Salem couldn't believe it. After all these years of this invisible war of cat and mouse, where Ozma is on the constant back foot, hiding away in his tower at Beacon. And he pulled the rug from under her by dropping hundreds of Tiny Desk Rubies, which she found out the hard way she's allergic to, on her castle.
She had sent Cinder, and her lackeys to survey the damage her ex has caused and is waiting for their report.
In a flash of golden light, Cinder, Mercury, and Emerald had returned from their reconnaissance.
"How bad did my ex vandalize the castle?" She asks her minions.
Emerald was trying to find the nicest way to describe it, till Mercury bluntly said, "It's fucked… it's just fucked."
Flashback to the trio point of view, as the three were surveying the castle from atop a cliff. Rave light can be seen flashing through the castle window, as muffled bass boosted music can be heard all the way from where they're at.
Inside the castle, the Tiny Desk Rubies are partying to their hearts' content. Listening to 'Down Under (More Gun) by SharaX' as they danced in a circle around an unfortunate Beowolf who was roaring in pain from all the cuteness as it chained to the floor.
The Tiny Rubies got into the food storage and began devouring everything they found, as some were swinging on the chandelier till the chain supporting it snapped as the whole thing fell onto the Beowolf, ending its suffering. The Tiny Rubies entered into Salem's bedroom as some were jumping on her bed ruffling the sheets, as others went through her wardrobe and drawers, playing in her clothes. Two Tiny Desk Rubies are playing patty cake as they use Salem's bra on their hat, a cup for each head.
"So is there any way to fix this?" Emerald asks Cinder.
Cinder thinks for a moment, till an idea pops into her head. Later on inside the castle, a red portal opened up and Raven stepped out of it holding a plate of chocolate chip cookies.
"I'm here with the cookies like you ask." Raven called out. Earlier Cinder had called her over the scroll that Salem demanded some cookies from her, and that she needs her to bring them to the castle as soon as possible. She wasn't sure why the Queen of the Grimm wants chocolate chip cookies of all things, but she isn't going to question it. "Just tell me where to put it, so I will be… on … my… way…"
The moment her rift closed, she realized that she was surrounded by hundreds of her daughter's "sisters". All of them stopped dancing and stared at her with their big ol' silver eyes. Raven doesn't know why they're so tiny and cute, or why they're even in the castle. But she knows that she needs to get out of there. That is till the Tiny Desk Rubies noticed the plate of cookies in her hands.
"COOKIES!" the Tiny Rubies exclaimed, sounding like a furry blue monster as they swarmed the bandit chief like a colony of ants.
Raven screamed, dropping the plate as she tried to shake them off. Every one Ruby she throws off, five more take her place. Cinder watches the whole thing unfold from a safe distance with her binoculars, subtly smiling.
"So how does this help with the current predicament, exactly?" Mercury asks, as Raven screams can still be heard.
"Just thought I'd be funny." Cinder answered bluntly, "I've been burned by those things, so I wanted her to suffer as well."
Back to the present, Salem pinched the bridge of her nose before staring daggers at her ex. He just casually waves back, knowing she could do nothing because of the glass.
"What's the next film?" She asks the Doctor. "I need something to distract myself for the time being."
"Ooh, Just a classic runaway train film." He said as he set up the reel.
"I love those types of films!" said Nora with excitement.
"It's not as fun as you think." Ruby said earnestly, as she and her team had literally dealt with one at Mt. Glenn.
"I still remember getting my ass handed to me by that pipsqueak." Yang points to Neo who is watching her Tiny Ruby running on all fours in her hamster wheel. "At least we have the same taste in cuteness." She looks at her Tiny Ruby who is rolling around the floor in a hamster ball.
"You know the academy doesn't allow pets." Glynda said, not approving Yang's purchase.
"Is quite alright." Ozpin chimes in, "besides, her purchase has given me an idea."
Glynda doesn't like the sound of that. But before she could ask what she meant, the film starts.
The film begins at the top of a mountain where snow falls heavily on a facility, a sign can be read 'Days since last shipment' with the numbers seventy three hanging underneath it. The number zero flew away as it cut to Emerald with most of her body buried underneath the snow, completely frozen.
"That's disturbing." Emerald feels uncomfortable seeing herself as a human popsicle.
"Why are you even out in the cold?" Mercury asks. As much as he dislikes his partner, she doesn't deserve to be out in the cold.
"Maybe she just wants to chill." Yang proudly proclaims, causing everyone to groan.
Weiss, not having it, uses one of her glyphs to freeze Yang's legs in ice.
"Aww. That's not cool." Yang said smiling, despite her feet being frozen.
Weiss then brought the ice to her shoulders.
"Y-You don't have to g-give me the c-cold shoulder." her teeth chatter.
