Chapter 2: Memory Fragments. The Rising Sorceress Bianca And Dark Mage, Sigiel!—
Trying to ease into the search, me and Norora went from portal to portal, attempting to search for the Horn Pieces as planned. Trying out places like Winter Tundra, Artisans, Evening Lake, Summer Forest, Sunrise Spring and...Oh boy we tried just about all of them after a few hours of this. So much easing into it...They sure aren't easy to find..Normally my horn would at least send a tingle down my spine if we're close to any, but no luck..Maybe they have faint traces of magic in them by now?
"*comes out of the portal for Autumn Plains* Let's see...If I were a piece around here..I'd beee- *gets grabbed by her* Hmm? What's wrong, Zelara?"
"You said that for the last several portal trips...In the exact same order...Asking while getting my name wrong at the end and everything...= =;;"
"O-oh sorry...uh.."
"You apologized the exact same way too...T T"
"Then...What's the issue this time..?"
"...We need a better way to do this..= ="
"Like...Maybe asking Spryro...?"
"And what would Spyro know about this? He usually just stays in one world all day. T T"

"*facepalms* Lemme ask this once, and once only...Can you remember ANYTHING as far as spells your teacher taught you?"
"Hmmmm...-3- *sees her staring intensely* HMMMMMMMM. "
"(Please say you do...Jeez I'm SO ready to leave this guy here..=V=)"
"(Think think think..There's gotta be a lesson I didnt sleep on...) *looks around with an eye, seeing sheep spralling and skipping around* (Wait...didnt Pear say something about...) those sheep..."

"I have a magic for them...I wanna try it."
"Long as it's helpful, knock yourself out. U U"
"With that piece earlier, this should take no time to do..- - *focuses, grows horns on both sides of my head as they curve backwards* Hey it worked! I can work on Sheep Magic! ouo"
"Sheep..Magic...? o O"
"There's such thing, yeah...Not that I can remember the rest of it though.. ;"
"*siiiighs* Some help this was...= =;"
"H-hey now..It may not seem much but.."
"Hold on...If you know how to use magic to perform what you did..What do they call you guys back at home?"
"Oh, I'm Master Pear's student. ouo" "
"...Like I'll take that! What's your ACTUAL role called over there?"
"Umm...The Magic Guys?"
"I know it's not that. T T"
"Uhhhh, Mages! There we go. -u- *feels my sheep horns vibrating* ! I'm getting something! This way, Delora!"
"Ugh FINALLY! Lead the way, sheep boy" she replies, taking off running with me into the woods. Now this is weird..I couldnt feel anything while just standing in one spot but I do now...Maybe using some magic helps my sensory for Horn Pieces? I'll think about it later. Let's focus on getting this piece.
We pass by several batches of sheep, following my senses as best we could, til a set of sheep were running away in the other directon. Well my senses were kinda going in that direction anyway so might as well o3o. The moment we got this other forest area, some trees were cut down, and we saw some knights with bits of horns injected in their bodies. Well at least this is a good start. "Unless you want me to take care of them, dont just stand there" Elmora said, "You can take care of them? Really? o o" I asked, "Uh, Yeah pretty much. These guys're just mindless oafs. Just watch and learn, kiddo u u" she replied before taking a strong dash forward. Starting off, when a knight turned to her after swiping at a sheep, she does a dropkick on him that rang in all of our ears as she crushed in his metal platings with her hooves, bouncing off of him as she did a spinning kick at the other knight that rose his blade ot her, punting him in mid-air to his back. Another sword wielding knight partnered with one of the other few left standing to charge at Helora, but when they got close and in mid-swing down at her, they found their swords flung out their hands by her fast kicks, and got their faces caved in with a leap and a double-hooved strike launched right between their eyes, tumbling them down in seconds. "*claps* Wowwie, Belora! You're so good at this! o *sees a slightly bigger knight with horns coming out of his head coming my way* Oh no you dont! Have some of this! *runs up to him with flailing arms, bumping my stumped horn at him and falls over upon contact, holding my stump* Owwwieeee that hurt yknow #o" I whined, "*rolls eyes* (Sometimes I feel like I'm babysitting. T ,T) *dashes in, giving him a series of rapid, stomping flying kicks that were denting his armor and pushing him back* (I'm doing something but maybe this'll take some more oomph) *drops to the ground, dodging his swing by ducking then kicks out his legs with low