Currently, it was a normal night in the streets of Gotham City. Well, in reality, it was not a not so normal night as for once, there was not any crime going on in the streets of Gotham City. For once, there weren't people being worried about getting mugged, robbed, or worse! Things were so unusually quiet that even the citizens of Gotham City were surprised by this change of events.
Usually, around this time, one of the super villains calling Gotham City their home would have done something by now, or some two big criminal would have tried something. Many of them attributed the peace and quiet to the efforts of the Gotham police department and Batman; the vigilante superhero of Gotham City.
This unusual piece was something that was probably only once in a lifetime, so they decided to enjoy it while it lasted until people like the Joker decided to run amok once again.
Meanwhile, in his secret layer, known as the batcave, was none other than Batman himself. Currently, the Dark Knight was observing the secret cameras he had put in Arkham Asylum and Blackgate prison. He was checking to see if anyone was trying to do a prison escape.
Fortunately for the people of Gotham, that thing appears to be the case. Bane was currently working out in his cell, the Joker was just staring at a wall, and even someone like Harley Quinn was just using the nearby pipes to do pull-ups. No... It appeared that every prisoner in Arkham Asylum and Blackgate prison was going to stay in their cells for once and not try to escape!
While the city appeared to be safe for the night, Batman was just bored. He was unusually bored, so he decided to read a book while he waited for something to happen. He already did his microsleep routine, so he didn't need to go to sleep that night. Plus, there was the off chance that something might happen, so he needed to be vigilant until morning.
Batman was currently reading a book called The Journey to the West, which was a book about a famous monk traveling with the Monkey King on a journey to gather scriptures from the West.
Batman actually new Sun Wukong personally since he met him several years ago when Darkseid tried to take over the celestial heavens.
"I wonder how much of this story is true and how much is fiction."Batman said to himself while he continued reading.
"Ah, I can't believe you are just reading a book when you should be on an awesome adventure."said an annoyingly squeaky voice from somewhere in the batcave.
This immediately caused Batman to throw down the book and prepare a batarang, as someone had somehow bypassed the security of the batcave and made their way into his secret lair. At first, Batman was adrenaline was pumping, but then he quickly figured out who it was as there was only one individual who could get past the security of the batcave and make it so well known.
"Why don't you come out, Bat-Mite."said Batman, revealing that he knew who was in his lair.
A moment later, laughter could be heard as a puff of smoke appeared in front of the world's greatest detective. Batman quickly waved off the smoke as he saw a really small imp wearing a cartoonish crudely made Batman costume staring at him. Batman immediately recognized him as Bat-Mite, his annoying fan from the fifth dimension who will mess with Batman every now and again just to entertain himself.
"Bruce, Bruce, Bruce... I honestly can't believe you're so bored that you're reading a book when you should be out out and about fighting crime."pointed out Batman's biggest fan, wondering what his superhero idol was doing.
"There's nothing to combat. So I'm just reading a book I've been meaning to read for some time."pointed out Batman without hesitation, wondering what Bat-Mite wanted at the same time.
"Well, it's boring! I can't believe you're really reading a book when you should be punching the Joker's face until he's missing most of his teeth."said the imp from the fifth dimension.
Batman merely pointed to the monitor where it was revealed that Joker was once again in a catatonic state, just staring into a wall blankly as several personnel of Arkham Asylum were trying to feed him.
"I see he won't be coming out of this latest catatonic episode anytime soon."said Bat-Mite, wondering what brought on this change in the clown Prince of crime.
"I don't know. I honestly don't know."said Batman before he went back to his seat and picked up his book.
"What are you reading?"inquired Bat-Mite, wondering what Batman was reading.
"Journey to the West."answered the Dark Knight, who went back to reading the chapter he was reading as his biggest fan stared at him.
"Hmm... That is an interesting story."said Bat-Mite before a sinister grin appeared on his face.
He just got an amazing idea.
'Since there's nothing here for Batman to fight, why don't I send him somewhere where he can do some actual good?! I mean, it's not like Gotham needs him right now with every major criminal either in jail or in hiding.. plus, there's the added benefit of giving him some real firepower against more powerful threats like Darkseid and Brainiac! I mean, Batman is useful to a point, but he needs some more power if you ever hope to stand up to people like Superman should he ever go rogue! I mean, the kryptonite brass knuckles are awesome. Don't get me wrong... But they won't be enough against Superman when his heat vision can destroy kryptonite.' thought Bat-Mite to himself as he looked at Batman.
