Chapter Four

The next time Daphne saw Sebastian again was at church that night. She felt so confused because part of her hated him, and the other part was curious about him. He was a prince from another country and didn't want anyone to know that. Daphne found Sebastian's wanting to be his own man fascinating. As soon as Sebastian saw Daphne, he walked right up to her, and he didn't care that she was with her parents. He didn't say anything but had an intense stare that Daphne couldn't resist. Then Sebastian turned around and walked away. Mrs Blake was relieved he had left, but Mr Blake was disappointed. Daphne looked at her parents.

"I'll be right back," Daphne said before they could object.

Daphne walked away quickly, and Sebastian was happy when he heard her following.

"Sebastian," Daphne said. "Why are you walking away?"

Sebastian turned around quickly.

"Because I wanted you to walk to me," Sebastian said intensely.

Daphne's eyes widened with surprise as he reached behind her head with his right hand and clipped her hair. As soon as her hair was down around her shoulders, he began to stroke her hair.

"This should be your look," Sebastian said. "Not what your parents choose for you,"

Daphne couldn't have agreed more, and she smiled as she let him stroke her hair.

After the church service the previous night, Mrs Blake rushed her into the car and drove her home. Daphne was a little relieved, but that didn't stop her from thinking about Sebastian. The next day at school, Daphne found him in front of the school, and she walked up to him when Mrs Blake drove away. Sebastian looked at Daphne intensely, annoyed that her hair was tied behind her head in another hairclip.

"Sebastian, I really need to talk to you," Daphne said.

"About what?" Sebastian asked back tersely.

"I need to know why you're interested in me," Daphne replied. "There are other girls here that are beautiful. Why are you so interested in me?"

"You really don't know?" Sebastian asked with intense surprise.

"I just told you that I don't," Daphne replied, frustrated.

Sebastian grabbed her shoulders and pulled her forward with her face close to his.

"I see desire in your eyes!" Sebastian said intensely.

Daphne was expecting him to kiss her and to remove her hairclip again. But he didn't do either of those things. Instead, Sebastian let go of her and walked away. As Daphne watched him walk away, she felt confused and a little scared because she knew what he said about her was true.

Mr Blake and the Host Father met in Coolsville Park for their next meeting. As it was late in the afternoon, few people were there. As they approached each other, both of them were very anxious.

"So, Mr Blake," the Host Father said. "Are you ready to talk business?"

"What do you mean?" Mr Blake asked back, confused.

"I want some of the money Sebastian's father is going to give you," the Host Family said. "Otherwise, I'm not going to help you,"

That was the last thing Mr Blake wanted to hear, and he immediately lost his temper.

"WHERE THE HELL DO YOU GET THE NERVE TO DEMAND SOMETHING LIKE THAT?" Mr Jones yelled. "YOU'RE GOING TO BE PART OF HISTORY!"

"WHAT PART OF HISTORY?" the Host Father yelled back. "ALL I'M DOING IS LOOKING AFTER THE PSYCHO!"

At that moment, Mr Blake and the Host Father realised people were looking at them, so they quickly walked into the woods, and to their relief, no one followed them. Both of them realised they couldn't yell at each other.

"As I was saying, you're going to be part of history because you looked after Sebastian while I was able to get the money to be the new mayor of Coolsville," Mr Blake said.

"That's hardly making history," the Host Father argued. "All I want is a little money for myself, and I want to know how things are going between your daughter and Sebastian,"

"I think things are progressing nicely between them," Mr Blake said.

As the two of them continued talking, neither knew a man with supernatural powers was watching them.

According to his instructions, Sebastian loved that Daphne's mother wasn't coming to pick her up anymore. The only element that he didn't like about his plan was Fred. Fred had designs on Daphne, and he hated it. Sebastian had arrived at the front of the school, where Daphne was waiting for him with her hair still tied up in the hairclip.

"Daphne, I'm glad you're here," Sebastian said. "I need to talk to you,"

"I need to talk to you, too," Daphne admitted.

Then, both saw Fred looking at them from the other side of the front entrance. Sebastian looked at Fred with daggers in his eyes. Knowing what Sebastian could do to him, Fred took the hint and walked away. Daphne sighed in pity.

"What are you sighing for?" Sebastian asked, a little impatient.

"I think Fred's likes me," Daphne said.

Sebastian knew exactly what like meant as far as Daphne was concerned, and he didn't like it.

"He doesn't matter," Sebastian said. What matters is, did you think about what I told you this morning?"

"Yes, I did," Daphne said. "And I think you're right,"

Before Sebastian could move, Daphne beat him to it by kissing him. Then she reached behind her head and unclipped her hair. Some of her hair blew on Sebastian's face; he loved how that felt. Then Sebastian reached down and groped her ass. Daphne loved how that felt, but she couldn't figure out why.
