Teen Titans Unleashed

Spoiler: In this chapter I'll introduce two of my own original characters that will be honorary Titans. Their powers are interesting and somewhat unique. I'm sure some of you will like them.

Slow and Steady

It was a bright and sunny day in Jump City as people walked the streets, but then they ran to the sidewalks in fear. Three vehicles came speeding down the streets at dangerous speeds as they seemed to be racing each other. It was Johnny Rancid on his motorcycle, Ding Dong Daddy in his car, and Adonis driving his high-tech car.

Ding Dong Daddy was driving in the middle as he happily said, "Street racing's always good when you got speed a speed demon."

Johnny Rancid smiled evilly as he said, "You got that right!"

Robin suddenly drove up next to Johnny Rancid on his R-Cycle as he yelled, "Pull over!"

Cyborg drove behind Ding Dong Daddy in the T-Car with a serious expression, then Adonis heard a loud thump sound. He looked in his left sideview mirror to see Beast Boy chasing him as a T-Rex as he came close to him roaring ferociously. Adonis easily sped up and avoided Beast Boy's jaws before Beast Boy's raised his head and smashed a traffic light as they passed an intersection.

Adonis kept driving while gloating, "Sorry slow poke! You bit off more than you could chew!"

Johnny Rancid then transformed to his demonic form and aimed his blade-like weapon at Robin before shooting red bolts at him.

Robin dodged them but realized he couldn't keep it up, then he broke the fourth wall and said, "Don't try this at home kids."

He stood up on his motorcycle and jumped off it just as Johnny Rancid shot it and made it crash; Robin shot his grapple and swung to the ground. He safely landed on his feet and watched everyone pull away from him while Ding Dong Daddy pushed a button in his car and created an oil slick that made Cyborg lose control of the T-Car. He stopped while the bad guys speeded away, Beast Boy could not keep up with them as a T-Rex, but Starfire and Raven flew over them as they chased the bad guys in the air. They were gaining on them but then Johnny Rancid fired red bolts from his blade and knocked Raven out of the air as she cried in pain. Starfire then threw a few starbolts at them but they swerved to avoid them and kept driving forward with dangerous speed. Starfire came close to them as she approached Johnny Rancid and prepared to attack his motorcycle but he saw her. He shot a few at Starfire but she dodged every bolt before she prepared to shoot her eyebeams, only to be shot in the face by a red bolt. She was blasted back as she cried in pain and recovered in the air as she floated and watched them drive away from her.

Johnny Rancid smiled at her as he arrogantly gloated, "You're fast red, but you can't keep up with us!"

Suddenly a red and yellow flash zoomed past the three vehicles, which startled them as they made sounds of surprise. Then an orange and red flash zoomed in front of them repeatedly, scaring them as they swerved to avoid crashing. Then a red beam of heat collided with extremely cold air, creating a massive fog bank that engulfed the road. Johnny Rancid, Ding Dong Daddy, and Adonis could not see anything through the fog so they all pulled over.

Adonis got mad as he angrily asked, "What's going on here?!"

They saw two flashes zoom by, prompting Adonis to push a button and transform his car into his battle-suit. He then used the vents on his chest to blow away all the fog and clear the road so that they could see everything. They saw Kid Flash standing in front of them with a smile, and to his right stood Bolt, and to his left stood two young men who looked to be the same age as Cyborg. They appeared to be twins and were tall with muscular builds and they both wore costumes that matched but were different. One wore a costume with a red shirt, red pants, and a red mask, but he had black tights, black gloves, black boots, and a black collar; and he had a big black dot on his chest with a red "H" in it. The other young man had a similar costume but instead of red the parts of his costume were blue, and he had a blue "C" in the black dot on his chest.

They all smiled at the villains while the Titans joined and Robin surprisedly said, "Kid Flash?!"

He smiled proudly as he said, "Thought we'd lend a hand."

Adonis angrily asked, "What do you wimps want?!"

Kid Flash smiled sassily and said, "Well we'd like a race, but we could probably beat you guys in our sleep."

Adonis and Johnny Rancid glared daggers while Ding Dong Daddy smiled deviously and said, "Well if you kids want to fight we'll give you one."

He pushed a button in his car and it transformed into a large bulky robot with huge feet, a large right hand, and a powerful cannon for the left hand. Two of the wheels were on the chest of the robot, but it had no head as Ding Dong Daddy controlled it from a cockpit.

Cyborg was somewhat impressed as he said, "Didn't know his car could do that!"

Ding Dong Daddy smiled proudly as he said, "I got a new upgrade!"

Kid Flash was not deterred as he turned to Bolt, then the twins while he said, "I'll handle Daddio. Bolt you take Rancid. Hot, Cold, you guys got Adonis."

They all nodded while the twins shouted, "Got it!"

They started fighting each of the bad guys while the Titans watched with interest; Kid Flash zipped in front of Ding Dong Daddy, who tried to crush him with his left arm. Kid Flash easily dodged it as he smashed the ground and then made two more craters as he tried to smash Kid Flash again. Kid Flash smiled smugly as he dodged both attempts before Ding Dong Daddy fired his cannon, but Kid Flash dodged it. He then ran around Ding Dong Daddy in a circle, creating a tornado that made Ding Dong Daddy lose balance as the wind started to lift him off the ground. He then used his arm to grab the pavement, digging the fingers into it and stayed on the ground with his legs in the air. Kid Flash stopped running and the tornado dissipated and Ding Dong Daddy fell to the ground, he started to get up but Kid Flash ran to the robot's legs. He placed his hands on both legs and vibrated them with his superspeed, causing both legs to explode, preventing Ding Dong Daddy from getting up.

He was shocked as the explosion knocked his robot forward, then Kid Flash got in front of him and said, "Hope you know a good mechanic."

Adonis faced the twins as he demanded, "Who are you wimps?!"

The one in the red suit introduced himself and his brother as he said, "I'm Hot, he's Cold."

Cold smiled eagerly as he said, "We're twins and we're gonna give you double trouble!"

Adonis smiled evilly as he pounded his fist and said, "Good, I can kill two birds with one stone!"

He yelled in fury as he put his hands together and tried to smash them, only for them to split up and get on opposite sides of him. Hot shot heat vision at Adonis but he shielded himself with his arm, and the heat vision had little effect on his armor. Behind Adonis, Cold took a deep breath before blowing a blast of his cold icy breath at him, forming ice over the back of his battle-suit. Adonis saw this and shattered the ice before transforming his left arm into its laser cannon and firing an orange blast at Cold. He narrowly dodged it and then Hot jumped on Adonis' back and grabbed the sides of his head before Adonis shook him off. Hot landed next to Cold and they both ran at Adonis with blazing speed before jumping at him and then they both kicked him and knocked him back. He fell down but got back up and revved up the wheels in his feet before skating toward them at the speed of a racecar. They jumped out of the way and he stopped before he lifted up a car and threw it at them; Cold planted his feet and held his hands up as he caught the car over his head. He grunted in pain and discomfort as he struggled toe hold it, but then Hot joined him and helped him as they both put the car down. Adonis smiled evilly as he used the vents on his chest like a vacuum and sucked up a lot of air, pulling Hot and Cold toward him.

He grabbed them both in each hand and gloated, "Maybe you two should put your heads together!"

He then pulled them back and slammed them together, but when he slammed them together a bright white light shined as something happened. Adonis shielded his eyes, as did the Titans, and when the light went out they were all shocked by what they saw. Hot and Cold had fused together into a two-headed person; their pants were red while their shirt was blue, but their respective masks were still the same color. The black dot on their chest had the blue "C" and the red "H" in that order, and the black collar had two neck holes for each of them.

Beast Boy was amazed as he said, "Dude!"

Raven was surprised as she commented, "That's one way to put your heads together."

They smiled proudly with their fists on their sides as they proclaimed, "Hot and cold two heads are better than one!"

They ran at Adonis, who was still in shock, and they jumped at him and punched him, sending him crashing into a streetlight.

He got up and defiantly said, "Big deal! Now you're twice the wimps you were before!"

He skated toward them at highspeed while they ran with greater speed, and he ignited his left elbow thruster and tried to punch them. They dodged it and tackled him to the ground before he threw them off, but they got up and turned to him. He tried to punch them three times but they swiftly dodged every attack before they punched him several times with great strength. They finally lifted him up and ripped his armor open and pulled Adonis out as he passed out, then Hot and Cold separated and did a fist bump.

Meanwhile Bolt faced Johnny Rancid as he sat on his motorcycle and taunted, "You're gonna beat me? You don't even have real legs!"