hoove strikes aimed at them, making him fall; proceeds to jump and crush in his armor further, then does the same to his helmet til his horns snap out, noticing the last two knights also fall over* Huh, that's funny. I guess this one was controlling them?" she supposed, "*gets up, still rubbing my head* Yeah, I think so..Maybe with those horns in his head. They were bigger than the others' and I sense more dense magic from him. *sees him get back up slowly* Wuh ooh! Watch out, Yelora! *charges at him with a sudden burst of speed, hitting him with my big sheep horns, sending him flying back and into a tree, making him go completely limp* Whooooa, what did I do just now? Could it be Sheep Magic coming in handy? o o" I ask myself, "Well whatever it is, b-be careful. You almost hit me with it just now. -v-; *notices the broken off horns of the knights, along with a popped out blue orb from one of them, gathering up above us* Hmm? What're these weird lil things doing now?" she couldnt help but to ask. The pieces swirled, and fuse together with the orb after a moment, making a big dark purple horn that was floating there, brimming with magic density...Could it be..? "A Memory Fragment...?" I said out loud, "A what now?" she asked, "If I remember right...It's to help casters like me remember how to do spells taught to us. Not all can be taught verbally. Most you'll have to just get a feel for to do them" I explain, "And you remembered that? T.T" she points out, "Well, it's something that Master Pear told us everyday. He did use one or two on me during class for demonstration. *sees the Fragment drift into my chest, holds it close* Let's see...What'll I gain.." I lowly say, letting the Fragment burst into my body and add an inch to my stump. I took a moment, gave out a deep breath and felt a swirl around my body, noticing energies gathering around me, with noticeable green energies glowing around me. "What's this all about? *looks around, starts emitting the same glow* (Huh...? Me too?)" Elora wondered, "...Stand back, Lora. Let me try something.. *casts a hand out, firing a large bright green blast from my palm* O O! Did I do that...Wait...This is Forest Magic!" I shout, "Forest Magic? What's that like, Dorky?" she asked, "I remember now. By gathering enough energy from a very natural surrounding, I can shoot out powerful waves. In other words, protecting you should be alot easier now, Velora. ouo" I explain, "*kicks me to the ground with the swing of the leg, making me land on my back with both feet in the air* That's great and all, but can you PLEASE start remembering my name for once? It's ELORA! E-L-O-R-A. It is NOT hard! OVO; (That glow..It was just like his...Similar to when I use Healing Magic...Maybe he helped make it better..Or maybe even..) Now get up so we can check on Spyro. He can probably help us figure a few things out after showing him that new trick of your's. Remember his name too while we're at it T T" Elora told me before we went up to the hill we last saw her close friend on.
On the hill, Spyro was attending to Crimso's back wounds, especially where his stumps were. They bled somewhat, still trying to recover from his dangerous encounter with a certain black winged figure. He readied a few meats for him (sizzled from his own flames ofc), but Crimso only took one due to pride problems- The remainder of what's left, that is. Minutes later it was then that he spotted me and Galora coming, seeing the shocked look on our faces. He looked hesistant to tell us what happened, as if he felt guilty of hurting him. I mean Spyro didnt...Did he...?
"Crimoso! Your wings're gone! What happened to them?! O o;"
"[Elora] (Do you always gotta get everyone's name wrong..= =)"
"[Spyro] He uhh..I rather he tells you."
"[Crimso] It was...An attack...A really swift one..All I knew was that...My wings...That thing took them..And I had to come back.."
"[Elora] But why would something just beat you and take a set of dragon wings?"
"[Spyro] Yeah, weird right? I've been trying to figure that out too. This isnt your normal wildlife encounter."
"[Elora]...Like it was planned...Maybe even like it was taking orders..!"
"[Spyro] Sooo some kind of dragon tamer's on the loose? A bit obsessive much? *notices my different horns* ! Oh hey, where'd you get those from? Maybe you bought 'em?"
"N-no no these are real. Due to some Mimic Magic that Master Pear taught us. ouo"
"[Elora] (...Did he just remember what that kinda magic is called...Just randomly? -v-;;)"
"...Well I meant to say Sheep Magic but this is that too. o o;"
"[Spyro] Wait if it's where you can copy appearances...Think you can copy mine or Elora's?"
