's almost like she knows what she's doing.'

Back at the stadium,

"Brown Stingers!" Flymon said."

It fires its stingers at Witchmon but dodges with her broom.

"Nice try, Aquary pressure!" she said."

She attacks with a water type attack strong enough to take down Flymon.

"Shocking touch!" Kabuterimon said."

It charges at Wizardmon.

"Vision of terror!" Wizardmon said."

He uses his move to scare Kabuterimon.

"Now it's over! Blink breeze!" Wizardmon said."

He unleashes a powerful wind attack and defeats Kabuterimon giving Luche her victory.

"Yes!" Luche cheered as her team change back to rookie."

"Well done. for you victory, you are now a bronze tamer," the teacher said."

Luche's digivice color changes to bronze.

Back in the stands,

Everyone cheers.

"Alright, now's my turn," Kai said."

"Good luck, oh and if you lose, you'll have to repeat the year," Newton said."

"Thanks for the heads up," Kai said as he heads to the stadium."

Luche joins the others.

"I know big brother will win," she said."

At the stadium,

Kai faces a female teacher.

(Pulls out his digivice) "Digimon realize!" he said."

Kai sends out, Herissmon, Strabimon, and Bemmon.

"Digimon realize!" the female teacher said."

She sends out Veedramon, Exveemon, and Growlmon.

Back at the stands,

"This is going to be fun," Koh said."

"I agree," Dorathy said."

Back at the stands,

"Digivolve!" Kai said."

"Herissmon, Digivolve too...Filmon!" Filmon said."

"Strabimon, digivolve too...Lobomon!" Lobomon said."

"Bemmon, digivolve too...Snatchmon!" Snatchmon said."

Back at the stands,

'Good luck Kai,' Crystal thought.'

She secretly prays.

Back at the stadium,

"V-nova blast!" Veedramon said."

It fires a V shape blast.

"Howling laser!" Lobomon said."

He fires a blast from his wrist cancelling the attack

"Lobo kendo!" Lobomon said."

He uses his sabers to slice Veedramon and took it down.

"Dragon Slash!" Growlmon said."

It strikes at Lobomon but he blocks it just intime, he struggles though.

"Lightning Stinger!" Filmon said."

Filmon uses his move and takes down Growlmon and saved Lobomon.

"Thanks," he said."

"No problem," Filmon said."

The two fist bump.

Back at the stands,

"That's what I call teamwork," Koh said."

Back at the stadium,

"V-laser!" Exveemon said."

It shoots an X shape laser at the two hurting them.

"Sharp claws!" Exveemon said."

It charges at them until Snatchmon blocked it and pushed it back making it fly in the air. Snatchmon appears behind Exveemon scaring him.

"Tooth spear!" Snatchmon said."

He uses his tail to slash Exveemon's back making it fall to the ground. Snatchmon lands and looks at Exveemon tempting to absorb it data but refuses. The three change back to their rookie forms as Kai cheers.

"Well done. for your victory, you are now a bronze tamer," the female teacher said."

Kai's digivice color changes to bronze. Luche comes and hugs him from behind.

"I'm so proud of you big brother," she said."

"We all are," Julia said as she and Glare come forth."

"You all have done well as first years, and we look forward to see you next semester," Glare said."

The two leave after handing all the first years their diplomas.

"Hey, I just realized something, where is Luche going to live?" Crystal asked."

"That's ok, Daddy told me that once I meet my big brother, I would live with him and Mommy," Luche replied confusing everyone."

"Wait, you know my dad?" Kai asked."

"Yup," Luche replied."

She takes out a picture showing herself and a scientist revealing to be Kai's dad. Kai looked shocked."

"That is my dad! I haven't seen him since he gave me my V-pet when I was 10!" Kai said." How you know him and where is he?!"

"I'll tell you when we're home," Luche replied." So, let's go!"

She grabs Kai's hand, and they head to the bus.

"Hey wait up!" Crystal said chasing after them."

Season 1 ends but an aftermath showing Kai's origin with his V-pet begins.

This is surprising, Luche knows Kai's dad, this is going to be one crazy semester next year.