"Are you literally willing to allow yourself to be frozen, all for the sake of more ice puns!" Weiss complains to her partner.
"Yes." she answered with smugness on her face.
The heiress just left her there, not wanting to further engage.
Cinder walks up from behind and places down a mug of coffee labeled '#2 Sniper' next to her. The Sniper eyes move indicating that she is still alive, looks at the mug and smiles a bit as Cinder walks over to Watts, who is holding a pair of binoculars in his hands. She snatched the pair out of Engie's hands to take a gander at the bottom of the mountain.
Through the Team Castle Soldier's point of view, she sees Penny in a green one piece swimsuit wearing some swimming goggles and a snorkel. Sitting in an inflatable swimming pool playing with some rubber duckies.
The girls cooed about how cute Penny looks, playing with the duckies. Neptune however was confused by something.
"Wait. Aren't you afraid that you'll get short circuited or something since you're a robot?" he asked Penny.
"Not at all." The android answered earnestly. "My father designed my synthetic skin with that in mind, so I can submerge myself in the deepest parts of the ocean without being water logged." [1]
"Oh…" The hydrophobic looked down and said to himself. "I guess even androids are braver than me when it comes to water."
Turning more to the left, she sees Weiss and Yang are doing target practice by taking turns shooting bottles off of Nora's body who's in a deep sleep. As Yang aims her shotgun, she accidentally blows Nora's head off, leaving nothing but her neck stump. The two watch in horror as the Demo's lifeless body flops onto the ground. [2]
Nora gasped witnessing her own death by one of her friends. "Yang how could you!"
"It was an accident! I'm sorry!" Yang tries to defend herself.
"Just because there is a machine that brings you back upon death. Doesn't mean you should put yourself and others in harm's way." Glynda scolded her.
Cinder gave the binoculars back to Watts, bumping his shoulder as they walked into the facility. They approached a table full of failed plans to destroy Team Fortress' base, with plans as crazy as directing lightning with a kite, giving them the ant treatment with a giant magnifying glass, and their recent failure, delivering a bomb via dozens of carrier pigeons.
"Seems like your nefarious plans aren't going so well." Dr. Watts jokes, knowing how much Cinder loves making "Nefarious" plans.
After taking a look at her previous plans, Cinder states, "This time it will be different. Whatever my counterpart cooks up will be foolproof."
The Soldier lays down her latest plan on the table, pulling out a riding crop. She simply explains the plan where they load up a train with explosives, run it down the mountain, and blow up the enemy base at the end of the line, killing everyone in it.
"Isn't this the same plan up in Mt. Glenn." Roman pointed out. "You know. The one that was foiled by those kids over there." referring to Team RWBY, JNPR, and CFVY.
"This one's different!" Cinder retorts, "That one failed because all it did was let some Grimm into Vale, only to be killed by the students who just happened to be there. This one basically if the train aims for Beacon itself."
Both Ozpin, Ironwood, and the rest of the staff couldn't help but agree with her sound statement. Had the train hit Beacon, it would have wiped out an entire generation of future hunters since a majority of the students of Beacon, Shade, Haven, and Atlas were at the Academy at the time to partake in the festival. The only reason it didn't happen is that the tracks don't lead there, so they make do with attacking Vale.
The camera pans up, showing Cinder's plan being set in motion as Team Castle loads the train with all sorts of Dust and other hazardous materials. Cinder inspects one of the shipping containers that has been loaded onto a flatbed, she opens it and smiles at a silhouette of something inside. Upon closing it, she hops off the flatbed and admires Hazel's work as he painted a message on the side of the container she inspected. After giving him a pat on the shoulder, Cinder walks to check on the next flatbed only to see that Neo has painted unicorns, rainbows, and other cute things on the container.
The audience burst into laughter as Cinder's jaw dropped much like her counterpart.
"Got to say Cinder, that really spells out terror to the Team Fortress kids." Roman said with cheeky sarcasm, much to Cinder's disapproval. "In all seriousness, I love the artwork though, Neo. it's as adorable as you are."
Neo blushed heavily as Torchwick pats her head.
Cinder stares in bewilderment as Neo cheers in happiness while sounds of chimes and unicorn neighs can be heard in the background. After the Soldier regains herself, she pushes a lever up that activates the overhead crane as it lifts Neo's shipping container off the flatbed.
"You're no fun." Torchwick speaks for Neo, as his partner is saddened by Cinder's counterpart actions. But Cinder just ignored him.
As Cinder walks away, Neo waits until she's out of sight before fiddling with the controls, bringing the container back on the flatbed.
Neo just smirks as the False Fall Maiden went, "Fine, keep your bloody container. Whatever is in the first one is good enough for me."