"I could...If I were a high level Mage...But I'm just low class one...Maybe even lower class... ;"
"[Elora] T-that cant be true! You wouldn't have beaten those bigger things I struggle to even put a dent in!..Right? =v=;;"
"Weeeell, thing is...There's about 5 high level Mages at the Monastery Academy, and a whole lotta us low Mages. Master Pear is a Top Mage teacher."
"[Elora]...So how do you rank up? - -"
"...You...Kinda dont.."
"[Spyro] (! W-what now? o o;;;)"
"[Elora] HUH?! Then what's the point of you GOING there then?! OVO;;"
"D-dont worry, I can still help out alot! o o; Y-yeah your class is set from birth b-but that's why Master Pear teaches us as many lessons and spells as possible, so we can compete with the higher class...As much as we can, at least. ;;"
"[Elora] *siiighs* great...Now we gotta find a High Mage to really get somewhere in our search..= =;"
"[Spyro] What about Bianca? She's a sorceress, remember?"
"[Elora] ! Oh yeah! Good thinking, Spyro! Let's find her! ouo ASAP! O O"
"Sorceress...Then she'd be a Mid level Mage. That's what those're called the Academy. ouo"
"[Elora] Then what about the high and top ones? What're they called?"
"...I forgot. ouo"
"[Elora] (You gotta be...Is he trying to be useless now? T T;) Look, let's...Just go already..e e"
"[Spyro] Since you're a lower class guy, what're the things you can change into?"
"Oh uhh, just common animals I see in the wilderness. The smaller ones anyway...At least I can..Sense horns and magic things better now..- -;"
"[Spyro] Yeeeah...Uh last time I saw her was at the Sorceress' Lair. She might be training there or something...g-good luck to ya.. ;" he farewelled a bit lowly, uncertainty in the air left behind as he returned his gaze to the injured Crimso. Waora guides me through one path after another to get to this place that Mylo mentioned. It's apparently far from the portals we've been using. If only I could use some sort of Flying magic, or grow wings to get to these places..They're just floating islands, right? Then there's how I cant see them from afar...These special glasses dont feel all that special now.
At the Monastery Academy, Professor Pear is seen deep into his many books as his students practice a large array of taught magic on each other. Nothing to blow up the classroom, just a few rumbles here and there. From growing trees to wielding large threading needles, scarves and even meat kabobs as magic weapons. Just about anything goes among his low level students.
"Pear, sweetie. How has your lost student been coming along?"
"*hears clacking heels coming this way* ! Ah yes, I can sense his progression just fine Mrs- *looks up, seeing her large breasts dangle in front as she bends over, looking down her purple robe and light green accents* o/o A-ahem! Mrs Morrow- Y-you-! *puts an opened book up in front* C-could you please start being better endowed? You are married for goodness sake. /"
"And? What I do while in a marriage is my business and mine only. My magic builds on depravity, remember? *sways rear from side to side, letting students stare; lowers his book with a finger* I came to tell you that I sent a student of mine to investigate a homeworld out there."
"M-my my, Mrs Morrow, isnt that a bit...Much? You foster nothing but Mid and High class Mages. This task is still very well manageable by even the lowest of my stu- ."
"Not this one, Pear."
"Hmm? H-how so? o o;"
"You see, four eyes. A certain Sorceress' Lair has caught my attention that my omniscience has been picking up. The place strangly lacks magic sources. That cannot do, and none of your lowly students can fix that issue. Only mine can."
"Is that right...(My omnisciece senses where she's talking about...Yes it is helpful we have as many realms possess dense streams of magical energies..But she is far more greedy than any executive among our Academy's higher-ups so..)"
"Relax. He is a new kid I found. He shouldnt damage the place...Much."
"W-what do you mean? O o;"
"If any difficult opposition gets in his way, he does tend to fly off the handle."
"D-does he now.."
"Again no need to worry. He's Mid class. With quite a knack for High class Dark Magic."
