"We do not know." The female Oracle replied to Faith's question on who the baby's father was. "We know only that conception has occured. But I believe humans have their own ways of determining that information."

"Yeah, but I think it'll be a few months before baby Cordy is in any position to help us know who her daddy is." Elder Xander commented. "In the meantime, Cordy's got some decisions to make herself, given the fact that she's now unemployed."

"Oh, crap. I probably am." Cordelia groaned. "Plus I've got to see my parents, my grandmother and try to explain why I took off last year and haven't been in contact with them. Unless Sunnydale Syndrome kicked in and they've forgotten about me."

"No, they haven't forgotten about you." Local Xander assured. "I see your parents once in awhile around town. They still hate me for breaking your heart."

"Maybe I can tell them I had a breakdown over you." She muttered as the group headed for the entrance to the Oracles' chamber and Giles lingered behind to speak to the Oracles himself. "On the other hand, now I know it wasn't your fault and you've probably been blaming yourself as much as everyone else did."

"Yeah, pretty much." Xander agreed. "But Tara and I've been talking, we've both had crap childhoods and have our own unofficial talk therapy sessions and I thought it was probably fear of ending up like Tony and treating you like crap that made me act like that. Now I know it wasn't my fault but the talks have still been helpful. And yeah, I think Faith and I are going to be a thing." Xander admitted. "We haven't had a chance to talk about it, but there are feelings. Potential. Not that I've forgotten about you." Xander stopped because talking about feelings for an old girlfriend in front of a new girlfriend to the old girlfriend was...awkward, to say the least. And probably violated some social rule he didn't understand. "I can introduce you to Tara, my new sister, she's a witch and dating Willow."

"What happened to Oz?"

"Female werewolf that made Wolfie come out and play, then decided she didn't like the competition and literally went for Will's throat before Oz managed to put her down, permanently. He went to Tibet to try and find some way of controlling Wolfie and Willow met Tara while he was gone and they're a twosomeness of cuteness and if they ever get married Willow will be my sister-in-law."

"I can introduce you to Dennis, he's the ghost that makes sure my apartment stays rent controlled. His mother was a psycho, she walled him up and let him die just because he fell in love and wanted to get married."

"Guess Sunnydale doesn't have a monopoly on weirdness." Faith commented. "But he's not psycho?"

"Except for unloading decades worth of pissed off at his mother when I set him free, the worst thing he does is move things around to tease me. And it's funny when he scares vampires."

"So, Angel looked really angry when he came out." Wesley told them when he saw them. "Just snarled at me and said I'm fired and that was it. What's with the red mark on his face?"

"Giles put him on his ass." Buffy told him. "The stuff we did to break the spells on us revealed Angel had thralled me several times. If Giles hadn't hit him, I would have."

"And Queenie over here's been upgraded and so have both Xanders." Faith reported. "Our visitor's power level has gone up to nuclear power plant level and Queenie and our Xander are demigods now."

"Good heavens, how did that happen?!"

"Drusilla thought she was getting an upgrade of her own but it turned out someone was using her to get power for herself and save me. I now have the power of Clotho." Cordelia answered. "And I couldn't stop myself from reciting some kind of spell that tied Xander to me as my protector and the spell gave him Achilles' power."

"What is Achilles' power anyway?" Buffy asked. "The Oracles said Xander's still that Nexus thingy, but he's also got Achilles skill, so what's that mean?"

"Achilles was a warrior who fought in the Trojan War." Wesley answered. "The greatest general in the war, a strategist unequaled by any other and a master with a variety of weapons, including the spear and sword. Near Heracles in terms of strength."

"So soldier me on steroids." Local Xander summed up. "I'll have to test out what I can do with Giles' weapons collection."

"Not ready to call him Dad yet?" Buffy asked.

"Dad?" Wesley asked.

"We did a mystical bonding ceremony." Local Xander answered. "Joyce wanted to help and protect Faith, so our visitor over there did a spell that rewrote reality to make Faith her biokid. Giles wanted to help me and Tara outta the crappy family situations we've got and did the same for us. He used my energy to do it and it worked. But yeah, I'm not ready to call him Dad. It's not like I ever called Tony Dad, but Giles is already an improvement over him."

"Are you aware of the fact that as his son you're now part of the aristocracy of England?"

"I'm part British now? Bangers and mash? Pippip and cheerio?"

"No, more along the lines of Sir Giles. At least Rupert Giles is."

"Huh, well cool beans, I guess." A rather confused Xander answered as he really didn't know what it meant. Yet.

"Anyway, we should plan a mission to save Fred from the demon dimension." Elder Xander suggested and the group fell into a planning session.