Neo skips over to Hazel who is finished with his work, his message reads "HEY FORTRESS! GO DIE, yours truly, HAZEL". There are other smaller messages such as "Eat my boolets" and "I don't love you" next to the main one. There are even some doodles such as a noose, a dagger, and a skull & crossbones around the words "Kill Fortress!". Neo offers up a high five, only for Hazel to leave her hanging as he picks up his paint bucket and supplies.
Outside Cinder finger whistles to Adam to begin her plan. The Demoman enters the engine's cab inside the cab where he approaches the control stand where an Ironwood bobble head can be seen atop it. With a turn of a key he starts the engine, disengaging the independent and dynamic brakes, and pulls the power throttle to max. He even pours out the sand to prevent slipping as the engine jolts forward, hauling the train behind it. [3]
As the train starts to pick up speed, the Bull Faunus lights a bundle of dynamite's fuse with his cigarette and sticks the explosives against the wall as he exits the cab. He ran across the railing before hopping off the engine as the cab exploded, destroying the control and preventing anyone from accessing the cab.
"Destroying the controls so no one can fiddle with it." Roman complimented the effort, wishing he thought of it sooner. "Clever, real cleaver."
The audience at Beacon's side felt a sense of dread as they worried for Team Fortress' safety.
Adam finger whistles back, letting Cinder know that the job is done as she smiles maliciously as the train leaves the facility.
Somewhere down the line, there is a checkpoint where Ren is surveying the area with his sniper rifle before heading inside to get some warmth. Once inside, sounds of bouncing can be heard as Jaune is bouncing his baseball off the wall to drown out the monotony.
"I feel cold just watching it." Velvet commented on the scene while shivering.
"Oh I remember those days." Prof. Port boasts. "Where I would spend hours out in the cold on sentry duty as the innocent workers were tasked with fixing some important equipment deep in Grimm territory, and I alone have to protect them from the hostel wildlife."
"You were also chattering like a skeleton as you huddled by the campfire." Oobleck tells his side of the story, deflating Ports ego.
Some of the students giggled as the stout gentleman glared at the coffee addict.
"I'm guessing Jaune and I are tasked with guarding some sort of checkport?" Ren estatement.
"You're on the nose." Dr. Stirling conferring his theory. "Every couple of days, two of the nine mercenaries will be stationed at the checkpoint to make sure every locomotive passing through is safe to approach their base. This time is Ren and Jaune's turn."
"Seems like I'm bored out of my mind." Jaune commented to himself.
Jaune stopped to look over at Ren coming in before returning to his self entertainment. The Sniper walks up to a table where he keeps his records of the going on during his shift, and lays his rifle right next to it. Just before he could update his journal, his #1 sniper mug began to vibrate as well as the rest of the building. Ren, feeling something wrong ran outside with Jaune following suit.
"And it sounds like excitement is heading your way." Mercury said, poking fun at Jaune as he overheard him.
Once outside, the two looked over at the nearby tunnel up the branch line. After a couple seconds of staring, the runaway comes roaring out the tunnel and passes the two mercs at top speed. They looked at each other as they both realized where the train's heading.
The students felt tense watching the runaway zoom pass with blazing speed. Especially Team RWBY, after their mission at Mt. Glenn. Even with the knowledge that JNPR and CFVY have dealt with The Grimm, and Glynda fixing the hole. They still felt like failures for letting the train reach its destination, and hoped their mercenary counterparts would stop it in time.
Meanwhile at Team Fortress' base, Weiss and Yang are playing a game of chess with Weiss making the first move with a white pawn to king 4. The Heavy Weapons Gal taps her chin, thinking of her next move as the Medic gesture to her as to say "It's your move".
After a couple more seconds of thinking, Yang made her move by taking her king and took Weiss' pawn she just moved. She let out a laugh, thinking she made a smart move as Weiss just glared at her as her right eye slightly twitching.
Weiss and several others who know how to play chess, cringe at Yang's play.
"What? Isn't the king the most important piece on the board?" Yang asks as she tries to thaw herself, oblivious to just how bad she is in the game.
"Yes! But… that is not how… you can't just…" Weiss felt like she's going to get a brain aneurysm… again! The first time being when they played chess for the first time and Yang did the exact same move as her counterpart. There's people who are bad at chess, and then there's her. [4]
The scene cuts to Pyrrha, who was staring over at the horizon, till the sounds of Blake decloaking drew her attention. The Spy hands her over a TOP SECRET manilla folder, which she takes off from Blake's grasp. With her mission complete, Blake joins in with the others as Pyrrha opens the folder to read the documents inside.
"Looks like the rest of the group is about to find out." Sun commented.
As she reads the documents, she realizes something as she lines up one of the pictures inside the folder with the base. The picture in question is an edited photo of the far end of Team Fortress' base where there is an arrow pointing at a drawn target labeled "End of the Line" written in red sharpie. She looks back and forth between the photo and the place the photo took. Pyrrha then looks closer at the so-called 'End of the Line', and notices the tracks leading to a depot known as 'Red & Wytes', EXPLOSIVE BARREL CO', where the barrels are stacked to look like a target.
