Prompt: "Yeah, I have a plan."
"Is it a good one?"
"I have a plan."
Pru was at the desk at the back of Nate's apartment, looking through some potential clients, when Nate, Parker, and Eliot all came rushing in. She shot a quizzical look at their hurrying, which was ignored as Nate started talking into his comm. "Sophie tells me you've been recruited by the Russians."
The manager's eyes widened as Eliot said something and Parker began looking through the intel they'd obtained for the job. Pru quickly grabbed her ear bud (she had a tendency to take it out when they weren't actively going after a mark) and put it in as she made her way over to where Nate and Eliot were standing. She was just in time to hear Alec begin to speak as though he were talking to the Russians (in his awful British accent to boot). "Oy! Just so I'm clear, you want me to help break into Kerrity's vault and steal his diamonds?"
"Oh, beautiful." Nate was shaking his head as Pru groaned. Only Alec would find a way to blow a good plan.
The manager looked over at the mastermind. "Nate, please tell me that you have a plan."
"Yeah, I have a plan."
She narrowed her eyes. "Nathan, is it a good plan?"
He scoffed. "I have a plan. Now, quiet. The Russians are laying out their plan."
Pru rolled her eyes but kept quiet as they all listened to the Russians' plan, which was not a good one. Parker was very quick to find flaws in it. "Exploding through the floor will set the sensor off. Tunnel's a terrible way in."
"Alright, Hardison, you're going to tell them their plan won't work."
"Tunnel is a horrible way in."
Pru scoffed. "We heard you the first time, Parker."
The manager logged on to Alec's system as they all listened to the hacker work on convincing the Russians to give him a little time to come up with a better plan. Once they were on board, Nate spoke up again. "Now listen. Hardison, figure out a way to buy some more time so that we can get you out of this. Yeah, yeah, get busy." He took his ear bud out and turned to look at the rest of the team. "What do we know?"
"Not a whole hell of a lot." Pru was focused on the laptop in front of her, maneuvering herself back so that she could sit cross-legged on the couch. "It's going to take me a bit to attempt to track him, so how about you guys start mapping out how you're going to help him break in, yeah?"
She felt a hand on her shoulder briefly before feeling the team walk away towards the kitchen. Shaking her head, Pru furrowed her brow and sighed. She really hoped that the mastermind could get them all out of this. Before it was too late.
