On the last day before Spoonerville College ended for Christmas 1998, Max went back into his college dorm room, sat down on his bed and opened the letter that he received. He opened it and he was delighted to learn that it was from his ex-girlfriend Lisa. It said:

All is good here in Pennsylvania. I'm still enjoying my college and I'm really enjoying my lessons and Daniel is a great boyfriend. But don't get me wrong, Max. I still miss you and I think about you an awful lot. And I'm so glad that you haven't forgotten me anymore than I've forgotten you and that we remain good friends and in contact with each other.

Reading that letter made Max feel so happy. He was glad that he and Lisa kept in contact with each other and that they continued to be pen pals and tell each other about their college lives. "Yeah, especially after you not only beat that jerk Bradley Uppercrust III, but you proved that he and his Gamma friends had been cheating to win those College X Games ever since he started," Sasha said.

"And you're already a much better guy than my boyfriend Gary ever was," said Annie, who was now only wearing her light blue bra and panties.