"Oh, that's not good." Qrow states.
"Why are there barrels full of Dust stored up at the end of the line?" Ironwood asks as he then points out. "That's just an accident waiting to happen. Whether it's a runaway, or someone carelessly backing into it."
"Hopefully there's nothing next to the supply if it does go off." Winter wished she wasn't wrong.
Pyrrha looks to her left and is shocked to see a Kitten Store next to the depot, as kittens can be heard mewing inside.
Most of the audience gasped as they realized that cute kittens were in harm's way.
"Noo! Not the kittens!" half the female students exclaimed.
Looking to her right, Pyrrha is horrified as she notices an Orphanage also next to the depot. A kid can be heard coughing inside.
"Not the orphans!" The other half cried out in distress.
The Soldier is in complete distraught as next to the orphanage is a Kitten Orphanage.
"Not the Kitten Orphans!" All the students exclaim in sync.
"Who would orphan a kitten?" Ozpin asks, in confusion.
"I get it now." Cinder said, understanding her counterpart's plan. "The train would collide with the depot, detonating the Dust barrels and blowing up the Kittens and Orphans. With the kitten orphans dead, Team Fortress would be filled with grief and will attract the nearby Grimm. With nothing else to live for, they will forfeit and we win the war. All according to my nefarious plan!"
"Not if I have anything to do about it!" Pyrrha said, in sync with her counterpart's thoughts.
Pyrrha slowly turns towards the camera before regaining her senses, and runs to a nearby porch where they keep the emergency flare gun. She grabs it off the wall, does a quick check if there's a flare inside, and fires it into the air, signaling the other mercs of the impending danger.
Back up the mountain, where the runaway is leaving a trail of smoke from the burning cab. Ren and Jaune are chasing after it via camper van, with Ren at the wheel. The Sniper clutched the next gear, picking up speed as they're slowly catching up to the runaway.
"Hurry! Ren and Fearless leader hurry!" Said Nora with panic in her voice. "You need to save the Orphan Kittens!"
Ren comforts his partner. "I don't think I can go any faster." he said with honesty. "Camper vans aren't exactly built for speed."
"Then we might as well do something reckless." Jaune states, thinking what his counterpart's thinking.
Jaune gets up and starts crawling through the window. He uses the side-view mirror as leverage for his foot, only the mirror snaps off causing Jaune to hang on as Ren glares at him.
"Sorry." Jaune apologies sheepishly for damaging his friend's van.
As the Scout regained his footing, he noticed a sign warning about a rock slide area up ahead. When they passed it, the heavy rumbling of the runaway caused some loose rocks to fall from above. Ren swerves to avoid the falling boulders as Jaune hangs on, he ends up flung to the roof and grabs onto the van's fixed ladder on the back as his hat falls to the tree line at the cliff below.
The students felt tense knowing their friend could've had a long trip down.
"Jaune! Be Careful!" Pyrrha cried out for her partner/crush's safety.
Reckless as he is, Glynda commend his bravery.
Jaune regains his footing once more and climbs onto the roof using the ladder. As the Scout held on, Ren noticed a small incline up ahead.
"Hang on!" Ren warns his partner.
After maneuvering into position, the van went airborne for a couple of seconds before making contact with the snow. Jaune lands on his feet and holds on as the van catches up with the runaway. The wheels of the train are rumbling and the engine is roaring as they finally caught up to it. Jaune waited for the right moment, counting the seconds in between each pole it zoomed past. With nothing else to lose, he jumps onto the car at the very end of the train, narrowly avoiding a railway signal that could have taken his head.
"That was close." Jaune said as he held his head.
"Got to say. For a human, you have a lot of guts." Adam complimented him.
"But would it be enough to stop my plan?" Cinder quip.
The Scout notices an overhead signal up ahead and jumps down in between the cars just in time. In doing so, he accidentally disconnected the boxcars as the last one slowly fell behind.
"Aw man. I hope that doesn't bite me in the ass." Jaune said to himself.
Jaune climbs back up as the disconnected boxcar can be seen unable to catch up. Up ahead, the runaway approaches a bridge that goes over a ravine. Ren realized this and pushed both feet on the brakes as his van lost its front right wheel, Jaune ducked under the bridge's truss as the runaway entered a tunnel that's on the other side.
"REN! NO!" Nora exclaims, once she realizes he's not gonna stop in time.
The Sniper, attempting to regain control, plows through a barn before coming to a sudden stop on the other side, dangling over the ravine.
The students felt relieved that Ren managed to stop in time, only for their stress to come right back after what came next.
After a couple of seconds of calming himself down, Ren made the mistake of leaning forward, causing the van to lose balance as it tilted forward. He managed to regain balance coming over the edge.
