(A/N) Yeah, sorry for the long wait, this episode kinda had me stumped with how to merge the two plots, so I might end up doing a quick jump. Basically Mega-Globby is over and done with. Moving on to the next one. Sound good? (Deadpool: No!) A bit late to turn back now! Should have said something sooner! This was really the best I could do. There wasn't much that went on during the Mega-Globby bit I could add so decided to jump over it and say it happened to move on.
Karmi sat rigidly on the train, its rhythmic clatter against the tracks echoing her inner turmoil. The scenery outside blurred into indistinct streaks of color as her mind raced with worry. What was happening to her? The strange powers that had stirred within her since the Spider-Island incident felt like a wild beast, untamed and dangerous. She needed to do something, to find answers.
"I have to tell someone about this," Karmi reasoned, scrolling through her contacts with trembling fingers. Her heart sank as she hovered over Liv's name but ultimately pulled back. A cold wave of anxiety washed over her. *How do I even explain this?*
A sense of desperation set in. She needed a guide, someone who could help her make sense of the chaos. *Dr. Morbius,* she thought, firmly deciding to seek him out. Without a moment to lose, she hopped off at the next station, her heart pounding with urgency as she navigated through the bustling corridors of the train station.
When she finally reached Michael's home, the atmosphere shifted. Karmi raised a shaky hand and knocked, but was met with a jarring sound — glass shattering echoed from within, slicing through her courage like a knife. Panic gripped her chest.
"Dr. Morbius?" she called, gradually pushing the door open. The sight that greeted her was alarming; the entrance was marred with deep scratches, as if a fierce struggle had taken place. "Michael?"
"Get… away!" Michael's voice, strained and frantic, cut through the air like a siren. An instinctual alarm went off in Karmi's mind, a buzzing urgency urging her to flee. "Leave… now!"
"Doctor?" Ignoring the rising tension in her head, she pressed forward. "Doc?"
Suddenly, the internal warning escalated, a frantic whisper screaming in her thoughts: *Look out!*
Before she could react, a looming dark figure descended from the shadows of the ceiling, crashing violently onto the already splintered table in the room. The creature roared, its grotesque form thrashing wildly, as though caught in a battle with some unseen enemy within. He injected a syringe into his arm, drawing his own blood into the syringe, and let out a screech of pain that almost sounded like a bat.
Karmi gasped, her heart racing in shock. "Dr. Morbius?" She barely recognized her own voice, threaded with disbelief as she eyed the chaos unfurling before her.
The doctor whirled around, his pale skin glistening under the flickering lights, revealing sharp, elongated ears that seemed almost otherworldly. His eyes, deep black pools framed by eerie red lenses, glinted with a predatory hunger. A chilling snarl tore from his lips, displaying a set of razor-sharp teeth that made Karmi's heart race. She instinctively recoiled, the terror crashing over her like a wave. His clothes hung in tattered shreds, marred by the aftermath of a fierce struggle, hinting at a battle far beyond the realm of ordinary conflict. As he advanced menacingly towards her, it appeared as though he were waging war within himself, his snarls echoing his inner turmoil. Karmi screamed, stumbling backward, her gaze locked onto the approaching figure, a twisted nightmare striding toward her.
Meanwhile, miles across the city, Peter tossed and turned in his bed, the deep of night disturbed by an overwhelming sense of impending danger. Jolted awake, he bolted upright, his instincts on high alert as he scanned the dimly lit room, desperate to pinpoint the source of his unease. And then, an uncharted sensation prickled at the edges of his awareness—unfamiliar yet undeniably compelling. He walked to the window, the city sprawling beneath him, and felt an inexplicable pull urging him to a specific location. This feeling was foreign, unlike anything he'd ever experienced before.
"This is new…" he muttered to himself, bewildered but intrigued.
"Dr. Morbius?" Karmi's voice trembled as she reached out, desperation lacing her tone. "Please, don't do this!"
