"What do you think our first mission should be?" Pierre asked the next morning as he and Jude walked down the street, on their way to the adventurer's outpost. Jude had wanted to take the bus, but Pierre insisted on walking, claiming it would help them digest their breakfast better. Now Pierre walked cheerily while Jude trudged a few paces behind.

Jude had cleaned himself up surprisingly well. He washed and brushed his hair, which now swished up, forming a shape reminiscent of the white petals of his pokemon form. His outfit was primarily two shades of green, with a collar that reached up to his jaw and a yellow band that wrapped around the collar. The sleeves billowed out in red and blue, and his shoes, boots that stretched halfway up his shins with two-inch heels, had a yellow stripe down their front and yellow toes. Behind him trailed a cape with jagged edges that mimicked tatters, and he wore green-tinted glasses that emulated a Roserade's visor. There was no mistaking his species now.

"I mean, we're brand new, rank 1 adventurers. I think we'll have to just take whatever we can get," Jude replied. "It'll probably be something like trying to find a missing pet or fetching groceries for an elder or something mundane like that."

Pierre twirled around to look at his partner in alarm. "We can't fetch groceries for our first mission!" he protested.

"Again, we probably won't have much choice," Jude replied. "We're at the very bottom of the pecking order in the guild. We have to start small and work our way up."

"Hmph." Pierre turned back around moodily. But his pouting was cut short as they passed a park and Pierre noticed a crowd of people clustered in the grass. "What's going on over there?" He asked, indicating to the crowd.

Jude followed his gaze. Several people were holding cameras, taking pictures of a woman on a bench. "Looks like a photo shoot," he said. "A lot of fashion companies use this park for photo shoots because of the cherry tree and the blossoms nearby. We shouldn't bother them–"

But Pierre was already veering off the sidewalk and jogging into the park. Jude tried calling him back, but Pierre ignored him, so he had no choice but to hesitantly follow.

The model was draped elegantly across the bench, as though she were just waking from an afternoon nap, wearing a stylish-yet-casual outfit colored in various browns and beige. Her skin was a beautiful brown color without a single scar or blemish, and her hair was tied up in large blond twil tails that spilled over the sides of the bench like golden waterfalls.

As Pierre stood beside the cameramen, who hadn't noticed his approach, and looked at her posing on the bench, he blurted, "Wow, you're really pretty."

The woman's gaze snapped to him in surprise, and the cameramen beside him also turned their heads.

"Who the hell are you?" one of them asked.

"I'm Pierre, I'm an adventurer," Pierre answered obliviously.

"You can't be here," the cameraman replied irritably.

"Wait," the model interrupted just as he moved to forcibly escort Pierre away. She smiled at the Toxicroak. "I wanna talk to him."

Jude, just now catching up, said, "I'm sorry for bothering you. We'll get out of here."

"You're both adventurers?" the model asked.

"Yeah!" Pierre replied. "This is my partner, Jude! We're the Toxic Petals!" He puffed up his chest proudly.

"Could you wait nearby until I finish this photo shoot? I have something… personal I'd like to ask of you. I-If you're not busy…" she looked away shyly.

Jude's cheeks reddened slightly. "We can wait," he said.

"I thought you said we were 'getting out of here,'" Pierre said teasingly as he grinned at his friend.

"Shut up." Jude shoved him off towards another nearby bench, where the two of them sat and waited.

"Sorry for making you wait for so long!" the woman said as she finally came over to them. It had only been half an hour, which Pierre didn't feel was all that long at all, but he didn't say anything about it. She had changed clothes after the photo shoot, using a collapsible changing station that had been set up for her, and now she wore a brown turtleneck and skirt that hugged her curves nicely, and knee-high tan boots that made her much more recognizable as a Lopunny than the outfit she'd been taking pictures in did. "My name is Honey," she said. "I need your help finding my sister."

"A quest?" Pierre asked excitedly.

Honey nodded. "I was going to go to the guild, but… I don't know, it's only been a couple days, so if she turned out to be fine and was just like on a trip or something and didn't tell me, I'd be so embarrassed."

"Is everyone in this city so worried about being wrong?" Pierre whispered to Jude.

Jude shoved him away and said to Honey, "Is that usual for her? Disappearing without telling you where she's going?"

"Well, no, not really… But she's sort of… ditzy. So, it wouldn't surprise me if she forgot."

Jude sighed. "Well, even so, I think it'd be best to put in a request through the guild."

"Well, the thing is… she's also sort of a celebrity… well, not like a celebrity-celebrity, but… she's a streamer online, and has a lot of fans. I don't want to cause a scandal if news gets out that she's missing."

"A streamer?" Pierre looked from Honey to Jude. "What's that?"

"Someone who records videos of themself for entertainment online," Jude explained. Then, back to Honey, "What's her name?"

"Cherry. She's a Lopunny too, we're twins," Honey answered. "But she's shiny."

Jude's eyebrows raised. "Your sister is Cherry Lopunny?"

"You know her?" Pierre asked.

"I don't watch her content, because she mainly does makeup trends and tutorials, but I've seen clips of her," Jude explained.

Honey nodded. "Will you help me find her?"

Pierre jumped up from the bench. "Of course we will!"

"Hang on, Pierre," Jude said, grabbing his wrist. "This isn't an official guild quest."

"I-I'll pay you!" Honey insisted. "I can even pay you half in advance if you want. I just want to find her without causing too much fuss."

"Come on, Jude," Pierre added. "You said yourself the quests we're gonna find at the guild will all be lame."

"I didn't say–"

"This is our chance!" Pierre pressed. "Plus, adventurers are supposed to help those in need!"

Eventually, Jude sighed. "Alright, fine. We'll take the quest."
