A/N: I have never felt this devastated on this site before like I am feeling now. I am so disstressed right now I cant even explain my feelings. I have no shame being honest with you guys by telling you the truth that, I really broke down crying this time.
It takes so much time and effort to complete writing a chapter. It's not an easy job at all. With no profit, I am writing this! I don't care about any profit or anything like this, because I love this couple so much. Some artists who do drawings are much more lucky! Because most people respond on their works and they can actually earn from it, unlike us.
I never started writing to earn anything. And I would never expect to earn from this platform. I am doing it just for the love for this couple. But what is this giving us, "GHOST READERS"!!? Who comes and reads and leaves without any acknowledgements! You guys wont belive; how much views I get per chapter! People loves to come, read and leave. Just think about it this way, you guys don't even have time to write one line to that author because your time is valuable. But our time is valueless, thats why we are writting letters after letters.
Now after this msg I might get some rude comments. I am used to it now. I am ready for this actually. I faced this same thing when I mentioned the same issue when I was writting "Yours is mine". The bullying I faced then; Oh my God! I still cant belive I managed to be strong back then and I finished it.
Honestly, Sometimes I feel like leaving this platform once and for all! First this "GHOST READERS" and now the way this site is working, all of this is so unbearable to take! This is so stressful!! For one fic (Boss wifey) I have been stressed for four days! In one moment I began to think why am I stressing so much for?Does anyone even care for it? No one would care how much effort I have put into making things work for the readers so that they can read uninterrupted. Sometimes I feel like I am not normal at all!!
Look guys, I am so sorry. You guys are very close to me and that's why maybe I am venting my frustration out here like this. Many of you, who stayed with me on the journey of "Yours is mine" fic; may know how much mentally tortured I was there. Readers who barely reviewd me there, they came out one day with nasty comments and called me so many bad things. I was so traumatized after what happend that time that, I stopped the guest comments from posting directly. Because as a guest anyone can disguise and say as many bad words they can and harm people's feelings. That was a great reward I got that time; which still sometimes haunts me.
I just miss the era when I wrote "Love you again". People were so kind and supportive. I made so many mistakes; but still they never criticized me. If I am still continuing writing because I remember those days when my readers supported me. In this fic, I may have four or five regular reviewers; Baybyface, Sandy, Guest, Pinklover, Oboro; but you guys unknowingly helped me to get out of my fear. You guys are so kind, your reviews so supportive; I reopen the guest review option.
I dont know how long I would be able to take this stress and keep writing. I am just hoping that I hold myself in check, until I finish this fic.

"Are you sure you can fix that thing, Mr Hiro?" Ranma asked as he saw Mr Hiro trying to fix their landline connection, which somehow got dead.
"Uhh, I fixed it one time though. Let me try one more time, or else I will call someone to come and fix it for us, master."
Ranma sighed and nodded, "Yeah, alright."
"Master, is Ryoga going to be out all night today as well?"
"I am not sure, Mr Hiro. I haven't talked to him about this."
"Alright then, please give me some moment; I will prepare your dinner for you after this."
"No problem. Take your time. I am not that hungry anyway. I am going back to my room, Mr Hiro. If ya need anything just call.."
Ring Ring Ring Ring Knock Knock Knock Knock*
"What the!" Ranma asked somewhat surprised as he heard the doorbell ringing and knocking at the same time.
"I will go and check." Mr Hiro tired to stand up.
"Wait! That must be Ryoga. I think he came drunk again. I will go.."
Ranma said as he hurriedly went towards the door to check who had come. The ringing and banging of the door kept happening nonstop, making his heart beat in panic. He got angry as he opened the door saying,
"What's so hurry, Ryo!! Huh?" Ranma became more stunned to find , "Akane?"
Akane was drenched in sweat. She was panting hard, her eyes fearful as she looked at Ranma with urgency. When she saw Ranma in front of her calling her name, she growled and angrily pushed the door open. She grabbed his collar and shook him while she talked in a hurry panicked tone,
"Why didn't you come to my home today? Why are you not picking up my call? Why are you ignoring me? You know how long I have been trying to call you? I know it was my fault! I know I shouldn't have missed today! I know I am an idiot! But I FORGOT, OKAY!! I AM A HUMAN TOO!! I can also forget now and then!! Why do you guys expect so much from me?! Don't you think I have feelings too! Am I made out of ROCK!"
She released his collar and looked at him with tears in her eyes. She laid her one hand over her one eye as she began to sob softly as she said in between her sobs,
"I don't know what to do! I am feeling so stupid right now! I am so tired. I am so hungry. I am crying like an idiot standing here. You didn't pick up my call and I had to run all the way here tired and hungry. I hate my life. You guys are so mean! You just don't understand! I remember what is today, okay? It's just.. I … forgot everything after.. after.. aww just leave it! You wont understand. You guys are never going to understand! All you guys want is perfection in every situation! You don't even want to understand that maybe the other person is having a hard time as well.."
