OK, here we are. We're almost to the end of this story—not the end of the series, but the end of this particular book in this series. We have a handful of chapters left, and I'm doing them in days, so I only have a battle day in the whole war, which will be in one chapter, until the war will take place in a matter of one day, probably kind of like the destruction of Boulder.
And just like some chapters before it, this will be a split chapter between Lily and the heroes and Alex himself preparing for their big board battle day and preparing all the different roles that they will be portraying.
Don't forget war is coming on the bogeyman both sides have to prepare for this brutal war.

The fall of fall of the king of nightmares will be happening soon, and the satisfaction of it will be happening in the next chapter but this is about preparing everything they need for what they need to do.
Everyone will be doing everything, Lily's part of it Luther's part of it, and his team, the bogeyman, and his Warriors.

It was the next day following my request and not just my request but the question I wanted to ask my ex about saving my family and people and saving my kingdom from a curse and what would happen if he died if all his curses would be undone and including the one on my mother, if not, then my father would have to kiss her awake hopefully that'll happen if he loves her enough but I'm also worried that he lied and it isn't a curse and they're dead. There is a curse on my family, though not the one on my mother that caused her to sleep when I was awakened my mind by Luther, kissing me but curse with the bogeyman if that breaks, then they could be resurrected from the dead and that could be a good thing too. That means all curses on our kingdom will be broken, including the one where my family has to marry his family can be broken because there will be no more boogie man to carry on that legacy and that curse I remember the first bogeyman in my history, place that curse on our family all those years ago.
I decided to educate the Orians about the elections about this curse, and what the first bogeyman did to his family of the curse that was placed on us
Educate us. Luther said please Lily OK I said I'll give you the education. I said that every one of us has royal blood and had to learn about our history. Every bogeyman and every dream maker had to learn. This is passed down from generation to generation.
So I decided to educate them. This is part of preparing for this battle ahead and the war that is coming, and what they know is that they're fighting for the freedom of my family, the freedom from the evil of the bogeyman's generations. Since there was the first dream, there was the first nightmare, I began nightmare realm, and the dreamland used to be one as in we used to have an equal amount of power we used to coexist in peace, I said, since the beginning of time since the day that the Lord in heaven created the world, I began to say they don't when the world was first created, but when sin first entered the world and nightmares and fear entered the world
And was that we coexisted with classic monsters, were always our friends. They took care of the nightmares at the time because they felt children's nightmares monsters who lived under your beds are in your closets monsters who fed on children's screams at night, your normal daily fears, and classic fears like the dark and other things build people's minds.
Maybe I should show you I said as I used my dream magic here we go I said the power of my powers I'll give you the memories I said using my time Chris's counterpart's abilities. I gave them memories of the past. It was a lot easier, but I still narrated as well for a long time. I said everyone lived in peace. The Sandman was the ruler of the world well the world of dreams that is, and Father Time coexists by his side because he was the Father of Time appointed as an angel by God, Father Time and the same man were angels of the Lord . Even Ezra, on the first page of a Lynch, and not alone cause he never heard this history before it was foreign to him. I told Ezra to pay attention because Alvin will play a part in this at some point or another, and will need to know this history to know how to defeat Alvin and the villains later.
And the human city that disappeared, came from our world of dreams. That's where the human city is. It was a mystical city, but I'll explain the history of that later.
Luther said you are smart Lily thank you I said I'm not a genius, but I know my facts Ash even not that long. I know a lot about history. Ash said, but I didn't know that this was that type of history. It wasn't taught in Alencia. I said it's frowned upon where you came from Ezra agreed and nodded. Yes, I did not want everyone to know the true history of everything and I don't know the true history of everything either Ezra said, maybe that's why I thought everything was an exception because I didn't understand everything yet I agreed with Ezra all right then let's continue. Where was I? I said oh yes, we need to understand our enemy before we have to fight him. Then I continued opening the books that I needed to open to read some of that I had to read from both fax, but some of it was just based on knowledge that I knew how I knew it wasn't important The most important thing is that I knew this fact in history, how was an important they asked me what happened next.
They didn't think they would get a history lesson the day before our big battle against the bogeyman.
Well, I said obviously, they needed descendants to carry on bloodlines like I said Father Time had a family that eventually like I said became the modern counterpart. Alvin was part of that family line Luther thought so I am married to a descendent of Alvin who am I a descendent of yes and no I said I'm not a complete direct sentence to Alvin I said I was a direct complete descendent of Father Time himself I'm a descendent mostly of father not a father time but of the Sandman Luther nodded starting to understand what I was meaning by my words.
I'll tell you about the history of the human city later cause that is not an important history lesson right now everyone agreed I will give that history later and what the city was actually called because I knew what it was in history and father time used to live there, but he doesn't know more.
Then I continued anyway after descendants were born and I'll get into a lot of those details later, but we're focusing on the Sandman side of the family, not father time I said, but I just want to let you know that the modern counterpart came from that side of the family in some way as a gift from father time to the Dreammaker family to protect to protect the youngest member of the dream makers's family everyone nodded. I'll explain that later when we go against your villains from Valencia, they are not in agreement again.
Everyone asked me what happened next Lily well, I said, continuing the story. This is the Sandman side of it. The Sandman married a beautiful fairy just like Father Time married a beautiful fairy father Ty married a ferry of time. I don't know if she's still alive or not I saw her with the Sandman married the ferry of sleep of peacefulness of dreams a dream fairy she married a dream fairy and through that, the line of the dream makers was created, but their was a rebellion stirred up for years during the time of it. The same man existed before time and so did the beautiful ferry that he married the classic monster fear ruled for a long time before the Sandman could take complete control and give it to the Dreammaker family. The dream makers did not have control. They had more ruling for a long time and the peace between monsters and the Dreammaker fairy family. My fairy blood runs true I said. I could live eternally if I wanted I could choose that, but I'm not going to. I wanna choose to die and go to heaven and live eternally. Even some of the classic monsters have eternal life or at least they live long lifespans some of the witches that I know can die they don't live forever and they go to hell they chose their path, but they're kind to us zombies can also die out and so can vampires even though they could live forever if they choose.