The Inner Circle felt tense as well, not because of Ren's safety, but because the scene caused anxiety.
Soon Archimedes appears, landing on the van's hood as the disconnected boxcar coasts by. The dove's coo deepens, giving the Sniper a menacing glare as he gulps looking at the camera.
"N-Nice birdy…" Ren said nervously.
"I guess you have no choice but to hang in there." Everyone groans from Yang's pun as she's halfway through thawing herself. Her Tiny Desk Ruby, now outside her hamster ball, attempts to help by licking the ice like a popsicle, only to have her tongue stuck.
As Weiss is freeing Tiny Ruby with some warm water, she looks up at Yang going, "...Really."
"Let me cope!"
Meanwhile at the Team Fortress Base, the mercenaries are having an emergency meeting as Blake and Weiss are discussing how to deal with this oncoming threat. The Medic suggests something as she slams her fist on the table, only for the Spy to shake her head as if to say "That won't work".
"Seems like we can't come up with a solution." Blake commented. "We can't divert it since there's no other lines for it to go, and even with the knowledge that Jaune is on the train, I don't think he can do much with the controls melted."
"Then we have no choice but to evacuate." Weiss concluded. "But do we have enough time to bring the kittens and orphans to safety?"
"We can only hope."
Yang tries to comfort Weiss by placing her hand on the Medic's shoulder, only for her to knock it away as she gives the to evacuate the base. The Heavy Weapons Gal is saddened as she exits the room and looks up at the mountain range where the runaway is approaching from.
"You better come up with something to vomit boy." Yang hopes for the best for Jaune.
Back to Jaune, the runaway has exited the tunnel, allowing the Scout to get back up as the camera pans out showing that the train is now at the base of the mountain.
The audience figures out that the train is almost at the base, meaning that Jaune has to stop it now before it reaches its destination.
Jaune ran atop the train, hopping from car to car as a trail of smoke can be seen emitting from the cab. He drops down to one of the flatbeds that holds the shipping container that Neo painted. Scout opens it to find that it is filled with rubber duckies, each custom designed to look like one of the nine mercs of Team Fortress. The duckie that looks like Jaune squeaks before human Jaune closes the doors.
Some of the students and Inner Circle members laughed as others cooed at how cute they looked. Cinder however was not as amused.
"Really Neo." She said with disapproval. "Out of everything that you could have loaded, you filled it with... ducks."
Neo just shrugs with a smug as her Tiny Desk Ruby drinks milk from the water feeder.
"Where did you even get all those BONUS DUCKS!" Salem covered her mouth as everyone stared at her, wondering why she said it so loud all of a sudden.
He then hops over to the next flatbed where Hazel does his work. Upon opening, Jaune found a bomb inside the container. He realizes it is the runaway's primer as he gasps and runs up to the bomb to see if he can disarm it. As he lifts the panel, this is a door inside the bomb which he soon finds out he needs a key to access it.
"HA! Nice try!" Cinder boasts. "Did you really think that you can disarm the primer that easily? I wager that the key is at the top of the mountain by my side. Unless you can pick the lock, there's no way you can take the key from me and make it back in time."
Frustrated, the Scout noticed a doormat under his feet that read 'GO AWAY', as there's something sticking out from underneath the mat. Out of curiosity, he lifts it and finds the key right there.
Both Dr Watt and Torchwick laughed their ass's off as Cinder just sat there disgruntled.
"So…" Roman attempts to breathe, his sides hurt from all the laughter. "H-how much did…" he snorts, "D-did you wager."
Cinder said nothing as she recreates that laughing wolves meme, where two wolves are laughing with one more just staring at the two with an annoyed look on their face.
He takes the key and inserts it to the hole, with a simple twist, the door inside the bomb opens, then another one, and another one, the music becomes more interesting as another one opens, then the music stops as Jaune just sat there bored waiting for all the doors to open.
"How many doors are there!" Nora exclaimed as her patience wore thin.
"Enough." The False Fall Maiden simply answers, forgetting her fumble as some of the Inner Circle laughs.
A loud buzzer notified Jaune that the final door opened revealing two buttons, a Red Yes and a Green yes, with the caption, 'DISARM BOMB?'.
"Really!" Jaune cried out in frustration as he's not a big fan of mind games.
"Choose wisely." Cinder jokes, wishing she thought of that sooner.
"Which one do we press?"
"Press the Red one!"
"No! The Green!"
"Maybe both?"
While this is happening, Penny is short circuiting as she's trying to figure out which one is the right button.
After a moment's hesitation, the Scout presses the Green Yes and the doors shut all at once as a green light glows, indicating that the bomb is now disarmed.
The Students celebrate over Jaune success as Cinder pouts that part of her plan has been foiled. Secretly she commemorates the Fearless Leader for his dedication.