Starfire gasped shock at the offensive remark, but Bolt had her hands on her hips as she said, "At least I don't need training wheels."

Johnny Rancid glared daggers as he aimed his blade at her, but she moved her left arm in a circle at superspeed, creating a powerful blast of wind that blew it out of his hand.

Starfire then curiously asked, "Should we assist her?"

Johnny Rancid then angrily drove his motorcycle toward Bolt, but she rapidly pounded her right bionic leg on the ground like a jackhammer. She created a small earthquake that made Johnny lose control of his bike and get it stuck in a small fissure.

Robin smiled confidently as he said, "I think she's got it covered."

Bolt then ran at him with her superspeed before jumping forward, then she used her hands to vault toward Johnny Rancid and kicked him in the face. He fell to the ground unconscious while Bolt landed on her feet with a victorious smile on her face as the Titans cheered for her and the others.

They then went over to them as Cyborg smiled at Bolt and commended, "Nice hustle little speedster."

Starfire smiled with her hands together as she floated next to Bolt and said, "Agreed! Glorious triumph!"

Bolt smiled proudly as she said, "Thanks, people always underestimate my fancy footwork."

Robin walked up to Kid Flash with a pleasantly surprised expression as he said, "Nice job."

Kid Flash smiled as he held his right hand up to introduce Hot and Cold as he said, "Thanks, but I can't take all the credit. I had a little help from my friends. Meet Hot and Cold."

They both smiled eagerly as they ran around the Titans before fusing together while Hot said, "Hey! He brought us in quick! We like to fight together as one to double the power!"

They separated as Cold pointed his thumb at his brother then they stood back-to-back with their arms folded while he said, "Yeah! He brings the heat and I chill things out! We're inseparable!"

The Titans looked at Kid Flash while a question mark appeared over them, and a diagram was behind him as he explained, "They're both really fast and strong, Hot has heat vision, Cold breathes icy breath, and they can fuse together. When fused together they're twice as strong and fast, they can run at like 90mph and they're strong enough to lift a bus."

Beast Boy smiled as he said, "Sweet!"

Robin then curiously said, "Not that we don't appreciate the help, but what are you doing here?"

Kid Flash then showed a serious expression as he answered, "We've got a problem and we need your help."

They were all surprised as they glanced at each other before looking back at him, then Beast Boy asked, "Can I drive the T-Car?"

Cyborg strictly said, "No! You still need to pay off your last ticket."

They went back to Titans Tower where Hot and Cold excitedly explored it with wonder and amazement.

Hot and Cold looked around the main room in awe as Hot said, "Nice crib!"

Cold agreed as he happily said, "This place is awesome!"

The Titans were sitting on the couch while Kid Flash stood in front of them and Bolt stood to the far left, and the monitor showed a picture of a prison on fire.

Kid Flash looked back at the Titans as he held a remote and explained, "A few days ago there a prison break back home and a bunch of my bad guys managed to escape. I managed to help put most of them back in lockup but some of them escaped and left Central City. I met up with Bolt, Hot, and Cold started searching for them and we managed to track some to here."

Robin seriously asked, "Are they here to just hide, or do they have something planned?"

Kid Flash honestly replied, "Not sure, but I don't think I want to wait and find out."

Cyborg suspiciously asked, "How many bad guys we talking about?"

Raven also warily asked, "And which ones?"

Kid Flash pushed a button on the remote, causing the screen to show five pictures as he said, "Five of them: Golden Glider, Magenta, Girder, Heat Wave, and Tar Pit."

Magenta was young teenage girl roughly the same size and build as Starfire, she wore a silver and purple costume with a purple mask and cape, and she had shoulder-length dark purple hair. Girder appeared to be a muscular man with broad shoulders, seemingly made of orange metal with dreads and a beard made of what looked like steel wool, he only wore green pants and black boots. Heat Wave was a muscular man in a white suit with orange goggles, gloves, boots, and a belt, and he wore a metal device over his torso, with a round opening over his chest. Tar Pit was a humanoid monster made of tar, he somewhat resembled Plasmus' original appearance but with shorter arms, bigger legs, and broader shoulders, and he was black with orange lines and eyes.

They stared at the screen as Beast Boy commented, "Tough bad guys."

Bolt walked up next to Kid Flash as she looked at the Titans and said, "You guys know this town better than we do, so we'd like your help."

Starfire immediately floated to her as she said, "Yes! We would be most thrilled to assist you!"

The others stood up as Robin asked, "How can we help?"

Hot and Cold joined them as Kid Flash pointed at them, then Bolt, while he said, "You can help us cover more ground in searching for them. Even with my speed, looking for five people in this city is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Hot and Cold aren't nearly as fast as me; Bolt is but she can only run like half as long as me before recharging."

Starfire sympathized for Bolt while Beast Boy curiously asked, "So what do we do?"

Robin had a clever smile on his face as he said, "I've got an idea."

Sometime later, Robin and Kid Flash were working at the computer as they scanned reports for anything that might be a clue. As they worked Raven was reading a book while Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Starfire socialized with Hot, Cold, and Bolt. Cyborg and Beast Boy happily talked with Hot and Cold by the counter as Beast Boy took a sip of a drink from his mug.

Bolt walked up to Cyborg and asked, "You got any soy chips around here?"

Cyborg pointed his finger as he said, "On top of the fridge."

She looked and spotted a bag of chips and said, "I see them."

She was about to get them when Starfire suddenly flew in front of her and politely said, "Please! Allow me!"

She then flew to the bag and brought them back to Bolt so she didn't even have to move and then opened the bag for her.

Bolt took the bag and said, "Uh… Thanks."

She started eating the chips while Starfire stared down at Bolt's bionic legs for a moment before looking away, but Bolt noticed her stare. Cyborg watched with a nervous expression as he knew what Starfire was doing wrong and how it would not end well.

She smiled as she gently kicked her left leg out and said, "I know it's hard to not stare at them, but they are pretty cool."

Cyborg turned to her as he smiled and commended, "Yeah, you really showed some leg out there!"

Beast Boy smiled as he joked, "Yeah! You got some real chicken legs."

Nobody laughed at his joke but Bolt did smile as she accepted the compliment and Starfire politely said, "Yes, they are truly impressive."

Bolt smiled at her as she honestly said, "Thanks, I have to admit, when I first lost my real legs I thought my life was over, but then I got these and now I'm better than ever."

Cyborg smiled as he gently punched her arm and agreed, "I know what you mean."

Beast Boy smiled excitedly as he jerked his arms around while he exclaimed, "Yeah! You were just zooming buy and then you jumped at Johnny and kicked him off like…"

He then accidentally knocked his mug off the table and it broke, causing Cyborg to shout, "Beast Boy!"

Beast Boy then guiltily said, "My bad."

Raven kept reading her book as she said, "Yeah, as usual."

Beast Boy put his hands on his sides as he looked at her with an offended expression and said, "Hey! What's that supposed to mean?"

Raven looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she brutally honestly said, "Usually when something breaks its your fault, especially on missions. Like that traffic light."

Beast Boy defensively argued, "I was chasing Adonis and that light was in my way!"

Cyborg picked up the pieces of the mug before he respectfully said, "Yeah but turning into a T-Rex wasn't your best idea. You could've turned into something smaller and faster."

Beast Boy turned from him to the others as he defensively said, "I'm not the only one around here who smashes stuff. You guys do it a lot when we're fighting bad guys. Remember last week when we fought Shapeless and Blister?"

Raven looked at him over her shoulder as she said, "True, but you do cause more damage than the rest of us usually. You're like a bull in a China shop."

Beast Boy was insulted as he argued, "I can totally beat a bad guy without breaking anything!"

Raven smirked deviously as she stood up and asked, "How about a bet?"

Beast Boy then smiled competitively as he said, "Bring it on!"

Raven walked up to him with a competitive grin as she said, "I bet you can't make it through a whole mission without breaking anything or causing any collateral damage."

Beast Boy had a sinister grin as he pointed at her and said, "Okay. If I win you have to kiss me on the lips."

Everyone was interested as they stared with big juicy smiles as Bolt said, "Ooooh!"

Raven agreed as she kept smiling competitively as she pointed at him and said, "Fine, but if I win, you have to do what I want for a whole day."

Beast boy held his hand out as he said, "Deal."

They shook hands to officially begin their bet while the others watched with interested smiles while Beast Boy and Raven kept smirking at each other.

Kid Flash zoomed over to Cyborg and curiously whispered, "So how do you think this is gonna go?"

