As soon as Lyra was in her private hostel room she took a shower, and it felt absolutely luxurious. It felt like far too long since she could take a warm shower. She'd been to a couple shelters where the lines were too long and the water usage was limited per floor.

Having a heater in the room she took advantage to wash her clothes before hanging them to dry.

Curling up under warm covers she let out a sigh before realizing she couldn't completely rest yet. She wasn't safe until she was back on her feet again with a semi-permanent roof over her head. She was able to get two nights in this room with her money reward leaving her with only 68 left. Deciding to check out quests to see if she could earn more that night.

Deciding to see if OG was available only to be disappointed with his status bubble being gray. Still she sent a chat.

Lyra: If you could be given anything what would it be?

Just as she was about to leave the chat OG's thinking bubbles came up

OG: A competent oboeist

So he was related to a theater or orchestra, maybe a conductor.

Lyra: I'm afraid I'm fresh out of oboeists but I'll see what I can do.

She wasn't sure if her joke landed but she decided to check out the System Store.

The System Store had every category under the sun from Jewelry to Vehicles to Booby Traps to Instruments. She clicked on instruments and searched down the list until she found an oboe.

A smile on her lips as she saw its supposed benefits, then again if something like the system existed why not a oboe that gave 50% competency, 50% accuracy. Quickly buying it not even looking at the price she heard a ding as the system dropped the oboe case in her lap. Looking at her points she found she only had 500 left. Instruments were expensive even in the System Store it would seem.

Quickly heading over to chat.

Lyra: I hope this gift helps. It supposed to add competency and accuracy to whoever plays it.

The bubbles appeared again just as the oboe case disappeared from her lap and she assumed went to him.

OG: It would take a miracle for them to learn to play correctly.

OG: I will put it in use.

Lyra raised her eyebrows, OG wasn't much of a talker so she guessed that was as close of a thank you she'd get. Then again it made her feel less guilty since she would benefit from giving him the gift.

Looking back at the System Store she found she could get some new winter clothes with the rest of her points. She didn't hesitate. Until the clothes dropped in front of her and her stomach grumbled perhaps she should have saved some points to get some food.

Looking at her quests again she noticed she only had one last task to do. Knowing how thin hostel walls could be she decided to wait until morning to record the lullaby.

The next morning she woke hungry but that wasn't anything really new.

Going to chat she clicked on the record option that only appeared then.

Softly she sang 'Sleepsong' by: Secret Garden, before whispering, "I hope you sleep well, OG."
