Hello, dear readers. I'm sorry to disappoint you all since this is not a chapter of NMJ but merely an announcement and will be replaced by the first chapter when I publish it. First of all, I would like to thank everyone who sent in their OCs of hard work and love and congratulations to those who made it. I got to read many Quirks - some simple but well-written, others creative and complex - which broadened my appreciation for the potential of the MHA franchise created by Horikoshi. I was honestly not expecting OCs of such caliber, partly because I believed the SYOC fandom was mostly "dead."

Now, for the main reason behind this announcement is because we're 1/3rd of the way through our accepted roster, I've been receiving many well-written characters who unfortunately share similarities to characters I've already accepted. So to inform the readers ahead of time, I will be publishing and updating a "TRAITS NOT ACCEPTABLE" list on my profile to lessen rejections and changes for future OCs. I suggest everyone who plans to send an OC to periodically check my profile. Please do try to avoid using those traits and tropes while writing your character so that we can have a more individualistic and varied cast. I have seen that FF has a lot of bugs and problems so if the list is ever not visible, please PM me and I'll send it to you.

Now for my final announcement, once I reach an accepted cast of 13/20, I will pause accepting characters until the very last moment of the deadline. Then I will go through all the short-listed characters and depending on the quality, I will decide the remaining 7 or 11 spots.