"Hey, Bruce. How are those contingency plans you've been working on."asked Bat-Mite, knowing that Batman had plans against every single member of the Justice League should they ever be mind controlled or turn to the side of evil.
"You're my biggest fan, so you should already know they're already in place. Including the failsafe I have for me."pointed out Batman.
"But you don't have a proper contingency plan against Wonder Woman or Superman. I mean, let's face it, there's no proper way to take down those two without real firepower."pointed out Batman's biggest fan.
"What about it? My contingency plans are not meant to kill, just incapacitate."pointed out Batman, wondering why his biggest fan was asking all these questions.
There was literally nothing about him that Bat-Mite didn't already know, so why was he asking this.
"Well, I've noticed your interest in that book, and with things the way they are now... I don't think you're going to get any better anytime soon. So that's why I'm going to send you one a little trip, one that will make you even stronger and more powerful than ever! A real ultimate Batman!"said Bat-Mite with a sinister grin on his face.
Batman immediately realized what was happening and tried to get up so he could leave. But as soon as he stood up, he immediately froze up. No, he could feel his entire muscle structure freeze up like it had been jolted with thousands of volts of electricity, only without the electricity part. He quickly realized Bat-Mite was behind this when he found himself floating at least several feet in the air.
"Let me go!"shouted Batman, wanting his biggest fan to let him go.
"Sorry, but I can't do that. I want you to become an awesome fighter more powerful than any other hero in the DC universe! But the only way that's going to happen is if you become more powerful. There's no way you're going to become more powerful here as there's nothing left in this world to offer you strength. so that's why I'm going to send you on a little trip to the Multiverse to become a lot stronger than ever before! Since you're so interested in having companions join you, I'm going to send you to the world of Pokemon first. It's basically a world filled with these powerful creatures called pokémon who listen to humans on a regular basis because they love to fight. I know, it doesn't make a lot of sense... But it's the perfect world for you. Anyway I hope you have a nice trip. And who knows, maybe you'll finally find a harem of your own.. you won't believe how many Batman fans want that to happen for you. Well, I would apologize, but I'm not sorry at all... So enjoy your trip. Once you're done with the Pokemon world, I'll send you on your next Quest.. it should be only a few worlds before you become strong enough for me to be satisfied to send you back. But in the meantime, have fun, make new friends, make new lovers, and make damn sure you're more powerful after each world! Good luck, Bruce Wayne. Oh, and before I forget. I'm going to be stripping you of your Batman armor since I want to take it with me back to the 5th dimension."said Bat-Mite before he snapped his fingers and caused Batman to be left and nothing but a muscle shirt and boxers.
He then snapped his fingers again and put Batman in what appeared to be a janitor outfit. Bruce was not happy at all, but before he could say anything, he was immediately sent to the Pokemon world.
"Now did I send him to Kalos, Galar, or Paldea...ah, who cares! Either way, he's going to be a badass Pokemon trainer like no one ever was! I really hope he catches some legendary Pokemon since he'll need them for the next world I'm planning to send him to after he's done with the world of Pokemon. Man, this is going to be so freaking awesome! Batman on an epic journey through the Multiverse like journey of the West, only it's Batman, and instead of going to the West, it's the multiverse. This is going to be so much fun! Now the only thing left to do is go back to my man cave in The fifth dimension with this latest piece of Batman memorabilia and get ready to binge watch the ultimate Batman adventure! Man, I can't wait! Better prepare some pizza and soda."said Bat-Mite to himself before he teleported himself back to the fifth dimension with Batman's costume.
As for Bruce Wayne himself, he currently found himself lying in a grassy field filled with all kind of creatures that look like animals only they were different.
He quickly stood up and held his head before looking around and realizing he was no longer in Gotham City... Or even his old world, for that matter, because of the strange creatures around him, which he assumed were Pokemon.
"Bat-Mite!"shouted Bruce Wayne to the heavens, knowing he wouldn't once again have to play the game of his biggest fan if he ever wanted to go back to Gotham City in one piece!
Hopefully, things will work out for him!
(I always wanted to write a Batman Multiverse fanfiction story... I saw several writers try and fail many times, so I decided to throw my hat into the ring and do myself! As the old saying goes, if you want something done right... You have to do it yourself! Well, that's exactly what I'm doing! The story will have many key elements here and there with some of my favorite genres. Now Batman will have a harem at the end of this story, so please enjoy the meantime.
