A/N Okay, before we go any further, just because there's always someone who has to make a big deal out of it. Timelines are not matching up between Buffy/Angel and Stargate. In Buffy, timeline wise it's about Feb/March in season 4. For Angel, everything up to the end of season 1, which ended in May, has already happened. It shouldn't be necessary to remind anyone, different reality, different decisions, different possibilities. However, there's always someone who complains about it. As for Stargate, this story is happening in the end of winter of 2000, Buffy's freshman year of college and that's happening canonically, I see no reason to adjust anything there. Buffy and Angel may have been different shows, but they were always the same reality.

Either I've managed to set the breaks on the usual complaints or I've managed to confuse a few people even more than they usually are, which is not my intention.

As for the baby, well in Kerrain's story Joyce got pregnant magically because of the ritual to bind them as family. Xander's Chaos Nexus energy made things go cockeyed and that's how Dawn came to be in their story. I thought it was hilarious and want to acknowledge this is 'borrowed'. Xander's Chaos Nexus energy is responsible for Cordelia being knocked up. 😁

"I can't be pregnant!" Cordelia growled. "I haven't done any of the necessary things for getting pregnant! I haven't even been on a date since Wilson Christopher magically roofied me and knocked me up with demon babies that nearly tore their way out of me!"

"Is he dead?" The local Xander snarled. "Angel better have killed the son of a bitch! And that makes the second time you've been roofied and handed off to a demon."

"Tell me about it and the idiot and his buddies died when Angel and Wesley killed the demon they'd made a bargain with. My point is, that was months ago and before that it was us and skipping fifth, sixth and seventh period before graduation because we thought we were going to die."

"When I thought we might be starting over and then just after graduation I discovered you'd left town without telling me or leaving any contact information with any of your family. I was thinking you regretted it."

"No," Cordelia looked startled. "I'm remembering it. Hey, Oracle people, that armored demon said they'd made me forget things so they could get me out of Sunnydale, are you guys giving me back my memories?"

"This chamber is shielded from such Magics." The female Oracle informed her. "We upgraded our magical protections after Vocah breached our security and killed the last Oracles, they're burning through the Magics that were used on you prior to walking through our door."

"It's not going to affect the ritual we did to get rid of the Magics used on us or the family bonding we did, are they?" The local Xander asked, alarmed. "Because we want to stay family."

"No, those Magics were already gone from you and cannot come back and the bonding ritual was blessed by the gods, only they could undo it, if they chose to." The male Oracle replied. "Your new family bonds remain in place."

"Good." Buffy said firmly. "I'm just getting use to the idea of having Faith as my sister, now that I know it was the Powers that made us act the way we were."

"And I'm just getting use to having a sister myself." Xander admitted. "I always thought of Willow like a sister and now Tara is my sister. Which reminds me, now that we've saved Cordy I need to find myself my own place, between my savings and the recent promotion, I'm finally in a position to do it and the sooner I can see the end of Tony and Jessica, the better."

"Hold on, Dweeb, we've got to figure out what this protecting me thing means! I have no idea why or how I did that spell or whatever, to tie us together and what that means for us. Add in the fact that I can tell you're with Faith now and I'm thinking this whole situation has gotten a tad complicated."

"Conception occured at the moment the spell completed." The female Oracle told her. "Our protections didn't stop it and that means the gods allowed it to happen, for whatever reason. It may be connected to the Seer's plan as she now has the power of Atropos and you have the power of Clotho."

"I don't know what that means!" Cordelia protested.

"Atropos and Clotho are sisters." Giles told her. "Two of the three Fates, they have a sister, a perpetual child. It's possible this child you're now pregnant with has the powers of Lachesis."

"What's her power?"

"To see the moment of someone's death and to cut the string of life." Giles answered.

"Her power might be connected to death?!" Cordelia gasped, a hand going to her belly, an instinctive need to protect the new life within. "How does that work? Please tell me, she won't have, like the touch of death!"

"No," Giles shook his head. "more likely, she'll have premonitions that will allow her to avert death."

"That's what my visions are." Cordelia said, startled. "I see people in trouble, usually about to die horribly and we get there in time and stop it from happening."

"Not anymore." Giles told her. "Clotho's power is to see the paths, the possibilities of someone's life. Xander creates new possibilities, which means new paths. This child may now have your former power."

"But the visions felt like they were tearing my brain apart! She won't survive that!"

"Your power was activated early and prematurely." Giles reminded her. "Sometimes people born with power, are born with it active, mostly though, it happens later in life, when they're more mature. We will find a way to help your child, regardless of when her power activates."

"Um, this might be a stupid question." Faith looked at the Oracle "Any idea who the father is? As a god recently told Xander, it takes a Mom and a Dad to make new humans."