Cyborg smiled knowingly as he said, "Smart money's on Raven."

They all turned to Robin as he suddenly shouted, "Titans! I've got something!"

They all hurried to him as he typed on the computer and said, "Reports have come in of sightings of a strange creature made of tar in the industrial district."

Hot clinched his fist as he said, "Tar Pit!"

Raven looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she sarcastically said, "No. You think?"

He scowled while Bolt urgently said, "He could lead us to the other villains, we gotta catch him!"

Robin immediately stood up as he confidently said, "Don't worry! We won't let him get away!"

Starfire agreed as she assured, "Yes! We will capture him and all of the others! Let us go!"

They all hurried out and left the Tower, but Cyborg quickly grabbed Starfire and said, "Star, try and be careful with how you treat Bolt."

Starfire smiled as she said, "Do not worry Cyborg. I will be sure to help her in any way I am able to."

She flew off and Cyborg shook his head at her not listening before running after her; later in the city, Tar Pit was attacking a lab facility as workers ran away in terror. Tar Pit grinned as he watched them run before turning to the conveyor belts where circuit boards were being made with a devious smile on his face.

He kept smiling as he said to himself, "Merry Christmas to me!"

He started walking until Kid Flash zipped in front of him with a sly smile as he said, "Aww, did Santa give you a lump of coal?"

Tar Pit immediately became enraged as he said, "What?! You?!"

Kid Flash smiled cockily as he said, "Yep, surprised to see me?"

Tar Pit's angry expression turned to an arrogant smile as he said, "Yeah but you're pretty stupid trying to take me on all by yourself."

Kid Flash smiled slyly as he said, "Who said I'm by myself?"

Hot and Cold jumped down next to him, fused together, and Bolt zipped up next to him in a flash of lightning.

The rest of the Titans then joined the group as Beast Boy joked, "Hey guys look! It's the Tar Monster!"

He laughed at his joke while Tar Pit angrily said, "It's 'Tar Pit' veggie burger!"

Cyborg pounded his fist as he said, "Whatever! We're still gonna kick your butt all the way back to Central City! You can't take us all on your own!"

Tar Pit smiled deviously as he said, "Who said I'm on my own?"

Suddenly Cyborg started floating in the air as he shockingly said, "What?! Hey!"

He was then hurled at a wall and the others watched him while Beast Boy and Starfire hurried to help him. He got up and they were shocked as Magenta floated in with an evil grin as she moved her hands and made some metal machines float in the air. Then they heard a crash and Girder came as he smashed through a wall with an evil grin and joined Tar Pit. A fireball was launched at the Titans but Raven blocked it with a small shield of her black magic, and the fireball exploded against it. They were shocked as Heat Wave joined the group of villains as he clinched his fists and grinned maliciously. Finally, Golden Glider's astral form flew through a wall as she floated next to Magenta and smiled evilly while all the Titans stared in shock.

Golden Glider smirked as she said, "We had a feeling you'd get your little friends to help you out, so we figured safety in numbers."

Hot smiled overconfidently as he said, "Perfect! This saves us a lot of time!"

Cold agreed as they pounded their shared fist as he said, "Now we can beat them all at once!"

Beast Boy smiled as he nodded and pointed his left finger while he said, "Yeah! There's still nine of us and five of you!"

Magenta smiled deviously as she said, "Who said it's just five of us?"

Beast Boy's eyes widened as he glanced around and asked, "Hey do you guys hear something?"

Raven was annoyed as she said, "No."

Beast Boy kept looking around, concerning Cyborg as he looked at a screen in his arm and said, "Hold on, I'm picking up a faint sonic frequency."

Kid Flash immediately became nervous as he asked, "Sonic?"

Suddenly a bunch of rats swarmed into the lab as they squeaked and then the others started to hear a noise.

Robin glared suspiciously as he said, "I hear flute music!"

Tar Pit, Girder, and Heat Wave stepped aside to reveal a mysterious sixth villain who was playing a shiny high-tech flute. He had tan skin and wore a dark green and grey costume with a green hood, boots, and gloves while his shirt and pants were grey. He wore a special silver utility belt that had a green musical note on the front of it, and he wore green goggles over his eyes. He stopped playing the flute with an evil grin and then the rats all went scurried away while the Titans watched with surprise.

Kid Flash stared at the sixth villain in shock as he said, "Pied Piper?!"

He smiled evilly as he held his flute close to his mouth and gloated, "That's right boy, now it's time for you and your friends to face the music."

He started playing the flute again and then all the rats started swarming over the Titans as they started to freak out while knocking them off. He kept playing the music with an evil grin on his face while the five other villains watched behind him as they smirked.

Commercial break

The rats were climbing all over the Titans while they desperately tried to swat them away but they kept coming. Beast Boy then morphed into a tiger and roared, scaring the rats and causing them to scurry away in fear.

He changed back and Kid Flash smiled gratefully as he said, "Thanks Beast Boy."

They all looked at Pied Piper as he stopped playing his flute and said, "Clever boy, but you won't stop us that easily. Destroy them!"

Golden Glider's astral form flew past him toward the Titans alongside Magenta, and Tar Pit, Heat Wave, and Girder all charged at them.

Robin immediately pulled out his bo staff and charged forward while he exclaimed, "Titans go!"

Beast Boy morphed into a lion while he and the others charged forward and started fighting the other villains while Kid Flash, Bolt, Hot, and Cold faced Pied Piper. Beast Boy faced Tar Pit on his own while Raven floated in the air and fought Golden Glider, and Cyborg tried to fight Magenta. Starfire floated in the air with her eyes and fists glowing green as she fought Heat Wave while Robin faced Girder fearlessly. He swung his bo at Girder several times but his attacks had no effect on him, and Girder raised his fists over his head and tried to crush Robin. Robin dodged his fists as Girder only smashed the floor, creating a small crater before Robin threw a few Birdarangs at him. Girder knocked them away before he ran at Robin while yelling in fury, meanwhile Raven floated in the air as she battled Golden Glider. She flew at Raven, who created a small shield of her dark energy, but Golden Glider easily phased through it and punched Raven. She sent Raven flying before Raven recovered and then she shot bolts of black lightning from her hands ant hit Golden Glider.

She cried in pain before she looked at Raven in shock as she said, "That actually hurt me!"

Raven glared at Golden Glider as she fiercely said, "My powers can hurt you even without your body. Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"

She then shot a ray of her black magic at Golden Glider, who narrowly dodged it before she turned invisible. Raven sensed she was close as she looked around, then she was hit in the face by an invisible force and sent crashing through a window. She recovered and floated in the air as Golden Glider's astral form appeared in front of her as she smiled evilly. Meanwhile Beast Boy fought Tar Pit as he slashed his lion claws at him, but the scratches immediately healed as Tar Pit smiled evilly. Beast Boy then morphed into a gorilla and roared as he raised his fists over his head and slammed them down on Tar Pit, knocking him to the floor. However, Tar Pit got up and lifted the green gorilla and threw him off, sending him tumbling across the floor.

Beast Boy reverted to his human form as Tar Pit gloated, "Is that the best you can do?"

Beast Boy glared at him while getting up and said, "Yeah because my bet's on right now!"

He then morphed into a Therizinosaurus and slashed his claws at Tarmac, but he hardened his body into asphalt and Beast Boy's claws broke before Tar Pit punched him and knocked him down.

Beast Boy reverted to his human form and stared into space in exasperation as he said, "At least breaking my nails doesn't count in our bet."

Tar Pit then smiled evilly as the orange parts of his body started glowing and he rapidly threw flaming chunks of tar at Beast Boy. Beast Boy immediately turned into a hummingbird and flew around to avoid the flaming chunks of tar. Cyborg launched six missiles from his shoulders at Magenta, but she did not even flinch as she smiled sinisterly. She then held her hands out and used her magnetic powers to make the missiles change direction as they flew around her and back toward Cyborg. Cyborg screamed in fear as his normal eye bugged out and he jumped out of the way as they exploded against the ground. The explosion knocked Cyborg face down on the floor, but just as he got on his knees he started floating in the air as he let out cries of distress.

Magenta smiled arrogantly as she gloated, "Face it Tinman, you got nothing against me."

Cyborg grunted as he said, "Don't count on it!"