"E-EXCUSE ME?! O O;;"
"He wanted to learn from the best. Who am I to not let him have a bit of fun with it? Besides, he can only use a few at a time before he drops...Last time I checked last week. *turns around, letting him look at rear while shifting it out to the right* Anyways. I shall return to my bunch of rascals. Eager as they may be to see their sexy teacher. Tootles Peary~"
"*sees her walk away* (Please...Please little one...If you encounter this student..You have to run on sight...Or at least remember a magical weapon conjure spell or two..Oh who am I kidding. I know he didnt TT TT)" he thinks to himself, not looking forward to how their potential encounter would unravel.
Eventually after Gallora took down sets of Rhynorcs, one after another, with me helping defensively with my horns...By just standing in front of them..I-I was helpful, ok! We came to this hallway with a portal ready to beam us to our destination. Even before we entered, something did feel really off...I faintly feel any magic around me. Having a lack of energy from the forest for my Forest Magic is one thing due to being inside, but this...I'm even feeling numb from the waist down..Something about this place. This very rarely happens elsewhere but there's so little magic in the air that it's actually affecting me...Well as long as we dont face anyone powerful, we'll be good. Plus, this Cyanca girl should be even less likely to treaten us with this kind of situation! ouo
"[Elora] Hey Bianca. You're looking lonely in a place like this. What's the deal?"
"[Bianca] *was aiming at a few onlooking Rhynorcs in the distance, puts scepter down* I was...It's nothing.."
"[Elora] Well you're acting weird. *looks at her scepter* Wait a sec...Aint that the Sorceress' secpter?"
"Sorceress...Oh so this place and what she has belonged to a Sorceress...So where is she? o o"
"[Elora] Bianca...Did you blow her up up...Or you..Did something worse..?"
"[Bianca] I...*grips the septer* I may've hated her...But taking her life is still a bit much for me...So I banished her.."
"B-B-B-BANISHED? You used Banishing Magic?"
"[Elora] W-what's wrong? How bad is it?"
"Banishing Magic...Is consider Higher class Magic.."
"[Elora] R-really? But I thought you said she was Mid class.
"Y'see..Higher levels of magic allow even us to use them..At a cost. Losing consciousness, vision and ability to cast for a while."
"[Elora] I see...You've been real desperate enough to get rid of her like that.."
"[?] My my, so that's where a surge of magic essence is coming from. Delightful~."
"*turns around, seeing a man with drop in front of us, letting his light purple cap and diamond-studded cape flow in the wind, smirking our way* Hey there, Sigiel! You look great as ever! ouo"
"[Elora]...Something tells me he's bad news..- -"
"[Sigiel] No no no, my dear heavy-set faun. I came to restore the magic essence that was once plentiful in a lair such as this. To give the place a wonderous, elegant appearance it woefully deserves~. UuU"
"[Bianca] Dont be swayed by him..I know what he means.."
"What does he mean? ouo"
"[Elora] You know his name but you dont know what he means? Dont you two go to the same class? T T"
"Nope. ouo"
"[Elora] (Why do I ask him anything anymore...= =)"
"[Sigiel] That lost companion of your's...Where have I seen him...Ah yes! Pear's pesky pet!"
"(I'm not a pesky pet! ovo)"
"[Sigiel] His class is full of lowly clowns like him, but at any rate. The bunny friend is right to warn you two. Because unfortunately, the core of this area requires that a Mage with some Oomph to open it and wrought it out. Tis a process but I have taken it upon myself to fulfill this task. U U"
"[Elora]...So you really are bad news. T T"
"[Sigiel] Quite the contrary, rear deer. I am doing this land a favor with my presence alone."
"[Elora] (If he says another thing about my butt again...I KNOW EVERYONE CAN SEE IT OK!? OVO;;)"
"[Bianca] I've...Seen in the Soceress' books about it...But I do just fine without..Doing all that.."
"[Sigiel] Miss, surely you jest. You'd have quite the magical power in no time once the core becomes unearthed. Learning other spells should even quicker as well."
"Soooo..Does that mean you're going to destroy this place..?"
"[Sigiel] Why yes if you want to put it simply."
"Then I cant let you..."
"[Sigiel] What...?"
"I can tell...This place..It means something to Lianca-"
"[Bianca] Bianca. e e"
"It means something to Bianca. She may not've liked the Sorceress that was here..But she learned alot here and.."
