Prank Gone Wrong

At the Cafeteria in Darkley's, Lloyd and Melissa were getting their lunch tray as they had their option. "You know, despite it being an evil school, it does have a good lunch." Lloyd commented.

"Yeah, and usually School food is terrible." Melissa said with a chuckle.

"True enough." Lloyd said with a chuckle as well as they walked up. "But the only downside is that no one wants to sit with us." He said with a frown.

"That may be true, but the bright side is that we still have each other." Melissa said with a smile. "Besides, do you really wanna hang out with Chad, Brad and Gene?"

"Nope. Those guys can sit on their own." Lloyd said with a smile as the two shared a chuckle.

Lloyd and Melissa then got their lunches and went to their usual spot, but what they didn't know was that Chad, Brad and Gene were watching them from a few tables over. "Oh, there's Garma-Dork and his Dork-girl." Chad said with a smirk.

"Look at them being all dorky and friendly with each other." Brad said with a gag. "Makes me want to hurl."

"So, what's the plan, Chad?" Gene asked with an evil smirk.

"Well, remember earlier in health class when Melissa said that she is allergic to tomatoes?" Chad asked to which Gene and Brad nodded. "Well the plan is to wait till Garma-Dork and the Dork-Girl is distracted and then I'll slip this into the girl's food." He said as he held up a piece of tomato in his hands. "And once she eats it, she'll be itching like crazy!"

"Oooh, that's gonna be so hilarious!" Brad said with a smile.

"Yeah it is." Chad said with a smirk. "Now all we have to do is wait till the Dynamic Dorks are distracted and then the plan is in motion."

"But the odds of them being distracted are extremely low. Considering that there's only two of them sitting together." Gene said while adjusting his glasses.

"Oh, shoot. I forgot the napkins." Melissa said with a frown. "Be back in a sec, Lloyd." She said as she stood up and walked off.

"Well, I need to head to the restroom, so I'll be back as well." Lloyd said as he got up and headed to the bathroom.

"Huh, what do you know?" Chad said with a smirk as he lifted his tomato. "Well, time for the prank to begin." he said as he quickly rushed up to Melissa's tray and sneakingly placed the tomato into her lunch without being in seen as he quickly sat back to his chair with a chuckle. "Oh, this is gonna be good."

"Hey, wasn't there something else that I feel like we're forgetting about Melissa's allergies or something?" Brad asked while scratching his head.

"Huh, now that you mention it I do feel like we're forgetting something." Gene said in thought. "Also, didn't one of the Schools rules say that messing with someone's allergies is off limits?"

"Not that I recall." Chad said with a shrug. "I'm sure one simple itchy prank won't cause any harm."

"I guess you're right." Gene said with a shrug.

"Ssshh! Guys, guys, here they come!" Brad told them.

The three boys watched as Melissa and Lloyd returned to their seats as Melissa looked at her lunch as she moved her tray close to her while the three boys snickered while trying to keep their laughter from noticing.

Melissa then took a bite out of her sandwich and chewed for a little bit before stopping as her eyes widened to which Lloyd noticed. "Melissa, are you okay?" He asked in confusion.

Melissa looked at her sandwich before moving the bread and when she did her eyes widened in horror when she saw a tomato in her sandwich. "Tomatoes…" She muttered in horror as she dropped her sandwich in shock before she felt her throat swelling up as she started struggling to breath.

"Melissa? What's wrong?" Lloyd asked in worry as Melissa fell down, which made Lloyd panic. "Melissa!" He called out as everyone saw this as they gasped in worry while Chad, Gene, and Brad looked in shock at what just happened.

"Wait a minute, I just remembered something." Brad said in realization. "Melissa said that if she eats a tomato her throat will swell up, and if that happens then that means…."

"Oh man! What have we done!" Gene exclaimed in horror.

"I-I thought she would just have an itchy throat!" Chad exclaimed in panic.

"Help! Somebody help! Please!" Lloyd called out while Melissa struggled to breathe.

Just then a skeleton with a straw hat entered the cafeteria after hearing the commotion before seeing Melissa on the ground struggling to breath. "What happened?!" He asked.

"I don't know!" Lloyd said worriedly before spotted something on the ground which made his eyes widened in shock and horror, a tomato piece with a bite taken out of it. "Oh no, Melissa accidentally ate a tomato! She's severely allergic to them, if she eats one her throat will swell up and have a bad allergic reaction, if it's not treated she could die!" He exclaimed as everyone in the classroom looked shocked hearing that while Chad, Brad and Gene were watching in shock and huge guilt for doing that to her.

"Where's her EpiPen?" Wyplash asked.

"B-Ba-Bag…. Bag." Melissa heaved while clutching her neck while gesturing to her bag.

The skeleton saw Melissa's bag and dug through it for a bit before grabbing the EpiPen and slammed it onto Melissa's throat and when he did Melissa took a gigantic deep breath, which she flung up as she looked around.

"I'm okay! I'm okay" Melissa called as she took heavy breathes. "I hate that reaction." She muttered while rubbing her neck.

"Oh thank goodness you're okay Melissa." Lloyd said with huge relief glad that his best friend is okay.

"But how did a tomato get in my food?" Melissa asked while looking at the tomato piece. "The cafeteria has a list of everyone's allergic reactions."

"I don't know." Lloyd said as he helped her up. "I mean, we may be in an evil school, but even the cafeteria isn't that evil."

The skeleton looked at the tomato piece before looking at the students until he saw the nervous looks on Chad, Brad and Gene's faces while the three boys tried to sneak away from the commotions. "Ahem!" He cleared his throat which caused the three boys to stop in their tracks. "Boys, do you three know anything about this?" He asked in a stern tone.

"Uh, no, no, Mr. Wyplash, sir!" Chad said while shaking his head.

"Yeah, it's not like we waited until Lloyd and Melissa left and snuck a tomato into her food." Brad said before blocking his mouth realizing what he just said.

"Dude, really?" Gene asked with a look.

"You what?!" Lloyd asked with a shocked look.

"You three did this?!" Melissa yelled with a look.

"Report to the principal's office, now." Wyplash said with a look to the three boys, who nodded in fear as they walked out of the cafeteria as Wyplash turned to Lloyd and Melissa. "Sorry about those three. They clearly forgot about the rules."

"Well the next time I see them, then they are gonna give them all a knuckle sandwich!" Melissa exclaimed in anger before slamming her fists.

"I like your style, kid." Wyplash said with a smirk. "But just to be on the safe side, watch over your lunches before eating them."

"After what just happened, I will." Melissa said with a nod.

"And how about for now on, we go outside and eat, away from the bullies" Lloyd suggested as Melissa agreed as Wyplash sighed as he walked off, knowing that the two had learned to never leave their food unprotected.

A/N: And that is the first short, and it is based on what Melissa said in Once Bitten Twice Shy, when she said that Chad put Tomatoes in her food as a prank, but apparently that prank went wrong just as Melissa said, I hope you all enjoy reading this, leave a review and tell me what you think.