He activated the sonic blaster in his left foot and fired it at Magenta, blasting her out of the air as she cried and fell to the floor. Cyborg did the same but then he used his Jump Jets to launch himself toward her before he could hit the ground. She narrowly ducked and then glared at him as he tumbled across the floor before getting up and activating his left sonic cannon. Magenta threw her arms out and created a magnetic field that repelled Cyborg and knocked him down, then she held her arms straight out to her sides. She attracted several machines to her sides and made them float before throwing her arms out, sending the machines flying toward Cyborg. Robin dodged Girder's fists as he tried to smash him a few times, then Robin threw a flash bomb out, which momentarily blinded Girder as he groaned. Robin then threw an explosive disc out and it blasted him and knocked him down, but Girder got up and glared at Robin. He jumped high in the air and came plummeting toward Robin, who jumped out of the way before Girder slammed his feet on the floor, forming a small crater. Meanwhile, Starfire yelled in fury as she threw her arms out and fired a ray of her starbolt energy at Heat Wave, but he launched a fireball from his chest. It collided with the starbolt ray and caused a big explosion, then Starfire flew at Heat Wave and grabbed him as she lifted him off the ground. He smiled sinisterly before shooting a bunch of fire at Starfire's face, causing her to release him and stumble backwards. The ground was on fire as Heat Wave harmlessly walked through it and then moved his hands as he manipulated the flames.

Starfire stared in shock while he psychotically said, "Time to turn up the heat."

He then made the flames take the shape of four different fireballs which he made curve through the air before flying at Starfire. They all hit her and exploded against her as they knocked her around, despite doing little harm to her before she glared at Heat Wave. He then shot a blast of fire from the device on his chest while she flew straight up to avoid it before flying at him again, yelling in fury. Meanwhile, Kid Flash and his friends faced the Pied Piper as they surrounded him, though Pied Piper smiled deviously.

Kid Flash then demanded, "What are you doing here Piper?!"

Pied Piper kept smiling as he said, "Since you made things uncomfortable back home, I've decided to come here to perform a little concert."

Bolt stood in a fighting stance as she fiercely said, "Well we're going to turn down the volume!"

She ran at Pied Piper but he evilly pushed a button on his belt, and Bolt stopped as she collided into a sonic force-field surrounding him.

She fell to the ground, and Starfire cried, "Bolt!"

While she was distracted Heat Wave blasted her with a fireball and sent her crashing through a wall and flying out of the lab. Pied Piper deactivated his sonic force-field when Hot and Cold ran at him and jumped high as they prepared to punch him. He reached into his belt and threw out a device that hit them, creating a sonic blast that knocked them away as they cried in pain. Kid Flash ran past Pied Piper and punched him, but he got back up and glared as Kid Flash smugly grinned at him. He got back up as Kid Flash circled him at superspeed and created a small tornado, but Pied Piper pulled a weapon out of his utility belt. It was a handheld sonic blaster that he fired at the ground where Kid Flash was running, and he tripped and fell as he tumbled across the ground. He smiled evilly before he went to a machine and removed a cartage and started walking away while the other villains beat the other Titans. Robin jumped at Girder and yelled in fury as he tried to kick him, but Girder grabbed Robin's leg and threw him away, Robin hit the ground and passed out. Cyborg blasted his sonic cannon at a machine Magenta launched at him, and he destroyed it, but then another machine hit Cyborg and sent him crashing threw a wall. Beast Boy jumped in front of Tar Pit as a kangaroo and kicked him, but his feet got stuck in Tar Pit's body.

He could not get free as he reverted to his human form and smiled awkwardly saying, "Something tells me this happens to you a lot."

Tar Pit had a twisted smile as he admitted, "Yeah, you get used to it."

He then threw Beast Boy away and he turned into a falcon and flew through the air as Tar Pit created a giant flaming chunk of tar and threw it at him. Beast Boy dodged it and the flaming chunk of tar blasted a hole in the wall as Tar Pit angrily ran at Beast Boy. He jumped and grabbed the green falcon in his hands, but Beast Boy morphed into an elephant and broke free before hitting Tar Pit with his front legs. He then grabbed him with his trunk and threw Tar Pit out the hole in the wall, sending him into the streets outside. Tar Pit got up and saw Beast Boy turn into a hippo as he charged toward him, but when he came close Tar Pit lifted the green hippo and threw him over his shoulder. Beast Boy fell on top of a parked car and crushed it before reverting to his human form and groaning in pain while Tar Pit smiled victoriously and walked away. Above them, Raven kept fighting Golden Glider as she shot beams of her black magic at her, but Golden Glider dodged them. Raven started to concentrate her power as her eyes glowed white and her hands were covered in spheres of her black magic, while Golden Glider evilly stretched her ribbons from her astral body.

Raven was about to cast a spell as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion…"

She was interrupted as one of Golden Glider's ribbons gagged her mouth shut and her eyes stopped glowing white as she mumbled something. The rest of Golden Glider's ribbons ensnared Raven's arms and legs and bound them together as she restrained her. She desperately struggled but could not break free, she could not even move her fingers and was almost powerless.

Golden Glider smiled sadistically as she gloated, "Not so tough without your magic!"

She then whirled Raven high in the air before throwing her down to the ground, making her groan in pain before Golden Glider's ribbon tendrils retracted. She then flew back into the lab and returned to her body, which was hidden in a room, and she smiled evilly as she escaped.

She joined the others as they gathered around Pied Piper, who showed them the cartrage saying, "I have what we came for. Let's go."

Starfire returned and flew to Bolt as she started to get up and Starfire reached for her saying, "I shall assist you."

Bolt held her hand up as she got back on her feet and said, "I'm fine. Thanks."

Kid Flash got up along with Hot and Cold, then Starfire flew to help Robin up as he groaned in pain while getting on his feet. Outside, Cyborg helped Raven onto her feet and she nodded gratefully at him before they looked at Beast Boy as he sat up on the roof of the crushed car and let out a loud groan.

He then noticed the car underneath him and looked at Raven and Cyborg as he nervously asked, "Um… Does this…?"

Raven pulled her hood down as she honestly assured, "I saw it. That wasn't your fault, so you don't lose the bet, yet."

Robin and the others joined them outside as he asked, "Is everyone okay?"

Raven showed a blank expression as she honestly said, "We'll live."

Beast Boy rubbed his head in pain as he joined the group and said, "Those guys were tough, and who was that guy with the flute?"

Kid Flash showed a serious expression as he explained, "Pied Piper, another bad guy from Central City. He has enhanced hearing and he's brilliant with sonic technology."

Raven scowled Kid Flash as she said, "And you didn't tell us about him earlier because…?"

Kid Flash apologetically raised his hands and said, "I didn't know he was here! He wasn't one of the bad guys that escaped in the prison break. I didn't think we'd find him here."

Robin folded his arms as he seriously said, "Well it looks like the others are working for him. He must have something planned, but what?"

Magenta then flew over them with a twisted smile as she said, "You'll see soon! Bye Wally!"

Kid Flash blushed embarrassedly as Magenta flew away and Beast Boy smirked as he asked, "Wally?"

They all looked at him as he sheepishly confessed, "Yeah, that's my real name."

Cyborg, Beast Boy, Hot, and Cold all chuckled while Raven couldn't help but smirk at him, then Bolt asked, "How does she know your name?"

Kid Flash then rubbed the back of his head as he reluctantly answered, "I… kind of dated her a while back."

They were all shocked and Raven suspiciously cocked an eyebrow and asked, "Does Jinx know?"

He then waved his arms as he frantically answered, "NO!"

Bolt then seriously said, "Stay focused! We've got six bad guys with something big planned and we don't know what or where they're going!"

Robin agreed as he glanced at everyone and said, "She's right. We need to split up and search the city."

Starfire was the first to volunteer as she said, "I shall accompany Bolt."

Bolt scowled in exasperation while Cyborg pointed his right thumb at Hot and Cold saying, "I'll take the Siamese twins."

Raven pointed her thumb at Beast Boy before smirking at him as she said, "I'll go with Beast Boy, make sure he doesn't try to hide any accidents."

Beast Boy frowned while Robin nodded and looked at Kid Flash saying, "Then that just leaves you and me Wally."

A white puff of air came out of Kid Flash's mouth as he sighed in exasperation at his real name being used again. The nine heroes then split up and searched the city for the six villains; Cyborg drove through the streets in the T-Car while Hot and Cold happily road in the backseats, separated again. Kid Flash ran through other streets with his superspeed while Robin ran and jumped across rooftops, and Kid Flash moved slower than usual so Robin would stay with him. Beast Boy and Raven flew together over the city as they scanned the city below for any signs of the villains. Starfire flew through the streets with Bolt running beside her, Starfire was able to keep up with her but Bolt had to stop and recharge a few times.