"[Sigiel] Are you supposing this place is more valuable than our Academy?"
"I'm not saying that at all..We cant just take things like this away from people like that.."
"[Sigiel] You..You lowly little lout! To go against one who's under Academy order like this!"
"[Bianca] He...He has a point. *sees him looking this way, stares back at him* I'm still learning more. Especially for the students that she..Took the lives of. I cant just let this place go like that."
"[Sigiel]...Hmph. Well boohoo. U U"
"SIGIEL! *gets his attention with a widened stare* Yoooou...! YOU CANT JUST DO WHATEVER YOU WANT WITH PEOPLE! v"
"[Elora] (D-dorky..! o o)"
"If you dont show Bianca and this place some respect, then I'll..! I'LL...! V;"
"[Sigiel] You will what? Hurl empty threats to shoo me away?...Best me? A lowly clown such as you? TuT HAH!"
"I'll do it! Me and Biance are taking you down! oVo"
"[Sigiel] OHOHOHOHOOO! ಥ,ಥ How rich! She might be a Sorceror such as I but even the three of you combined cannot hope to defeat me! But if you so dare, your funerals. Not that anyone will mourn your deathly demises. Very lease, not I."
"[Elora] Alright for that one, you're going down FOR SURE! I'm tired of your pompous remarks and thinking you can get away with anything!"
"[Sigiel] Hmph! So the forest's heftiest childbearer chooses to challenge my greatness as well. Very well then! Let the duel of the Sorcerer's best against the woodland dwellers commence! It is high time I demonstrate how weak you all truly are! oV-" he declares to us before shaking and cracking the ground beneath us while building his magical power. It might've scared me for a moment but I ignored it..Im doing this for Bianca! Someone like Sigiel shouldnt get his way, even if he was told by the Academy to be here! Me and Bianca stood there, building our magical power as well, enough to barely feel the shockwaves from Sigiel's. Suddenly, I extended big chunks of wood from my chest at him, making him soar up and take flight, quickly finding himself swooping around us. "Fools. Cape Magic gives me the flight I need to dodge all of your silly attacks. *sees Bianca following behind in the air* Ah, so you can use a similar magic yourself. Robe Magic perhaps? *turns to her, shooting a big shinning gray ball at her to her surprise* (Let's see how well you fair against my basic, nonelemental attacks..! \u/)" he then thought to himself, "*sees many gray spheres flying this way from him, generating one after another from him* (Uh oh!)" she reacts, steering away from him as they try to explode on her in blinding expanding bursts, "*sees her shooting back at them with casts of lightning from her Septer* Lightning Magic? Nice choice, but you need more than that..! *flops both arms open, shooting many various elemental spheres at her* ALL elemental spells are at my disposal! YOU CANT HOPE TO COMPARE!" he then shouts, "(! I really cant hold back!) *is about to cast many as well but a huge piece of wood blocks view, taking on the incoming spell attacks* ! Who did- *looks down, seeing my hands casting out this way* (Forest Magic?)" she reacts to herself, "*sees another large piece of wood being shot this way* (Forest Magic. Quite a strong one at that) *looks down, seeing legs locked in place by extended tree branches* (I see..He's using the forest outside to tether me down. While I wasnt looking the whole time? I admit. He's certainly has a knack for this..) *materializes a wand, cast down at me* BUT I HAVE JUST THE MAGIC COUNTER THIS! TO CINDERS WITH YOU! oVO" he shouts, casting a giant fireball my way, burning all my wood around him instantly, "DORKY LOOK OUT! THAT'S HUGE!" Elora urgently shouts, "HMMMMMMMMMMAAAAAAHHH!" I shout with as much gathered magical power as possible, and my main horn extends out with a bright, white glow to it, bursting through the dwarfing fireball upon contact as the horn spears skyward. "! IMPOSSIBLE! *flies out of the way of it, only the bottom of the cap getting pierced by it* (Blast! A second sooner and I'd be skewered..But how! Horns dont just grow like-) *sees it disappear, looks down at me, noticing the returned horn stump on my head as I heavily breathed* (What is this...It cant be..Light Magic, could it...? No that cant be! A lower level Magic cant have learned something this advanced..That damn pathetic Professor Pear does try his best to teach his runt of students everything he knows..) *builds more power from within, glowing with swirling shadows* (In