Michael's primal instincts clouded his judgment as he prepared to strike, his sinister gaze locked onto the terrified girl. Just then, several web tendrils shot out from the darkness, latching onto his back with unyielding force. He spun around, eyes wide in shock, and there stood Spider-Man, poised and ready, his presence a beacon of hope.
"Get out of here, kid!" Peter shouted urgently to Karmi, who was already sprinting away in sheer panic. Turning his attention back to the creature, he added with a hint of adrenaline-fueled bravado, "Dr. Morbius. Big fan of your work."
Morbius let out a snarl, cutting out the webbing with his claw-like nails, and charging at Peter with tremendous speed. His sharp teeth caused Peter to yelp in panic as he dodged the strike, but Morbius changed direction and tackled Peter, sending them falling out of the building. Peter grabbed onto him and tried to fight back as Michael continued to try and sick his teeth into Peter.
"Doc, come on, what's wrong with you?" Peter asks.
They then fell and crashed through the streets, running into the subway tunnels. They groaned as Peter quickly climbed up and Michael rushed off at tremendous speed that Peter had to shoot webs to try and keep up with him.
"Dr. Morbius!" Peter tried to get his attention. Morbius crawled his way up the subway tunnel walls, shocking Peter as he tried to chase him as a train approached. "Oh, come on!"
As the train gained speed, Peter shot two webs and launched himself forward to make it back towards the exit. Morbius reached there first and tackled the first person he could to begin draining blood.
"No!" Peter quickly intervened and he tackled Morbius just as he sunk his teeth into the victim. "Run!"
The woman whimpered as she got up and ran away as fast as she could. Peter tried to hold Morbius down, but he was fighting him. Peter shot several webs to try and hold him down, but Michael was fighting through, trying to free himself.
"Doc, what's happened to you?" Peter tried to get through, watching he was beginning to fight it. "Michael Morbius?"
"The... blood..." Michael strained out. "Answer in... the blood."
"Boood?" Peter wasn't following. "What blood?"
That was when Michael's other half took back control, swatting Peter backward into a wall. Peter groaned as he felt himself embedded into the wall. Several officers rushed down the tunnel and watched the two of them fighting.
"Hey! Hands up!"
The monstrous face on Michael showed he was thrusting for blood. He looked at the cops and snarled, his teeth glistening with the thirst.
"No..." Peter whimpered in pain, trying to fight through it. "Get out of here!"
Micahel was too fast. He rushed over, dodging several bullets that they shot at him, but he dodged them with incredible speed and sliced them down instantly. The cops all fall down as Michael sink down on their necks and drained them of blood. Peter pushed himself out and shot a taser web to try and scare the creature off.
Michael got hit while he was feasting and snarled, rushing off to escape. Peter groaned as he limped his way over to the cops and contacted Yuri as he made it over. "Yuri, I've got a few officers down in the subway downtown. They're drained of blood. Hurry..."
Peter swung his way back over to Michael's apartment and looked around. He walked through the hole that they made and looked around the house which looked like it was torn apart.
"He must have begun changing here," Peter said as he looked around, noticing the broken door. "But then why try breaking into the home that you are already inside?" He then felt something touch his foot and he looked down and found a vial of blood. He reached down and picked it up, seeing it was Michael's blood. "No, he came here to cure himself... so what happened?"
Outside of the home, Prowler was watching everything, using his visors to see and hear everything Peter was saying from a safe distance in the shadows.
"Okay, repeat everything you just said... but try and explain to us like we don't believe you," Teresa told Peter.
Peter had tried to explain everything to them in the lunch room. Seems nobody believed or was skeptical to believe the idea of someone turning into a Vampire.
"Michael Morbius is a vampire?" Hiro asked Peter.
"I wish I was making this up. But you should have seen it. He was horrifying." Peter told the team. "Morbius was pale skinned, sharp teeth, he stayed out of the sunlight, and he drank blood."
"Okay, that definitely sounds like a vampire," GoGo admitted.
"There has got to be some logical explanation to this," Hiro said.