Robin kept running as he pulled out his Communicator and said, "Titans, has anyone located any of the villains?"

Starfire was with Bolt when she stopped to rest and she replied, "Thus far Bolt and I have had no fortune in our search."

Raven kept flying with Beast Boy as she replied, "Same here."

Cyborg drove as he spoke into the screen in his right arm and said, "We got nothing either."

Robin kept running as he said, "Keep searching. When one of you finds something report."

They all hung up and Starfire turned to Bolt as she leaned up against an alley wall while catching her breath.

Starfire walked to her and smiled politely as she said, "Bolt, may I bring you some nourishment or refreshments?"

Bolt was annoyed as she looked away from Starfire and said, "No I'm fine!"

Starfire gently reached for her as she said, "But I only wish to…"

Bolt then turned to Starfire as she stubbornly snapped, "To help! I know! But I don't need your help! I can take care of myself!"

Starfire was shocked and somewhat baffled as she said, "Please, I am only trying to…"

Bolt angrily shouted, "I know what you think of me Starfire! 'Poor girl lost her real legs and now she needs fake ones!' I've heard it all before! I may be disabled but I'm not helpless!"

Starfire was shocked as she honestly said, "Forgive me. On my world such a condition would be considered a tragic disadvantage to be treated with utmost respect."

Bolt's expression softened slightly but she stubbornly said, "Well this isn't Tamaran! I can handle myself just fine!"

Starfire was somewhat hurt by her comments but she also felt guilty, suddenly she heard flute music and turned her head.

She raised her hand up to her ear and told Bolt, "Do you hear what I am hearing?"

Bolt listened and nodded as she said, "Loud and clear!"

She immediately took off running while Starfire flew after her and she spoke into her Communicator, "Robin, we have located the Pied Piper and are moving in to apprehend him."

Over the Communicator, Robin replied, "Got it Starfire! We're on our way!"

At the pizza place, Pied Piper was playing his sonic flute for a crowd of people who stared at him with hypnotized expressions.

He stopped playing and they all snapped out of their trances as he said, "Thank you all for coming. You've been a great audience."

The crowd then retreated just as Starfire and Bolt arrived, then the T-Car pulled up and Cyborg got out with Hot and Cold. Beast Boy and Raven flew down and landed as Beast Boy changed from a bird to his human form, and Kid Flash zipped in while Robin swung from a roof on his grapple.

Pied Piper smiled sinisterly as he said, "So kind of you to join us."

Robin glared at the Pied Piper as he demanded, "Where are the others?!"

He smiled slyly as he said, "Heat Wave, Tar Pit, Magenta, Golden Glider, and Girder are setting the stage for my big concert, I just thought I'd give you a small performance for what's coming."

Beast Boy smiled overconfidently as he pointed his right finger at Pied Piper and said, "So it's just you by yourself? Sweet! This will be a piece of cake!"

Kid Flash was wary as he held his arms straight out to his sides and warned, "No! He'd never do something that stupid! He's up to something!"

Pied Piper smiled maliciously as he said, "Smart boy junior. But now it's time to pay the piper."

He then started playing his sonic flute as he made strange music as Raven cluelessly said, "What? You're gonna make us sing?"

She the noticed Beast Boy had not said anything, which was unusual, so she looked and noticed him staring into space like a zombie.

She leaned sideways to look at him as she said, "Beast Boy, what's wrong with you?"

There was no response and then Cyborg noticed Hot and Cold staring into space with identical expressions. Kid Flash gasped in horror as he turned and saw Robin and Starfire staring forward like zombies as well.

Raven sensed something strange going with her empathic abilities as she nervously said, "Something's wrong here."

Cyborg felt she was right as he looked at the monitor in his right arm and detected certain frequencies as Pied Piper kept playing.

He narrowed his eyes as he said, "This isn't any ordinary music. There's some kind of sonic frequency playing too."

Kid Flash immediately became scared as he said, "No kidding!"

The Pied Piper grinned sinisterly while he kept playing and Beast Boy, Starfire, Robin, Hot, and Cold all said, "Time to pay the piper."

Everyone was spooked as the five of them stepped in front of them and glared at them as they looked like they were about to attack. Robin pulled out a couple of discs, Starfire floated with her eyes and fists glowing green, Beast Boy turned into a lion, and Hot and Cold fused.

Bolt was shocked as she asked, "What's going on?!"

Kid Flash stepped back as he explained, "It's Piper! He's hypnotizing them with his flute!"

Cyborg and Raven were horrified as Cyborg yelled, "Aww man!"

Beast Boy pounced toward Raven as she flew out of the way while shouting, "Try not to hurt them!"

Robin threw his discs at Cyborg and they shocked him with electricity as he cried in pain before falling down.

He got back up only to be kicked in the face by Robin, Cyborg got up and angrily said, "Tell them not to hurt us!"

Hot and Cold marched toward Kid Flash before they slammed their fists on the ground, causing a small earthquake that sent rubble up and knocked him back. He got up and ran out of the way when they ran at him and tried to smash him with both their fists, then Hot shot his heat vision. Kid Flash dodged it while Starfire shot her eyebeams at Bolt, who zipped to the side and narrowly dodged them. Starfire then flew at Bolt and tried to punch and kick her repeatedly while Bolt used her superspeed to avoid her attacks, though they came very close. Pied Piper smiled evilly as he watched them fight while he kept playing his flute to maintain his hypnotic control. Beast Boy flew at Raven as a Pteranodon and tried to peck her with his beak a few times but she dodged his attacks. She shot a small beam of her black magic at him and hit him, but he kept flying as he came at her and grabbed her in his feet. He dragged her down to the ground and dropped her before morphing into a sasquatch and roaring as he tried to smash her.

She protected herself with a force-field and got back up as she desperately said, "Beast Boy stop! It's me Raven!"

Beast Boy did not listen as he morphed into a Stegosaurus and turned around as he swung his spiked tail at her. She swiftly disappeared into the ground in a field of her black magic and rose back up as Beast Boy's spiked tail cut through a streetlight and knocked it down. Cyborg repeatedly tried to grab Robin who hit him with his bo, though it did not hurt Cyborg much as it knocked him around.

Cyborg raised his arm to block one attack as he said, "Come on Robin! You're smarter than this!"

Robin did not listen as he put on one of his electric brass knuckles and punched Cyborg, shocking him and knocking him down.

Cyborg got up and annoyedly said, "I forgot, you're too smart."

Hot and Cold kept trying to smash Kid Flash as he zipped around them, then he punched them and made them stumble back. Cold then took a deep breath and blew a blast of his cold breath down at the street, freezing ice over it and causing Kid Flash to slip and fall down.

He slid on his back before getting up as he commented, "You two must be popular in Winter and Summer."

He immediately zoomed to the side when Hot tried to hit him with his heat vision again, then he stopped behind them. Meanwhile Bolt ran at superspeed as she twisted and turned while Starfire rapidly threw starbolts at her. Bolt then ran at Starfire with her superspeed and kicked her, sending Starfire crashing into a parked bus. Bolt smiled until Starfire got up and lifted the bus and threw it at her; Bolt ran and dodged it before she circled Starfire. Starfire shot her eyebeams at Bolt four times but missed every shot as Bolt was too fast for her and kept circling her. As Bolt ran she built up static electricity and then she suddenly stopped and threw a lightning bolt at Starfire, shocking her and knocking her down.

Bolt then apologized, "Sorry Starfire."

Starfire immediately got back up and glared at Bolt, who became afraid as she worried that she might possibly be making her angry. Starfire then flew at Bolt and tried to smash her a few times while Bolt narrowly dodged her fists, and Starfire only smashed walls and concrete. Starfire shot rays of her starbolt energy and Bolt narrowly dodged them as they blew up nearby cars while she ran for her life.

Bolt kept running as Starfire shot her eyebeams and missed while Bolt yelled, "Somone do something! We can't keep this up!"

Bolt started to slow down as she panted and could not run much longer, when she slowed Starfire flew and grabbed her wrist. She floated a few feet off the ground and stared at Bolt with her eyes glowing green as she prepared to use her eyebeams.

Bolt fearfully looked at her as she commented, "I liked you better when you wanted to help me."

Beast Boy flew over Raven as a bird before changing into an elephant and almost fell on top of her before she flew out of the way. He landed on a car and crushed it while Cyborg was kicked in the face by Robin and knocked to the ground.

Cyborg then turned his head toward Kid Flash with a stressed expression as he yelled, "How do we snap them out of it?!"

