Somewhere on the planet what have a surface like scorched desert. The wind blow, the clouds spread their shadow on the city. Thousands people are crowding on streets. Night is nearly. One thousand tired and went home, but another thousand came to replace. At that moment the Empire fighters decided to catch one man what have gotten separated from the others. They followed him anticipating success of their hunt but the man found salvation in the car on his way. This running car made a break in right front of him and shot the troopers. Then the driver ordered to get in the car.

Five minutes prior that happened that car had stood apart from the crowd. The man inside was looking at the riots in the city. Scratched his chin he said, "I can't to believe that the news about the Emperor's death brought so lot of joy in our air. He died with a bang and we graved him with a bang. This looks like the party in his honor will never end." He looked at the dark-haired woman in the driver's seat.

She was looking at the road thoughtfully, holding hand on the wheel. After minute of silence she said, "Interesting, how long will it take before they look in their fridges and find nothing to eat? Look in their wardrobe and find nothing to wear?"

"Oh, you're cranky."

"I'm rational. Yes, the rebels won a great victory. However, what is the meaning of this? For us, at least. This is still cosmic junkyard and this will never change. One thing I'm confused and don't know what should I fighting for."

"Girl, you still don't know? Why have the two ways. What if I told you that we should to find a government now?" He turned on the car radio and began channel-surfing.

"Let me guess… Lord Nelson."

"Listen me everyone and don't pretend you didn't hear!" they heard the voice from the radio. "Empire's tyranny days has come to end. Lost with our loved Emperor and his Death Star what exploded with him together. We have a new hope to build our great republic. Strong and mighty. Victory is near but remnants of the Imperials still try to say the word in the history of our galaxy. Little warrior, join the Children of Jakku. Clean up the world of remnants Empire."

"Clean up the world of us?" the woman laughed. "What a stupid idea."

"We have another opportunity."

But before he turned the channel she answered, "It's losing side."

Man looked through the window and saw the young fellow running away from the Stormtroopers. "Look at this. Our colleagues are very brave when they've got the numbers."

"Let's pick him up."

The man made ready his rifle and gave his answer, "Okay, let's do this! And I'm gonna threat them a little."

The car moved and made a little break to pick the passenger. A few shoot through the window and they run away with a new passenger on the back seat. The passenger breathed hard but said them "Thank you for help. I'm so happy one rubble stands by another. Are you rubble?"

"Not exactly. Traitors. Finn Ryan. I was Stormtrooper until Emperor Palpatine died. This's my friend and colleague TIE Fighter…" The car jumped because of getting shoot and Finn lost his train of thought. He shoot through the window again. "What the matter with them? I didn't hit anything still I became to be a trooper." Finn lied back and put the rifle dawn. Deep breath and he said, "At least, looks like I scared them enough."

The driver turned her head to passenger and asked, "Why they was so mad at you?"

"I believe they mad at everyone tonight. But yes, I'm not a typical one walker to a rally. Did you hear about Lord Nelson and Children of Jakku? So… I joined the Children of Jakku and now I known as Storm killer Erik Simon."

Finn moaned thoughtfully, "Cool, Storm killed troops has left. How much Stormtroopers have you killed?"

"Man. This is not something I want to talk. I thank you for safe my ass but you're Imperials."

"Traitors, as I said. I want to join Children of Jakku."

"Do you?"

"Is that weird?" the girl said. "Empire is lost. No one in charge. We have a little group of officers, who makes look like everything under their control, on one side and rebellion on another."

Here is no empire anymore. We have a little group of officer, who makes look like everything under control, on one side and humans of revolution on another."

"And this happens at all the galaxy. Every man for himself. Even such concept as traitor is lost. We were named us traitors ourselves with our own reason." Murmured Finn.

"You're always welcome. However, I should to warn you. We won't have a medal for our deeds and not everyone will get to the end."

"It's okay. I'm accustomed to being a loser."

"I'm serious, man. Every one of us can die. I'll wait you on the train station. We have a business there so take your rifles. If you made your decision, be there tomorrow morning. You must go into these with both eyes open. Once started, there is no going back."

Simon left them soon. Finn settled back, looking after him, and started to talk with the driver, "Did you hear? Such strong words. Once started, there is no going back. I remember I heard the same when I became to be Stormtrooper."

"Yes, if we join the ranks of the rebels…" she looked up thoughtfully. "I'm sure that our old friends will remember our betrayal for the rest of their lives."

"Friend, our sands be all but run. Where's harm in joining the winning side? Especially we already have run away of the losing side. Can you really stay neutral?"

Her eyes opened wide and stuck on the blinking sign "ROAD CLOSED"

"I never thought about it. Does it have a sense? Enough. I wanna go home. Where you want to drop you off?"

Finn asked her to get him home. All the night he was exiting by tomorrow. In the morning he went to meat Simon at the train station but Simon wasn't only one who he met there. So happy to see her, he spread his arm and said, "Come on here."

They stood embraced for a few second before she said, "Finn, enough is enough."