"Yeah." Wasabi agreed. "But on the safe side, I am going to go get some garlic and silverware, anyone wanna join me?"
"Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys." Fred ran into the room, seemingly excited by something. "Guys, guys, guys, You should have seen these cars. " He showed off his phone that showed some highly advanced cars. "They looked like they were from the future." He then gasped, punching Wasabi's food into the air. "Maybe they were from the future!"
"Oh, no."
"Fred, that was a $12 cold-pressed juice!" Wasabi said as a machine came over and cleaned it up.
"My bad, Wasabi," Fred said. "You know time travel gets me all worked up. Here." He then picked up the drone, pouring the drink into the cup with dirt, a bandage, and a tater tot. "Let me get that for you. And there you go. Oh, and look! A bonus tater tot."
Wasabi gaged and rushed off as fast as he could to throw up somewhere away from them.
"You should breathe now," Baymax said, following Wasabi to the trash.
Hiro used his phone. "Whoa. There was a bank robbery last night. Maybe those were the getaway cars."
"From the future," Fred said eerily.
"Or not," Peni said. "Likely not."
"One way to find out," Hiro said. "Night patrol."
"In the future," Fred said. "Wait, no. I mean, tonight. Let's do it tonight."
"I'm gonna have to snatch Peni and Teresa from your little patrol," Peter told Hiro. "I'm going to need all the help I can get to stop Dr. Morbius."
"Dr. Morbius?" Fred asks. "Why?"
"He's a vampire now," Teresa answered.
"WHAT?!" Fred asked in shock. "A vampire?" He then rushed to Peter's side. "And you didn't call us?!"
"Dude, I was at home when my spider-senses went off and I just followed them to this apartment complex. Karmi was there and being attacked by Dr. Morbius. Didn't leave much time to call you guys."
"And even if you did, by the time we got there, it would have been likely too late," Peni added.
"We should also bring that heavy armor Hiro got us," Teresa said. "Not because I am afraid of a vampire sticking his teeth into me, rather I fear for my baby sister's safety."
"I literally walk around in an armored suit," Peni reminded her older sister. "I am not becoming vampire food."
"I feel terrible, but I can't make it." Honey Lemon told them. "I'm throwing a sticker party. It's BYOS. "Bring your own stickers"."
"Great." GoGo sighed, not a fan. "- Not another sticker party."
"What was that, GoGo?" Honey asks.
"I was just saying, how sad I am to miss it." GoGo lied. "But duty calls."
"Don't worry. We'll have a sticker after-party, just you and me." Honey promised with a smile.
GoGo sighed as she leaned back. "Fine."
"'Fine' is Go-Go for "Yay"!" Honey cheered.
That night, Peter, Teresa, and Peni were on the move searching through the city. Peter had given Peni the serum that Michael was making with his blood to try and figure out what happened using the systems of the SP//DR.
"That's weird," Peni found something interesting. "There is something foreign in Dr. Morbius' blood."
"What do you mean?" Teresa asks, flying aside her sister as she leaped across the rooftops in the armored spider outfit.
"I am saying that it looks like someone put vampire bat DNA into his systems," Peni explained.
"You talking about gene splicing?" Peter asked in shock as he swung over and landed aside his family.
"Gonna be honest, that's actually a bit more terrifying than an actual vampire," Teres said.
"Someone purposefully genetically injected this into his system, and he has been struggling to fight it," Peter said in worry. "His thirst is only going to grow the longer he goes without it."
"And he already got a taste of it on those officers." Peni reminded him.
"They didn't..." Teresa was afraid of the answer.
"They're fine, and not vampires," Peni assured her sister.
"Well, where you go if you wanted to feat on people and go unnoticed?" Peter asks.
"The park!" The trio cried.
Running off to the park, they saw people screaming and running away in several directions. Karmi was also on the search to try and find the doctor, wondering what happened. She thought maybe if she got close to talking to him, it would be enough.
"Looks like this is the place," Peter said. "You girls ready?"