Kid Flash dodged a punch from Hot and Cold before shouting, "We need to pull the plug on Piper! His flute!"

Hot shot his heat vision while Cold simultaneously blew his ice breath, and when combined they created a massive fog bank that engulfed the street. Kid Flash became worried when suddenly they grabbed him and restrained him in a bear hug as he grunted in pain. In the fog Cyborg looked around before he was hit by an explosive disc and knocked down when Robin pinned him to the ground with his bo. Raven stood as she searched the fog for Beast Boy, but he slithered behind her as a python and swiftly climbed up her leg and coiled her whole body, restraining her arms. He squeezed tightly to suffocate her as she struggled to breathe and saw the fog clear as she spotted Pied Piper.

Despite difficulty breathing, Raven focused all her power as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos."

Pied Piper's flute was encased in her black magic and floated out of his hands as he expressed shock and watched it. Suddenly it was shattered to pieces and the hypnotized Titans stopped everything as their senses returned. Hot and Cold released Kid Flash while Robin stepped away from Cyborg with a dizzy expression, Starfire's eyes stopped glowing as she dropped Bolt, and Beast Boy turned human. He was confused but then noticed he was hugging Raven in an awkward position as she stared at him uncomfortably at him and he let her go and smiled nervously.

Pied Piper was not deterred as he pointed at them and said, "Not bad kids, but that was just the opening act! The whole city will love the main event!"

He turned around and made his escape while the Titans were still confused and recovering from the shock of what happened.

Beast Boy confusedly looked at Raven and said, "What happened?"

Cyborg walked up to them as he answered, "We'll tell y'all back at the Tower."

Shortly after, Pied Piper made his way to a telecommunications building and glanced around to make sure he wasn't followed. He snuck around the back door and silently made his way up the stairs before reaching the roof of the building. He came out of the door and walked to the base of a transmitter tower, where Tar Pit, Girder, Magenta, Heat Wave, and Golden Glider were waiting for him.

Magenta smirked as she snidely asked, "So how'd it go?"

He scowled as he walked toward them and complained, "Young people these days have no taste in music!"

Tar Pit glared at him as he said, "So the Titans didn't take out the speedsters?!"

Pied Piper walked to a computer terminal they had set up and plugged into the tower as he started typing.

While he did this he bitterly replied, "It didn't work on the robot or the witch girl. She even destroyed my flute!"

Golden Glider leaned toward him as she urgently asked, "So they stopped your song and you just ran off?!"

He looked at her as he said, "I was no match for all of them on my own, especially without my flute! Now let me work! I have much to do!"

Commercial break

The Titans were gathered in the main room of the Tower, resting and eating and drinking to regain their strength. Raven, Cyborg, Kid Flash, and Bolt had already told them about how Pied Piper hypnotized them and forced them to fight them. Hot and Cold were sitting together on the couch as they ate some chips while Kid Flash ate a sandwich and Bolt ate a hotdog. The others weren't eating much as Beast Boy sat with Raven on the other side of the couch while Robin, Cyborg, and Starfire stood in front of them, taking everything in.

Robin had his arms folded with a shamed expression as he said, "I still can't believe Pied Piper hypnotized us."

Cyborg stood up and wiped some dust off himself as he said, "He used his flute to play a musical sonic frequency that put you guys under his control."

Robin was shocked as he stared into space and said, "I remember hearing his weird music, then it's just a big blank!"

Raven looked at him out of the corner of her eye as she said, "Sounds like you."

Hot glanced at Raven, Cyborg, Kid Flash, and Bolt as he curiously asked, "How come you guys weren't hypnotized?"

Cold shared his curiosity as he said, "Yeah. Why were we the only ones?"

Raven looked at them before turning to Kid Flash and Bolt while she honestly answered, "Well Cyborg's immune to mind control, and my mind's too powerful for that, but I'm not sure why it didn't work on Bolt or Kid Flash."

Kid Flash smiled proudly as he bragged, "Because of our speed."

A question mark appeared over Beast Boy's head as he said, "Huh?"

Kid Flash kept smiling as he explained, "Pied Piper's tried to hypnotize me with his flute before, but it doesn't work on me. Moving faster than the speed of sound helps my tune out things I don't want to listen to, and since Bolt is connected to the Speed Force too, it's the same with her."

Starfire was intrigued as she curved her left finger near her face in thought as she said, "Interesting. Perhaps you could teach me this technique?"

Bolt shrugged as she said, "Maybe."

She smiled and nodded while Robin smiled and gratefully said, "Well, thanks for snapping us out of it."

Beast Boy smiled before turning to Raven with a curious expression while he said, "Yeah! Um… Raven… That damage I did while we were fighting…"

Raven stared forward with an honest expression before smirking competitively at him while she said, "Since you weren't yourself I'll let it slide, but don't think this means that our bet's off."

He sighed in relief before thinking about how they still had much work to do and then he showed a tedious expression.

He scowled her with an annoyed expression while Starfire concernedly asked, "We did not harm you, did we friends?"

Bolt waved her left hand as she solemnly said, "You came close, but it's okay. I'm just glad you're all back to normal."

Kid Flash agreed but warily said, "Me too, but something tells me this isn't even the worst of what Piper has planned."

Robin folded his arms with a serious expression as he agreed, "I have a feeling you're right."

Cyborg looked at Robin as he seriously said, "He mentioned his 'main event' having to do with the whole city."

Robin's eyes widened in shock before he narrowed them and said, "He's planning to hypnotize everyone in the city!"

Starfire, Beast Boy, Bolt, Hot, and Cold gasped in shock and horror as Kid Flash zipped in front of them and said, "You're right! He's gotta be planning to use his sonics to hypnotize the whole city and make them his army!"

Raven was somewhat confused as she asked, "But how? I destroyed his flute."

Robin pointed at Raven before going to the computer while he said, "True, but with the stuff he and the others stole from the lab, they could build a machine that could replicate his sonic frequency and spread it across the city!"

Starfire stood up with a determined expression as she said, "Then we must stop him before he completes his device!"

Bolt was frightened as she said, "I'm not sure I can help. Hypnotizing the five of you was bad enough, I don't know if I can handle a whole city!"

Cyborg walked to her with faith as he said, "Sure you can Bolt, we can't do it without you."

Bolt insecurely looked down at her legs as she said, "I don't know. I can't run as long as Kid Flash and my legs aren't like his. When I fought Piper before he beat me, and I could barely hold my own against Starfire when she was hypnotized."

Starfire showed a guilty expression while Cyborg solemnly said, "Trust me Bolt, I know how it feels to lose part of yourself and replace it with machines, but you only really lose when you give up. Your body may have it limits, but if you put your mind to it there's nothing you can't do."

Bolt was moved as she looked at him, then Starfire sincerely said, "Cyborg is correct Bolt. When I was under the Pied Piper's control you were able to survive long enough for Raven to break his control. You said that you are not helpless and you proved yourself right. Your legs provide you with abilities that Kid Flash lacks, perhaps if you move slower you can run longer and use your other abilities to defeat our enemies."

Bolt looked up in thought as she said, "Maybe, but…"

Cyborg smiled supportively as he gave her a thumbs up and said, "You can do it Bolt. We got your back."

Starfire smiled as she agreed, "Very true."

Bolt then smiled proudly as she stood up and said, "Okay! I'm in!"

Starfire cheered in delight before Beast Boy stood up and said, "Uh can I interrupt for a minute to say we still don't know where they are?"

Cyborg had a clever smile as he said, "I think I've got a pretty good idea where to look."

Sometime later, Pied Piper was typing on the computer terminal on the telecommunications building as he set the finishing touches. Golden Glider's astral form was floating next to Magenta as her body was hidden somewhere in the building and they watched Pied Piper work.

He smiled evilly as he said, "Yes! In five minutes my hypnotic song will control everyone in the city!"

Tar Pit then impatiently asked, "Why five minutes? Why not just do it now?!"

Piped Piper was annoyed as he said, "Because, the recording needs time to upload. Rome wasn't built in a day Tar."

They were all startled when they heard Kid Flash suddenly say, "Good, that gives us plenty of time to shut it off."

They all immediately turned to see Kid Flash and Bolt standing on the other end of the roof while the rest of the Titans rose up behind them on a platform of Raven's black magic. They stepped off and she and Starfire floated above the others as they all stared at the villains with heroic expressions.

Pied Piper leaned forward as he pointed at them and arrogantly smiled saying, "You're too late Titans! Soon my hypnotic sonic frequency will transmit from every television, phone, and computer in the city! The only way to stop it is with a five-digit code, and I'm not shutting it down! You'll all serve me!"

