The night was deep, and the stars were spreading faintly over the sky as if the curtain had been set for the coming coronation party. Alice and Tarrant immersed themselves every night in the pleasures they gave each other, brokering whispers and laughs.
The autumn in the fairyland is becoming more and more intense, with a slight chill in the evening wind, but their love for each other makes everything seem unreal. Alice had almost forgotten the passage of time, waking up every morning with her tousled red hair and a series of close kisses on her cheeks.
A few days before the party, Talant worked frantically, completing all tasks in half a day, and focused all his thoughts on Alice's dress. He took out exquisite fabrics from time to time and carefully stitched delicate lace. Alice looked at him helplessly and smiled:"HowamIgoingtogetthroughallthesedressesandhats?"Tarrant just smiled shyly, his face full of fearless enthusiasm.
The night of the coronation party has finally arrived. Unlike in the past when Alice was dressed by a maid in the palace, this time Talant dressed Alice himself. He took out a long, carefully prepared pale blue dress, lined with crystalline silver lines at the collar and cuffs, soft and noble as moonlight. He gently covered her with the skirt layer by layer, inserted a few small wild flowers in her hair, and carefully traced her hair. He pulled a belt out of his coat pocket and carefully tied a thin belt around her waist. He looked at her a little distance, solemn and devout. "Flawless."
He himself was no exception, looking solemn and handsome in a Scottish dress that symbolised an important occasion, paired with a suit that matched Alice's. Alice looked at them in the mirror and felt adoration and love. Tarant also froze, could not help but lower his head and kiss her lips, so excited that he almost messed up her clothes. Alice pushed him away with a trace of reproach in her smile:"Ifwekeepthisup,we'llmisstheball.Tarrant pouted slightly, but stopped obediently and carefully smoothed her skirt, which had been tangled by the kiss.
They boarded the private carriage prepared by the Red Queen, and Tarrant couldn't help kissing her secretly all the way. When they arrived at the palace, Talant took Alice's hand and slowly got off the carriage. The carpet is red and white, which looks solemn in the night. The residents of the fairyland dressed elegantly and came to greet Alice one by one. She held onto Talant's arm and smiled and was nervous. Alice finally breathed a sigh of relief when she saw her familiar friends. The March Hare, Zachary, laughed wildly:"Lookatthem, whataperfectcouple!"Mary, a sleeper, murmured in a low voice:"Likesstuckwithglue.Maxwell, the White Rabbit, nervously organized the etiquette details beside them, saying from time to time:"Thetimingwasperfect, everythinghadtobeinorder."
The red and white queen led them into the palace hall. The tall crystal chandelier casts a soft light overhead, and the walls are covered with elaborate floral embroideries that evoke a noble smell. The long table was filled with delicate pastries and fine wine, and Tweedles and the minister of the dodo took no notice of their image and immediately rushed to the food area to feast, while the puppy Béard's family chased and played around the children. In the dance hall, the residents of the fairyland danced gracefully to the elegant music. The Red and White Queen stood on the high platform and addressed everyone:"TodayisacelebrationofAlice'scoronation.Thankyouforallthepeaceandhappinessshehasbrought.Mayyouallhavefuntonight!"
The music grew louder and the atmosphere grew feverish. Tarrant, who could no longer contain his excitement, pulled Alice onto the dance floor with his hat and took her to a vigorous dance. Each of his spins and steps is filled with a charming confidence and ecstasy, as if the joy of the entire Wonderland is fused in his smile. At the end of the dance, he held Alice leanly in his arms, smiling and putting his lips on her forehead. Alice smiled and whispered reproachfully. "Unknown convergence." Tarrant looked up at her, his eyes shining, not caring about anyone else: "I don't care, I want to let the whole wonderland know how much I love you."
After a few songs, Tarrant was breathing slightly, but Alice seemed alive. She laughed and asked him:"What, areyouexhaustedfromthelastfewnights?"Tarrant flushed and smiled vaguely. Alice took his hand and softly suggested:"Let'sgototheeyeofwonderland.Tarrant's eyes lit up and a smile crept to his lips.
Before no one noticed, they slipped out of the palace and went along the path through the woods. The silence around them seemed to embrace them as they walked humming melodies, laughing at each other and reciting ancient verses to each other, their voices mingling harmoniously in the cool night wind. Before long, they arrived at the peaceful lake, where the lake gently rippled under the stars, as if reflecting the entire sky of the fairyland.
Alice looked down and took off her shoes, lifted the hem of her skirt and walked into the lake. The water was as warm as ever. She cried out loud:"Comeon, thelakeisso comfortable!"Tarrant hesitated for a moment and followed him into the water. They threw water at each other in the lake and laughed in the night sky. Alice looked up at the stars and said softly:"Iremember, thenightwefirstkissed, thestarsseemedtomakeupyourname."
Tarrant gazed down at her face and gently stroked her cheek and said affectionately:"Alice, everynightwhenyouwereaway, thestarsformedyourimage."The corners of Alice's eyes were full of tears, and she smiled softly and snuggled in his arms. Tarrant approached her slowly and kissed her on the lips like a precious jewel.
They lay on the grass beside the lake, watching the stars twinkle above them, their fingers intertwined, and from time to time they turned their heads to exchange a tender kiss. The night wind was soft, and the smell of the grass spread in the air, gently surrounding them, and they were the only two in the world.