The only mystical beings in our world that are not completely eternal or mermaids and unicorns. They cannot live forever, but fairies can everyone nod or they can choose not to I said, and everyone, not it again what happened with the rebellion? I'm getting to that for a long time. The dream makers lived long, peaceful, lives, and peaceful rulers followed peaceful rulers over time for hundreds and thousands of years, the Sandman produced a long legacy of people to live on to be rulers of dreams and appointed them multiple different jobs even though some were side nightmares.
But the devil himself wanted to corrupt our bloodline he couldn't corrupt the Sandman and his wife so he decided to make his bloodline somehow with dark dream sand, which became nightmare sand, and he took a monster that was the classic bogeyman monster, and gave him overtime power because he wanted power to overthrow our kingdom he wanted control of our world, end of the dreams and create nightmares, and with that, a rebellion was made out of one of our children. One of the originals became a bogeyman who had darkness in his heart, who was the eldest son of one of the dream makers at the time, or was he the youngest no yes, the youngest because that's where the dream maker magic was the strongest this was wrong before Pinecrest encounter parts were a thing at the time Valencia wasn't anything but land somewhere far away.
The bogeyman family was part of our family, a cousin or something like that made from the devil himself the eldest son of our family line or maybe it wasn't that since it was a cousin sorry it was a cousin or the brother of the Sandman, who was a demon of the devil who was in control of nightmares that's who it was I got that messed up. I'm sorry a demon who made it with a human fairy as well, who had dark spells and dark magic who had dream maker magic, who made it and had the family at the bogeyman.
But not one has me for messing up my history anyway I said, continuing the story before I continued, I said that Understanding what the enemy is and who they are is what's gonna help us win this war I said .
This will accidentally tell you some of Alvin's origins, but I will skip over some of it. I said, cause I wanna give that full history later anyway during the rebellion years of our cousin or the Sandman's nephew, I should say it was the nephew with the Sandman, who had darkness in his heart from the devil being worn off that of a demon of darkness itself and fear itself. The first bogeyman was created, and he ruled and took her conquered and ruled nightmare realm, knocking out the classic master of the classic monsters from their line. The count remembers this. He's not with us right now, but he would remember this battle of war because he's over I don't know if he's that old, but he remembers it the history or whatever but the vampires ruled the nightmare realm before the bogeymen family took over.
And the bogeyman family only had one child who would be their successor, male or female. It didn't matter who it was.
All that matters is they were both sides supernatural I said that mother and father would've been better at this lesson than I but I was doing my best. They said I was they said you're doing OK thank you all right continuing I said generations followed not for the first counterpart in time cross pair because Alvin and Ezra were the first pair of counterparts in time Crest so there was no marriage between them but brotherhood but I don't remember in the history that the first made made contact with the first one of the first rulers of the dream makers, but in that family to save the life of the youngest child of the Dreammaker family unless they had an only child.
This roar has been going on for centuries, I said hundreds of years, I said peace is only been contained because the youngest member of the family the Dreammaker was always be proven to the bogeyman family.
Here's how the curse went I said to my acknowledge this was the juicy stuff that everyone needed to know.
The bogeyman family cursed my family the Dream Makers, long before a counterpart was born until they added it to the rule later as a way to save a counterpart or the youngest member of the Dreammaker family the curse is such the youngest member of the family of the dream makers who has no job in the dream making or protecting of people in the mortal realm in the land of the awakening world has to marry the bogeyman and carry on the bogeyman's air. Also, it's a sacrificing woman or a man who is a dream maker, who is given to the woman or man of the boogie man family will be sucked out of their energy after the birth of a new bogeyman or boogie woman. If it's the boogie woman, the woman will not die, but the man will die because the seed was gone the woman would die after all of the bogeyman sucking of dry of her energy, so that's what happened to you, darling. Luther asked, yes, darling when I was carrying the child with the bogeyman and was about to give birth that the baby inside my womb was sucking out my energy, but it couldn't suck at all because of the next prophecy that God put in place and the first mage also took a hand in to protect my family if this ever happened as he nodded, he knew this part.
The prophecy was if this ever occurred, the bogeyman's power would weaken, and this union would be glorious to God and to Father Time himself, but it never occurred until now I said.
And it was guaranteed because of Luther's bloodline through his father's side Luther said I have counterpart blood as well. Yes, your father was a trainer, and one of the I think he was the counterpart for your grandmother Violet I'm not sure, but I'll have to look into it when I tell the history of your family and mine for that part of it. I said we've not related Luther so you don't need to worry but the Sandman and Father Time are good friends and that's a different story for a different time of the family is not the same as Roy being related, but it has to go with this curse it turned out that father time, and the Sandman was sick of the bogeyman marrying off the youngest member of the dream makers to the bogeyman family to continue their bloodline and one of them to seek family elsewhere to have children. The bogeyman hated it and cursed our family for it in the war for a peace deal and they hated that piece deal, but they had to figure out another way around it so when lunch show was born, and Pinecrest and counterparts were made, Father time, decided that his family would produce counterparts and not by blood relation, but family, best friend relation. The child of youngest child of the dream maker family would get counterpart power if a time crest was born here she would have to marry the male or female time crest would have to marry female or male counterpart and turn, breaking the curse between the two families the curse of the bogeyman marrying the youngest member of the Dreammaker family.
Everyone was not at long in agreement and listening to my story. Remember, I will be telling the other side of it when I start talking about Alvin and how to defeat our villains for Valencia anyway the curse is mostly broken at least the curse on me having to marry the bogeyman, even though I had to marry the bogeyman in the end, but for a long time until I was born, no counterpart has been successfully able to marry their time because they live so far away the curse was almost broken when Ju Lius, Luther's father married Helena, the daughter of a time crest Violet, but it didn't break the curse completely because it just produced another time or two as I looked over at Ash Helena and Julius just simply nodded. We thought it would break the curse it didn't. I said I had to marry Luther Helena you kept me from it for a long time too. Also, counterparts were never able to marry their time press because usually, they died of their counterpart's disease. The only reason Julius didn't die was because he married Helena nothing again at the couple in the room they had to be present for this.