Kid Flash smiled cockily as he said, "Sorry Piper, it's time to face the music."

He zipped off while Robin held his hand out and desperately warned, "Kid Flash wait!"

He zipped over and punched Tar Pit and Heat Wave before stopping with a cocky smile, then he turned to Pied Piper behind him. Pied Piper smiled evilly as he promptly pulled out a sonic tuning fork that emitted a frequency that made Kid Flash cry in agony.

He then fell to the ground paralyzed as Pied Piper gloated, "You have a bad habit of running in too soon."

Girder then stepped over him with an evil smile as he raised his fists over his head and prepared to smash Kid Flash. Bolt zipped by and picked Kid Flash up and got him to safety before she gently put him down while the rest of the Titans prepared to fight. Magenta smiled evilly as she held her hand out and created a magnetic blast that knocked them all down as they fell on their backs.

She smiled arrogantly as she gloated, "Who says opposites attract?"

Bolt then jumped high over the villains and as she came down she raised both her legs with an eager smile on her face. When she came down she slammed both her legs on the roof at high-velocity, causing a tremor that shook the roof. Pied Piper, Girder, Heat Wave, and Tar Pit wabbled a bit before part of the roof collapsed underneath them and they fell into an office below. They fell on desks and other stuff while Magenta and Golden Glider watched in shock as Bolt smiled victoriously and jumped back onto the roof.

She kept smiling as she bragged, "Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith."

She then cried in distress as she was lifted in the air and turned upside-down as Magenta held her right hand out and used her magnetic powers to lift up Bolt's legs.

Magenta smiled evilly as she gloated, "You sure know how to break a leg!"

Suddenly Magenta was hit by a starbolt and screamed in pain as she was sent flying before Starfire flew and caught Bolt and gently placed her on the roof.

Bolt smiled gratefully as she said, "Thanks for the catch Starfire."

She smiled as she said, "I welcome you."

Golden Glider was about to attack them with her ribbon-like tendrils until she was hit by a blast of Raven's black magic and disappeared.

Beast Boy, Hot, and Cold were shocked as they simultaneously said, "Whoa!"

They looked up at Raven as she glared at where Golden Glider's astral form once was and said, "She's fine. Astral forms can't be destroyed so easily."

Robin then moved his arm to motion for everyone to move as he said, "Come on! We have to stop that machine!"

They all rushed over to the computer terminal by the tower and looked at the countdown before Cyborg pulled up the screen to input the code.

Hot pointed held his hand out as he said, "Why don't we just smash it?"

Cyborg stared at the screen as he seriously said, "Won't work. This thing's set on a wireless program with fail-safes that will automatically transmit in less than five minutes. The only way to shut it off is with the five-digit code like Piper said."

Beast Boy then typed the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 but the computer said, "Incorrect code."

Beast Boy was not surprised as he held his palm up and said, "It was worth a shot."

Hot and Cold shrugged in agreement before Robin seriously said, "Piper's the only one who knows the code, we need to make him tell us!"

Suddenly he was hit by a weak sonic blast and cried in pain as he was knocked down as Pied Piper aimed his handheld sonic blaster with an evil smile. Girder jumped back on the roof and attacked Hot and Cold while Tar Pit also jumped up and attacked Beast Boy as he tried to smash him. Magenta returned and lifted Cyborg up with her powers and repelled him onto another rooftop as he screamed in distress. Heat Wave got up and bent over as he shot fire from his chest to launch himself up, and crashed into Starfire as he tacked her to the roof. Golden Glider's astral form reappeared as she ensnared Raven with her ribbons and threw her away. Bolt and Robin remained as she helped him up and they both jumped down to Pied Piper before Robin pulled out his bo staff.

He glared daggers as he said, "You're going to tell us the shutdown code."

He smiled as he sarcastically asked, "Oh am I?"

He shot a sonic blast at them but they both dodged it as they separate and started fighting him while he smiled psychotically. Meanwhile Tar Pit tried to tackle Beast Boy but he morphed into a pigeon and flew over him as Tar Pit went falling down the side of the building. Beast Boy flew after him and followed him down; Tar Pit hit the ground and his body went splat but he reshaped himself back to his regular shape. Beast Boy flew down and morphed into a cheetah and ran toward him, but Tar Pit slammed his arms on the street and sent tar out, trapping Beast Boy's feet. Tar Pit evilly walked to him punched him, knocking him out of the tar as the cheetah fell down, then Beast Boy got up and turned into a sasquatch. He punched Tar Pit twice before grabbing him and throwing away as he tumbled across the ground, but got up, not deterred. Beast Boy morphed into a rhino and charged Tar Pit, but he smiled as he changed his body into a solid wall of asphalt that Beast Boy crashed through. Beast Boy changed to his human form with a dizzy expression before Tar Pit formed in front of him and heated his body up as the orange parts of his body glowed. He tried to grab Beast Boy but he screamed in fear and dodged them before turning into an ostrich and running away. Tar Pit then started throwing flaming chunks of tar at him, missing Beast Boy each time but blasting holes through parked cars and nearby walls.

Beast Boy then turned human and looked at the damage as he angrily said, "Okay that's it! I'm done with this!"

He then morphed into a Gigantopithecus and lifted a huge chunk of rubble and threw it at Tar Pit, breaking him, but he fixed himself.

He cooled off a little as he smiled evilly and said, "That's more like it! Show me what you got!"

He jumped at Beast Boy and tried to smash him but Beast Boy morphed into a bird and flew over him while dodging his fists. He flew over Tar Pit and then changed into an Apatosaurus and fell on top of Tar Pit, who's mouth gaped in shock. He smashed Tar Pit and smashed a hole in the street into the sewer before he changed into a bat and flew to the street.

Tar Pit climbed out of the sewer and onto the street as he groaned and said, "Okay, that's pretty good."

He prepared to fight again when he saw Beast Boy standing in front of him as a T-Rex, then he roared in his face while Tar Pit stared at him in shock. Meanwhile Cyborg lashed his left energy whip at Magenta but she dodged it before lifting him up with her magnetic powers and throwing him away. He got up angrily activated both his sonic cannons and blasted two sonic beams at her, but Magenta dodged them before holding her arms straight out. Cyborg had no control of his arms as he held them out and then Magenta moved her arms straight out to her sides, disconnecting Cyborg's arms and sending them falling off the rooftop.

She smiled evilly as she gloated, "Look! I've disarmed you!"

She then shot a magnetic blast that knocked Cyborg down as she floated over him with an evil grin, but he fearlessly glared at her. He secretly activated the thrusters in his arms as they started flying through the air before regrouping and flying together at Magenta from behind. They both fired their sonic cannons while flying and blasted her in the back as she cried in pain and slammed into the wall of a building. They reattached to Cyborg as he got up and shot his left hand out on a cable to catch Magenta when she started falling.

He reeled her in as she lost consciousness and he said, "So much for your magnetic personality."

He then heard a crash and turned to see Hot and Cold fighting Girder as he punched them and sent them crashing into the wall of a taller building. They got up and ran at him as he held his ground with his arms out and they locked hands and tried to overpower each other.

Girder kept glaring at them as he said, "You punks think you're strong enough to take me?! I'm stronger than both of you put together!"

Suddenly he was hit by an energy blast from Cyborg's chest and knocked through another wall before Cyborg jumped in and joined Hot and Cold. He saw Girder walk out and charge at him and then Cyborg ran at him and punched him in the face a few times, driving him backwards. Girder angrily grabbed Cyborg's fist and then slammed him around like a ragdoll before throwing him back toward Hot and Cold.

Girder then smiled arrogantly as he gloated, "Face it! You can't beat me!"

Cold showed a bit of worry as he said, "I hate to say it, but I think he's right."

Hot agreed as he looked at Cyborg and said, "Yeah, he's not just strong but fast too."

A lightbulb appeared over Cyborg's head as he smiled in delight before he slyly said, "Maybe we can slow him down. Cold, freeze him!"

Cold then blew his cold breath and formed a bunch of ice over Girder's body, leaving only his head free but he only smiled.

He arrogantly gloated, "You think this can stop me?!"

Cyborg smiled slyly before pointing his left finger at him while he said, "No, just get you ready. Hot heat him up!"

Hot used his heat vision to melt the ice and turn it into water as Girder's body was soaking wet and he started to rust and stiffen.

Girder struggled to move as he became stuck and yelled, "No! I can't move! I'm stuck!"