At the beginning, Ranma became completely speechless when he saw her reacting in such a violent way. She talked so fast at that moment that he had to listen to her more attentively to understand what she was trying to say to him. Then suddenly, she started crying like a baby. She was right, he was upset at her because she didn't come as she promised him. But now that he was seeing her devastating state, he could clearly see how disturbed she was looking. She looked so tired and broken, her whole body shivering slightly as she tried to get a hold on her emotions. Her words also made him somewhat guilty of his actions. She was right. He should have gone to her and asked her about her disappearance. But he didn't do it and decided to conclude that she doesn't even remember what today is and she doesn't care. He didn't know how to console her at that moment. He gave a long sigh and whispered to her,
"Kane, listen."
Akane shook her head and said with a shaky tone,
"No! I won't! I am sorry I didn't come today. I won't be able to go tomorrow as well. So don't you dare think otherwise that I am ignoring you or something like that.. S-sorry for bothering you like this. I.. I had to make sure that you know that I do care, that's why I came here at this hour . Anyways.. bye.."
Saying that, she turned around to leave the place; but Ranma reacted quickly.
"No WAIT!! Please stop!!"
He reached out to her and held her arm to stop her. Akane was still crying softly, she was way too tired to resist him, as she let Ranma guide her.
Ranma circled his arm around her shoulder and started taking her towards his room. Upon entering his room, he made her sit on his bed by the headrail side. He tucked some pillow behind her back to make her more comfortable as he said,
"You need to calm down now. We need to talk."
Akane sniffed and looked at him, "I am hungry."
Ranma softly smiled at her and ruffled her hair slightly and said,
"Okay, princess. Just give me a minute."
Ranma felt lucky when he saw Mr Hiro already prepared some food for Akane. He said he immediately left to make food when he heard that Akane was hungry. After showing him gratitude, Ranma took the tray inside his room and put it in front of her.
Akane was still in deep thought. Her eyes were slightly puffy from all the crying she did, little dark circles under her eyes and she looked thin for some reason. He thought the way she told him she was hungry, she would devour the whole meal at once, but she just took the sandwich in her hand and started chewing it lazily.
Ranma got worried seeing her act like that. He gave her some water to drink and asked her,
"Can I close the door?"
"Hum?" She asked, not sure what he meant.
Ranma sighed and said, "I wanna have a good conversation with you. Ryoga might come, I don't want any interruption."
Akane bites her lower lip and nodded her head. Ranma closed the door and quickly sat down in front of her again.
She looked hesitant as she stopped chewing her food.
"I am done."
"What? But you haven't finished anything yet!"
"I am sorry, but I can't have any more.."
Ranma didn't force her anymore; he took the tray from her side and placed it on the side bed table. He went beside her again and asked her,
"Take your time; but I want to hear what is bothering you, Akane. And I promise, I won't let you leave until you tell me everything. No matter if Akio comes again and beats me to a pulp; I don't care; I want to hear what is troubling you so much."
"Ranma.. I want to tell you but.."
Ranma laid his hand over her trembling hand as he said,
"You are the most strongest girl I have ever seen. If anything is making you break down like this ; then this must be a serious issue that you are facing. Look, I am sorry. I should have come to you and ask you about why you haven't came. I shouldn't have just made judgments like I did today. But I promise you, I didn't plan to ignore your calls. Our landlines just broke and my cell phone has not been charged. It's just a plain misunderstanding. I am really sorry for that."
Akane shook her head and said with tears in her eyes,
"It's okay. It's my fault. I shouldn't have forgotten about today." she sniffed, looked up at him and gave him a small smile as she tried to change the subject, "So? Tell me, What should we name this day, huh? Happy one year to meet a ghost day?" She giggled as she said that with a blush in her face.
Ranma chuckled hearing that and shook his head and said, "Maybe we can call it, Ranma's one-year of lucky days!"
Akane giggled and said, "You are such a baka! Happy one year to our friendship, Ranma." Saying that ,she lended forward and gave him a quick friendly hug, which Ranma returned wholeheartedly.
After breaking the hug, Ranma stood up and said, "Wait a second." He quickly went to his desk where he left his backpack. He smiled and took out the flowers for her and the small box with the silver chain in it. He smiled as he went infront of her and offered her the flowers.
"Here. I.. I bought this for you."
"Oh Ranma! This is so beautiful! Thank you." She took the flower in her hand as suddenly she realized something, "You have been keeping them since morning? Oh Kami, I am feeling so horrible now."
"Hey, it's okay. You have your reasons for that. Anyways, I kinda.." He hesitated at first then said as he gave the box to Akane, "I bought this for you too. It's just a plain chain, not any fancy. You might not like it.. But I wanted to give you something, so.."
As Ranma was talking to her, she opened the box. Her eyes became wide as a beautiful smile adored her face. She gave a long sigh and without saying anything to him, she took out the chain and wore it around her neck. She gave him a beautiful smile and said,
"This is so thoughtful of you! I don't want to be formal with you, Ranma. Thank you for giving me this. This is very beautiful and I will never let go of it. But.." Suddenly her smile fades away as she told him while softly hugging the flowers close to her chest, "But I haven't bought anything for you."