"Alright! The primer has been deactivated!" Velvet cheered. "Now all he needs to do now is to stop the train and save the orphan kittens."
"How is he going to do that?" Ruby asks, since the controls are destroyed.
Blake has a few ideas, "He can sabotage the engine by cutting the Dust line." She suggested, using her knowledge when she was part of White Fang, "There's a red button on the side of the engine where the Dust tank is that cuts off engine Dust intake and forces it to shutdown, but they might have uninstalled it for that very reason." [5]
"Better than nothing." Pyrrha agreed with her idea. "If he leaves now, he might reach the engine on time."
Jaune, now relaxed, gets back up and makes his way out the door. Before he could make his leave, curiosity got the better of him as she flicked a nearby light switch. The whole container lights up revealing a dozen more similar bombs piled up at the other side.
Everyone's jaws drop upon witnessing all the bombs Scout has to go through.
"That's not fair." Said Nora with defeat in her voice.
"Welp, you tried." Cinder smirks, "Look at the bright side. At least you get a front row seat when my plan reaches its destination."
The students glare at the False Fall Maiden as the film continues.
His eyes widened in surprise that the Train is still armed, he closes the doors and climbs atop the train where he can see the base in the distance. He starts running to the front of the runaway to see if he can still stop it as sadden music plays.
At the Base, everyone is evacuating as Ruby packs up all her things, Pyrrha runs by to check if the orphans are out of harm's way, Nora drinks her bottle of syrup before leaving with a briefcase full of maple syrup, and Penny is fleeing with as many cats she can carry, all meowing in her arms.
Yang walks over to check out on Weiss to see Blake comforting her before leaving. The Spy looks over at her on the way out before running to safety. Yang sees the Medic all distraught as she drops her pencil she was fidgeting.
Yang felt bad for Weiss as she never saw her this depressed before. And she isn't the only one as the rest of the students felt sympathy for the Schnee.
"I got to do something." She said to herself.
Yang looks over at the rails and clench her fist as she jumps off the patio, making her way as triumphant music begins to build up.
"Wait. Where is she going?" Cinder asks, unable to figure out what the Blonde Brawler is planning.
Yang didn't answer as she knows exactly what her counterpart is thinking.
Weiss starts to notice as she gets up with a worried expression on her face.
"You better not be thinking what I think you're doing." Weiss said, believing her partner is gonna do something stupid.
Yang approaches the rails and gets into a stance like she waits for something.
Everyone gasps once it hits them that Heavy Weapons Gal is planning to stop the runaway with pure straight alone.
"Sis! NO!"
"You're insane!"
"Don't be a hero!"
"SAVE THE KITTENS!"
The Medic realizes what Yang's planning as she sees the runaway fast approaching over the hill. She looks over at her Medigun before grabbing it as she runs over to Yang.
"I'll admit that your Ubercharge is quite powerful." Cinder compliments before stating, "But it won't be enough to stop my Forty-five hundred horsepower plan!"
Weiss, only having time to put half her coat on, puts down the Medigun's pack as she activates the charge. At the last possible second, the now Ubercharged Yang stops the locomotive with all her might, causing the front to concave and buckle as the rail ripped asunder from the ground.
Both Beacon and the Inner Circle couldn't believe their eyes as they witnessed a girl in their late teens stop an entire runaway going top speed, with a load of over one million and six hundred thousand pounds, [6] with nothing but her bare hands. Even Yang couldn't believe she's that strong.
Weiss held on, trying to keep the beam on Yang as the entire train derailed. The engine flips on top of the Heavy as the rest of the train starts piling up on eachother. Weiss just stares in astonishment as she loses her coat to the winds of the passing train wreck.
"Yang you crazy daughter of a bastard." Weiss said, having a newfound appreciation for the blonde brute.
Jaune hops off the now derailing runaway, runs towards Weiss, dodging smashed boxcars and exploding tank cars. He saves the Medic's life by knocking her to the ground as a boxcar flies right over them. They get back up as another boxcar plows through the top of the base, leaving it without a roof.
"WHOA!" Some of the Students and Inner Circle exclaimed ducking their heads, thinking that the boxcar was going to hit them.
"No! No! No! No! No!" Cinder cried out as she watched everything fall apart.
The flatbed that holds the container full of bombs, crashed into the pile and launched the container into the air as it flung toward the barreled Dust storage.
"YES!" Cinder's mood changes, believing her plan could be salvaged.
A boxcar rams into Neo's container full of rubber duckies, launching it straight into the bomb container. There was a loud explosion as well as a squeak once the two containers made contact, rubber duckies flew everywhere as Jaune ducks his head and an old woman can be heard in the background screaming, "BONUS DUCKS!"
"NOO!" Cinder buried her face into her lap as Emerald comforted her.