Hot and Cold both smiled victoriously as they said, "You're looking a little rusty Girder."

They happily high-fived Cyborg as he exclaimed, "Booyah!"

Meanwhile Robin and Bolt kept fighting Pied Piper as Robin threw his birdarangs at him, but Pied Piper pushed the button on his belt to activate his sonic force-field. The birdarangs were destroyed by the sonic force-field before Pied Piper deactivated it and fired his sonic blaster at Robin. He missed and destroyed a closet door, and Robin was shocked when he saw Golden Glider's body meditating inside the closet. He glanced up at Raven fighting Golden Glider's astral form in the sky overhead. He looked back at Pied Piper who prepared to shoot at him until Bolt zipped past him and hit him before stopping and smiling smugly.

He glared at her before he said, "Enjoy your speed while you can girl! You'll run out of gas soon enough!"

He fired his sonic blaster at her a few times but missed every shot as she zipped around and stopped each time.

She smiled as she taunted him and said, "I don't have to move at full speed to beat you."

Pied Piper grew angrier as he kept trying to shoot Bolt while she kept dodging, and Robin saw this opportunity to help Raven. He ran to Golden Glider's body and lifted it up as he slammed her against the wall, in the air Golden Glider had restrained Raven with her ribbons until she released her while crying in pain.

She looked down and saw Robin holding her body as she demanded, "Hey! Get your hands off my body!"

Raven suddenly floated behind her and her eyes glowed white as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"

She then threw her hands out and shot a ray of her black magic at Golden Glider's astral form, blasting her all the way back to her body. Her astral form re-entered her body and she opened her eyes, only for Robin to punch her in the face and knock her out. Robin then smiled as he gave Raven a thumbs-up while she smiled gratefully at him before looking down at Beast Boy fighting Tar Pit. Beast Boy was an Ankylosaurus as he swung his clubbed tail at Tar Pit and sent him crashing into a bus, but he got out and angrily lifted Beast Boy over his head and threw him through a wall. Beast Boy changed to his human form as he rubbed his head in pain when Tar Pit threw a flaming chunk of tar at him, only to be blocked by a wall of Raven's black magic. Beast Boy then smiled in delight as he spotted a fire extinguisher on a wall just as Raven joined him as she stared at Tar Pit while dropping her shield.

She looked at Beast Boy as she asked, "Need a hand?"

Beast Boy smiled as he quickly grabbed the fire extinguisher and said, "No I'm good."

Raven was shocked and confused as she stared at Beast Boy who smiled at her and said, "I saw this in a movie once."

Tar Pit then angrily came at both of them as he yelled in fury and prepared to attack them, but Beast Boy sprayed him with the fire extinguisher. Tar Pit was frozen solid as he turned into ice while Raven's eyes widened in shock and Beast Boy stopped with a proud smile.

He turned to her as she was speechless and said, "Nice job."

Meanwhile, Heatwave shot a big powerful fireball at Starfire, but she dodged it until he moved his arms and made the fireball follow her through the air. She kept flying away but stopped and threw a starbolt at it, making the fireball explode, and when the smoke shrouded her she flew at Heat Wave with superspeed. She grabbed him and punched him in the face, knocking him out, then she flew to help Robin and Bolt, who was busy with Pied Piper. Starfire stopped and floated in the air while watching, waiting to see if Bolt would need her help, but she would not interfere if she didn't.

Bolt dodged a few blasts from Pied Piper's handheld sonic blaster as he arrogantly gloated, "You can't run forever!"

She glared at him as she said, "I don't have to. I've got enough juice for one good sprint."

She then zipped at him with blazing speed as she grabbed him as a lightning bolt flashed and she grabbed him and pinned him to the wall. She hit him so fast he dropped his sonic blaster and she restrained his arms so he could not use any of his other sonic devices.

Starfire cheered with glee while Robin joined Bolt with a birdarang and demanded, "The shutdown code! Now!"

Pied Piper smiled evilly as he said, "You're too late!"

His device was going to transmit the signal in less than ten seconds, and Bolt did not have her speed to stop it in time.

Starfire swiftly flew behind Bolt and Starfire with her eyes glowing green as she threatened, "Tell us the code!"

Pied Piper was frightened as he caved in, and Starfire flew with superspeed and punched in the numbers for the code, successfully shutting off the device just one second before it could transmit the signal.

Robin was thrilled as he exclaimed, "Way to go Starfire!"

She smiled proudly while Bolt smiled with respect as she said, "Nice work Star."

They regrouped on the roof as Robin hugged Starfire, and then they were joined by Raven, Cyborg, Beast Boy, Hot, and Cold. They brought the unconscious Heat Wave, the rusted Girder, and the frozen Tar Pit with them to reveal their victory.

Kid Flash finally stood up and exclaimed, "I can move again! Yes! Way to go guys! You did it!"

Beast Boy smiled as he looked at the city and said, "We did it! We won!"

Raven walked up behind him with a smirk as she said, "Yes, but you lose our bet. Remember?"

Beast Boy immediately frowned as he whined, "Yeah, but I hoped you would forget."

Cyborg, Hot, and Cold all snickered while Raven smiled victoriously; they all went down to the ground and handed the villains over to the police.

They loaded them into a prisoner transport vehicle as Kid Flash smiled at the others and said, "Thanks for the help guys. We'll take them back to Central City."

Robin smiled proudly as he said, "Sure thing."

Starfire smiled sweetly as she said, "We are happy to be of assistance."

Bolt showed appreciation as she said, "Yeah, you were a big help."

The transport then drove off and Bolt, Kid Flash, Hot, and Cold ran off to escort it while the Titans watched with smiles on their faces. The next morning, Cyborg was happily laughing with Robin and Starfire as they watched Beast Boy fulfill his terms of his bet with Raven. She was sitting on the couch, barefoot, reading a book while Beast Boy was on the floor rubbing her feet. Raven had a comfortable smile on her face while Beast Boy had annoyed expression as his friends behind him kept laughing.

Cyborg cupped his mouth as he taunted, "Come on BB! Wait on your girl hand and foot!"

Beast Boy kept rubbing Raven's feet as he glared at them out of the corner of his eye, then Raven said, "After this I'll have a cup of herbal tea and a back massage after lunch."

Beast Boy rolled his eyes as he sarcastically said, "Yes Miss Raven."

Raven smiled as she glanced at him, suddenly Kid Flash came in with Bolt, then Hot and Cold separately came in.

Robin smiled as he said, "Guys, we didn't expect to see you again so soon."

Kid Flash had a friendly smile as he said, "We just wanted to tell you that Piper and the others are safely back in prison in Central City."

Cyborg smiled as he said, "Glad to hear it. Y'all wanna stay for lunch?"

Hot smiled as he happily said, "Thought you'd never ask!"

They ate lunch together as Robin commended, "Great job last night Bolt. You really showed Piper."

Starfire agreed as she sincerely said, "Agreed, you did excellent Bolt. I apologize for making you feel helpless yesterday."

Bolt smiled forgivingly as she admitted, "It's okay Star. Just because I'm not helpless doesn't mean I never need help."

Cyborg agreed as he proudly said, "You may not have your old legs, but you can still run better than any Olympic athlete."

She smiled proudly and after lunch the others smiled with amused expressions as they watched Beast Boy give Raven a back massage. She was laying on the table with her arms folded in front of her face as she smiled with her eyes shut as Beast Boy massaged her. Beast Boy scowled at the others while he kept massaging Raven and then they all snickered and walked out the door. He kept scowling the door until Raven said, "A little higher."

He did as she said and then she sighed in relaxation and said, "That's the spot."

She leaned her head against her right upper arm with a relaxed smile, and Beast Boy couldn't help but grin at how he was making her happy.

Author's note: I meant for this to be sort of like an afterschool special about how to treat handicapped people. I also got some ideas for Bolt after reading more about her online. I read in the comics she had limited connection to the Speed Force and could only sprint for short periods. I don't like the idea, but I used it as inspiration for a weakness. Kid Flash can't run at superspeed forever so he needs to rest and recharge, and Bolt running only half as long as him seems like a good choice. I also used it as a chance to show off what else she can do with her legs. Also, I hope you like Hot and Cold. I came up with them myself, twins with the power to fuse together into a two-headed person. I partially got the idea from Mas y Menos but with obvious differences. Imagine when separated they're like as strong as Spider-Man but fused together they're maybe as strong as Cyborg, and can run at 90 mph. I wanted to give each of them their own power that comes from the head, so it's still only theirs even when they're fused together. Please review.
