After the events of 'We Do Knot Always Love You', Ichigo decides to confront his feelings for Orihime. A sudden event keeps them apart, but perhaps it gives Ichigo the push he needs to finally reach out to her.

Thank you to everyone who read this short 10-chapter fanfiction. I know Tite Kubo didn't really write too much romance into BLEACH, but a part of me wanted some closure knowing that Ichigo and Orihime end up together after the time skip. And I also wanted to push their relationship a bit further after the light novel We Do Knot Always Love You.

I tried to create a believable and pretty ordinary situation where they would share some already obvious feelings, and truthfully I didn't want to write any fighting (sorry lol). It was kind of tricky because romance isn't usually the main feature in Shounen, so I thought writing about grief would help, as grief, since the beginning of BLEACH, seems to tie Ichigo and Orihime together. In fact, writing this felt more like a friendship piece than a romance once, which I hope is still appreciated.

Anyway, thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed the fanfiction.