"Never would I've thought the day would be saved by a teenager and some rubber ducks." Ironwood said with honesty.
"Me ether." Ozpin agrees. "But this is the universe where the Grimm are allergic to a tiny version of one of my students, so anything is possible."
Pieces of the container embedded themself onto the ground as scorched Team Fortress duckies began raining from the sky. Weiss opens her hand to reveal that she's holding a white queen. Jaune walks over to her as she stares at the chess piece with a sadden look in her eyes.
As the duck continues raining, making squeaking noises as they hit the ground, Nora pops out of the rubble unscathed. She took a sip of maple syrup, only to find her bottle had broken during the chaos. After sniffing it, she throws what remains of the bottle on the ground, shattering it upon impact. Nora, Ruby, and the rest of the remaining group all gather with Jaune and Weiss to observe the wreckage.
"Yang just sacrificed herself, just for us." Weiss states, with sadness in her voice. As the rest of the audience gave a moment of silence, even the Inner Circle paid their respects.
"Wait… I feel like I'm forgetting something." Jaune broke the silence.
The Scout hears something as he and the rest of the group turn to see the boxcar that he accidentally disconnected, coming rolling down the hill at incredible speeds.
The audience at Beacon's side gasp as they realize it isn't over.
"Aw, Crap! Here we go!" Jaune exclaims, as his past actions come to haunt him.
"I forgot all about it!"
"How is it going so fast!"
"Someone stop it!"
The Contents inside the boxcar is revealed to be full of anvils as it uses gravity to pick up speed. It collides with the pile as it flips upside down over the wreckage and slides down the rail, making its way towards the depot. A really fluffy cat known as Pharamine [7] is sitting in harm's way as it's grooming itself.
"GO! GO! GO! GO! GO!" Cinder, Tyrian, and Salem chant, as Ruby, Nora, and Pyrrha screams "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!"
The cats from the kitten store watch meowing as the flipped boxcar slides over the end of the line and come to a complete stop an inch from Pharamine as it continues grooming itself.
The Student and Staff sighed in relief from the close call, as the Inner Circle was let down.
"That was close." Stated Sun as he nearly dropped his banana.
The Mercs let out a sigh of relief as the cat rubs its head on the brake wheel purring. Ruby however seems upset by this fact, removes her helmet as she pulls a knife out on Weiss and holds it up her throat. The other Mercs soon realized their Engineer is actually their rival's Spy as he undisguised himself and took their Medic hostage.
"You gotta be fucking kidding me!" Weiss exclaimed, not appreciating this emotional rollercoaster.
"Language!" Hazel calls out.
The Heiress is not having it. "Oh shut it! You're not the one who witnessed your closest friend sacrificing herself to stop a train that YOU sent to kill the orphan kittens, then being held at knifepoint by an asshole disguised as your friend's sister!"
"I'm your closest friend?" Yang asks, surprised to hear that from her.
"I don't know, I'm angry at my current predicament."
Roman then pulls out his revolver, aiming at the other Mercs, threatening them to stay back unless they want to join Weiss in the respawn waiting room.
"Well done, Roman." Cinder congratulates the criminal. "You're not the shitstain of a Spy I thought you were. The main plan may have failed, but there's always a Plan B."
The students began to panic, unable to think of a plan to rescue Weiss.
"You unhand my sister right now!" Ordered Winter.
"Sorry." Torchwick sarcastically apologizes, "Cinder would have my ass if her plans don't fall through. Now come quietly and no one gets hurt."
Out of the wreckage from behind pops out Yang completely unscathed. She casually approaches Roman who is unaware of her presence as Weiss attempts to break free. After the Spy got the Medic to cooperate, he noticed the barrel of his revolver is now bent ninety degrees.
Roman's calm demeanor deflated immediately as he went, "Oh no…"
With Weiss' captor now distracted, she seized her opportunity and broke free as Spy turned to see Yang towering over him. She grabs him in the face, tosses him into the air, and then plants the poor Spy into the ground like a vegetable. His arms, head, and feet are the only one sticking out the small hole as he groans in pain.
Roman felt a sharp pain on the lower part of his spine as he now knows what a carrot feels like. Students cheered not only for Yang's survival, but also for her saving the Heiress. Cinder however was a bit miffed.
Yang walks past the group, staring up at the top of the mountain where the Team Castle base resides before looking back at the group with a smug grin on her face.
"Time for some payback." Yang said, as she cracked her knuckles.
"Before we continue," Jaune cuts in, "I got to ask. If Roman was Ruby the whole time, then where's our Ruby?" The rest of the audience realized he asked a valid question. Where is the real Ruby?
"Oh that's simple." Emerald-Stirling pulls out his clicker and pushes a button at the screen.
