"Plagg, it's time to head off to school," Adrien called, shouldering his bag. Silence answered, and Adrien scanned the room for the Kwami. Plagg emerged from a secret drawer and instead of being black, his Kwami had turned orange? Was this some kind of random side effect?

"Why are you orange?" Adrien demanded. "You'd better not have been off using your powers without M'lady's permission." "Kid, it's worse then that. I was in the Cheeto bag, and now am covered in cheese dust."

"The Cheeto bag?" "Did you forget Nino got a package full of American snacks and he gave you the extra bag? And where there is cheese, there is Plagg!"

Adrien breathed a sigh of relief. "Come on, let's get you clean." Scooping up a protesting Kwami, he'd filled the sink with bubbles and warm water. He begin to gently wash Plagg. "Soon you'll be squeaky clean and-ow!" Adrien withdrew his hand sharply, sucking on his finger. "Did you just bite me?" Plagg grinned. "I'm a shark." "And to think, all I do for you!"

Adrien once again grabbed his bag and headed to school. Ugh, the sooner Marinette got here the better. Could he ask her to kiss his finger and make it better? Swarms of students pushed and moved around him, but no sign of his Princess.

"Hey, My Dude!" Nino knocked fists with Adrien. "Enjoy the snacks?" Adrien winced slightly, as his fist was connected to the bite. "Well, someone enjoyed them," he muttered under his breath. "What's that?" Nino asked. "I asked, have you seen Marinette?"

As if on cue, the girls walked into the picture, but the scene was...strange. Alya was trying to walk towards them, while Marinette tried to hide herself with Alya.

I know she can be shy, but do I look that hideous? Adrien thought. I wonder what's wrong. Does she need help? "You okay?" he called, and Alya waved. "Oh, just the usual morning hug. Get off!" she growled at Marinette. Marinette peeked and hid again.

Adrien felt his temper flare. He wanted a hug too! "Hey," he blurted. "I give free hugs too! And kisses!"

Marinette's head shot up. "Kisses?" she trotted over, face still pink. "Good morning, Marinette." "What happened to your finger?" she asked in concern. "A cheese dusted shark." "Huh?" "Could you, like, kiss it and make it better?"

Oh, how she beamed. "Sure!" She gave it a smack, and found herself in Adrien's embrace. Heh, he had gotten his hug, and his "ouch" was now a distant memory.