"Well, it's not too late, you know. You can still give me something if ya want to."
Akane's face lifted up, she looked up at him and asked, "What's that?"
Ranma took her hand in his and held her hand tightly and said, "Tell me what's bothering you. I want you to trust me. I promise I won't tell this to anyone."
Akane silently kept looking at him for a few moments, contemplating if she should tell him or not. She took a deep breath and said,
"First Promise me you won't tell it to Akio and Kasumi as well."
"What! They also don't know about it?" Ranma asked, surprised.
Akane shook her head, "And promise me you won't freak out."
Ranma gulped hard and started assuming what sort of secret she could be hiding from everyone. But whatever it was, it couldn't be that bad. Not like the secret that he was hiding from her. He was sure this couldn't be that big which would make him freak out.. He cleared his voice and said, ""I.. I promise you. I will do as ya told me. I promise I won't freak.."
"I have a fiance."
"out?!…." Akane told him in haste even before he could finish his words. Her words made him so puzzled that for a moment he kept looking at her with wide horrified eyes and open mouth. After a moment of complete silence, he shook his head as he asked her in complete disbelief, "What?… Sorry, come again.."
Akane gave a long frustrated sigh and said while giving him a serious look, "I am engaged with someone, Ranma. I have a fiance. And this letter I got, it's about him."
For a very long moment he kept staring at her as if she had gone crazy or something. Akane was paitencely waiting for him to say something to her. Anything! She just wanted see his reaction. But he looked as if he had been stricken with lightening. After some moment of silently staring at each other, she got uncomfortable by his thunderstruck stare. She whined angrily and said,
"Awww!! STOP staring at me, Baka! Say something! If you don't say anything to me then.."
"Wait, wait, wait, wait!!" Ranma stopped her from talking. He wildly shook his head, his stare unsure as he asked her, "You have a fiance?"
Akane got a little bit agitated seeing his reaction. She gulped and said, "Umm, yeah. That's what I just confessed to you."
"What have you confessed to me?" He asked again.
"Ummm that I have a fiance.." She answered him again.
"So you mean to say a Fiance?"
Akane simply nodded her head and said nothing.
Ranma again shook his head in disbelief and asked,
"You mean to say a BOY fiance?"
Akane did a double take when she heard the question; she frowned at him and said, "What do you mean by that? Of course Shinnosuke is a boy! In fact he is a man!"
Ranma growled angrily and asked her, not so politely, "NOW, who is this Shannusuke?!!"
Akane gowled back at him and said with an angry pout,
"Shinnosuke is my FIANCE!"
"What do you mean? WHAT FIANCE!?" Ranma asked in a tensed voice.
"Ranma!!" Akane was getting more and more surprised by his reaction. She saw him giving her a furious look; he wanted to say something to her but he just gave a long fustrated sigh and started pacing in the room like a caged tiger. Akane moaned as she tried to call him again,
"Ranma! What's wrong with you?"
Ranma didn't answer her as he kept on pacing hard. Then suddenly he stopped as he realized something. He pointed an accusing finger towards her as he said with a fake laughter,
"HAHA! That's so DAMN FUNNY!! So you are saying you have a FIANCÉE and Kasumi or Akio doesn't know about this?!! Are you trying to make a fool out of me?"
Akane bites her lower lips as she tried to convince him,
"I am not trying to make you a fool, baka! There is a reason why they don't know about this!"
"KNOW ABOUT WHAT?!" He asked somewhat impaitencely .
"ABOUT MY ENGAGEMENT WITH SHINNOSUKE, RANMA!!" Akane huffed angrily, she crossed her arms in front of her chest and said,
"That's why I didn't want to share this with you! I knew you would overreact like this!"
"What!! I am overreacting?!" He hastily went in front of her. He sat in front of her and asked her, "So how did ya want to me to react after hearing that, huh? Did ya expect me to congratulate you!! Or say "Oh my God Akane I am so happy for you."!! Huh? What did ya expect!!"
Akane gave an angry pout and said, "No! I didn't expect anything like that from you! You know what, I think I should leave now! You won't get what I want to say anymore.."
Saying that she stood up to leave, only to be stopped by Ranma as he hastily grabbed her wrist. He made her sit back down again as he said in a tensed hushed tone,
"JUST give me some time to digest this news, DAMN IT!!"
Akane looked at him and saw how troubled he looked at that moment. She gave a long sigh. She turned and took the glass of water from the side table and handed it to him.
"Here; drink some water. You need to calm down, Ranma. Do you really want to hear me now?"
Ranma tightly closed his eyes; he started taking some deep breaths to calm his nerves. Giving a shaky breath, he looked up at her with hard determination and said,
"Please.. I want you to tell me every single detail, Akane.."
