It was in spectral armor styled after a Gladiator's armor, armored arm, sash, armored skirt, armor around legs, armor helmet, the armored arm even had a crystal spiked shield and it was banging it's chest swinging around a crystal club. It made ape sounds before Seeing the armored up Chomp and pairs. Zoe said this, "Stop this monkey business. " Max laughed.
The dinosaurs charged pairs first, " ultimate leaf!" The monkey blocked with shield and bashed knocking pairs back with no damage before throwing his club which smacked the dinosaur up side the head then it flow back, or it wanted to but Chomp charged with " ultimate thunder!" making the ape jump up over chomp land and shield back it's side with a spin before grabbing it's downed club. Monkey banged club on shield and made the ape sounds making it clear it was a "bring it on!"
the ape heard Zoe growl and go " Metal wing!" however the ape block with shield knock away with club then duck and jump on crushing last flyer. Max blinked before slashing a move card not saying what it was. It was plasma ancher meaning Chomp summoned rope of lighting and swung it around the monkey around into a stone wall. The ape broke free and throw club whacking chomp. He then jumped over pair's charge and grabbed his returning club landing on a hill banging his chest. Max said this, "...This monkey has human martial arts on it's side. Someone trained this primate into fighting skills. Who would give a monkey Kong fu listens!" The ape got into a modified monkey style stance with shield and club as the two dinosaurs charged only to be parried away with club for chomp and smashed by pairs.
Our Couple blinked Zoe said this, " This monkey is pissing me off!" The ape banged it's chest again before holding out it's shield raising it high shooting off crystal spikes like Spike arrow down on the dinosaurs making them roar. The ape then groaned and made more monkey sounds while swinging the club on the ground opening a fissure on chomp that closed slamming it, cracking the armor. Max then slashed a card, "Alpha Dice!" that's when dice landed three of them rolling a total of ten, making ten cartoon bombs dumb around the monkey making it scream and run around armor cracking.
Chomp charged and the ape with cracked club swing smashed Chomp, shattering club and Chomp's armor. A point blank spike arrow finished chomp off. Chomp was carded. Max slashed a card element booster in so armored up Torosaurus appeared, with a roar the Dinosaur charge with " Eletric charge!" the ape held it back both arms behind shield to try and push it. Zoe held a card out, "Right Big foot assault!" the giant foot came down but the ape spun to switch places with Max's dinosaur so it got stepped on cracking it's armor. Zoe was red, " SORRY SORRY!" She slashed a card, " ACT MISSILE!" nothing happened, " Right this is random at some point."
The ape then fired off spike arrow form shield on pairs cracking her armor, while Max used, " lighting axe!" Toro jumped spinning with energy axe for a smash into the ape's shield once more using both arms and firing off Spike arrow The affect shield shattered. Torosaurus armor cracked. Max and Zoe smiled as it came down the three missiles. The ape's eyes widened as they hit him cracking his armor but the ape came out using a flurry of kung fu punches chops and kicks on pairs carding.
Zoe said one thing summoning an Altirhinus that got armor, "well Monkey got game!" She said respecting it as she used, " Stomping hammer!" her dinosaur kicked down and stomped on the ape shattering it's armor only for the ape to smack both sides of the enemy's neck carding it. Zoe pulled out her third dinosaur, "really? Iguanodon!" she summoned it out, "Emerald garden!" this drained the remaining health out of the ape carding it, earth was it's element. Max picked up the card, "Gladiator ape form other space." Zoe said one thing, "How retro sounding."
That's when Max had to check on someone holding Zoe's hand, " GRANDMA GREZELDA!" Now they heard a call and Zoe's images of Max's grandma where shattered why? Despite a few lines Grezelda looked better then much super models, tight skin figure that people would call a beach body, and despite the long glowing grey hair it was pretty. purple eyes, a necklace with a purple stone, grey button up shirt , red vest, red western hat, red shorts jeans left leg removed dark grey stockings and red heel boots. She waved and Zoe could only stare at this woman and said, " Have I been using old lady wrong all my life?"
Grezelda showed up holding her hips as a heart background appeared behind her and she said, "Oh as I am in my seventies yes dear." Zoe's jaw dropped, and she said, "No surgery either, I am the tribe's shaman, a position that in the world of aliens, magic gems, stones cards that bring the dead back to life you have no reason to doubt is real." Zoe blinked and said, " So retired magic girl then?" Grezelda nodded flashing magic girl poses, "I still got the power." She said snapping her fingers to make the leaves on the ground arrange in shape to become arrow pointing at Zoe that spelled out. "Granddaughter in law." Zoe clapped at that eyes widened at literal witch craft.
Grezelda then hugged Max and Zoe, " My grandson married in worlds end so cute!" She spun holding them both, " I hope I live long enough to see great grandbabies!" she said snuggling them up and cuddling them. With spins around saying, "I think I love you but!" She stopped releasing Max and she held Zoe up her background turning to fire, "break my grandson's heart and you will have no peace even in death." Zoe nodded screamed sniffling, as she said, " I think I went wee wee." Zoe was put down as Grezelda came up, "Now come let me show you Max's baby pictures." Max jumped in horror Zoe charged after her, " SHOW THEM TO ME!" no one believed Grandma the retired magic girl. You the reader probably saw it but don't believe it.
In Grezelda's home Zoe was looking at pictures of Max as a baby, he was cute, she gasped seeing Max in a thunderbird costume here. "aaawww how...foreshadowing I guess." She blinked as Chomp was technically a thunder bird, I mean he's a bird with electrical powers. That's a thunderbird. Grezelda smiled looking at it while giving Zoe and Max Flan to eat. "yes the spirits told me my grandson would have a connection to the thunderbirds. ...I was expecting more flying not flightless, but they told no lie." she petted Max's head, " they told no lies.. the tribe is already thrilled that our ape problem ended by thunderbird power." She smiled adding this, "Oh if I was younger I would have helped." She smiled looking around her house picking up her old staff, "but sadly this staff hasn't worked for me sense the day I gave birth to spike. The spirits are fickle they only give their fool power to the pure. Granted I knew that, it's common for magic girls to get Depowered when they get married or fall in love, I knew it was only a matter of time after my wedding before I would lose my full power."
she smiled holding it, " when this thing work for me, I could make nature attack, I could turn leaves into tomahawks to rain on my foes form all angles form the trees, I could make cactus shoot spikes. I could summon spirits of dead animals to strike." Zoe blinked as this move set sounded like the Grass Dinosaur move set. Grezelda sighed saying this holding her heart, " but that's my past, we all have to fall form our peak. I don't regret marrying my husband, I don't regret spike, and I love Max. now I will probably never see my son again thanks to the world's end, So one last time seeing my grandson." She poked Max's nose, " This is the magic I preyed to the spirits for, and I will thank them for granting me this wish as a reward for service. Even if it's just a picture I hope I live long enough to see great grandbabies." Zoe was blushing thinking baby thoughts right now while eating. She shock her head as grezelda smirked. "If I am truly rewarded it will be triplets." Zoe was red.