case that was nothing more than a fluke..) It's time I stop holding back! After showing you pathetic worms an ounce of my Dark Magic, NO ONE is walking away alive!" he threatens us, "! D-Dark Magic?! *feels the whole area raising around us, lava floating and all* No..! This power's too much! Even for a Sorceror like me! We have to get outta here or else-!" Bianca was saying, "No, we're staying!" I told her, "ARE YOU CRAZY?! WE CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS! O O;;;;" Helora and Biance react, "But we can! Just give me your energy! If I can give it one last push, he's done for.." I told her, building up my magical power as much as possible but barely, "...Alright...But if this doesnt work..You know what'll happen...*looks to Elora* Follow my lead.." Bianca then told her, grabbing her hand, "Of all things to bet on...*looks up, seeing the skies darken and swirl with twisting clouds as Sigiel gathers a large ball of darkness above himself* J-just make it quick, ok? Who knows when'll finish" Elora replies, gathering bits of magic in herself too, channeling it to Bianca then to me, "No you dont! You're going on your knees NOW!" he shouts before diving in, "Wait huh? o o; *backflips away from his diving punch before he dashes in for another strike, wind spinning rapidly in his fists* (You've gotta be kidding me! v;;) *sees me charging into him with booming headbutt* (Dorky..! OoO)" she reacts, "YOU...! *waves me away then gives me an exploding punch but see me not budge, then seeing my glasses being held in front as they surge with power* WHAT...WHAT IS THIS?!" he then reacts, "*holds my shoulder from behind, handing me the septer* It's our magic" Bianca starts, "With a bit of Pear's magic..Our Banishing Light..!" I said, encasing him into a space of mirroring screens (with Bianca's help) beaming him into the skies with my extending horn, "(They...! They combined their magic JUST NOW?!) *looks back, seeing the large sphere of darkness coming this way* NOOOOOO!" he shouts in terror before being jetted into the black sphere, making it explode into a black hole upon contact before being sucked into a powerful vacuum of light (mostly the Banishing Magic's vacuum), both warping and disappearing into it. Moments later, the skies clear and replaced by a sunset while gravity returned to the area. "A-Amazing...Did..Did we do it..? I THINK WE DID IT GUYS! OUO *feels the ground give a massive THUD, with many rocks falling around us, hits head on the ground* OWW OWWWW! # *rubs head, seeing the lava spilling over the ledge* ! Hey guys, we should get outta here and- *looks at me and Bianca, seeing how we're out cold* (Huh? I guess they did really use everything they had...Ooooo do I always gotta babysit? V;;)" Elora said to herself, picking us both up and hopping out of the area.
Hours later, with what felt like a whole day went by..When I opened my eyes, it was night time and I was on top of a hill. Wow...Look at the moon too. I can practically touch it while looking that close..Still no sight of Elora...I guess I can wait here a bit before she comes back..Looking around a bit more, I see Bianca at the bottom of the hill, a few meters away. At least she's here...Still...That was some magic stunt I pulled...Haha..We barely got anywhere all day..I mean, we helped Bianca out so that counts for something, right?..Man, does my head hurt..If only I knew what that attack was...Or if I could do it again. In fact, I only feel a hint of magic within me...This'll take so long to recover...As I thought some more about what happened, I heard familiar footsteps rustling and approaching me from behind. My vision is still a bit hazy but I can make out those hooves from anywhere..=u=
"*walks up to me, giving out a bunch of berries* About time you woke up. You had me waiting all day."
"How...How long was I out..?"
"I dunno. Not like I had a spare dial or watch out here. I'd guess 7 hours. It was bright out here when I found this place for us."
"7 hours...? Man...I know it like...I shouldnt have pushed that hard but..*sees Bianca turning over below* Hey look she's trying to wake up too."
"She should be up soon. Maybe to explain all this better."
"Yeah...*is handed a fistful of berries* O-oh thanks. *sees her sit next to me* Lenora. "
"! IT'S-! OVO;"
"Haha, just kidding. I've been remembering. u"
"Well haha, real funny. Now eat up. -v-"
"*eats a few of them* Mmm! These red ones are my favorite. Are they cherries? ouo"