"Why are you so cranky? I'm so happy that you stay with me in this heard time. That is what you're here for, isn't it?"

"Yes, I decided to go through it. My father once told me, "Peace is lie. There is only passion." I'm not sure what is the meaning of this but decided to seek my passion."

"It's from Code of the Sith." Simon said by step toward her. "Your father told you the line from Code of the Sith."

"Yes, that's it. So. What the business do you have for us?"

"Not here. Did you take your guns as I said?" Simon asked and they nodded. "Can you shoot? Of course you do, Stormtrooper. Then follow me. Others are on the position now."

Finn was a little confused by the course of events, "No preludes, no meeting the team. Straight into the fire. Why not?"

"No, no, Finn." Simon replied. "If we wanna meat the team, we should make a good job."

They got a car and walked out of town to the place where crags loom over the railway. There was five rebels seating near the ground like this was a trap.

Simon made a call and said, "We're on the position."

"The train will come in half hour, as I see." man on the line replied. "It's guarded by Stormtroopers. Don't try to occupied the train. Everything you need is in the wagon number six. There're prisoners. Let them be free."

"Thank you, officer Rose." Simon lied the phone. "Listen an offer. We will attack the train from up to dawn and then… You know. Cut off others wagons and make prisoners free. It's a very important operation and we dare not fail."

Then Simon stared down at the valley. As was promised, half hour later the train came into the picture. "That's it, right on schedule." Simon murmured still frowning.

The rock start trembling because of knocking of wheels down there. Simon counted the wagons and commanded everybody to jump when fifth wagon was close. At the same time Finn had a little conflict in his body. His tongue said, "So. I guess we can took a leap of faith, too." But his legs already step after Simon and after way down he met him again on the roof of the train. In his turn, Simon was a little confused with the fact the wagon six has only wheels. He saw just the wagon platform. The first think in his head, "Maybe the deal is the wagons numbered from the tale". Then he stared at the head of the train anticipating all the journey on the roof. He said, "Gentlemen and you lady, we have to go to a head. Wagon number six is there."

"Lady has a question. What if they won't like footsteps on the roof and…" she lifted her forefinger, pretending to have a gun, and shot up. "Bang, bang!"

"This can happen if you'll step very loud." Simon started to run. In that moment, hail of bullets went through the roof what made him fall. "Hello to you, too!" Simon said and got up to run again through fire and headwind. And one motif was holding in his mind:

Through the hot wind hitting in my face

I seek my goal without attention to a graze

No end of this game of life what I play

No matter how much scarf I'll got on my way

Here in the desert is the city covered with a sand

and people inside who tired of been slaved

Here we heard the wind promising a new age

this was the long-awaited hot wind of change

Come on my wind, be a storm

Promising your change sounds like a song

Touch my face, you so warm

You're salvation I've been waiting long

All slaved people have gathered as one

All nameless people followed the sun

So much of us will fall on our way

But the crowd grows again every new day

Here I am, a nameless warrior seeking the wind

On my own, I choose fight without hope for a win

Here in town that no longer exist

I'll fight for change till I can rise my fist

As Simon reached the wagon six, the long grin light formed the blade in his hand. This looked like a saber but not typical one, this was a lightsaber. With one good swing Simon slashed the buffer. The part of train started to fall behind. He tried to go inside but the hail of bullets went through the door and break it down. Simon was little surprised, looking in the empty wagon.

"Oh dear, I almost took a bullet from the next wagon." Simon tried to enter again but another shoot stopped him.

"We're still on the roof. Give me the lightsaber!" said Finn.

"Do you have a plan?"

"No, but my friend want to play a hero."

Simon gave the sword and soon he saw as the woman jumped on second buffer. Stormtroopers shoot well but she hid behind a wall. Then she walked under the fire two times for slash the buffer and pulled the emergency brake.

"Will they stop the train and came back?" she asked, looking as the train moving away from them.

"I don't think so. Not after they was humiliated like this. You walked under the fire and survived. Legends speak true. This guys can't hit anything ever." Then he felt her look of disdain, "Why are you staring at me like that? This feels like I said something bad."

"Where did you get this?" she extended her hand with the lightsaber lying on her palm.

"Maybe you're Jedi." Finn crept up from behind.

"Jedi? I'm a very lucky garbage man. Do you see what I found?" answered Simon taking his saber. "But yes indeed. When I was a kid, I always dreamed to be a Jedi. But it was pipe dream. I have no the Force inside and there is not Jedi Order in the galaxy where could I learn how use the Force. Everything what I have this sword that was lost by unknown Jedi."

"What a story?"

She came to Finn and asked, rising her tone, "Did you hear that? I wouldn't to be so sure on his place. Finn, say something."

"I won't stand up for every Stormtrooper's honor."

While they had a talk, other Children of Jakku opened one of compartment door with an iron grating. Prisoners went outside and Simon remind that he had the job to do. He started his speech, "Brothers, as you see Empire treated you cruelly. But it's losing strength and the fact we're here in front of you is a proof."