"No," They said.
"Good, me neither," Peter said.
They then rushed into the scene, shooting webs to swing or activating their wings to fly across the sky and reach the park. When they did, they saw the vampire feasting on someone.
"Michael!" Peter cried to get his attention.
Micahel Morbius snarled as he looked up at the trio as they dawned their advanced armor over their common gear. They got into a fighting stance as they saw the villain snarl in hunger, smelling their fresh blood.
"This was a mistake," Peni said.
Michael charged his way over faster than they could perceive, but fast enough that Peter could shoot a webline and latch it to Michael. He was pulled off course, giving Peni a chance to grab him with her armor's claws.
"Hang on, Doc, we are trying to help you!" Peni said, trying to get a fresher sample of his blood.
Michael fought his way out, cawing at her armor with his sharp nails, fighting his way out as Peni got a sample of his blood. But it was swatted away as her armored claw was sent flying across the park. Then Morbius leaped out of her grasp and looked up to see Teresa flying down, shooting tasers to try and slow him down.
Michael was hit, and he shrieked, dropping to his knees in pain. He roared as he fought the tasers as they hit his body. He then panted, losing momentum and power due to that.
"Finally got you," Peter sighed. "Let's get him contained so we can start synthesizing an antidote."
Morbius unleashed a piercing screech that reverberated through the air, prompting Peter, Teresa, and even Peni to instinctively cover their ears. Suddenly, a chaotic swarm of bats erupted from the shadows, their leathery wings rustling like a thousand whispers. The four of them found themselves engulfed in the dark flurry, disoriented and panicked, particularly as Karmi let out a terrified shriek, desperately trying to shield herself from the onslaught of flapping creatures.
At that moment, Peter felt his spider-sense prickling intensely, urging him to turn sharply. To his astonishment, he spotted Karmi struggling amidst the chaos. Without a moment's hesitation, he leaped into action, launching himself through the tumult of bats and tackling Karmi to the ground, instinctively shielding her with his body. The bats swirled around them relentlessly, their chaotic presence closing in.
Thinking quickly, Peter activated his mechanical arms, creating a shimmering electric barrier that crackled and hummed between them and the relentless swarm. Slowly, the chaos began to recede, allowing the four of them to catch a glimpse of Morbius slipping away into the darkness.
"After him!" Teresa shouted, her voice cutting through the remnants of panic as she and Peni dashed after the fleeing figure.
Peter let out a resigned sigh at the sight of Morbius disappearing, then turned his attention back to Karmi, who was wide-eyed and trembling beneath him. "Hey, you okay, kid?" he asked gently, his heart softening at her vulnerability.
Karmi blinked in surprise, her expression a mix of shock and awe as she took in Spider-Man's close proximity. "Uh... yeah. I'm okay, Mr. Spider-Man," she stammered, her voice tinged with disbelief.
Peter couldn't help but chuckle at her formality; if only she knew who he really was. But before he could respond further, another jolt of his spider sense surged through him, more profound than the usual warnings of danger. This sensation was different, almost like a pull of shared destiny. He noticed Karmi wince slightly as their eyes met; it was as if they were bound by an unspoken connection, a shared thread in the great tapestry of the spider genome.
The realization hit him like a lightning bolt: Karmi had powers too. "I thought I was the only one," Peter murmured, astonishment lacing his voice. Peni had a similar powerset but she was on a different level than Peter and his powers. Karmi had abilities similar to his own. "You're like me...aren't you?"
"I... I don't want to be," Karmi replied, her voice trembling with uncertainty. "I never asked for this. I didn't want this."
Peter's heart ached with empathy as he recognized her struggle. "Yeah, I know that feeling, kid," he replied softly, remembering the whirlwind of change that had come with his own powers. "I bet you've got a lot on your mind right now, huh? Like the world just flipped upside down, and everything got too loud and chaotic?"
Karmi stared at him, surprise flickering in her eyes. "Yeah," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper.