We are given natural time crest powers through the power of the father time our powers are natural That is why Julius was able to modify the pocket watch to connect with me for Luther to connect to me. Alvin kept the support that would keep the counterpart in Time Press from ever actually physically communicating with one another. but the mold was broken after Julius left, and went to Valencia to modify the pocket watch. He was sent not just to build train stations there, but to modify the watch and save our bloodline you're an unsung hero Mr. Reed he nodded. He didn't correct me and called him Mr. Time Crest I was referring to his name before I knew you would correct me but I'm sorry it's fine Lily he said the counterpart wish broke your spell of death, and the spell for violent death because you were found by Alvin anyway.
None, till I was born, was the time crest in counterpart able to successfully marry I was young. I'm younger than Luther so it helped a little bit too. What happened was I was born the youngest the 10th in line to the throne and the youngest that meant that I had to marry the bogeyman, but I had a saving grace mother also helped in this, even though it was part of our legacy, and curse to break it contacted Ezra to make sure that I married my time crest and he made sure that Luther stayed alive by removing Luther's emotions. Ezra nodded. Yes, my dream maker I did he said Lily he said, saying my name I did talk to your mother about making sure that you and Luther married I didn't want this curse to continue he said, and it was wrong that you were married to the bogeyman because one he was your family and nodded. I knew that too I'm the only one who's ever actually successfully married my time press which means I broke half the curse at least the curse that the bogeyman put on the family about the time press counterpart, the last member of youngest of my family to ever marry the bogeyman, even though I still had to marry him when I was young, but I divorced him and married my time crest.
In doing so it protected my bloodline and gave me aura as well that's why I didn't completely die for the bogeyman's attacks I successfully married my time press and now our blood is pure again pure blood runs through us pure blood from a time crust encounter runs through us in our children securing our future, an intern it weakens the bogeyman's power and influence once the boogie man dies the curse on my family that they're dead will break and they'll come back to life because of my blood of a time and counterpart powers and Luther being a time-pressed in general I will turn back time and save my family.
The curse was supposed to think that we have peace between the two families, but in turn made even more of deeper war when my husband or ex-husband, Alex married me, he thought he was signing the peace treaty between our families when my father married us off, but instead, he elevated the curse to happen quicker by having the bogeyman kill them in cold blood and return Luther has to kill the bogeyman's followers and the bogeyman himself in cold blood in this breaking the curse, and showing my father that I have successfully married my time pressed.
As I finished the story, everyone was amazed at all the facts I knew I took a deep breath and breathed in and out. It was a great effort because of being pregnant I was breathing heavily, not ready for birth, but I was breathing heavily because I used so much energy and aura. Give this great story in speech you did well Ezra said thank you Ezra I said don't worry I have a lot more to come when it comes to your side of it and our war against the villains of Alencia and Father Time and all of that I just didn't wanna mention that yet.
So now we just need to plan out the rest of that warfare and prepare. I will prepare my dream and cure so I can travel to drop sand during this war or if Luther has his machine ready I will just deposit it from here from ion, which I probably will do I'll do it during my pregnancy anyway Father will be eating his words and so will Alex as well.
A time in an era has come to an end everyone goes and does what they need to do to prepare for war I said as I headed off to the lab to get ready to sit for a battle day, it won't be for another day so we all need to rest after this planning.
I heard Luther say to get your weapons in magic ready. Everyone agreed and said yes Luther.
This is what we've been waiting for he said, and everyone went off to do their own thing. I went to rest for a bit. My job was simply to sit at the machine and push the button and distribute the sand and here all over the world that was an easy job, so Luther just told me to rest and I went to do as he was told having children would be very difficult on me right now, so I went to take a nap and to think about him while I slept, my time crashed my love.e
I remembered when he was just a thought away with the power of Lily's horn from Leah's horn so I could see him through the magical pool of reflection, watching his memories as a child and seeing how beautiful he was now I didn't have to cause I could touch him and he can touch me I don't have to worry about touching ripples and he disappears. I can just touch him and kiss him now I'm having children with him my beautiful love.
As I went to take a nap, everyone else went to prepare.
Luther said take a great nap. I'll see you at dinner. I smiled as I went to sleep.
I heard Helena say Luther don't worry I will take care of your beautiful wife. She smiled and she took me to her other hand. Helen, I had no magic and neither did Julius so they could help take care of me for a little while.

