This takes place after Crystallized, but before the Merge

"Have you ever wondered where Master Wu gets all our ninja gi's?"

The abrupt question made Lloyd stumble to the right, messing up his spinjitsu. He looked at Jay. "How does that relate to training?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

The lightning ninja just shrugged as he struck out with his nun-chucks at the dummy. "It is a valid question." Zane spoke after a moment of silence. Lloyd looked at him incredulously. "We're supposed to be training, not wondering about where our gi's came from." Lloyd replied.

"Oh, come on Greenbean, you have to be a little curious, right?" Kai said playfully, pulling him into a brotherly headlock and messing up his hair. At least the ninja was being careful of his horns. Lloyd just shoved Kai away and sighed, running his hands through his hair, fixing it up. "Yeah, sure I am, but I don't want to make Master Wu mad."

"We've been training out here since dawn! Master Wu can't be too angry that we took a break!" Jay pointed out. Lloyd sighed as he lowered his hands. "Fine."

"Yay!" Jay exclaimed and quickly placed his nun-chucks on his back. Cole placed his scythe on the wall, next to his war hammer, with Zane placed his shurikens by his hip, his bow and quiver on his back already. Kai sheathed his katana, and Nya placed her trident on her back. Lloyd just sighed and sheathed his dao.

Walking back into the monastery, they all made their way to the hanger bay, where Pixal was working on a mech with MiniPix-7 helping her. The nindroid looked up as they got closer. "Zane? I though you were all training in the courtyard."

Zane nodded as he gave his girlfriend a quick peck on the cheek. "We were, but Jay brought up an interesting question. Jay?"

"Where does Master Wu get our suits? We always go new ones every now and then, but we haven't gotten anything new recently. We've been using our fugitive suits for the past couple of months!" Jay replied, his voice getting louder at the end.

Pixal blinked and then another voice spoke up. "I was going to have Pixal help me start making some new suits for you guys, but if you're so eager on getting new ones, then you can make them yourselves."

They all whipped around to find Master Wu standing there, a cheeky smile on the old man's face.

"Huh?" Kai voiced what everyone was thinking. Master Wu then pulled out a box from behind him. "I was going to start on them, but if you are so eager on getting new gi, then you can do it yourself."

The old man then promptly set the box on the ground and left. A moment of silence passed before all of them rushed to the box. Lloyd pulled out the unfinished green gi from the box and looked at it. "Hey Pixal, do you have any fabric laying around?" Cole asked as the nindroid walked up to them.

She nodded. "Affirmative. There is a table with some sewing utensils and fabrics over there to your left."

And with that, the ninja hurried over. Lloyd looked at the gi, trying to think of what he wanted to do with it. It was a plain green, with a lighter green accent on the hood. "Hey, are there any light green fabric like this?" He asked, showing the ninja the color. Zane riffled through one of the piles of fabric before tossing him a bundle of the light green cloth he needed. "Thanks."

But before he even started sewing, he quickly sketched up a design, using one of the notebooks on the table.

The next few days, the ninja spent their time training, sewing, sleeping, and eating. They had all decided to do similar bases, with a design that represented their elemental powers. Nya had blue wave patterns with Jay having yellow lightning symbols, Nya helping the latter. Cole designed a rock-like design with Kai doing flames, with help of Zane since the boy couldn't draw for the life of him. Finally, Zane did light bleu ice patterns with Lloyd doing scale like diamonds.

To be honest, Lloyd didn't know how he could represent energy, so he just decided to do dragon scales. When they put them on, they immediately went into the courtyard to train. All of them enjoying their new suits and bragging about how theirs was better than the others'.

And done, I know, this is crap, it's bs but this whole story/one-shot stuff is mainly writing practice and etc.