"It's overwhelming, I get it. But trust me, you're going to be okay." Peter offered, striving to inject hope into the uncertainty. "In fact, I can help you figure this all out—show you the ropes." Just then, Morbius's distant screech pierced the air again, a reminder of the urgent chaos still unfolding. "I just need to go deal with the psychotic doctor-turned-vampire first. I'll come find you as soon as it's safe. Sound good?"
Karmi hesitated, uncertainty lingering in her eyes. "Uh... sure," she replied, her voice wavering.
"Great!" Peter exclaimed, relief washing over him. He shot a web into the night sky, launching himself towards the chaos with a newfound determination. Glancing back at Karmi, he offered her a reassuring smile. "See you later, kid."
Emboldened, he decided to demonstrate the full potential of his abilities as he soared through the air, executing dazzling aerial maneuvers, each web-slinging trick showcasing the sheer exhilaration of his powers.
"This is going to be one wild story to tell the others," he mused, already imagining the reactions, especially from Hiro when they learned that Karmi now shared their extraordinary world.
Teresa flew around a construction site that Morbius made his way up using his claws and strength. Peni was following him upward while Tersa was waiting to spring their trap. When he rushed to try and strike Teresa, She quickly swatted him with her wings, sending Michael flying over and hitting the construction equipment. He seemed to be unconscious, but they weren't sure for how long. So they rushed over and tried to figure out their next move.
"Keep him down," Teresa told Peni. "We need to find a-"
That was when she was suddenly hit at full speed of a familiar face. He sent her flying across the way and then tossed several tasers that hit the SP//DR and caused Peni to shriek as an electrical current fried her systems.
The figure was then revealed to be Prowler as he marched his way over towards Michael. He drew a syringe and stuck it into the doctor, apparently some sort of sedative that kept him unconscious. While he was unconscious, Prowler was preparing to move him when he was suddenly struck by two webs.
Looking upward, Prowler was met with a kick to the face as Peter used the momentum from yanking on the web to fly in and kick the Prowler in the face. He was sent flying, but grabbed Peter, sending the two skidding across the construction site together. Peter grabbed at the Prowler, getting sick of him constantly appearing and disappearing.
"Prowler!" Peter struggled to mock him as he grabbed Prowler, trying to get his gauntlets off his own throat. "Where have you been, man? Been worried about you!"
The two were slowing down when Prowler activated his rocket boots, sending them flying over the edge and falling off the edge. While they were falling, Prowler punched Peter and used his boots to try and kick him away. But that only ended with Peter shooting a web to latch onto him and yank himself back upward to the top. When he landed, Peter landed a few feet ahead, and he quickly got punched in the face and kicked in the knee, but he wasn't done as he quickly dodged a few more punches. Prowler then used his thrusters to send Peter flying again.
Peter rolled around but found his footing as he prepared to continue the fight. "Is that all you've got?"
But then Prowler revealed some sort of remote and pushed a button. The tasers on Peni's suit released some sort of gas, causing Peter to flinch as he didn't know what the smoke did as Prowler backed away into it.
"Hey, not this time!" Peter rushed in, shooting several webs to try and latch onto Prowler. Seeing it was just a smoke screen, Peter rushed in to try and find him. But as the smoke cleared, there was no sign of Prowler or Michael.
"Oh, great." Peter sighed.
The next day, Peter had to help Peni bring the SP//DR to SFIT to try and fix the suit. Peter sighed as he dropped the suit on the desk to let Peni get the systems working again.
"So, Prowler kidnapped Morbius?" Hiro asks.
"Yeah, it's weird," Peter sighed. "That guy keeps showing up and disappearing. I don't know where he got these skills, but I kinda wanna take a course or two."
"You just want those rocket boots," Teresa stated with a smile.
"That is part of it," Peter stated. "Come on, me with rocket boots and wings? Imagine how much faster it would be for me to get around the city."
"Feels like I might have seen that before," Peni admitted. "Maybe in one of Fred's dopy comics or something."