If we can play our cards right this war would only have to last a day just like the destruction of Boulder, except Luther will have people to help him and lay down and go to bed while everyone else plans out the rest of their strategies.

Everyone digested what Lily had said before she went to bed a full-on history, lesson about the dream maker, family, and the history of the fight and war with the battling with bogeyman family for years there were things probably she didn't tell everything, but she told what she needed to tell and the war between them.
If Lily didn't have to go to sleep, she would've been there to listen to their strategies, but she was tired she was pregnant and she needed to rest.
Now Luther said getting the attention of everyone else, not my lovely life, and giving us my lovely wife has given me everything we needed to know it's time to make our battle plans. This isn't like our battle with Rothbart so we need to come up with some strategies, everyone came up with so many good ideas. Even Julius was gonna fight even though he had no magic. He knew how to use weapons so that was good even Violet was going to assist him. She had some magic at least time magic so she would be very useful in some ways.
Riley's practice with her was gonna practice with her sword or not her sword, but her lance on dummies on fake targets so what I see with his sword everyone will go practice using their weapons and magic soon training is just as important as anything else.

Even though they weren't there, the classic monsters had their orders as well. They were gonna fight as well, and they were probably making their plans as part of the resistance to the bogeyman. And a tape of their freedom for the peace between the two kingdoms. To become one once again.
In the ferry and were kingdoms, they were all getting ready for the battle too. It was for their freedom. They were fighting for Luther would give out their orders later.
There are three other ways of communication.
He told them what their strategy would be, and then he told him to go practice and they did after getting the breakdown of what he wanted them to do he told them to go and practice. I have to practice too. Most of them went to practice sparring with Luther and Ash and Violet even joined them.

