After getting off the call with Briar, Apple had gone into town with Raven.
"How could you not mention that Briar is married to Faybelle?" asked Apple while they sat next to each other in a limo.
"Or that their son is dating Magenta?" she asked.
"You were so hexhausted yesterday that we didn't have time to think about that, making sure you recover is the main thing on my mind right now," said Raven as she looked over at the blonde.
"Guess you have a point," said Apple.
"Oh, here we are," said Raven as the limo stopped in front of a restaurant.
"Wow, Ginger has really done well for herself," said Apple.
"Wait until you taste the food, she's done amazing in her work," said Raven. Once inside the restaurant, the two were greeted by Ginger who had been waiting on them by the door.
"I'm so glad that you two could make it," said Ginger while hugging them.
"Sorry, Apple, that must have been weird since you don't remember us being that close of friends," she said as she backed away.
"It's alright, I'm slowly getting used to how things are now," said Apple with a smile.
"So, what's the new desert that you wanted us to try?" asked Raven.
"Follow me," said Ginger before leading them to a back room where a slice of cake sat on a table.
"Wow, it's beautiful," said Apple while looking at the cake which was a chocolate sponge with yellow frosting between two layers. It was also topped with white frosting and purple flowers.
"Thank you," said Ginger as she handed them each a fork.
"Now to see how it tastes," said Raven. Once she had taken a bite, Apple's eyes went wide and she dropped the fork.