Peter looked over to GoGo. "And I heard that Honey is moving out."
"Yeah, it's good," GoGo admitted. "It will be nice to finally get some privacy and less surprise portraits."
"Surprise what?" Teresa asks in surprise.
"But, you know, it was kinda nice living with someone," GoGo told Peter in a slight tone. "But I couldn't survive more Honey Lemon."
Peter seemed to not be getting the hint. "Well, you could always make out an ad if you want someone to live with you."
Teresa smacked herself. "Ugh, Pete..."
"You know it's bad when I can see it and he can't," Peni agreed.
GoGo didn't seem to like his suggestion for obvious reasons. "Hey, GoGo," Hiro called. "I ran some aerodynamics on the hyper-cycle and, uh well, you're good to go."
"Great," GoGo said as she walked off.
"What'd I say?" Hiro asked.
"GoGo is emotionally vulnerable at the moment," Baymax said.
"Seriously, Pete?" Teresa asks.
"What?" Peter wonders.
"Dude, your girlfriend just asked you to move in with her," Peni informed her brother.
"What?" Peter asks in surprise. He then realized what GoGo said and gasped. "Ooooooh!" Then it really started to sink in. "OH!"
"There we go," Teresa was happy to see it finally hit him.
"That is... unexpected," Peter said.
"Seems like she wants you to move in," Hiro seemed to agree. "Is there something wrong with that?"
"I mean... I don't know," Peter shrugged.
"Expressing one's feelings could be healthy," Baymax said.
"Yeah, of course, you think that Baymax," Peter scoffed as he crossed his arms. "Uh, I gotta think about this."
The others went out to deal with Heathcliff, who was giving them a hand as Sparkles and Yama were behind the racing cars. GoGo was working on helping Peni's suit while she was at home, and she and Peter were alone.
"I'm gonna help Honey Lemon move her dresser, GoGo," Hiro said. "You good?"
"Yeah," GoGo said, keeping her eyes on her work and away from Peter.
"Bye, GoGo," Honey said.
"Bye," GoGo said.
Peter saw that it was the only chance to talk to her alone. "Uh, GoGo? Can we talk?"
"Sure, what's up?" GoGo asks.
"Look, you know I can be... stupid and not catch onto obvious statements." Peter tried to explain himself. "I never really thought of the idea of you actually wanting to move in with me."
"Really?" GoGo asks. "We've been together for over a year."
"Really?" Peter asks, thinking back to the time. "Wow, okay, I didn't even think of that. But you gotta see it from my side. I never really lived outside my family. They've always needed me. I just never really considered the idea of us moving in together. Or really getting a girlfriend altogether."
"Really?" GoGo asks.
"Yeah, I just... my family had relied on me ever since Ben passed, I just don't really know if I could really help out with keeping two homes afloat. Because I don't really want to leave you with the rent if we lived together, and I don't want to leave May hung out to scrape by like that."
GoGo was starting to follow what he was saying. "I get it." She sighed. "I just wondered what it would be like to actually live together. See if it worked well with us."
"I'd like that, too," Peter said.
GoGo kissed him and smiled. "Thanks for talking to me."
"No problem," Peter said.
Teresa happened to overhear everything as she was about to enter the labs when they talked. She hated hearing that Peter was giving it up for her and Peni and their family. She wondered if there was something she could do to remedy that.
That was when their phones went off, getting them to look and see a message from Hiro. "Yama and Sparkles are hitting Richardson's comic book store tonight. Meet us there."
Making their way to the comic book store, one man down with Peni's suit still out of commission, they saw there was someone sneaking around in the store. Yama was already there, trying to find something among all of the comics.
"Looking for something?" Hiro asked, turning the lights on.
"It's not here," Yama said.
"Nice try," GoGo stated. "Hand it over."
"It's not here," Yama repeated. "I looked everywhere."
"Then why would Mr. Sparkles say it was here?" Peter asks. "Unless..."
That was when Yama's phone went off. "Little freak set me up!"