Alex was calling a meeting with his advisors and warriors, the dreamland family, the dream maker, family, and Swan family or whatever they wanna be called is declared war and so have I I'm been itching for this fight. He said let us talk about our strategies for cheating. We were ruthless, killed them like we did the Dream Maker family, but left Lily alive because I wanted her. They talked about what they would do and the instructions and everything thinking they were gonna win this war in this battle they didn't need to practice because they were going to cheat, even though they needed to practice they were fighting because they hadn't been fighting and didn't go into battle and defeated the book dream makers all those years ago for nothing.
One of his advisors asked Alex what's your strategy for getting Luther? He's strong. I will kill Luther Pinecrest. He said he may be the time for the counterpart, but I will kill him and I'll have Lily for myself and I will kill the baby in her womb as he left, wicked lead to himself and his advisors the last of the dream makers will fall soon I will kill her from me and her family will never awaken. He said they will never awaken from their slumber and my master Alvin will reward me well with her death.
The last of the counterparts will fall along with the last of the time crest and the world will fall apart forever.
Go and prepare a surprise from our little warriors they think they can beat us. They have another thing coming they might have magic and powers of their major powers, but they cannot defeat me. Luther may be strong, but he is weak too and foolish. I won't be able to take Lily as a prize for war because she'll be trapped inside that palace and I can't get inside that. I am palace. If I can have her then I'll leave her a widow queen and her children and she gives birth and will have no father if Luther dies ha ha ha ha ha he says.
Lilly if I can't have you then, I'll leave you a widow your husband will die soon.
With that, he dismissed his council and said go and prepare.
Yes, our Lordship and yes, you Lordship they said again as they bowed and left.
He thought about and dreamed about what he'd be doing to Lily if they won, he would kill the children by having sex with her. Oh how pleasing it will be to him.
He still had a little bit of his nightmare powers so he decided to send Lily a dream nightmare because she was still asleep and everyone won't be able to save her from it for a while. She won't die obviously but he was just gonna send her a warning. Luther pro came in later, but he didn't care.
His victory feast was coming in a beautiful lily flower to pick he could hardly wait. It will be mine. He said as he sent her a nightmare, but it was his dream. Let us have our victory dinner you're the feast just like you were on our wedding night Lily, darling, and let me inside to feast and fertilize my old flower, and I will kill Luther's seed he says he sent the dream to her. Thank you, darling. I'm gonna rock in here like a rocking horse. I'm gonna play inside. Kiss tongue, kiss, tongue, kiss tongue taste in you lily tasting you. My thing taste you inside Lily Kissy kiss please Luther's dad he can't save you. You know why because I killed him Lily the war is over. Lily thought she cried over it.
Then an ear-piercing screen filled the air, and Luther came into the room rats. Alex said as a as his spiritual self left, it wasn't his spiritual self completely but it was his mind. He left her when Luther came into the room and asked if she was OK dang I cannot hurt her .
Her stupid time pressed he'll be dead soon enough instead of out loud.

I woke up from a nap screaming did I get a nightmare? It's OK. I heard Luther say quietly maybe I should lay here with you and let you finish your nap. I will not let anyone hurt you. You know that I nodded as I leaned against him, but what about your strategy? I can't leave you alone for one minute darling. I should've just sat with you. Yes, don't you need to practice practice enough? I'm not a master for nothing darling is Alex gonna kill you no, I will kill him before he kills me. I promise you that he might be the first one to die and then the others will be easy to defeat.
Once that happens, your family will be safe and so will we wanna lay here with you until dinner time he said as he snuggled close to me and I fell asleep again leading against my love my time pressed. I'm not leaving leaving you again. I promise not until natural death takes me. He doesn't know Alex Boogie Man does not know what he's dealing with and who he's dealing with. he will die not me precious.

You never have to worry again he whispered as he fell asleep holding me close. Will go eat dinner soon, but I want to rest with you for a bit. Also, I wanna digest everything you told me earlier of course I said.
Besides you'll be having my children soon I laughed, knowing this to be true.
Then he kissed me and said sleep, darling my beautiful queen needs rest. I laughed knowing that I knew that I needed rest. Stress is not good for you right now. It's not good for the baby or anything after we sleep we'll go for a walk. That'll be good for you And for your aura and the children.
And soon we'll have true peace at last I knew that too true peace will soon come to us.
After Luther and I took a nap, we got up and took a walk around the grounds of our beautiful home then we had dinner and then we went to bed completely this time ready for tomorrow's events.