After some tv static, the scene cuts to an outhouse where there is a chair propped against the door keeping someone inside. And that someone is none other than the real Ruby Rose, trapped inside the outhouse as she tries to remove the propped chair by sticking her hand through the crescent moon shaped hole, and attempting to knock it away with her wrench.
"Since Ruby will just respawn after death, Roman just traps her in the outhouse and disguises as her, with her team unaware till someone uses the loo."
"Aww, it's Signal all over again." Ruby cried out, remembering her first day at Signal academy. A couple of bullies had trapped her in a port-a-potty and were unable to get out for half an hour, till a building inspector who was checking out the academy's structural integrity came by and let her free.
Yang also remembered that day when her sister came to her crying, and told the whole ordeal. She was furious, as she tracked Ruby's bullies down and gave them what for, with a one way trip to the nurse's office. The Blonde Brawler confers her sister the best she could as her legs are still frozen in ice.
Back to the film and the top of the mountain, Cinder paced back and forth in the facility, upset with the knowledge that another one of her plans failed. Watts is also there, waiting for the inevitable lip from his boss when something loud and accumulated in black smoke rolls past them.
Meanwhile, Neo is chasing a cute one year old kitten as it leads her outside of the facility.
The girls cooed at how cute the kitten is as Cinder is angrily looking at Neo. The Ice Cream Girl looked back with a face that said, "What?"
"You know what you did!" Cinder responds, knowing what Neo is saying. "If you hadn't loaded the train with your rubber duckies, Team Fortress would've been blown to kingdom come!"
"She really did Derailed your plans." Yang butts in with her pun, causing everyone to groan.
The False Fall Maiden stared daggers at her going, "If this glass wasn't in the way, I scalp every single hair off your head and use it as kindling to light a bonfire, as I cremate you alive."
Roman wants to mention that there's a way around the indestructible glass. But ultimately decided to keep it to himself, and to wait for the right moment.
The Team Castle mercenaries all gather to investigate what was sent in as the smoke settles, revealing a pile of scorched Team Fortress duckies. Cinder picks up one of the burnt duckies that looks like Yang, causing the ducks to spill and reveal the bomb that Jaune disarms and is now rearmed inside the pile.
The Inner Circle immediately gave off a face that said 'Oh Crap' as they know what happens next
After a couple of seconds of figuring out what she's looking at. The Soldier screamed as the bomb detonated, blowing up the whole facility. Neo is the only one not caught up in the blast as the shockwave knocks her forward into the snow as the cat comes back to check on her.
Roman was relieved that his partner made it out safely, while Cinder wasn't.
At the Team Fortress Base, there is a one legged orphan boy standing in line with some cats. He was in the middle of smoking til he noticed Pyrrha coming up to him and quickly tossed his cigarette aside. He then notices the orphan kitten next to him now smoking his cigarette and knocks it out its mouth with one of his crutches that keep him upright. The Team Fortress Soldier walks over to the orphan and the line of cats, checking a list on her clipboard, making sure all the organs and kittens are accounted for as Yang watches from the distance.
Glynda did not appreciate the fact that the kid was smoking and sternly told her students to never smoke, EVER.
Weiss approaches Heavy Weapons Gal from behind, tapping her shoulder to get her attention. The Medic holds up the white queen piece in her hand and smiles asking from another game, as Yang smiles back.
Weiss took this time to free Yang from her icy prison by thawing her out with some Fire Dust.
Before Yang could ask why. "I'm sorry." The Heiress apologies, interrupting her. "I know I'm always annoyed or even down right frustrated with your puns. But I realized that's what makes you…you, if that makes sense. Underneath all those muscles, puns, and bisexuality is a genuine good person, and that I shouldn't treat you so harshly." She then picks up the Tiny Desk Ruby off the floor and hands her to Yang as a peace offering saying, "Truce?"
"...Truce." Yang accepts the offering as she hugs her tiny sister. "You know. Your not as cold-"
"Don't push it."
It then cuts to the two playing a game of chess on some crates, with Yang being the first to start. But it seems she took too long, as Weiss lost her patience as she smacked the board off the crate.
"...it's official. You're banned from chess." Weiss states to Yang, as the students laughed.
Somewhere up in the mountain where Ren is still dangling over the ravine. He has woken up from his nap as he caught sight of something bizarre. It was a group of pigeons carrying a large bomb with some string as they flew into the sunset as the words "THE END" emerged from the bottom of the screen. And with that the film ends.
The audience were equally surprised by what they saw as well.
"Someone needs to Rescue Ren." Said Nora, concerned for her crush.
"I'm more concerned about where those pigeons are taking that bomb." Jaune pointed out.
Author's Closing Notes: I tried to post this sooner, but life got in the way a bit. Maybe I should cover a much shorter video next, and I know just the vid.
Anyway, post a review of your favorite moment and I'll see you next chapter.