"Fred, Mr. Sparkles double-crossed Yama." Hiro contacted Fred.
"Sparkles isn't here," Fred informed them. "Guys! He's in one of the cars and just took out Heathcliff!"
"Indeed!" Heathcliff cried, followed by a splash of water.
"You'll never catch him," Yama told them.
"Ha. Right, like he's going to outrun the Speed Demon here," Peter said, looking to GoGo.
"Speed Demon?" GoGo asks, blowing a bubble and popping it. "I like it."
Hiro summoned a motorcycle that GoGo used to chase Sparkles down the streets of San Fransokyo. Catching up with him was a breeze, seeing it was the only high-tech car on the street. He tried to run her off the road, but GoGo knew a thing or two about getting around obstacles. She then shot off Tasers to slow the car down which shut down the systems.
Sparkles then used an eject button to fly to a flying chicken... because of course there's that. "You haven't seen the last of-" That was when Peni landed on the flying chicken. The SP//DR finally worked again as the suit had its arms crossed and a stern emote on its face. "Oh, poo." Peni dropped off the chicken and watched it crash into the ocean. "I hate superheroes."
Honey Lemon stopped the car and they cheered to see that they accomplished the job. Even though they weren't able to stop Prowler from getting away with Dr. Morbius, they were able to stop Sparkles and his dumb speed racing.
Yama then rushed over like he was part of the team. "Yeah, alright!" They all looked confused then over to the sirens approaching. "Ugh, not again..."
Liv watched as Prowler came in and dropped Morbius inside another one of the cells. He saw the other cells containing Dr. Connors, Orso Knox, J. Jameson, Jr., as well as some sort of bear that he must have missed out on, and the other experiments that were amock the labs like Scorpion, High Voltage, Momokase, all testing their skills Liv ahs been improving on.
"I have to say this was an unexpected result," Liv said to Michael. "I mean, a vampire? That was just too good."
"What exactly are you doing with all of these creatures, Doc?" Prowler finally wondered.
Liv looked at him with a stern look. "You said you don't ask questions."
"Asking questions and starting to grow concern are two things," Prowler told her. "I got family in this city. You start leaving monsters to run amuck, I might start to question keeping them here."
"There is a method to this madness, broody," Liv promises. "And I assure you when the day is done... this will all make sense."
Prowler wasn't sure if he believed her but decided to take her word for it for now.
"So, yeah, that's kinda why I thought it would be best to talk to you about this," Teresa said over the phone with someone.
"Interesting," Tony Stark said over the phone. "And what is it that you are proposing?"
Teresa smiled. "Something you will like..."
Karmi was walking outside of school when her text said to meet up. She wasn't sure what this was about as the number was answered with 'you'll know me when you see me'. She looked around, wondering if she made a mistake as she answered a strange number. But at the same time, she did have powers now. Maybe they worked for her to help keep her safe.
Then she heard a THWIP, getting her to look up as Spider-Man came and landed on a nearby trash can. He figured it would be best to try and get Karmi familiar with her powers before filling everyone else in on her capabilities. He carried a duffle bag with him with a surprise that would help keep the training a secret.
"Karmi. Great to see you made it."
"Uh, yes, Mr. Spider-Man!" Karmi stood at attention like she was some military professional.
"It's alright kid." Peter chuckled. "Spider-Man is fine for now."
"Yes, Sir," Karmi said sheepishly. "So, what do we do?"
"Well, I was hoping you could fill me in on how this all happened," Peter said, wanting to hear how her origins began.
"Where do you want me to start?" Karmi wonders.
"Start at the beginning," Peter told her, ready to hear how all of this happened.
(A/N) A bit of a warning, we might be doing another jump as the next few episodes didn't add much or I will be changing what comes next due to Karmi's involvement. Trust me, Karmi will change how things go down forward and the events that originally occurred will be changed due to them. In the words of a hamster once said...
Rhino: Let it begin! Let it begin! Let it begin!