"There is no need to explain them the lie of the land, Simon. They prepared to fight on our side" This said old fellow who bowed his head because the roof was very low for him. He came out and forced the other prisoners move forward. Metal hands showed from his mantle and spread a far, "They are who will rule my Tie Fighters."

"You already convinced commercial pilots? Then let me introduce our new brothers. Friends, it's Lord Nelson. Nelson, it's ex-stormtrooper Finn and TIE pilot…" At this moment, a heavy rumble began and they saw as the train is coming back. "What a surprise? I underestimated them. We need to go!"

They started move to exit. Nelson turned his head and looked at TIE pilot. A red laser beam appeared, emanating from his cybernetic eye what made her squinting. Through this red light she not very clear saw what expression shows his mask. Is he happy or angry?

When they came outside, Nelsons henchmen took them their cars and drove off. The next stop was the headquarters of Children of Jakku.

Nelson took the three into his study. Everyone was wandered how many computers he has there. Finn couldn't resist commenting "Cool. Do you show your office for everyone newcomer?"

"No. There's something to explain to Tie Pilot" Nelson turned on one of screen, "As you know, the Empire is falling apart. Our planet is in open revolt as well. You, guys, want join us and fight for republic, don't you?"

"Yes, and you know this. But…"

But Finn continued, "Explain, please, your promise to kill everyone Stormtrooper."

Nelson frowned and thought over minute before gave his answer, "Big words. The public wants blood. Long years of tyranny paid off. I say them what they want to hear."

"Thank you. That gave me comfort."

"There will be blood with or without me. Choose. You can stand against bloodthirsty crowd or head it. We need smart young man like you. TIE pilots, Stormtroopers."

"All right, Nelson. We have got a deal." Both answered.

"Welcome to Children of Jakku. Now, let me fill you in." Nelson said and pointed to the screen with the big fort on it. "The crowd gets tired of this long confrontation. They're already prepare to attack the main fort. It call's White House. But our enemies have the starships. They have the rifles on it. I'm not sure for what this starship will used? Will they run or fight? But they will. Defenders of Empire won't be able to pretend like everything is fine when enemies will knock their door. There is no way back for them. And there is no way for us but kill them. This why we will destroy them when they got up in the air. Are you prepare to kill a few for save much more? Like you did every time."

"Yes, like we did it many times."

"This will be our hardest battle. I have the TIE fighters for that, but Tie Pilot… Tie pilots are really rare resources in here. Simon, give her machine."

They walked to shed. When they got nearly there, Simon started talk with them, "Don't worry if this TIE Fighters will be little difference of you have seen before. We have a problem with a blaster pistol. This why we had hang a rocket launcher on it. Twenty two rockets. You'll like it."

"Why did you told me that," Finn asked. "I'm Stormtrooper. Tell her."

"Yes, indeed. I used to think that TIE pilots are men." Simon turned his head and cried exiting, "Two thousand rockets! You'll like it!"

She looked up and said, "Its engines aren't so powerful for that. How did you fix it?"

"Changed the engines."

"And what the engine does it have now?" The hallway of shed opened and, in that moment, she saw the TIE fighter. Or something what has left of this. That made her froze, dropping her jaw.

"Well, tell me."

"What do you want me to say? Something like," She cried, clutching her cheeks, "Oh, my god!"

"It's still is not clear are you happy or not."

"Have you seen it before?" Finn asked.

"In a museum and a history book. Have you been raiding the salvage bumps to get it?"

"Honestly, I don't know." Simon shrugged his shoulders. "But Nelson said that it's a reliable machine."

"And what the flaws of this engine?" Finn asked.

"Well, I can attack a starship, hit it two hundred times by number of rockets," she lifted the finger up and, "And hit it one more time with my face. Its maneuverability leaves much to be desired." Short breath, "In any case, give me the key. I need a practice."

"Do your best. We have near a week before attack."

"I'll stay here for a little time. I want to see this." Finn said.

"Don't get carried away. We need you, too. The main battle will take place in the air, right. But who will attack Empire headquarter for it begin?"

"Haven't Nelson said that bloodthirsty crowd will?"

"Yes, but you will check that they want burn this place. We will take it after the crowd will go away in satisfaction."

Simon left them and returned to Nelson's office. There he found him watching the video. Nelson heard as he entered and snapped his fingers, beckoning Simon to come near him.

"Battle in the train? How did you get it?" Simon asked.

"I have a bad photographic memory, so my cyber eyes shot everything. This looks not clear through the wall but I believe we should last a man here. Sword swing and this blast seeking in the head. However, the blast changed its trajectory. What is the meaning of this?" Nelson turned his eyes away from the screen and asked, "Have my eyes deceive me? Maybe you're Jedi after all?"

"Come on, Nelson. You know I'm not. You know I'm not. You batter say me something about your engines. I just heard they are very old."

"I'm sorry that's the best I have to offer at the moment. I'll use the same TIE fighter. Relax, man and be faith in my pilots. Be faith in me."
